861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for newbies on: December 08, 2023, 01:47:01 PM
Hello everyone, as you can see I'm new here, I'm looking for recommendations for a game to bet some money that I don't mind losing, I would like recommendations and if possible a recommendation for somewhere that teaches how to play. Thank you very much. Grin
I recommend my earlier favorite Mine and Crash games majority of casinos have in their dashboard, you just have to pick the right casino to play if you want tutorials on how these two games are being played you check these on YouTube, just be sure that you are probably guided and you have a strong mindset so as not to fall to addiction, newbies are prone to addiction because of the excitement and most of the time the money that they've won earlier.

I can recommend Stake.com not because I'm promoting it but more of the simplicity of their interface, support is great and of course, they have a very good reputation, everything you're looking for in a casino is here.
862  Economy / Reputation / Re: After Sinbad, which mixer is Next To Be Shutdown? on: December 08, 2023, 01:06:23 PM
As far as I know, there is no mixer targeted on individual level. Usually a good indicator of which mixer is going to be shutdown next, is to read articles. If there is an article about particular mixer, i.e. money was laundered through X mixer, then X mixer will be the next to be shutdown. There were articles about Chipmixer and it got shutdown, then there were articles about Sinbad and it got shutdown too. At the moment, Financial Crimes Enforcement Network tries to label bitcoin mixers as a primary money laundering concern, i.e. it will be absolutely illegal for any crypto mixer to exist and it will also be illegal to mix your coins.

Mark my words, we will see an article about particular bitcoin mixer and that mixer will be the next to be shutdown! At the moment there are safe (I know it's still bold to say).

I agree there will be a leak on the news before the takedown, all mixers right now are suspects until the money launderers choose them to be their next mixing sites, and unless the mixer has parameters to prevent hackers and money launderers from using their platforms, the mixers will continue to exist because there is a market for their service they just have to set up parameters to protect their platforms from money launderers, I don't know how are they going to do that, but they should come out with an idea to avoid being targeted by the authorities.
Bitcoin mixing is not illegal or not yet but it's one of the businesses that is high risk, only the future will tell if they will continue to exist, maybe when there is no more high-profile hacking or scamming.
863  Economy / Services / Re: ShitCoin Marketing on: December 08, 2023, 12:47:30 AM
This is now the state of altcoin, shitcoin take the spotlight because there's hardly a good coin to promote and the investors are promoters are hungry for more coins to invest in and promote, so there's no difference if you're promoting a good coin or a shitcoin as long as you satisfy the needs of the market.
So we have trending coins, NFT, and meme coins that bring nothing to the community.

But the community is getting used to it, they can make money from these shitcoins, and the altcoins era will not die because shitcoins are getting a lot of support,
I pity new investors because they are the willing victims of these shitcoin and OP is partly to blame for this.
864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos and gamblers are struggling with high tx fees.? on: December 07, 2023, 11:06:54 PM
Easiest answer is: they convert to other coins that doesn't have as much fees as bitcoin in current times. This is the only solution that I see is viable for people and gambling platforms to continue transacting without shouldering the cost that each transaction entails. Also, you could be right that they are offsetting the overall expenses they are incurring with the fees with something else, such as other profit funnels that they have established.

That's what many of us are doing unless you are ok with the fees and want to use Bitcoin, but the best option is using Tron for example and if you won you can withdraw then trade it to Bitcoin, the high transaction fees may have an impact on casinos' operation as many will likely stop from playing until such time that the congestion eases up when it comes to withdrawals some casinos are shouldering additional fees for their members' withdrawals and prefer not to increase what they usually deducted to players when withdrawing, casinos who are doing this are big casinos like Stake.
There are advantages for players when transaction fees are high to play at big casinos that agree to shoulder part of transaction fees.
865  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Invitation to Collaborate on a Breakthrough Project on: December 07, 2023, 03:57:22 PM

or, because you are an employee in the health sector, you should be able to ask for help from the clients you are helping or your network to support your project. i think people in this field are generally rich and maybe you can get thousands of dollars from scamming them.

