881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: June 24, 2023, 07:39:09 AM
As a morally upright person that does not like to cheat people, but gambles and has lost a lot of money to gambling in a casino where you have sometimes been cheated even without your knowledge or betting on sports, will you take an opportunity you get and go against your moral standards to cheat a casino or sportsbetting place, just so you can win big at least even once.

Will you try a trick to win on casino game machines if you were told and it is a 100% working trick to cash out? Will you bet on fixed games if you get the tip early?
There is nothing like tricking there system to win in gambling it's rather a strategy that would guarantee consistent winning, however if there is a loophole or some bugs on their system of the casino or gambling site I won't capitalize on that to cheat and win provided that the casino or the gambling site had been very credible and honest in their past deals with me i.e I have never been cheated by them,  however If I had been shortchanged or cheated in the past I will also revenge that act because it is tit for tat, "though honesty is the best policy" however there are certain conditions that is not applicable such as the above situation.
882  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Food dragging at events on: June 24, 2023, 07:27:38 AM
Anywhere you go and see people dragging for food is not an avenue to laungh at them but rather a challenge to help them because they are in hunger, if you look into the society today and see that rate people are stealing and was oppotuned to ask one or two people the reason that led them to doing such act, they will respond to you that it's hunger and nothing more, frustration in huger will lead to desperation for looking for a survival means, an average citizens must at least in a day have access to good food and clean water, but everyone was left on his own to find a survival means both the good and the bad means, those that can't steal are the ones found in this category of begging for food in ceremonial events.
This one na confirmed truth you talk here Sapa dey for ground na almost everywhere, for my area here as today bi Saturday wey ceremonial events plenty some people go dey move from place to another to search for where ceremony dey, infact na well dressed people oh there aim na to collect take away and most of this event food no reach because people wey the no invite plenty pass the food self, if person dey see three square meal chop daily make that person dey thank God because things don hard  for this country now wey tinubu don remove subsidy inflation go rise, in fact I read a news wey them say government workers don dey sleep for office because of high transportation cost.

Chelsea are heading to a place that I don't want them to go at all in this transfer window, is as if they're just going for the money than the players who would make the club come back to those glorious days. I just wish after letting some of these players go, that they'd get back there replacement and start working on how to get the team together.
As the whole drama is going on at Chelsea I feel is the owner who's pulling the strings and is not helping the coach at all, let the current manager to do his thing and let Todd do the prayer for positive results, that's all he needs to do. To me I feel Pochettino will do something better than his predecessors.
I feel the players leaving aren’t feeling comfortable in Chelsea anymore. They’ve been been showing reluctance to signing a new contract if they were to stay at Chelsea. So it’s better to cash in on them now than allow them run their contract down and leave for free. So I guess the Chelsea want to take a financial hit on all the players heading for the exit. But the overriding priority is clearing the decks and the first batch of outgoings will help them meet that target. They are trying to rebuild with the new set of players. Hopefully they’ll find a balance and complete for titles very soon.
Personally I think it's better Chelsea some of those players to leave and play elsewhere some of those players wanted to play UCL league while other players left because the juicy offers from oil rich Saudi Arabian clubs, however I think Pochettino must have been brief on the current situation of the club and he must had been aware of the players he wanted to work with in the club, the likes of Mason Mount will not be allow to leave despite Man Utd intention or bid to sign him, Tiago is still in the club his wealth of experience will help the young players in the club and other quality players like Enzo, Mudryk, it's up for Pochettino to build his own team with the present squad and his new signings.
884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between futures trading and gambling on: June 23, 2023, 09:45:34 AM
There are many gamblers that can gamble just to have some fun and make money in the process and there are some that focus on gambling only to make money so I would like to ask such people a question.

would you prefer to gamble in a casino and make some money or learn about futures trading and make some money?

Which one do you actually find to be more easier and I believe that futures trading is also capable of giving someone life-changing money but which one do you believe is less risky than the other?
Earning money consistently is more guaranteed in future trading than gambling, however the rigorous journey to becoming a successful future trader will always discourage newbies who do wanted quick money to get involve in it, future trading is the riskiest form of trading and for a trader to have an edge over the market such a trader must have undergone a thorough learning process of skills and knowledge acquisition required to become profitable trader, this is based on my own personal experience because I had once switch over to future trading and unfortunately I had a sad experience of account liquidation, however with some little knowledge a gambler can have a mixed result i.e losses and wins.

