901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin in the highest level of trust? on: August 15, 2021, 08:16:54 PM
Being the mother of cypto currency, its value remained awesome from the beginning though it had many obstacles in the Beginning stage. Recent its ATH has drawn in so many investors into it. This says how people are open and confident enough to try crypto currencies.  And as all other cyrpto currencies follow Bitcoin's  growth, Everyone is investing in bitcoin. The demand and supply of bitcoin raises its trust and its value in the market. Word of mouth played a great role in it as well.
902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: August 15, 2021, 07:52:31 PM
It is bad that our children are born to meet gambling as a game, which will drain and suck them financially and emotionally of the little dime they got.The internet is a tool that facilitates online gambling, but since it can't be scrapped off,we just have to bear, and make do with it as one of the disadvantage of the internet.
Well, here the role of parents is very important to control their children, to keep controlling their activities on the internet which often opens certain videos with smartphones. But in my place.. the video about the gambling site has not been clearly listed/often appears on youtube or other social media.
Unfortunately this is difficult to do, kids have access to all kind of technology that was unthinkable just a decade ago and even if you can control what they are watching in the devices you bought this does not holds true when they are using the devices of other kids, so while direct protection from this kind of information seems like the best option at the same time it is never going to be enough, which is why it is important to have a talk about why something like gambling is not good for them at such an early age.

True, though I could control my children from playing online games, he is tend to play on his grand father's mobile device from other places. This is really a challenging one. As said, instead of protecting or controlling them from playing, its always best to educate them why they should not play the game. That should be explained in a way they understand.
903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Always gamble with sense on: August 15, 2021, 07:38:28 PM
Sport bets results are never regulated/determined by gambling sites but I still see individual gamblers making quite a huge losses in sport gambling which I believe it's abnormal to me and there is need to have a rethink after much losses.

Could this be normal for one to be having consistent losses in sport betting when result is not even determined by betting platforms? I have been reasoning of what could be the reason of such losses or could it be as a result of less knowledge in a particular sport.
Less knowledge is one reason. That's true. You need to fall in love with the game first or that is your sport since childhood to make better decision on what team to bet.
Being a fan of every team or following them on social media could also help. Then, there is statistics checking of every player and injury updates when it comes to sports gambling.
You just need to follow the right guys in Twitter to keep yourself updated.
Losing many time in a row happens but it always end. I think 10 losing streak will be too bad for me and I might seek help from other bettors either inside this forum or outside just to give me one win and break the losing streak.

Lack of knowledge and lack of experience and at times, lethargic moves, might lead to loss. Patience, enough knowledge and concentration will certainly lead to a win game. At times even an experienced, do loose their games. Get an advice of how to move about playing from an experts in the same game. As you said, get in touch with guys who are much familiar to the games winning often.
904  Economy / Economics / Re: The Role of Government in Crypto on: August 15, 2021, 07:24:02 PM
the primary role of government is to provide a regulatory framework in an economy, Government sole responsibility is to provide a guideline on how thing are to be done within their jurisdictions.

this is not different with cryptocurrency although cryptocurrency is created with high anonymous the truth remains that cryptocurrency co-exist with other factors in the economy such as the bank and the traditional currencies, for crypto to become a full flesh currency it need to under go government regulation because that is the only way cryptocurrency will be considered a legal currency.

questions:

will government regulations on cryptocurrencies undermined crypto decentralized nature?

Each country worries that their currency value may go down if they permit crypto currency in their country. Crypto's growth has even drawn the share market investors into crypto which is challenging fiat financial market. Though few countries allow crypto currencies, many keeps thinking to accept it. But seeing Bitcoin's growth and invention of so many new crypto projects, Govts will certainly adapt crypto currencies. Who knows, each country might create their own crypto currency in future.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: August 14, 2021, 07:43:45 PM
While it is true that addiction can happen the majority of the gamblers can enjoy it without suffering any bad effects on their lives and if anything I will be more worried about people being addicted to their smartphones than gambling addiction as it is way more common, also in most countries people are considered to be adults at 18 years old so it is impossible to stop them from gambling if that is what they want to do, unless you propose that age is pushed even farther back which I do not think it is going to be very popular among the young population.
Could you please underline this claim with facts? This thread should be based on facts rather then based on beliefs. So do you know about a study stating that the majority of gamblers can enjoy it without suffering?

I do not have such statistics (although I would look at it with interest if someone provided the relevant research), but I can assume that if a significant number of gamblers suffered from their addiction, then gambling would be prohibited everywhere. By the way, would it be nice if you first clearly defined what you mean by suffering? The range of this concept is quite wide.

I agree with that, however, that number might only be a small percentage only if compared to the total number of people who are gambling, the reason why gambling platforms still exist and in fact, their industry is improving and continue to be one of the most lucrative business on earth. Gambling addiction is a gambler's fault, not on the gambling site.

