901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin confirms another ETH hard fork on: October 14, 2016, 02:08:01 PM
I should stop to answer to this Mindlesscache ETH cheerleader. He already proved that his IQ = a room temperature.

The DAO didn't fail, it was hacked. There is a MASSIVE difference.

Your stupidity always amuses me. Cheesy

Fantastic article by Alex Van de Sande dispelling all the FUD and lies currently being propagated by the ETC criminal coin tards.

What a douche...

3 pages in its clear that Spoetnik has another successful thread accomplished spreading nothing but bitter lies and FUD.

Admit you missed the ETH train and move on.

Nothing to see here. Thread closed.

Can you please remind us what happened with the DAO 4 days after you said this?
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty] 2 BTC - corrupted wallet recovery! on: October 14, 2016, 01:43:54 PM
Just fork the coin. Cheesy

P.S. Just kidding. Good luck with that, because I suppose you are in tough position...

Just created a new Ethereum logo.

This is just another pathetic shitpost from a known ETH hating trolltard. Vitalik has said from the start and even baked into the roadmap that ETH will hardfork as it adds new features and security. So do yourselves a favour a block anything that this precious snowflake trolltard with the dodgy barber posts. It's all based on bitterness and lies.

I am being honest (as always), but you are a proved ETH cheerleader. But as I already said: just wait and see.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin confirms another ETH hard fork on: October 14, 2016, 09:54:02 AM
I am telling you that this is BIGGER than you all think, but I will repeat: just wait and see...

I'm shocked...

Yeah OK...   like the sane thing to do would be to sit back & watch those FUCKIN' WANKERS continue attacking the network...   Roll Eyes

This is so much bigger than you think, but just wait and see...
909  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Thanks to VOD & Suchmoon secondstrade.com now got a red trust on: October 13, 2016, 01:36:27 PM
Lacking info, so still unable to figure out what exactly happened.

Looking into this.

Lacking info? The guy proved that he owns these BTC addresses, but secondstrade said that he used "random transaction". I don't think that more proofs are needed. Smiley
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Vitalik Buterin confirms another ETH hard fork on: October 13, 2016, 01:11:38 PM
"The increasing number and intensity of denial-of-service attacks has continuously affected the network, causing delays in exchanges and wallet platforms for ETH deposits and withdrawals. As a direct result to this issue, Vitalik Buterin has recently confirmed the execution of the EIP150 hard fork.

Geth releases inefficient

Despite the release of a series of Geth releases including “What else should we rewrite?” “Come at me Bro (1.4.15),” and the latest “Poolaid (v1.4.17),” the Ethereum development team has struggled to mitigate the DoS attacks and transaction spam attacks.rmed the execution of the EIP150 hard fork, which will be designed to automatically adjust gas prices on the Ethereum network.

Gas for Ethereum

Gas, a measuring unit used by the Ethereum network to represent the amount of work the execution of a certain operation requires, is necessary because it establishes the range of appropriate fees paid by the transactions to the network.

Ledger Labs Head of Technology and Ethereum expert Jeff Coleman explains:

“By requiring that a transaction pay for each operation it performs (or causes a contract to perform), we ensure that network doesn't become bogged down with performing a lot of intensive work that isn't valuable to anyone,”.

Thus, the newly introduced EIP150 hard fork looks into major changes in gas prices to mitigate DoS attacks and setting practical gas prices to every transaction submitted to the network.

So far, a variety of solutions have been proposed to EIP150 as an automatic gas price adjustment mechanism. As Vitalik Buterin stated in his official announcement, three main categories are being considered: miner voting, market-based schemes and timing games.

While miner voting is quite straightforward in the sense that miners vote on the gas price, market-based schemes are a more balanced method that takes in both the market and miner to decide the gas schedule of each transaction.

Overtime, as time for EIP150 execution approaches, Buterin explains that these models will be exploited in greater detail, with necessary research and reviewing process. Buterin stated:

“By requiring that a transaction pay for each operation it performs (or causes a contract to perform), we ensure that network doesn't become bogged down with performing a lot of intensive work that isn't valuable to anyone.”