We are not sure if he is working in the health sector, we are not sure if this is a copy-paste post and we are not sure if this guy name is Michael but we are all sure this is a scam attempt from an outsider who thinks that it's easy to make money here by just asking, he is already tagged by VOD for asking money and this is the end of his journey here.

This is not the first time I have seen a thread like this we already have hundreds of this coming from newly opened accounts, although this one is innovative it's still a scam attempt, we all know about this attempt I'm just surprised that many people have the impressions that its easy to make money here by asking or should I say begging.

866  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is forum reputation enough to influence mixers? on: December 07, 2023, 03:20:53 PM
Since mixers will be soon be rejected on the forum due to the heat they are bringing from the government, do you think that the reputation of the forum and the rejection of these mixers from the forum will be enough to force them to change the way they mix their coins?

Is the forum that powerful to change the business model of any business I don't think so, mixers will always be mixers, casinos will always be casinos and exchange will always be exchange, and only the regulators can change the business model of a platform but never a forum, I don't think we have one case that it happens.
They still have the search engine and darknet for these mixers.

Bitcointalk is just one and not the only one where platforms can advertise their platform the internet is so huge that platforms can meet potential clients, and many people are still not aware of Bitcointalk, even though they are Bitcoin investors.
867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you deal with high transaction fee on BTC on gambling? on: December 07, 2023, 02:52:14 PM
I think everyone noticed,  how high the current fee is right now on the Bitcoin network. I’m sure a player like me who relies only on signature campaign payment in Bitcoin is having a hard time playing right now since the fee is insanely high.

I never use Bitcoin when playing when my transaction will incur huge fees it's not economical I'm using Tron and Dogecoin this is one of the reasons why casino accepts altcoins in case there is heavy congestion in the Bitcoin blockchain, some gamblers who prefer to play on Bitcoin prefer to just wait for the traffic to decongest.
I think every time there is heavy congestion in the blockchain there is a significant drop in gamblers' activity, I have friends who prefer to wait it out before depositing, they are not comfortable playing with altcoins even though the fee is very low.

But who knows in the future casinos will employ internal exchanges where you can deposit altcoins and convert them it Bitcoin so you can play with Bitcoin, there could be a big demand for this if there is always traffic in the blockchain.
868  Economy / Gambling / Re: Win tron bets are secured up 70% win tron everyday on: December 07, 2023, 01:46:05 PM

This is a scam guys. Please avoid.

It is 100% scam they can easily take down the group or do an exit scam when they receive huge funds I don't like Telegram channels or groups because the admins of the groups can easily mute or kick you out of the group if you file a complaint, there's no game or format you just send money you deserve to have a red tag for promoting a Ponzi scheme here.
This is not even a gambling platform, we all know what a gambling platform looks like we all know Telegram is the hub of scammers I just can't believe that OP has the nerve to promote a Ponzi and a potential scam here.
869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will you say within your limits to encourage responsible gambling? on: December 07, 2023, 12:34:36 PM
If you work as a staff member in a physical casino as a dealer or in a sports bookie, I know that there are subtle ways you can use to encourage responsible gambling that will not go against the terms and conditions for staff.

For example, suppose you encounter a gambler who has wagered $200 at the table and is currently winning $6k. Would you express to them, "Hey, you're up $6k, and you initially entered this table with $200. Walk away, Take your winnings, go!" or will you say, "It is very admirable to know when to stop"?

What will you say within your limits to encourage responsible gambling?

You'll get fired by your managers for doing that, it's not your business to tell the players what to do how to behave, and what to do with their money it's their money, and whatever reason they are in the casino it is none of your business, you are a misinformed staff if you do that to a player.

The staff's work is to serve the players and not to give advice on what to do and in case a player comes to you to ask for advice it is unethical to give him a piece of advice, your casino is the one paying you your salary and if you shut out gamblers then you don't deserve your salary.