We can not yes just blame gamblers. But I would say, addiction depends on its existence. I mean, as long as either gambling sites, tobaccos, alcohols and etc are available, none can be stopped from utilizing / using it. So, in other words, their existence is a kind of temptation to use though. I remember, early in 90s, lotteries were sold and many were addicted to it. But now they are all stopped in many places and this diverted its users to other activities. So, everyone is responsible for addiction and not only who gambles.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does matic (polygon) worth to invest? on: August 14, 2021, 07:15:15 PM
Though I trust in dogecoin, I will confidently invest in Matic man. I have been seeing its growth since it came in. I have invested in it already, still i would add up more if i have enough budget. The team is really awesome and yes man its network is really welcomed by all here. The work behind its growth is really seen through its progress in its value. Matic is going reach it height very soon. It must reach minum $5 if BTC reaches $80k to $90k. One of the best coin to invest in.
907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The more popular Bitcoin is, the more valuable it is? on: August 14, 2021, 06:50:52 PM

Do you think Bitcoin will be devalued in the future?

Right now, no one can really tell the actual value of bitcoin. It’s too early. However, there are predictions in the crypto-finance space that the value of bitcoin could reach over $100,000 to as much as one million dollars per BTC in the future. Only a couple of days ago, bitcoin made a comeback that has taken it up more than 50% from recent lows. The future is bright, let's keep our fingers crossed.

If the Bitcoin value falls by 10,000 or 20000$ , even  then it doesn't mean that the Bitcoin is devalued. In the long terms the Bitcoin will always be high in the prices. We should not be worried about the dump which Bitcoin takes while making the new all times high.

Another thing that what should be the true value of Bitcoin is no one can tell it may be $1000000 or even more.
Value isnt really what true bitcoiners looking though, in the long term to change the financial system is what true bitcoiners looking for.
thats the biggest mistake from those people who looking for short term profit but get demolished in the end due lack of awareness that bitcoin and any other cryptocurrencies is wild and volatile.
popularity bring stronger ecosystem into bitcoin space sometimes but thesedays it looks unclear due unclear covid 19 outbreak that makes most business  stalled and the ecosystem itself looks not much growing with its high popularity.

On a long term perspective, yes, bitcoin is going to be a valuable asset. A newbie into crypto always makes him familiar with whats happening around, like trading. Unless and until he/she is an experienced, he/she would go for a short term profit.  But yes, being here for more than 5 years, I am really confident on bitcoin's massive growth in its value on a long term. Its demand in the market is making it popular and valuable.
908  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Always pump after sold holdings. on: August 14, 2021, 06:12:19 PM
As the title says, does it happen with you as well? Or just it has been happening with me? Not most of the time, but every time it has been happening with me. Although I sold my holding in profits somehow after sold it start to pump more and more. It's not happening with altcoin only. It's happening also in the Bitcoin trade. I do not regret but it's somehow surprising to me. Either I don't have enough patience or I don't have enough experience.

Does it happen with you? Or just it's happening with me?

I too have experienced the same. But I was bit happy for selling my coins at least for a good profit although I missed out a huge profit when there was a great pump to the same coin I sold. From such incidents, I learnt to be patient enough to watch for a reasonable hike and sell. However, it really challenges besides being aware of news/updates on whats happening to the coin. At times, I even lost the opportunity to sell my coins at a high profit by holding the coin back thinking still that coin's price would go up more. Hence, always, setting up profit at minimum percentage is really good enough. This would certainly satisfy us.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anything make you stop gambling on: August 14, 2021, 05:46:24 PM
I have being gambling for quite a while now and  I don't think I'm addicted to it but nothing can make me stop gambling. Gambling is like a joy to me, it makes me happy and any time I tried to stop entirely, I would see my see going back to it.

Gambling is intoxicating and can give a great fortune if one is lucky and with the right fate. Can anything stop you from gambling...maybe your family, friends, circumstances or even your losses?

I feel you bit addicted to it as well although you say you are not. You might play either for joy or for money. If you feel to go back to gambling on any circumstances, then yes, you are drawn towards it. None can stop you from playing other then you. Family members can yes force you to stop or create an atmosphere to come out of it, but its you who is responsible to get rid of your thoughts wandering towards gambling. Just focus on other things you might be interested on which will divert you from gambling.
910  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why newbies lose huge money in trading on: August 13, 2021, 07:26:09 PM
Most newbies lose huge amount of money because, after learning the basics of trading they feel they know it all, they think they can manipulate through the market. But they end up losing big.

No matter what you are thought, you must know this that to be a successful trader, it takes practice and consistency.

