There are several clubs interested in signing Gundogan in this season transfer window, one of which is Arsenal, Barcelona and also a team from Saudi Arabia. So there is tougher competition for teams who want to sign Gundogan this season. Apart from that, Gundogan, who has not made a definite decision about his future, has made Manchester City put his name on the sale list in this season transfer window. I think if he wants to find a new challenge in another league maybe he will be more interested in joining Barcelona because he will be Xavi mainstay next season. It was not Harry Kane nor Kai Havertz who ended up joining Real Madrid but it was Joselu from Espanyol and this transfer has been confirmed by Fabrizio Romano. Joselu will only be on loan for one season with Real Madrid and the fee is very cheap for a player who has made it to the 3rd top scorer list in La Liga season 22/23. Real Madrid seems to really hope that Joselu will replace the temporary role left by Benzema.

On the other hand, the non-mandatory purchase clause for Joselu is 1.5 million euros and I think that if Joselu fully contributes with Real Madrid then he will have his clause paid for next year. I'm not sure what Declan Rice brings to the table to for Arsenal, especially for such an absurd fee. Instead I would have looked for Vlahovic for example. He has already proven his skills about finishing as he has scored so many goals for Fiorentina and Juventus so far. He is 23 years old as well and he might even cost less than Hojlund or around that amount. I would have decided to sign Vlahovic in this situation.

Chelsea desperately need a centre-forward and Vlahovic fits that description perfectly. After Didier Drogba and Diego Costa, they could not fill that region with a good transfer. Ten Hag need competent defenders and there is still Maguire replacement on the table, they need more reinforcement to fight next season because they wouldn't be playing only just Premier league, they will be playing along with Champions League and seeing that its been a while they made it to the Champions league, then they need all the good players they could sign in this transfer window, there is no any reason to wait for January transfer window, many matches would have started by that time and if they don't serious, they risk coming home again.

Even if arsenal was not sending another bid for him and manchester city may take it as a chance to take rice from westham. I do agree if his price is very very high but as you can see that we have so many rich clubs in EPL that can afford to pay €100m for him. Manchester city may become the most potential club to get him from westham. It looks like city was still in a preparation to send a bid for him to the westham.

Yes, it looks too much, but maybe the offer is indirectly just to interest Declan Rice to join. Because we all know that now Declan Rice is a player coveted by several big clubs, maybe at such a high price Arsenal will have the upper hand in terms of the chances of getting him. Previously, West Ham had rejected the first offer submitted by Arsenal worth 80 million euros and a bonus of 10 million euros, but in fact, West Ham immediately rejected this offer. I think this condition was used as an opportunity by West Ham to be able to get a lot of profit from selling Declan Rice. It must be admitted that Chelsea is an important team figure that has damaged the market value of players and of course this will be followed by other teams that have talented players like Declan Rice who will be sold at high costs because Arsenal are interested in signing him. I'm not surprised things like this will continue if the team always agrees to offers that are not reasonable and it is possible that the transfer fee for one talented player at the age of 19 to 25 will exceed 200 million euros in the next few seasons. I think that at the same time it will pay an unreasonable price for some players who have not proven to be able to contribute much in a big competition and win titles.