We are very lucky that he rejected the astronomical offers from the Saudi Arabian league and came to the Fenerbahçe team, which I am a fan of. We needed a striker like Dzeko. We could have had serious problems in this region, especially after Valencia, who had a very productive season, left the team, but I'm sure Dzeko will fill it more than enough. Thank you for choosing us over the Saudis Smiley

I am actually surprised that Edin Dzeko has chosen to join Fenerbace Istanbul instead of a club in the saudi league. In the past big players that were already way past their prime either went to a club in the United States or to a turkish club. Now since two or three years, there are also the clubs from Saudi arabia that are trying to get those players to play for them and recently those Saudi clubs were very successful.
They pay a way higher salary than turkish clubs and the sports perspective is also not that great in Turkey.
Turkish league is far more competitive and have wider coverage than Saudi Arabian league probably that is why Edin Dzeko had opted to play for Fenerbace while considering the opportunity of being consider to play for his national team Bosnia-Herzegovina as well as playing UCL next season because his new club came second in the Turkish league last season thus qualify for UCL, thereafter after spending some seasons in the Turkish league if possible switch over to the Saudi though he is already 37 and it is quite difficult to play competitively for three more seasons due to body weakness.
886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 22, 2023, 04:11:03 PM
@shogun47 Gundugan is definitely a City legend and whatever he decides will be respected by the City fan’s and I’m sure that he’ll be welcome back if he decides to join them in any role. Furthermore I feel that he should join Barcelona and further cement his legacy as he’s an incredible player and then after a year or two he should join the Saudi league.

He has had an amazing career and was successful with all the clubs he played for, but his role in Machester City and also all the synergy with the players there, it was so amazing that I would have liked to see him play with all of them for one more year. Such a great midfield for Manchester City and he fit in perfectly. He deserved to play two more successful seasons with the Citizens and maybe even defend the treble. They can do it, but now without Gundogan. I doubt that Barcelona will win a lot in the next season.
Good luck to Gundugan in his new club Barcelona he had a fulfilled career in Man City with 14 trophies to his credit  five Premier League titles, one UCL trophy, two FA Cup trophies, four Carabao trophies and two Community Shields he had indeed serve the club very well Man City fans will surely miss their hardworking and efficient captain, I also like his idea of trying another challenge or adventure elsewhere after winning all the competitive trophies in his former club and fortunately he got a better offer from his new club where his wealth of experience will help the young players to become a better player.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you find it offensive to be referred to as an addicted gambler? on: June 22, 2023, 03:45:54 PM
Many people find it difficult to accept who they are and the bad habits that they have, accepting a habit is the first step that will determine if any help offered to you will work. As a gambler, will you find it offensive if you are referred to as a gambling addict? will you easily accept it or try to give excuses like some other people do, saying that they are not addicted to gambling when the signs are clearly there. Do you think identifying as an addicted gambler will make people stereotype you. The answer is different for every gambler here.
I won't bother to challenge anyone that referred me as an addicted gambler that is if I consistently win most of my bets and as well divert my earnings into other investment which is well known and visible to people in the area, however if it's the other way round that is as an addicted gambler after being bankrupted and rekted then it becomes offensive to me if someone referred me as an addicted gambler probably due to consigns with regard to all the losses will prompt some emotional behavior that mean being aggressive to people who might have feel uncomfortable with my gambling habit.

I don’t understand the Havertz signing, he hasn’t been great for Chelsea so not sure why Arsenal think he’s worth signing. Arsenal need a proper goalscorer, Havertz won’t give them lots of goals. He is not going to be the man to take them to the next level. As a Liverpool fan I am not concerned, then again we have our own problems.
Arteta will bring a different philosophy to the placement of Kai Havertz after officially becoming an Arsenal player. He will be prioritized as a striker, even if he is not a goal scorer, but if the position is very right later at Arsenal, it will take him to a better level with Arteta, because for me Kai Havertz is quite a great player although not the same class as a goalscorer in general.

