883  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Will Bitcoin will be declare as legal or not ? on: March 23, 2018, 11:35:10 PM
Bitcoin can become legal in the future by majority of the countries around the world and India will eventually allow bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies with its own kind of regulation and taxation. But it still depends on the outcome of the G20 summit on cryptocurrencies that held in Brazil. In that meeting, some members resisted call to discuss regulating cryptocurrencies at the conferences because they need to examine the digital coins further before any regulaltion could be proposed. The G20 members will meet again in July this year to give their recommendations on globally regulating the cryptocurrencies.
884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Media is negative about Bitcoin? on: March 23, 2018, 11:07:13 PM
Not all media report negatively for bitcoin and it is also depend on their sources of information. Some media or press reports whatever information they get without fully examining or verifying their sources of information especially the sensational ones that will attract many readers or viewers. The stiff competition in media particularly in online news is one of the reasons why there is always a negative reports because it can attracts more attention than the good news. And the more viewers/readers they attracts, the more sponsors they get because sponsors like ads is the source of their income.

886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you support the Use of Bitcoin as a National Currency? on: March 23, 2018, 02:14:01 AM
Not sure, they must show valid reasons first why bitcoin can become a national currency someday. Many would reason out that bitcoin is decentralized, tax-free, easy to transfer, no need for intermediary and others. But there are also some disadvantages on using bitcoin as national currency like its high volatility that cause it price to fluctuate rapidly, the price may rise and fall drastically and might cause confusion among the users and there is also a possibility of massive hacking. These and many other possible problems in the future have to be solve first before using bitcoin as a national currency.
887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Die Because of China? on: March 23, 2018, 01:38:52 AM
China can only affect or influence the price of the bitcoin temporarily but it can't stop or obliterates the bitcoin from  the cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin will surely face a lot of challenges in the days ahead but as long as the majority of the investors and users support it, there is no reason for the leading cryptocurrency to cease from its existence. China's restriction in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies might also temporary and the officials that imposed the ban might eventually allow virtual currencies and exchanges in the future.
888  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the major factors that affect the bitcoin price? on: March 22, 2018, 01:24:10 PM
Aside from the already mentioned factors that affect bitcoin price, another one is the market manipulations where traders or the so called whales purchase large amount of bitcoin to pump the market temporarily then dump them later. Technological changes and innovations can also influence the market of bitcoin like its recent hardforks. The stability of bitcoin network and the wider mainstream acceptance can also moves the price of the bitcoin.
889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: March 22, 2018, 06:33:04 AM
Not all cryptocurrencies are made for legitimate purposes, some are just made to make money and scam investors and users. Many of them will not survive the stiff competition and will simply vanish out of the crypto world. Some cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, ethereum, ripple, and other promising coins have been proven for their profitability by many investors. Try to learn more of these well known cryptocurrencies before investing on them.
890  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Signature Campaigns taxes on: March 22, 2018, 06:02:55 AM
I think only bitcoin transaction are taxable and it still depends on a country you are residing. In US, almost every bitcoin transactions, mining, spending, trading and exchanging is taxable by Internal Revenue Service. Bitcoin gained from signature campaigns is not taxable unless there is law or regulation requiring every participant in the campaign to pay tax.
891  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Countries with weak economies can use cryptocurrency instead the dollars. on: March 21, 2018, 03:52:27 AM
There is a big possibility that bitcoin or any cryptocurency can provide the need for alternative money in many developing countries by using some kind of a mobile payment system that enables people to transact. The idea of cryptocurrency providing opportunities in countries with weak economies is already taking place in some impoverished nations like Venezuela and Zimbabwe. These nations with weak economies had already turned their attention to bitcoin for an innovative solution of payment.
892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not invest in bitcoin if you don't know anything about it on: March 21, 2018, 03:23:54 AM
Investing in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies needs preparation like educating yourself on how the cryptocurrency works and learn also on how to manage risks and your emotions. Many investors , particularly the beginners has the tendency to panic when the price is falling down. If that kind of emotion remain uncontrolled, it will lead to panic selling which can also result to more losses in the future. Any newbie who want to invest in cryptocurrencies should first gather enough information on cryptocurrencies and always make his/her own research before joining in any kind of ICO,
893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum below $600 on: March 20, 2018, 07:07:54 AM
Ethereum price is still down by $540 level as of this moment and according to some crypto analysts, it may slide down further below $500 before bouncing back. This price down fall is not unusual because it's in the nature of cryptocurrency. Volatility causes rapid fluctuation in the prices of cryptocurrencies but it will eventually recover in due time. This is also right time to buy some ethereum as its price is now getting cheaper than before. Many investors and holders are also looking for this opportunity to buy more ethereum because they believe on its growth potential for both short and long term.
894  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: March 20, 2018, 05:37:00 AM
When a KYC is required in every ICO  or cryptocurrency exchanges, I'd rather make a thorough research first before applying or joining. The aim of this account verification process or known as KYC, Know Your Customer, is to prevent fraud, theft, terrorist financing and money laundering. Companies and the owner of the ICOs want to ensure that their clients are not involved in any kind of illegal activities that uses cryptocurrencies or money.
895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Ripple on: March 20, 2018, 03:15:29 AM
Ripple is still a better choice for investment despite of being a centralized cryptocurrency and geared mostly for the banks because it is a kind of technology that created for banks to enable faster payments and lower cost. Ripple is expected to duplicate its growth last 2017 as being one of the best performing cryptocurrency. Some large banks and other businesses like American Express are already partnered with ripple for a faster payment system.
896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH a Scam ? on: March 20, 2018, 02:47:36 AM
The second ranked coin next to bitcoin will never be a scam because it one of the best developed cryptocurrency. This cryptocurrency is also a kind of decentralized platform that runs smart contract which is an application that runs exactly as programmed without any possibility of downtime, censorship, fraud or third party interference. Before you brand ethereum as a scam, it's better to fully educate yourself first on how the cryptocurrency is made and how it works.
897  Economy / Economics / Re: Many new rich people are created from Bitcoin on: March 19, 2018, 08:44:59 AM
Yeah, its true. Bitcoin is making its investors millionaires. There are already some that benefited from the rise of the market value of bitcoin. We still expect that there will be an addition to that list by next year.

