I'm testing a patch which will allow RPC calls without EP on the amounts.
But, we need to keep in mind why Catia did that in the first place.
The reason is that, on cryptonite, the amounts are unsigned 64 bits, while on bitcoin and most other altcoins, they are internally represented as signed 64 bits.
The "EP" was meant to sound an alarm bell on whoever is using the RPC calls (an exchange, for example) that he must be careful how he deals with that amount. Everyone is used to bitcoin, after all.
With small and round amounts there will be no difference, but big amounts may overflow and amounts with up to the last decimal digit may not match.
which option did you choose?
1 or 2 ?

Currently there is a new command line option: "-epamounts". If set to 0, it will use classic format.

For a couple of months I have been watching the following picture.
As soon as the complexity of the network falls below 100,000, Mr. 5-10 GH immediately comes and raises the complexity of the day above 300,000.
Further, the complexity slowly again in 4-6 days to 100,000. And again Mr. 5-10 GH come here. In general, do not give to mine properly!  Grin

That happens on many coins; and we are not even on any multipool! :-D

All memory-easy algos will end this way ))

wrong, Small memory easy algos could be included in dual miners. I am working on a cryptonight dual miner.
Claymore is in the mud, to time to give him some competition.

well, if that algo is mined by asics I wouldn't bother making a dual miner.

P.S. I'm in love with your genesis sentence

It's a sentence by O' Sensei, Morihei Ueshiba.
Quite a thinker if you ask me.

About the exchanges anybody knows what are the prices to get in?

I heard some are quite expensive, some take an hell of a lot of time to get in, others are just incredibly expensive and take very long time too.

Etherdelta its quite easy but i don't know if its a good idea to start in there, it's quite difficult to use and potentially unsafe.

All this medium small exchanges like cryptopia, liqui are that difficult to get in as well? Did i miss any of them?

Coinexchange or Nova maybe?

Etherdelta is difficult to use at first, I agree, but I actually think it's incredibly safe (once you know how to use it, that is)

Nova: no, it's closing.

Anyone with a bit of knowledge about reddit wants to open a page there? We might need it soon, for some exchanges.

Yeah, keep going, no matter how many questions are answered - you keep ignoring it and repeat yourself, coming up with more gibberish.
You want to see team identities and wallets? How about you post yours here for the public so that everyone can see who you are?

And the fact that you continue to blabber that LUXCoin doesn't bring novelty makes me understand how much you know about a coin's tech.
Probably a good tactic for you to buy lower and accumulate more.

Oh my.. your posts are going cheaper day by day. First time seeing dev needs community identity before showing his own. Thats was epic! Real... REAL Innovations here! lol

Good troll bumper. Keep it going.

Has the option to set vardiff via password field on miners been completely removed? It seems d= ... has no affect on my miners anymore =(

It does not depend on the miner, but on the pool.

Novaexchange market added to coinmarketcap.

Speaking of good coins that don't do well...

True, SJCX has been relatively bad this year, 15x peaks against usd is nothing compared to other alts, only BTC is worse. Medium term, my average buy is 4319 sat so I'm not worried.

And as I mentioned before it doesn't matter what coin I talk about, it's all subjective and you can bend that to whatever ludicrous truth you want. Also you != coin.

Lux price is meh, it's the equivelant of mining Equihash and has been for awhile, maybe a bit worse. The difficulty dropped after it was listed as people were mining for less then Equihash.

Actually it's higher now than ever. 6000 and more.

Price is starting to heat up on novaexchange, maybe we can make the 10k $ volume to add the nova exchange to coinmarketcap.com for a big publicity. Aslo I wonder why don't you guys start a marketing campaign with signature, facebook, twitter, blog stuff to start moving this project up...

The plan is first to fix the exchanges, then start serious promotion. That should bring the best results.
Next week I will be working on the wallet about the extended precision issue.

All my readers are apart of something great. The birth of cryptocurrency and privacy.
Some of you have been on bitcointalk.org for a long time. It's your job..
There are many Crypto-millionaires here.
If you still don't understand how to get rich, you might wanna quit your job and do something else.

Yobit didn't say it explicitly, but it's clear that they won't list XCN.
Luckly, we can have our 0.1 BTC back.
What to do with it?

1) buy XCN and put into the fund; price rises
2) keep for future exchange listings, or any other service we may need

I'd say 1).

Please guys make your choice. Currently 1 for 1 and 1 for 2.

AND

please also speak about how to deal with EP amounts.

1) add fields on rpc responses, autodetect on rpc requests
2) add config option and/or commandline option to switch from EP to DP (classic bitcoin amounts)

Thanks!

1)
because current xcn price is very low, and when we need funds for exchange listing or any other service maybe we can sell them at higher price.
EP amounts, i do not know, i leave it to pallas to decide.
What price will rise? There is 0.2BTC sell order at 21sat. That is the "wall". Next stop 1satoshi.

Last time I checked, we would have gotten up to 50sat with just 0.1 btc.

I've already seen some similar ICO, why are you different?

This is not an "ico". This is an innovative Altcoin from 2014.

I would add some low ball bids to novaexchange. About EP, whatever makes it easier for exchanges to add it and doesn't brake anything, is that even possible haha?

Both options are backward compatible.

Bter is shutting down and bx.in.th is rather tricky to use and register. No other exchanges are currently available?

Novaexchange

If people are still asking where they can trade XCN because they don't know about NovaExchange, perhaps the reference to Nova should be enlarged/enhanced/highlighted in the OP.

Especially as this question was asked just five posts after you specifically mentioned Nova!! Roll Eyes

Also, best to remove BTER and BTC38 altogether at this point.

True. I'm cleaning it a bit right now.