There is a theory in an article that is still confused about where Arteta will place his position at Arsenal later.
Source: https://theanalyst.com/eu/2023/06/kai-havertz-to-arsenal-makes-sense/

I think Arteta has other plans to build his squad.
It's very obvious Arteta will deploy Havertz in the midfield role in contrast with Chelsea tactical formation that usually played as a striker thus out of position that is why he hadn't been very effective for this club, though Havertz is a versatile player who can play as a main striker I think Arteta will play him as a replacement for Xhaka with Ødegaard and Declan Rice if eventually signed to form a very formidable midfield, Arteta will bring the best from him, honestly his transfer to Arsenal from Chelsea in a deal which worth £65m is a very good deal for Chelsea who signed him two seasons ago from Bayern Leverkusen  worth £70m, he will be remembered for his lone goal in the finals of UCL against Man City which won them trophy in 2021.
889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 21, 2023, 02:04:05 PM
Havertz has been giving green light moving from chelsea to the arsenal. I support arteta's decision caused by it will be also helping chelsea to get additional funds to buy some important players this season.

Arsenal is still having another mission to get declan rice before the transfer season gonna end.
Havertz deal will be successful for Arsenal easily because Chelsea already have a replacement in the friend striker that they just signed, the deal that may not work out is Declan Rice, and they should not dwell too much on him if West Ham become difficult with the deal. Declan Rice is not the only player on the earth that can carry out whatever plans that the Arsenal coach has.

According to a news report Chelsea is not ready to release Havertz to Arsenal that is why they hadn't reveal his asking price after he reportedly made a statement that he is leaving the club, though the club had completed the signing of  Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig while trying to keep Havertz  and extend his contract due to his versatility in the attacking role for his club and his ability to switch role upfront is a big advantage, I believe that is why Arteta is trying to lure him to his club having been in the for front because he (Arteta) is among the negotiating team that shows how important the player is to him.
890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 21, 2023, 10:55:09 AM
Arsenal have to cover the transfer fee of £100 million as a final bid and if West Ham still doesn't want to, Arsenal will have to forget about the figure of Declan Rice.
I don't know why West Ham are valuing Declan Rice this high, the transfer fee is absolutely outrageous and i don't even think Rice is worth half of the money West Ham are requesting. It has become the norm with English players, the likes of Jack Grealish, Jude Bellingham and others who were sold for an outrageous amount of money.

Declan Rice wants to move to Arsenal, and for now they are the only team that have sent a bid (2 bids actually) to West Ham, though the bids were rejected, i think Arsenal are going to make one last bid for Declan Rice and i expect West Ham to accept it, or else another team might join in the race to sign him.
If Arsenal third and the final bid is rejected by West Ham I think the best bet for the club is to switch over to Brighton and bid for Moises Caicedo with a lesser fee whom I believe is an alternative to Declan Rice, the first bid of 75M with payment in four instalment was rejected because West Ham wanted more than 100m with instant payment, Arsenal increased their bid to 90m which I believe is a very reasonable price yet West Ham turned down the offer, I think Man City is closely monitoring the situation probably the club will table a better offer to lure him to their team, it obvious sign on fees of English players tends to be very high I don't know why it has become a norm in EPL.

Know that there are a lot of crypto opportunities that offer a good income aside from bitcoin investment, so your knowledge will always be beneficial more than you can imagine. And if those early crypto adopters here who are living their life in success do not use their knowledge, then they must not reach their current position now. That is why knowledge is so powerful, as it will be your best weapon on battling the realities in life.
There are so many ways knowledgeable individuals in crypto related stuffs can benefit without investing in it,  firstly the idea in the use of cryptocurrencies enable some gamblers to bet anonymously without stepping out to a physical betting shop, secondly the knowledge in sending and receiving crypto as a form of payment or other purposes is another advantage, moreso there are lot of crypto related jobs online which are only accessible to crypto enthusiast some of those jobs pay their employees via cryptos, finally trading cryptos is only done by people who has vast knowledge in it therefore not investing in Bitcoin despite having some knowledge in it shouldn't be regarded as a disadvantage.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to be blamed, the gambler or the betting agent on: June 20, 2023, 04:15:01 PM

Question is:

What is the possibility of the betting agent getting his money soon/considering the gambler's low-income earnings?
The chances of the betting agent retrieving his money is very slim because the gambler knowingly that he wouldn't met up with the payment of 8K debt absconded without a trace until he was caught, personally I think you should deduct the money from your betting agent daily income maybe 25% daily until he completely paid the whole money that action will deter him from condoning such act in the nearest future and you should post or place a signpost with an inscription which states that " BETTING ON CREDIT IS NOT ALLOWED" boldly displayed on conspicuous locations around the betting shops I think that will put to end such behavior by addicted gamblers.

