861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs 2019: A Year Of Success of Failure? on: August 24, 2019, 09:15:37 PM
You have said it all, but however Ferrum Network conducted a kind of ICO this year and it was successful as it finished within hours. Also, within days they got their token listed on a good exchange too. The last time I checked, it was trading above ICO price don't know about now.
That's the only successful ICO I have seen this year others switched to IEO.  In addition, from all ramifications this year is the year of IEOs but depends on the exchange promoting it though.
862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What exchange is better than binance? on: August 23, 2019, 09:52:13 PM
I don't think there is any exchange that can be compared with Binance as it stands today maybe in the future but for now there is none. In terms of services Binance is top notch, in terms of team they are okay, in terms of their exchange it is user-friendly and portable; so on what bases can you compare?
However, there are still other exchanges that are good but not as good as Binance and it is Gate.
863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid mistake newbies still do till date on: August 23, 2019, 09:43:22 PM
I think the failed to understand the meaning of the world "private" because it they do then they will know that private key is meant to be personal. However, in any given chance we should try and educate them on certain things like how to secure private keys, backup phrase etc so we all can grow together.

865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in these altcoins? on: August 01, 2019, 04:10:52 PM
Although this is an old post I can only go for XLM and IOTA. Nevertheless, you should always make your own research so as to make the best decision because everyone will only say what makes the project unique in their own way but you might have another perceptive to look at these coins.
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do not have prices and exchanges, but can be traded? How can? on: August 01, 2019, 04:05:47 PM
The reason for that is, MEW only takes into account few exchanges thus showing the price, if the price is higher or lower in another exchange not support by MEW it will not show correlate with that token. Also, that's why you will see a token listed on an exchange but no price value showing in MEW, because MEW is yet to support it.
867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why did you choose your current exchange? on: August 01, 2019, 04:01:17 PM
I use many exchanges though and hardly have any favourite but there are other I use frequently owing to their user-friendly Nature like Binance. My reason of not having any favourite exchange is to allow me utilize other exchanges the way I want without unnecessarily comparing them thus missing my aim of getting involved with that exchange in the first place.
868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption Over Bull Run on: August 01, 2019, 03:57:13 PM
Yes I agree with you. Adoption is what will surly give tremendous rise to the value of this space and of course will cause bull run because people will get to start using cryptocurrency in real-life. Also, a study on this space recently, it is evident that most projects are developing their products or platform so as to compete with others  while those that failed to are going down with each passing day.
869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is IEO? on: August 01, 2019, 03:50:19 PM
IEO means; I: Intial E: Exchange O: Offering.
IEO is gaining popularity today owing to its better way of ensuring a scam free fund raising processes. Of course it takes place in exchanges which to a great extent contributes in ensuring investors safety. This feat is what makes IEO better than ICO.
870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAMMERS TAKING SERIES OF DIMENSIONS on: August 01, 2019, 03:47:17 PM
That's phishing if am not mistaken. In order to be safe,  I always login to exchanges via Coinmarketcap because that's where the correct website address is. Also, another way is checking the group or channel, take note of the admins and then check for the website which is mostly in the pinned message. But in all, going through Coinmarketcap is the best..
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Managers do not Determine the Legitimacy of a Cryptocurrency Project on: August 01, 2019, 03:40:09 PM
The only difference between bounty hunters and bounty managers is their role, the first promotes while the other manages; none of them can determine the authencity of any project. So some saying that bounty managers determines the how legit a project is, is wrong they are only hired to do a job.
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Teaches Me New Patience And Experience! on: August 01, 2019, 03:37:36 PM
Those are the two most important things to learn before being an expert in trading. But one comes before the other; that is, patience comes before experience because it is the patience you have to learn all that needed to be learnt will determine your level of experience in trading.
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO increasing rapidly on: August 01, 2019, 03:22:44 PM
Since this year, ICOs were not heard of because they were overshadowed by IEOs while IEOs on the other hand were growing with each passing day. Nevertheless, Ferrum did their ICO today and it finished within 1hour, I think if ICOs can be properly managed there might be a chance of them coming back gradually; Ferrum just paved the way today. But at the same time carefulness and due diligence should be adopted because scammers will still look for ways to get at investors if ICOs starts coming up again. I wish Ferrum the best..
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ICO'S Scamed since last year on: July 27, 2019, 05:13:14 PM
Owing to the growth of the crypto space as of 2017 ICOs gained massive attention thus fraudulent individuals saw it as an opportunity to scam investors. Therefore with that growth and as well hype, throughout last year ICOs dealt mercilessly with investors. But now we have learnt the hard way thereby knowing how to protect ourselves.
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have lost 8 letters of my Ethereum private key on: July 27, 2019, 05:03:15 PM
Sorry about that mate, but I have no seen or heard of anyone who can help retrieve private keys. They are called private keys because they are meant to be private to us alone and any loss means we should forget the account. Why not you try retracing your steps maybe you can find where you stored it.
876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can we ever have altcoin season again. on: July 27, 2019, 04:53:51 PM
One thing I have learnt about this space is that, prediction don't normally work, most times people predict based on what they know while the market will go against everything. So I think it's better trading, etc while allowing the market to play out this will not only keeps us at rest but will also allow us to explore other options or opportunities at hand. Altseason will come though but no one knows when.
877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trade makes me poor on: July 27, 2019, 04:49:00 PM
For you to make that statement means you have been dealt with, sorry about that but I think will do you more good if you take a break and seek someone who will teach you properly. Trading requires a vast experience not something that is taken for granted as it all involves money. So seek for someone to teach, learn then try again.
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Think Tron will overcome this FUDS on: July 27, 2019, 04:46:47 PM
Almost every coin in the space has once in a while being badmouthed by people, but what will make the coin scale through is what it offers. I once read a post where someone called ETH a scam coin but that was 2017 but today we have seen the potential within ETH. So I think when people starts seeing more of TRON possiblities they will go back on their words because Tron is one of the good coins.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD FOR BINANCE IEO on: July 26, 2019, 03:39:04 PM
Actually it hard to predict, owing to their last IEO where users bought BNB and wasn't able to get a slot and then lost as BNB dropped in value I can hardly say more projects will be successful as the previous ones. Also, from the look of things it is now see as a means to get quick cash not minding if the project is worth it or not, thus a day might come when none will be able to participate again unless there is more improvement.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum SCAM? on: July 26, 2019, 03:34:57 PM
When I saw the title of the post I laughed hard then I checked the date it was posted then remain calm. If Ethereum is indeed scam why are upcoming projects still launching on its blockchain? In fact Ethereum has help many projects to gain attention by making launching easy for them etc. Ethereum is no scam and one of the best coins in this space thus the reason it's no 2.
