881  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Flag] Organized Ethnic Hatred against the Turkish Section, ~Timelord2067 on: September 04, 2019, 04:26:05 PM
There is no "organised ethnic hatred" going on. We have nothing against Turks; we hate all trust abusers equally regardless of ethnicity. And we're not even organised: I discovered your trust abuse completely independently of Timelord2067. Are you going to insist there's an innocent explanation for the "irregularities" in your trust lists?

I think fucking Hitler is a wholly inappropriate use of time travel, and I find it hard to believe the admins would do such a thing.
885  Economy / Reputation / Re: What should i do? on: August 29, 2019, 07:57:55 AM
I WAS OFFERING MY SERVICE IN ADVANCE!!!
IN ADVANCE FOR A TIP IF YOU LIKE IT.
Such an arrangement is more commonly known as a "pay-what-you-want commission" and is indeed considered a sale.

SO FUCKING TELL ME HOW COULD I SCAM SOMEONE?Huh
HOWWW?
I can think of a few different methods, most of which boil down to getting someone to pay a "tip" for something that is not as advertised. I may not know what your scam is, but I do know you're not a professional artist.

It is the same as i would call you pedofile because i think so.
Or a professional anything, for that matter. You really ought to change your attitude if you want anyone to ever take you seriously again.
886  Economy / Reputation / Re: What should i do? on: August 29, 2019, 07:35:31 AM
Whats this, red tagged detectives club?
Lucky for you, that's all this is. The type of intellectual dishonesty you're demonstrating is not looked upon well in the art world, to put it mildly. Keep stealing other artists' work, and you'll get the Guild after you.
887  Economy / Reputation / Re: What should i do? on: August 29, 2019, 07:17:41 AM
As an actual on-again off-again artist, I think I should chip in and say that no artist would ever present another's work to advertise his own as StackItUp has done. Copyright issues aside, such a method of advertising makes no sense. Unless the artist is extremely good at imitating the other's unique style (which I seriously doubt is the case here), such a deception will be detected immediately when the buyer sees that the art he purchased is not what was advertised. Nor is there any need for such deception, as every artist hoping to sell commissions will have an extensive portfolio of their own work. I don't believe StackItUp's excuse that he is prevented from publishing any of his previous works. Certainly there are cases where the artist gives up publication rights to some of his works, but not all of them. He'd have something to show to prospective clients or he'd never be able to get those jobs in the first place.

An artist's portfolio is his résumé, his CV. Would you hire, or even believe, a prospective employee who had no résumé whatsoever and claims he cannot tell you about any of his previous work because of "privacy"? Or worse, one who outright lies on his résumé and, when caught, claims he cannot reveal his true work history and that the lies are just "examples"? I think not.

Doesn't one have to prove something exists and the person who wins the settlement has been deprived of it to be able to award something?
Only if that fact is actually disputed by one side or the other. Protip: if you're being sued for vast sums of money you don't have, you should probably admit that you don't have the money at some point during the trial. Otherwise you may find yourself having to do so at the bankruptcy hearing which is no doubt in your future. Grin
890  Other / Meta / Re: [Updated August 24] LoyceV's Trust list viewer - Create your own Trust list! on: August 27, 2019, 09:28:00 AM
I can't help but notice my Trust list viewer creates some drama and retaliation on local boards and in Reputation.
No, that drama is simply the result of (alleged) trust abuse; your trust list viewer merely makes such allegations easier to back up (and to find new scapegoats now that Lauda's no longer DT1).
891  Other / Meta / Re: Stats question - Females in Bitcointalk? on: August 25, 2019, 03:43:43 PM
First of all, the correct word is "women". I don't know if English is your native language, but you should note that "female" is most commonly used as an adjective, not a noun, and in English it is generally impolite to refer to people with a bare adjective.

Second, many prominent members (myself included) have a tendency to provoke confusion in others concerning their gender(s). Lauda's gender, for example, is known with certainty by only 3 people, and they all disagree on what it is. So don't put too much faith in the accuracy of anyone's claims. Smiley
892  Economy / Reputation / Re: Been out for a week, must have missed some drama - who the fuck is ekiller? on: August 23, 2019, 07:15:21 AM
Maybe you know me... At least I thought so. Because you gave me merit.
Sorry, but we merit way too many people to get to know all of them. Don't believe rumours to the contrary.
893  Other / Meta / Re: [UNBAN APPEAL] account Aleczar on: August 23, 2019, 04:33:53 AM
I came here not to communicate with you, but to do my job.
Then you came to the wrong place. This is a forum, not a workplace (it says so right in the name). Its only legitimate purpose is to communicate with people, not to do "jobs". Go away.

Pretty sure it's first by merit awarded for that post (obviously), then by activity.

As I recall, he was involved in some sort of trust abuse scandal in one of the local sections with Lydian and their alts (if they're not alts of each other), but that was a while ago and I forget the details. (Sorry, I've got so many people on my distrust list; you can't expect me to remember every little thing.)

I didn't get a PM, though. Nobody cares enough about me to send me threats. Cry

I'm back, bitches. Anything happen while I was gone?

Apparently Suchmoon in using tmans head as a space-hopper at laudas party (due to the sybian saddle being abused and broken by vod before suchmoobs turn) has caused some fixation/obsession with odorous  female genitalia.
Oh. I'm sorry I missed it. Don't worry, next time I'll bring something extra special for everyone to obsess over. Wink