New traders are tend to invest in coins where their friends invested and earned a huge profit. Mainly, in recent days, in last quarter, we could see too many investors into trading based on word of mouth spread about crypto currencies yielding good enough profit. Mainly new traders put their money on a coin when that is on its uptrend which is not appreciated. They would always fall into loss and when they see it, they just close off the trade in loss and come out as they are not used to it. Patience is the key to success in every field. Analyse the market and place your orders based on the updates on the coin one is invested.
911  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Next Generation Dice on: August 13, 2021, 07:03:19 PM
I am not sure. What is it for to open a new thread?
About publishing the usernames, I will do soon after I get allowance from them.

hahahaha....nice. Since I saw this tread, I would like to share that Bustadice was my first site I played. I remember I earned btc playing few rolls. I earned few satoshi and that was the last time I played. Just felt to share it by seeing this thread. Apologies if this is not relevant to this thread. I now lost the access to it since 2017. But gained a bit experience on gambling.
912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing acceptance level - Cryptocurrency on: August 13, 2021, 06:44:49 PM
Below is a pic that's been taken on a ride. Everyone might be familiar with the Autorickshaw of India. In some part people term them as Autowala. The auto rickshaw is called with different names on different countries including auto, auto rickshaw, baby taxi tuk-tuk, 3wheel, bao-bao, tukxi. The operators are very common people who have their living out of the earning through this rental rides. They've started accepting cryptocurrency is something big and shows the increasing level of cryptocurrency acceptance.

Really exited to see this. To be frank, I am from where the auto is driven. Lovely to see, guys openly keeping a paper board stating he is accepting crypto currencies. I am sure, riding auto must be his part time job and he must be working around here in forum or trading in the big platforms here. We do see many good big companies take time in accepting crypto currencies, but where as an individual who is just a runs auto business by himself, is accepting crypto currencies. Need to really appreciate him man.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful with Meme Coins on: August 13, 2021, 06:24:56 PM
Although everyone is after the meme coins but currently the meme coins holders are in a big loss. Things may change but its risky to invest in such coins although i have seen these meme coins giving more profit than those fundamental strong coins.

Vitalik Buterin strikes back at doggy coins with $80m rugpull

Ethereum Founder Vitalik Buterin Donates $1 Bn Worth Of Meme Coin ‘Shiba Inu’ For Covid Relief In India

Vitalik Buterin donates more than $60M to charity after selling meme tokens including Shiba Inu

I too have invested in Shiba Inu. Ever since Elon Musk tweets about doge coin, too may meme coins came to existence. Few were created against doge. Those who focused on doge, later turned towards Shiba Inu. Since its much cheaper, many bought as much as they could. Yes as you say, its really risky, however, we still hope so on meme coins seeing doge grow in the market since 2017.
914  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotions should never be traded. on: August 13, 2021, 05:58:41 PM
I'd want to provide some guidance, particularly to individuals who are new to the market. You think you should buy in ALTs whenever the market is rising. And it's possible that you'll gain from it. However, the market drops after you make your investment. When the market falls, you believe you are losing money and sell everything. When you watch the stock market rise, you invest. You will continue to be harmed in this manner. As a result, anytime you need to invest, put a tiny percentage of your portfolio into it. As a result, even if the market falls, you will still have your portfolio. Never trade based on your emotions. Calculate carefully before investing.

This is kind of falling into manipulation. As you correctly say, lets not get into order books when the market is manipulated. Never get in when the concern coin you wish to invest, just suddenly goes up. Analyse and be updated on new updates to the coin you are investing. For an example, if you are going to invest in a good coin and thats going to be listed on a reputed exchange, then yes, you have your treat there. Like wise, watch out for good updates and wait and place your order accordingly. Never let your emotion lead you on trading.
915  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I sell or hold on my bitcoin? on: August 09, 2021, 06:49:36 PM
Hold hem off man. Bitcoin is seriously growing up. Decide if you wish to go for long term or short term hold. Thats up to you. But keep watching the market's growth and its moment.  Hold and sell them at the right moment. This will really help you to get revenue at the right time. Unless and until you are committed to something from the return, pl don go for it, Have patience. Its the key to success.
916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge Coins? on: August 09, 2021, 06:04:58 PM
is it a joke or what?
i personally dont think that its a real deal to go up with.
Rumors that Dogecoin is like bitcoin yet i dont see many websites using it. is there any earn-money site paying in dogecoins?

