1101  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullrun Done? on: May 23, 2021, 09:04:38 PM
Double top, don't sell and thank me later.

Very difficult, let's see...
That's right because the market price is unpredictable and I guess that, every now and then it will fluctuate the bitcoin price either it will up or down, no one really knows. However, this was already expected that there's a market correction right after the continued pump last week.

As far as I know, this major drop was because the people were affected by the FUD and always afraid of losing their money because they are looking to it in a short period of time, not for a long-term investment.
1102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many got REKT :( on: May 23, 2021, 08:56:01 PM
Who did an exit strategy before the worst dip?

I am not yet, currently i hold only Bitcoin and it is only 0.002BTC. Maybe for people in here it look like small amount but with that i hope i can make something worthy so i am not do exit strategy but holding it with my own reason. Maybe some other people did that too.
I don't know if that is a good idea to exit your investment even you know that you have a loss, it means you accept it and the loss was already there. Unlike if you keep holding g on to it, for example, if you have 1 bitcoin that will remain 1 bitcoin and nothing lose with you.

Right at this moment if you have bought bitcoin at the range price of $50k, it's better to keep hold and for sure there will always a new ATH of bitcoin price but we don't know when it will happen. Accept the REKT or there's a chance that you will recover it through keep holding.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What online betting company you know gave you a b'day present? on: May 22, 2021, 09:13:54 PM
I have a small research and this is what I have found, I'm not digging more and I don't know if those gambling sites were accepting crypto or bitcoin.
https://www.top10-casinosites.net/casinos-that-give-birthday-money/

We know that recently there are too many shady reports on that gambling site mentioned by the OP and I guess on my mind that is their marketing strategy to lure gamblers. But if I were on that case, $10 is a small amount, I guess I will use that gambling site if their reputation was good but so far, I don't like it. Maybe if you are not a big player, I use that gambling site just for fun.
1104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the motive behind the anti gambling campaign on: May 22, 2021, 08:47:37 PM
It is simply that the things that come up in my mind why there's an anti-gambling campaign, just because they don't want to increase the number of those gambling addicts that may possible when they come at the stage of being addicted, they will most likely commit a crime. They know that not all players will become a winner and petty those loser chasing money through gambling.

So I guess, there's no motive why there's an organization like this, I think they have an insight into how will it worst if everyone relies on gambling and causing money, they will never realize that gambling is just for entertainment purposes only.
1105  Economy / Gambling / Re: Wagered $10Mil on Stake March Bonus Issues on: May 22, 2021, 08:22:40 PM
Op didn't respond to this thread yet and I may think that this case was already solved early.

What happened to stake.com? I saw recently they had different issues and different users have different issues. If Ia'm not mistaken, stake.com also have their own forum right? I guess it is also good if you will raise this problem to their forum and also to their ANN thread. Because so far Stunna didn't respond here yet.
1106  Economy / Economics / Re: NASDAQ on the Blockchain? on: May 21, 2021, 09:20:41 PM
I’m trying to retrieve an article about Nasdaq and other stock exchange’s plans towards Blockchain Technology but I wasn’t able to find it anywhere.

But it says that Stock Market Exchange Executives have initiated to do some research about Blockchain technology and if it would help the stock market on its operation. The initial results were good, findings are in flying colors. The only part they are worried about is that it is new to them. Feasibility-wise, it’s possible as well as per the writer.

But I don’t think it will be adopted within the next 3 years. Let’s just give them time to study and gather data about it and all above is my personal opinion.
1107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China’s Crypto Crackdown Shows Governments Are The Enemy Of Bitcoin on: May 21, 2021, 09:05:47 PM
~snip~
What's really Chinas   stance on cryptocurrencies because we have always heard about this old news for over 5 years now!!
Playing games or they are really serious about it, we don't know.

Let’s say the news about China banning cryptocurrency affected the price of bitcoin today. But honestly, it was just the news and the reactions of the bitcoin owners that affected the value, and not the bitcoin itself.

What I mean is, bitcoin will still soon go up and this won’t be affected by China’s No to bitcoin movement. We all know that China already banned Cryptocurrency 5 years ago but what happened? bitcoin is still there and pumped.

They are against bitcoin as it conflicts with their national interest. They will soon publish digital yuans, so you name it.
1108  Economy / Economics / Re: Rich Americans Fleeing Tax Hikes May Turbocharge Shift to ETFs on: May 21, 2021, 01:13:50 PM
~snip~
Perhaps it would be good if the SEC gave crypto ETFs in america a green light?
I guess, regardless if there are tax hikes, we all know that rich people have great accountants on their payroll. That is enough to help them reduce taxes to almost 0%. And I think that is what has to be resolved.