I have never encountered this while playing in a casino the players can complain to the management of harassment if you give them advice on what to do with their money, you should act like a staff and not as an adviser.
870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Behavioral Change!!! on: December 07, 2023, 10:18:57 AM
It depends on your behavior and your mindset on gambling if you're looking to profit from gambling then whenever you lose you will be upset and every time you win your behavior is very jolly, so your result will set up the moods for the entire day or night and this will have a very bad impact with your relationships with your family and your office mate that will result in a strained relationship and in the end will have a psychological impact on your character.

This is not good if you continue doing this, you will eventually lose your job and a broken family, if it turns worse your wife will eventually divorce you, these are the signs that gamblers should avoid and this is the result of treating gambling as a way to make money, but if you treat gambling as a form of entertainment you will have a good relationship with your family and your co-worker, so don't treat gambling as a source of income and it will do you good.
871  Other / Meta / Re: [Question] What Areas are lacking in the forum? on: December 06, 2023, 04:28:29 PM
There are too many old high-ranking users with enormous powers on the forum who do not fulfill their duties and do not give a growth to newbies
That's not true if high rankings members do not give newbies a space to grow then we will not see many members ranking up, you just need to go to the beginners and help section to see that high-ranking members are guiding newbies and giving them advice, you just have to prove that you deserve the trust and support that members are giving newbies, because we have so many newbies coming here as spammers.

If you think that you deserve our support then contribute and don't spam, these go out to all newbies.
872  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: December 06, 2023, 02:52:57 PM
This thread is getting a lot of support and discussions is ongoing at least OP should give us an update on how things are going I remember you sent me a message about linking up with casinos so how is it are you successful linking up and are you getting positive response from the casinos that you asked to link up, Bitcointalk community is all out in support of your cause.
I hope you get all the support from the majority of the casinos so you can support those who require help with gambling addiction, keep us updated for any developments.
873  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777 will not pay anyone for the last week /Sinbad campaign/ on: December 06, 2023, 01:23:13 PM

I do not think a ban on Bitcoin mixer would make any difference to the forum. What I felt after reading a lot of discussion that the forum has led down the community and those part of mixer campaign are not at all happy with the decision.

I believe that the forum gained a lot of activity because of the Mixer campaign, with a good pay rate you will have good motivation to be in a healthy conversation, but Theymos has to do what he has to do even though it hurts many members who are considered good contributors on this forum.
After January 1 we will only see casinos and a few other platforms but casinos will rule the forum in terms of signature campaign.
But I'm sure Theymos is reading all of the members' opinions and we will see if there is a change of heart, it's not over until it's over until Theymos post that he will not change his mind.

874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk - February 2024 in Saudi Arabia on: December 06, 2023, 01:01:49 AM
Former Heavyweight Champion, Deontay Wilder recently shared his thoughts on this fight -

https://www.dazn.com/en-GB/news/boxing/tyson-fury-vs-oleksandr-usyk-deontay-wilder-makes-fight-prediction/a85k15wb80rp1odd2jhlbkkp7

“It's a 50-50 fight, anything can happen. People look at Fury's size as a major advantage but that doesn't necessarily mean nothing because Usyk can stay low to the ground and because Fury's so tall it's going to be difficult to reach down”

“If Usyk can get in and out real fast, I feel speed could be a major factor. For me it's 50-50 and I'm glad it's finally happening so we get all the belts in one place”

Wilder is saying it's a 50:50 fight and yet seems to provide reasons why Usyk could be at an advantage here. He couldn't seem to just set it straight, that the man who humiliated him not once, not twice, but thrice would probably defeat Usyk and that's a huge blow to his wish to become an undisputed champion himself.

How could Usyk staying low to the ground be an advantage for him? If Tyson was able to put his weight on a 6'7" opponent, would it be a lot easier for him to do that to a 6'3" fighter?

But Ngannou can be considered an amateur in boxing it was his first boxing match when he fought Fury and yet he put down and almost beat Fury what more for a guy who is a two-time World champion, we all thought it was a walk-in park for Fury when he fought Ngannou but Ngannou prove us wrong, I say its 50/50 for me based on both fighters last fight.

