901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCH] BlueChip |NEW FEATURES|4 RELEASES IN JULY | DEDICATED SUMMER-PROJECT on: June 29, 2014, 11:17:06 PM
What scam do you think they are trying to pull anyway? You must explain the scam if you see one. So far you have just posted a couple quotes. Do you think there is a specific scam or do you just think they are scammy in general?

Been around long enough to see the pattern.

1. Create Hype.

2. People buy coins, sending the price up.

3. Dev or whomever dumps and never interacts with the thread again.

Look, let me ask you this.  Why start a thread several weeks in advance and say, "I'm going to have a coin and I promise we will moon the coin"?

There is no talk about anything save references to wall street terminology, serious investing and more fancy sounding things that people want to hear.  But there is no one else on the thread who is doing any talking, nothing happens.

I think that the people who scammed MCAD know the people working BCH and at the very least, the whole guilt by association thing should be under consideration.  If they are working together then yeah...scammy in general.

But you go ahead and make your own decisions.  I would like shitbags who scam people to not get honest peoples BTC.  It's happened to me several times before I started being more selective about what I invest in.

You of course, may make your own decisions.  I might be wrong...but I doubt it.
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCH] BlueChip |NEW FEATURES|4 RELEASES IN JULY | DEDICATED SUMMER-PROJECT on: June 29, 2014, 09:08:02 PM
That is kind of weird that another coin mentions BlueChip being anonymous. But how does this prove it's a scam? Why would you assume this other coin knows anything about BlueChip? I mean anyone can post anything. Do have any more evidence? I don't get it. Can you please explain clearly why you think it's a scam?

Out of all the coins displaying prominent anon capability, how likely is it that a dev would point to BlueChips as being in that race?  Especially since very little people know what BlueChips even is.  The liklihood is favors that they want to push people from one scam to another (MACD or whatever it is is a demonstrated scam as the dev has dumped already) more than BlueChips having anything even close to resembling Anon, which it hasn't even stated it has.  So where did he get that specific reference?

The fact that the poster above me demonstrated that the BlueChips account posted in the MACD thread chastizing people for wanting a Windows wallet, as follows -

Quote
cheeese, compile your own wallet, it is a 0 % premined coin - dev have done more then enough, and even spent money out his own pocket.
Be glad he even compiled a mac-wallet, he could have left only the source-code on github.

...should make that red flag nice and bright.  The dev of a coin (BCH) that has demonstrated nothing is saying that an incomplete launch is "more than enough effort" from a development standpoint.  How much development do you expect from that kind of dev?

Dude...it's a scam.
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCH] BlueChip |NEW FEATURES|4 RELEASES IN JULY | DEDICATED SUMMER-PROJECT on: June 29, 2014, 08:13:32 PM

Quote from above link for emphasis -

Q. What about anon?
A. Really? Current implementations are more of a marketing tool and do little more than obfuscate transactions. The blockchain doesn't lie. If you want anon go with something like Cloakcoin or Bluechip, or just use fiat money and find a good accountant.

Scamcoin trying to give implicit credibility to their major scam...which is BlueChips.  This is the hype coin that they are expecting to payoff...so stay away.  You will get burned and you will lose your BTC if you buy anything from these guys.

Seriously...how does a scam coin know more about BCH than was presented in this thread?  If that isn't obvious enough...props to sixteendigits for pointing it out...
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NRS|NoirShares] POW ENDING at 50k | DACs | MANDATORY WALLET UPDATE 6/23/2014 on: June 27, 2014, 05:52:09 PM
I have all my trust in you and NRS, however, when I saw some new rubbish coins have the show in the exchange, all my wors is nothing. Dear NRG group, I know that all you try your best to try the new changellges, but now, we have nothing to persuade others to buy all talk about Nrs.All you wors is not faster than the other coins DEV, i konw all you do something in your spare time, the truth is that nothing new have been invented, we just copy the others ideas, multipal and so on. where is new goods? where is our future? If you have no time to do this, could we employ some others to do?