Look at Jeff Bezos paying almost zero taxes on his company because their accounts are well written/recorded enough to avoid the taxes legally and the government couldn’t do it.

Well, taxation as well all know is built to have complex loopholes in a way that if you know how it works and knew the hack, your finance will then become unlimited.
1109  Economy / Economics / Re: Risk of Scarcity. on: May 21, 2021, 12:10:51 PM
It has been said many times, but scarcity is inevitable especially for people who are clinging to go to cities where the cost of living is very much expensive and all of the sources are generally imported from different countries.

The problem is, countries and their governments find it hard to manage the sources because we all know that all of the countries are having hard times managing their own supplies, as well.

Well then, I think we should start digging holes and planting seeds that we will then soon eat. Scarcity has been there since day one. But we all have to survive and not blame anyone for it.
1110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Freerolls or Tournaments with Guaranteed Prize? Or what's your preference? on: May 21, 2021, 11:51:39 AM
I think the majority of us would choose a guaranteed prize even when it’s less. Having less is better than earning nothing at all.
But in my opinion, having both benefits to the game is somehow wiser than choosing from the two.

Sooner or later, players will realize that the prize they get when they are playing is not enough and not really that much worthy of their time.  This already applies to the freerolls.

What if you give both to the new players at the beginning and as time goes, those benefits will soon be gone when they learned how to win on their own?
1111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader took his own life after the recent huge dump on: May 20, 2021, 10:27:50 PM
I think, this time of the year. The best thing to improve and develop is persistence and stoicism. We all are in an industry with volatility that would either make or break us. Financially we may become quickly successful but the negative effect of it is still intact.

And the time that you lose, things will go wrong one by one. You start to hate your life in a way that you won’t respect it that much and take it. The same thing happened to the trader.

I’m not a trader myself, but I own cryptocurrencies and I am also affected by the correction. I just feel bad about his person since if only he knew that he can still recover from the losses he had, he might become successful.
1112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Tank Davis vs Barrios - June 26 on: May 20, 2021, 10:12:38 PM
~snip~
Do you think, which of these fighters the odds will favor?
The Tank is in favor of this match in my opinion. He already has his advantage coming from the lightweight division against Mario. But we all know that they both have given great performances in their previous fights. Both of them are undefeated and this is where a record will surely be ruined (unless they will have a draw and I don’t think that is possible).

Obviously, I would go with Davis here. I’ll place my bets on him. I just hope that greater odds will be given by the bookmakers for this match. Good luck!
1113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to Decide: Are You an Investor or a Gambler? on: May 20, 2021, 10:06:51 PM
That's right, right now, when the price of bitcoin is in such a big decline. If it were me, I'd buy it!
Considering the volatility of the Bitcoin’s Market? I should say that it is somehow considered gambling already. As you don’t invest with things that have security and sustainable movement.

Correction teaches a lesson that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are no joke. The pool has been influenced by statements and I find it disappointing honestly.

But yes, I think this is the best time to go in. Just make sure that you’re ready and you learned the lesson that the risk is high here. That’s enough to go.
1114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: May 20, 2021, 09:58:09 PM
Online gambling is the first choice if the gamblers want to gamble since the physical casino is not available during the pandemic. Those who prefer physical casinos will continue to gamble once there is a casino open once the pandemic is not worst anymore. Even the fiat casinos also accept cryptocurrency too and just pop up to the forum then most of the people in this forum didn't heard of it yet.
Because there's no choice for them and online gambling is their next option.
Digital Gaming has been successful since the day that the first platform was published. Imagine playing and gambling at your house? That was just a dream before.

But then, the pandemic was an advantage to the gambling platforms to soar high. This time they were able to reach the peak as people are trying it out as alternatives.

And now, we can tell that online casinos are making enough funds to improve and develop their services and I really find it exciting.
1115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ohio offering lottery prize worth one million for those that get the COVID shot on: May 20, 2021, 09:51:06 PM
What do you think of this? Do you agree with what the governor of Ohio is doing or are you against it?

I don't see any reason to think of that as negative so I agree with it as long as that money is properly bid in a good process and agreed by anyone else on their local government unit. It's a form of encouragement as not all people really like to get vaccinated even with those top vaccines with high efficiency rate.

All I can say is, I hope there's the same program here in our local government unit too lol. But honestly, it's a good initiative that government will do anything just to encourage people to be vaccinated.
You have a point and you're right.
There could be better approaches rather than this. They should have invested that funds to buy another supply of vaccines and simply build trust in the public so they could willingly have themselves vaccinated.