I also gave them red trust. They haven't responded to my PM and tweet. I still believe that they probably had some problems, but I'm going to remove the negative feedback once/if they clear them out.
912  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Secondstrade.com stole 0.9733BTC [Proofs Inside] on: October 12, 2016, 10:33:43 AM
Guys,

I think that a separate thread should be created, where everybody should post their "story". I already notified secondstrade (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1641673.msg16524353#msg16524353) about another scam accusation, but please understand that its difficult to follow everything. I will do my best to assist you.

bitcoinlitcoinbtcltc, you are pathetic, but fortunately, I am not the only one who sees it.

Hm, so this kind of hard fork will not "invalidate" the existing coins?

Yes. One of our main problems was that the "new" coin was not working with the current wallet.dat file, but this is now fixed.

If you continue to act this way I am going to leave the thread. Don't need to explain that I'm going to paint them in red, if they don't explain their actions, but I guess I must give you a head as well....

Geez.....

Hi,

I've just read a bit about FailCoin and decided to help you out with the cryptoID hosting Wink

Transaction: blockchain.info
Proof: coinig.com (Bitcoin Signature Verifier)

I'm also interested in obtaining some coins. As there will be a hard fork, I guess I should mine the new coins for a while at the start instead of buying them. However, my hardware resources are quite limited.

Hey,

Thanks you! That really means a lot!

I'd suggest you to mine FailCoin now, because it will be pure PoS after the hard fork. I guess your first impressions about FAIL are good, but I can promise you that a lot more things will come. We are going to look very different, but unfortunately (as we are not funded by anyone and he is working in his free time) it all depends on when pnoch (our Lead dev.) will finish his work on the code. He is currently forking BlackCoin, but our wallet will have its own unique features.

Thanks again, really!

Cheers,
Spartak
917  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DeOS (by Razormind) is most likely a scam! on: October 11, 2016, 05:44:46 PM
With regards to the 'Leadership' page of profiles, now they've had to finally remove Ismael let's scrutinise who is left. First up we have Mr James Ferguson

snip

Hahaha! I'm not sure why you are still making researches on them. People's stupidity is mind boggling and that has been proven many, many times. To me this was enough:

Me: Hey, Razormind, I saw some strange discrepancies in your crowdsale, care to elaborate on them?
They: It's normal people to get confused. Write us at hello@whateverthemailwas.com to clear them out.
Me: But I have demanded (several times) for a public explanation?
They: Ignore.
Me: Then fuck off, you are scammers.

What's the point of digging more?

And I've just noticed something else, which I find strange. 2 of the 3 articles about Razormind on CT were written by Niall Maye (source: https://cointelegraph.com/tags/razormind). I've noticed that recently he started following @FAILCommunity on Twitter (I am in control of the account). You can see who Mr. Maye is, but that's not the main point. The main point is that I know a guy who knows Niall in person. The guy is a former Director of Slovenia's Bitcoin Association and he is also affiliated with CT. He is a great and a very humble person! I have him on Facebook, we've talk A LOT about our lives, families and such. He also helped me in number of occasions.

What I basically mean - he's a gem. But why CT is not taking any actions?!

Hmmm....

@CoinTelegraph,

Guys, I know you are busy, but it would take you like 1 hour of "researches" (more than enough were already made) to expose that utter scam. I already named 2 guys affiliated with you and for which I can say they are good, but this is....
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potcoin has almost 8% of Bitcoin's volume. on: October 11, 2016, 05:16:16 PM
Potcoin is only in 37th place, according to whole crypto market ranking. So currently it does not mean a lot. First five crypto - Bitcoin, ETH, Ripple, Litecoin, Monero - check link here https://coinmarketcap.com/Wink

Your logic is... well... can't put name on it... Shocked

920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Pump Squad on: October 11, 2016, 11:02:25 AM
There is so much truth in OP's few sentences, but now even less people cares what's next... It's clear that pumps and dumps are happening on Poloniex, and that became more obvious since the beginning of 2016. We saw pumps on Noble and Bitmark to name a few (note: there are literally 10s of coins, which were pumped and dumped, but I'm not bothering to remember them all). Monero was also pumped and dumped (you can think/say whatever you want - it won't change my opinion), but I can agree that there are a lot of people interested in XMR. But what about the recent pump and dump on Potcoin? POT/BTC pair reached 8% of the entire Bitcoin market!

This will not bring any good for cryptocurrencies in general. The only result I can think of is more regulations...