Usyk performed better than Fury in their last fight and if the fight is not moved, Fury is in big trouble, right now Fury is in the healing process of trying to get back his confidence because it is no joke being knocked down and almost beaten by a guy who just took up boxing recently.
875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos after the shutdowns of mixers on: December 05, 2023, 03:41:19 PM

Many said that Mixer users are not all criminal, but honestly there is no way to know if they are or they are not, because nothing is opened to the public when it comes to mixers, it's why the government are pissed with mixers and believe that it's a good place for moving illegal funds for illegal activities, mixer isn't made for someone like me, as I don't see why I will want to hide my transaction, when the money isn't dirty money.

Mixers do not pay taxes, no license even though they are dealing with money so it is an unregulated industry, and since it unregulated it's free for all good users and bad actors like hackers and scammers can avail of their service, and the authorities will shut any mixers that deals with scammers and mixers cannot do anything about it since they have no parameters to make their platform safe from bad actors.
And I don't think mixers will ask for KYC from their clients.
If one mixer changes their terms and asks for KYC to keep their platform safe, I don't think all the other mixers will follow their lead, they are going to lose clients who want to anonymize their transactions.
876  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 100$ scam in Binane 3rd part services on: December 05, 2023, 03:18:20 PM

What hurts is that Binance is allowing and promoting such services, I had a chat on their Binance official Telegram channel and they blamed me for trusting this service which themselves are announced inside marketplace.
What I can do now is waiting, true! 100$ isn't a huge amount to destroy their reputation and get kicked off Binance marketplace.

Can you post a screenshot of that chat, this is not good anything that is on their marketplace or their platform partake their reputation and users expect that they do screening of this third party services, does this mean that Binance users are risking themselves on the third party service that are on their marketplace.
Its good that you opened this thread so people will be aware on not to to easily trust third party on Binance marketplace ,there's also a possibility that this is happening or have happened to other users .

26M tokens added to rainbot best of luck bitvesters!

Bitvest is doing great Lighlord actively posting stuff like this and has an active signature that is expected to be going to be longer than the previous campaign, the signature campaign comes at the right time, just when the mixer campaigns are not allowed to come January 1.
I'm sure the 777coin will relaunch because of the success of Bitvest relaunch.
2023 is a great year for Lightlord his other project is doing good Eloncoin, if 777coin is relaunch he'll have three projects here what a comeback for Lighlord.
878  Economy / Gambling / Re: are bookies fortunejack.com & rollbit.com trustworthy with larger amounts ? on: December 05, 2023, 11:02:17 AM

I will prefer Stake.com. After the hack of over $40 million, the gambling site is still not shaked but sturdy.

I do not know how rich you are, but I think I should say that you should gamble responsibly.

I'll back up your recommendation the $40 million can make small or medium-level casinos shake up their operation, but Stake.com because of being the number one
managed to protect its reputation and its standing in the industry, when playing with a huge amount of money the choice will always be on the top casinos in the industry, Fortunejack is also one of the biggest casinos in the industry but Stake can guarantee your funds, and besides Stake has been one of the favorites of celebrities to bet like Drake, and they have sponsors some of the biggest sporting events/
You will have a peace of mind if you chose Stake.
879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Include Or Always Include Gambling In Your New Year's Resolution on: December 05, 2023, 09:04:13 AM
I opened this thread because a friend keeps including his gambling addiction in his New Year's resolution but unfortunately, nothing happened he just forgot his resolution about gambling so he ended up forgetting his gambling resolution.

Like many of us, we should not include gambling in our New Year resolution, and we should make changes the moment we realize that gambling is already harming us, we should ask for professional help even if we realize it in the middle of the year, we should not wait and procrastinate we should take action right away and do not have to be time-specific when it comes to gambling.
880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Do You Include Or Always Include Gambling In Your New Year's Resolution on: December 04, 2023, 03:04:00 PM
Only 4 weeks before we welcome a new year and new year for many is the best time to promise changes in their behavior, career, and habits, and many gamblers take the New Year as an opportunity to try to change something in their behavior or lifestyle and they do it through New Year resolution.

My question do you include gambling in your new resolution, and what's your New Year's resolution about gambling?

Let's talk about it.