The people who become millionaires are the one that invested some big amount of their fortunes during the early years of bitcoin and held it for many year until the price reached some all-time highs. Those who invested recently might already wealthy people that trying their luck also in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies but if they are beginners they might suffer some losses before eventually earning some profits.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much blood in the streets; The best way forward on: March 19, 2018, 08:08:06 AM
The market are more bloodier in the past but it always managed to rise up as soon as the bloodbath in the cryptocurrencies is over. In this kind of situation, hodling is still the best way to generate income for long term. Be sure to choose coins that are solid, stable and has shown the ability to bounce back from any market dips. It is also good to shop on some promising coins during red days because they are a lot cheaper then hold them til their price is up.
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what exactly are we waiting for? on: March 19, 2018, 07:46:04 AM
Great question for all you cryptocurrency believers. What is going to drive the price of bitcoin up and all the altcoins? What exactly are we waiting for? Money doesnt just come out of thin air. What exactly is the catalyst? Again the question is, what exactly are we waiting for?

There are some factors to be considered before the price of the bitcoin go up and turn into another bullrun, positive news like the one coming from the ongoing G20 summit for cryptocurrencies which stated that there will be no regulation and that virtual currencies are not a pressing issue. This positive statements had caused some cryptocurrecies to rise up particularly bitcoin and ethereum. The good developments are what investors have been waiting for but some of them might also cautious because the outcome of the event is yet to be known.
900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 88% of Japanese have heard of bitcoin -- how about your country? -- on: March 19, 2018, 07:24:46 AM
It is been called the bitcoin capital of Asia, Japan continuously making advancement in bitcoin investment and many of the Japanese people knew bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies very well. Other countries, particularly in Asia, might also take Japan as a  role model in managing their own crytpcurrency exchanges. In my own country, majority of the bitcoin users are young and almost all of them used social media to to get the latest update on virtual currencies. Sad to say, only a minority knew about bitcoin if you compare it to other countries like Japan.