According to bbcsport news Chelsea had completed the signing of Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig in a deal worth £52m, he is a quality striker having proved to be one of the best striker in Europe and with the imminent departure of Abumeyang to Saudi, Havertz to Arsenal and lots other attacking players who will exit the club this summer and in a order to avoid avoid FFP ban Chelsea is set to offload and trim many of their players and with possibly departure of Lukaku thus necessitate signing Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig who I believe will perform brilliantly for Chelsea going by his past records in both Ligue 1 and Bundesliga.
894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 19, 2023, 04:58:44 PM
It's a shame but it seems that Thomas Partey is likely to leave. Romano reports that there is a good chance of Ghanaian midfielder leaving Arsenal this transfer window [1]. I really liked the guy and way he drives himself and find a long distance scoring position and also has scored some stunners for Arsenal this season too. We now just have Jorginho as a defensive midfielder.

Now Arsenal can't afford to lose in Declan Rice race.

[1] https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1670383826520948736

Despite Arsenal’s interest in getting Declan Rice on their side this summer I still expect that they have someone also good enough to be coming in from the bench as a substitute for Declan Rice and I believe Thomas Partey can come be that player. One major problem Arsenal faced in title chase was not having sufficient backup for their best players, so when fatigue and injuries came, the performance of the team dropped. I hope they can fix this problem this summer.
Arsenal is also bidding for Romeo Lavia the Southampton youngster who will likely replace injury prone Thomas Partey at the midfield, honestly Partey made some costly error this season that cost the team losing some crucial matches of it by losing possession to his opponents easily therefore the earlier he leaves the better, Xhaka is reportedly leaving to a Bundesliga club therefore Arteta needed to sign the trio of Declan Rice, Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo from Brighton with Ødegaard and Lokonga in that midfield that setup will be formidable enough by selecting his first team among those players.
895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Thought On Gambling Strategies on: June 19, 2023, 07:14:03 AM
There is still an iota of strategy in gambling even though it doesn't guarantee 100% win. Gambling is more likely 30% strategy and 70% luck in which most of the luck has a minute percentage of strategy. Just that the house always wins but on rare occasion it is the reverse and why it is always like that is because of desperation and emotional involvements. Sometimes a gambler makes a massive win and feels it should continue that way then end up losing everything.
Nothing to strategize in gambling unlike trading where a trader is expected to have a working trading strategy, however in gambling analysis of pre matches especially soccer is well encouraged, however that doesn't guaranteed an outright win because it is a game of luck and an upset is bound to happen that is why there isn't consistent winning in gambling, personally If I luckily win massively in gambling I ultimately quit to avoid losing back my funds I am still trying my luck having known or read stories of how some gamblers who won huge amount of money due to greediness lost their fortunes in their bid to win more money in gambling.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Nations League final four ⚽ on: June 19, 2023, 07:04:59 AM
Spain beat Croatia 5-4 in Tribeca to win the UEFA Nations League trophy. Spain beat Croatia to win the Nations League trophy for the first time. It is a great achievement for Spain. Both the teams tried to score a lot of goals throughout the game but neither team managed to score at full time. Both teams were almost equal when it came to targeting the opponent's goal post with the ball in their own possession. But despite doing so well, in the end, when the result of the game was decided on penalties, Croatia lost there.

Congratulations to Spain for winning the UEFA Nations League trophy for the first time.
The last penalty kick Panenka scored by Carvahal was absolutely fantastic, kudos to the Spanish goalkeeper Unai simmon who also made a brilliant save while the Spanish players kicks were well taken also Modric who never miss a kick in his entire career scored his own kick brilliantly unfortunately this trophy should have been a parting gift for him if won, it was a keenly contested and competitive match throughout the duration of the time, congratulations to Rodri for winning another trophy in addition to his treble won at the club level and congratulations to the Spanish National team for a well deserved Victory.
897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 18, 2023, 05:21:37 PM
Crazy how Arsenal really want to sign Declan Rice, I think it's too much if they need to spend more than 100 Million Euros because according to Arsenal big transfers [1] those players aren't show good performance like when they were in their previous clubs.
Nicolas Pepe, Aubameyang, Ben White and Alexandre Lacazette, they're failed transfers.
I would also agree that a club should never pay significantly more money as a transfer fee for a player than his current market value. Declan Rice hasca value of 80 Million € at the moment as far as i know, so it would be really stupid in my opinion if Arsenal would make another offer with even more money than those 100 M€ or so that they have already offered for him.
FC Chelsea was even worse, they have paid over 100 M€ for Fernandez in the winter.