I was one among other traders who did not trust on Dogecoin in 2017. Since then, I have been closely watching its growth and yes I feel its a double the worthy coin to invest in. I have almost invested around $2k into dogecoin. I may not be good enough to watch which sites are paying in dogecoin, but i am sure, in upcoming days, sites will either pay in dogecoins or start accepting payments in dogecoins.  Elon Mosk's recent tweet on dogecoin, had resulted in its ATH. This indicates, business men around are thinking of doge payments. We can trust on dogecoin so. My opinion it would be.
917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything like excess gambling on: August 09, 2021, 05:47:33 PM
Do not overdo it if you're not confident on your self-control when it comes to your money. It will be damaging to you in the long run since you are not aware of how much time you are spending and how much money you are depositing every gambling session that you have. There will come a time that you will be so hooked in gambling that everything else will be affected. Get some time outside of your computer and spend some time doing other things to sway your mind off of gambling.
We know gambling games are really fun to play with, the fact that you're enjoying the game plus a chance to earn is really addicting. But yes its not right to gamble without self control because it can lead to more problems, thus as early as possible it would be better to set a limit on how much money you'll going to spend in gambling and its a must to have discipline. If a gambler is aware that he might lose control for some reasons then much better to stay away and not try to gamble anymore.

Good advice though. Yes when you are interested in gambling, separate a amount but should have control over your budget. Once the budget gets over, have self control until the next turn. If one does not fallow this, he will certainly face many problems. He might loose his money, face mental issues from addiction and obviously this will lead into family clash. Though self controlling would be really challenging, it would yield a satisfying life style.
918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Weekly/monthly financial statements, which do you prefer? on: August 09, 2021, 05:22:44 PM
I don't understand how you can not know how much you have lost without using reports. If you use credit card funds to play, you can see your spending history. If you use cryptocurrency then all information is available on the blockchain.

This is actually quite easy to explain. "small" but regular expenses, although not noticeable at any given moment, eventually add up to a large amount. If a gambler makes a lot of small deposits, then he may not think about the final amount, and he will most likely be too lazy to make calculations himself.
Obtaining such a report is very useful in my opinion, since it is quite easy to come to terms with the loss of 20 or 50 dollars, but if you see that in a month you have lost, for example, 1000 dollars, then you can draw conclusions about saving on gambling since 1000 dollars can be spent more profitably in other areas.

I have experienced the same. Spending small amounts frequently and not tracking it, keeps me think that did i spend this much of amount within these few days? Like wise it might be on gambling i suppose. Playing with small money and not tracking it, may not support to calculate how much we spent and how much profit we have earned. Its always satisfying to track even the small expenses and small profits as well.

919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling attracted to emotion or luck on: August 09, 2021, 04:18:31 PM

Emotion is just a normal part but doesnt mean that it would affect luck chance for you to win the game. There's no factor that could affect your winning probabilities.

You could be happy and think you will have a great day and later you will find out that it's not your lucky day at all, if you are happy and having a great day don't think it will contribute to your success in winning in the gambling, you don't have control and sometimes we tend to be careless when we are full of emotion, it's better to bet when you are more relaxed.

Yah, Never attach emotions for a return from an investment. When money is invested either on games, business or etc, just foresee it from a revenue perspective instead of hoping on luck or emotionally awaiting for a return. Though its really hard, it would become a winning situation as you keep practicing on controlling the emotions and depending on luck basis. Your consistency will pay you off more than the luck pays you off.
920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: August 09, 2021, 04:02:49 PM
I suppose that those bonuses are in fact good for the casino otherwise they will not give them, it is true that there are people that could try to abuse those bonuses especially in this market in which people do not want to identify themselves as they want to gamble in an anonymous way, but it is unlikely this is going to be a problem because many of those websites are going to use cookies and other technologies to keep track of who has used their services and if they see any suspicious activity then they are going to ban your account.

There will always be those who will try to take advantage of the system. Especially when it comes to free money. I'm sure casinos are well prepared for such situations and have well-developed methods of detecting abusers. It is very unlikely that cheaters will escape detection thanks to cookie tracking, IP logging, browser fingerprinting, and who knows what else.

The free trial or bonus given to beginners to play, are the other ones hooks people. Whom so ever it would be, would make a try for the first play unless and until he has heard of the websites faking or he is an experienced. So the new registered player is always given a chance to win on their first swing which in turn pulls them in mentally to try with case on the second swing or when the free amount gets over. Here one just has to decide if to move further or not after their free trial is over.
The bonuses that the casino gives are without a doubt one of the main attractions for many gamblers, however that only attracts the gambler to that specific casino but it doesn't tell us anything about why the person decided to gamble on the first place and why it keeps doing it, personally I think there are many reasons for this to happen, some people just like the excitement, some people want to get fun, some just want to make money while others are just curious about it and want to try it.

The atmosphere around would really makes the one exited. The welcoming behavior of other play with us, would certainly encourage us to mingle with and continue the relationship by playing with them on a regular basis. Few dont mind about cash but just a fun and lovely environment. The ambiances where we play, makes one feel fall into play the games. Like wise, we have so many reasons to get hooked up so. It varies from each individual.