And I disagree. They said that they would have something big coming out at about this time; something that no one else is doing.  If you had kept track of the thread you would know that.  I also, it just randomly came up in conversation, persuaded others to buy NRS and linked him to the exact post in this thread where Blockchain tech was hinted at.

It's freaking exciting as all hell and I am willing to be patient for it...there is no way in hell I want to put any more pressure on these guys.

I personally think that your post is uninformed, presumptive and uncalled for.  It's just rude and people are free to disagree with my post but it looks like you accused the devs here of just copying other ideas...which is rude as hell.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XC][OFFICIAL] X11/PoS/Privacy on: June 26, 2014, 06:48:48 AM
Well we all get emotional about this stuff, and say things we probably would not say face to face. It's an exciting phenomenon and some of us have significant amounts invested. Add to that the volatility of these coins and ..well...

That was the most diplomatic thing I have read in this thread...and I was reading the old one.

Well done.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SilkCoin | New Wallet | NOW on MintPal / Cryptsy | FULL POS on: June 20, 2014, 07:11:59 PM

Here is 100% proof this is a scam.

Remember Coinmart that I tried to tell you was an old scam that Silkcoin completely denied was him.

This proves the creator of Coinmart was looking for people to help him with the blockchain even before Silkcoin was introduced!!! Check the date. You can't fake a date on a website like this. It proves the Silkcoin developer was working on the blockchain and asked for help.

Anyone who argues with this proof is part of the scam. Or downsyndrome. Click the two links below.

My developed team are the real special people though, they were the guys who helped with the Cryptsy redesign.

If your telling me that Silkcoin is working with or has ties with the guys who helped with Cryptsy than wow.  My confidence just shot up by a lot...Smiley

Nice to see a few pages that are untouched by the trolling from last night!  Looking forward to a great day!

yea, i could teach an entire course on price manipulation. I've recorded quite a few videos for this purpose.

I'd be fine with the previous videos...Smiley
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SilkCoin | New Wallet | NOW on MintPal / Cryptsy | FULL POS on: June 18, 2014, 09:00:29 PM
ok, since the price is coming back down again I'm gonna push the price down as far as it can go and buy some more. I will record this and upload the video to show the panic sellers what idiots they are

As someone who would like to learn and believes that this coin has very potential, I would be interested in watching that video.

Thank you.

I can't help but feel the market hasn't fully absorbed all of the information confirmed in that update post.  Grin

I agree.  I think we are in the eye of the storm right now.

I kind of doubted all that was being hyped (not enough to even risk my SLK on shorting attempts) but I now realize that it is real and they are serious about what they are doing.  I think that they are going to rock the crypto world within the month.  It's going to be fun to watch and be a part of...Smiley

You wallet must be unlocked for it. Unlock at and it will show up in the action tab.  Smiley

Well I feel kind of silly...how do I unlock the wallet?

Go to Actions Tab, Click on Unlock Wallet Icon, Enter your passphrase and it's unlocked.

Edit : yea, it only shows up after encryption.

Got it...thanks for the help guys...

K, getting back to my camel.  He's got lots of work to do.  (actions tab - just smoke a joint, full screen and watch him.) I love my camel. Grin

Is the animated camel still in the wallet?  I don't see anything in the actions tab...

I haven't found a single block.  Mining on 4 threads from the desktop and I am getting all of the updates but haven't found anything yet...
What's your hashrate? I'm mining at about 2KH and I'm up to ~1000 coins.

It shows 44.2105...which seems low.

It's not an old computer...

Edit to add - I'm just mining from the wallet as the minerc window only shows for a split second when I try to launch it...what can I do to fix this?

And here's what it looks like with set_log 1 enabled.  Every time a block is solved it will show up in the daemon window.

Code:

Thank you very much!

So I guess I am up and mining...haven't found anything yet but I am not too worried...

I don't see a constant update in the Daemon...if I enter the "show_hr" I'll start getting a running list of the hashrate but nothing about blocks.  Is that normal?