I just find this approach very much desperate in a way that the government is begging the people which is ineffective. People will not be pleased on this way we can tell that. But if they built the trust and they deserve it, then we will realize that we are the ones who would benefit from it, right?
1116  Other / Off-topic / Re: Online Game addicts=Worrying parents. on: May 17, 2021, 09:44:56 PM
I myself as a former gaming addiction (I would consider), with the right approach and proper guidance by the parents I think we can find the child’s balance between gaming and studying. But never ever threaten them or make ultimatums in a way that they have to stop. Communication is the key here.

I remember, when I was hooked with the eSports Game I play, no one could make me stop except power interruptions and that makes me mad and frustrated.

But with proper communication and the strong character of my parents, I was able to stop my addiction. The approach they did was to speak with me in a council setup, told me that gaming is good and I might have a good future for it. Complimented me with my commitment to be strong in the game, recognized my strengths such as my teamwork communication, analytical and critical skills, and then we jumped to consequences of me gaming over time. And I realized personally that I had to balance it. And there you go.
1117  Economy / Economics / Re: Preparing for a capital gains tax increase (US) on: May 17, 2021, 09:25:51 PM
I don't se this tax gain getting passed in the Senate, to me it is just to make noise because of the campaign promises he made during election campaign. I read somewhere that some of these Billionaires are getting divorced because of this coming Capital gain tax to protect themselves, rich people are not stupid and if it happens to pass, they will find a loop hole around it
Guess what, no financial advisor would give and advise and tell people that they should spend all the gains they had. And the majority of them would say to reinvest it so it won’t be taxable.

Taxation really is complex stuff. People could take advantage of it and break them, as well. And for that, I would suggest that people have to hire a great accountant to do the job. You can always have less tax without doing anything illegal. An accountant will handle it for you as there is a lot of tax options to help you ease it.
1118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dubai's Government and Gambling on: May 17, 2021, 09:19:14 PM
You are right - the economy will put everything in its place and if cryptocurrencies are an integral part of the future, then any religion will have to come to terms with it. Nikaka, the most totalitarian and strict religion, cannot resist the progression, because in this case it loses in the number of its admirers and dies out.

I don't think that the idea of cryptocurrency is incompatible with any of the religions. First of all, the basic idea of cryptocurrency is that of a digital asset which is protected against inflation as a result of controlled supply. I don't think that any of the Islamic tenets ban such an asset. As far as I know, Islam only bans taking interest on loans, which is not applicable for cryptocurrency. Even if there is some aspect of cryptocurrency not compatible with any religion, the leaders of that religion can create a new cryptocurrency that is compatible.
I don’t think releasing a license is possible in Dubai. Not even an approval to operate. No connection is stronger than their principles, values, and religion’s natural law.

Dubai has a majority of 80% Muslims. And in Muslim, gambling is “Haram”. Haram is something that is unacceptable and has to be stopped immediately. Unless you want yourself hanged or you beheaded.

Dubai is strict enough that even it’s their family member who would like to establish a gambling platform, they would point a gun at that one. Besides, gambling could not survive in Dubai, people won’t hesitate to avoid it because their rulers are good.
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: May 16, 2021, 09:47:13 PM
I dont feel the vaccine will take 100% effective and surely assured that you will never be infected by the virus.
I guess this is not a good step even they are vaccinated, it should always have even a face mask to avoid contamination from others, we don't know how immune we are to the virus, we should be careful always and this could be also a start to spread the virus there.

But let us see what will happen, they seem to experiment what will the result, if they will succeed and don't have an effect on the number of infected, it will I guess other countries will follow.
1120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk please stop messing up the crypto market on: May 15, 2021, 09:18:29 PM
Elon Musk is a clever man.  Because he is only doing this to increase his money.  And he wanted to be the richest man in the world forever. He took the Doge Coin to the moon. However, due to his excesses, the traders continue to ignore his fucking tweets and forbid everyone to follow his tweets.
Still many people follow Musk tweets. They will soon face huge losses. @CZ_binance also has been warning everyone about this
Even CZ was doing the same as Elon Musk, he also tweeted which coins are good to invest. These people are very well known in the crypto space and I don't why there are still people following them either it is a bad or a good decision.

There's nothing we can blame here is ourselves, we are old enough to think which right or wrong and if you think Elon Musk manipulating us, you can simply be avoided him and belong to your ignore list. (who cares)
Elon Musk will keep doping that because he knows that there are still listening to him.