I think for that money, Arsenal will actually get other players who are going to be good. I don’t see why Arsenal will have to pay that much money when the market value is 80 million. I am also hearing that the player also does not want to leave for Arsenal at the moment. And that’s why there is a high price tag for him at this moment. I think Arsenal should look for other players to get in the squad. Otherwise, if Arsenal really wants to get him in the squad, they will have to pay a lot of money extra which is really unnecessary. In my opinion.

I am very sure Arsenal won't spend 100M to sign Declan Rice to break a record signing according to another news source Man City is also showing interest in him probably that is why West Ham aren't rushing to release him to the gunners for agreeable terms, however majority of players signed that worth 100M or more by other clubs were overated and ended as flop except few of them using Chelsea as a case study despite huge spending yet the club remain not formidable consequently a lot of clubs will be a little bit hesitant following that path that is exactly what is playing out with case of Arsenal bid for Declan Rice personally he shouldn't worth than 80M as a a reasonable price tag
898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Friendly Match is Hard to Predict on: June 18, 2023, 06:49:24 AM
I just lost 3 Friendly Match last week ago, and all match results draw Grin,

  • Morocco - Cape Verde,
  • Germany - Ukraine,
  • and Indonesia vs Palestine

I don't know why a strong team like German and Morocco didn't play seriously when meet in a friendly match. this will be noted and experienced in the future, So if you are bet in a friendly match, be careful to bet, don't look at how strong that team and squad, just look and be brave to bet in a draw. This is just my opinion, not always all friendly matches result for draw, but with my 3 last bets, I have a thing to bet 70% in the draw  Grin,

how about you?
Friendly matches are not competitive enough to bet on, many friendly matches are played by some countries or clubs to allow the manager try or access some new players infact some clubs or countries would not play their first team squad so I wouldn't bother to bet on those matches infact majority of the players will play softly to avoid being sustain an injury, it's obvious that the Morrocan team didn't play with full strength this is a country that came fourth in the last World Cup that is expected to win convincingly against a minnow Cape Verdean but drew the match likewise Germany a strong team forced to draw Ukraine.
899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 18, 2023, 06:35:08 AM
I can't wait to see Pochettino's performance in Chelsea because he joined the team at a moment when they don't have a good situation and the players are mostly disappointed, while still according to transfermarkt Chelsea is one the most expensive team in the premier league which can give them a good potential for the next season which is what Pochettino can use to take better place for Chelsea in the next season.

However, because of the current atmosphere in Chelsea, he needs to rebuild the team and needs to hard work there.

I think the first major task or assignment of Pochettino is to trim Chelsea squad and rebuild the team starting with  many young stars but few old players while allowing the redundant players to leave now that the likes of Kante, Koulibaly, Havertz, Abumeyang etc would not be in his future plan Pochettino has a lot of work in the rebuilding process of the club, however Chelsea fans shouldn't expect an instant impact it will definitely that some time before the team begin to become formidable and compete with other top team it also an advantage for the club not playing in European competitions it will allow Pochettino to remain focus on way fixing the team.
900  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Multiple timeframes is another means of getting better market clarity on: June 17, 2023, 07:38:51 PM
I wonder if there is a trader out there who only sticks to one timeframe to carry out their trades, To get a clearer picture of the market, One must do a multi-timeframe analysis of the market or a top-down analysis, which is simply starting from the monthly, or weekly, daily and the rest of other timeframes to execute trades. We use monthly, weekly, and daily timeframes to determine the market direction while H4 and below are the best timeframes for entries.
Multi timeframe analysis enable a trader to view the true picture of the trend of the market, it is always advisable not trade against the trend, therefore when all the timeframes indicates that the price is trending in the same direction then there is tendency of earning profit if a perfect entry is triggered by the trader personally I trade using 4 hour timeframe with three moving Averages to determine to the bias of the trend bullish or bearish and drop down to 1 hour timeframe for second analysis thereafter drop down to 15 minutes for entry, however trading using a single timeframe is counterproductive and very risky.
