1221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what way to take profit ? on: April 14, 2021, 10:17:27 AM
Depending on what type of approach you would prefer. But if you are looking for a high-risk high reward game, and at the same time be involved with the development, I guess ICO/IPO is the best thing.

Looking for something more secure? Secure security tokens, it’s just that, KYC is required there so being anonymous isn’t a thing.

Buying Bitcoin before halving is also a good option, however, at this time with the rates we have, it’s kinda expensive and the rewards are not that much. But it still does reward anyway.
1222  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my trading is a fail help me, thanks on: April 14, 2021, 07:55:10 AM
The very basic rule in trading is patience. Based on how you compose your statement. It seems like you have an opportunity with being patient. If you want to be a successful trader, you had to make sure that your patience is associated.

You’ll never win in fact that you just barely started. There will be no shortcuts, you have to digest a lot of strategies, go ahead and scan, trade, lose and do it over and over again until you get it.

If you want your risk to be lessened, I think you might also consider platforms that let your assets be traded the same as professional traders. For now, that’s the best option. Then while that is happening, you may learn from the best.
1223  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Die testate with your Bitcoin. Death is inevitable on: April 14, 2021, 07:47:21 AM
I agree, death is inevitable and all of us will face the day. But it doesn’t mean your hard works when you were living will come to waste. You surely cannot bring your stuff when you die, but you can leave it to your next generation's genes and that’s already rewarding enough.

A firm with a very good reputation that can provide insurance using Bitcoin would be a very good idea. Not just that, if they can also provide services like being the security for your Bitcoins, that’s a bonus.
1224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Simpsons new prediction" on: April 14, 2021, 07:21:49 AM
What episode did this one show?

I’d like to see it with my own hands. Considering the quality of the cartoon/animation, it is easy for people to manipulate, create or revise it and still look real and legit. I’ve been seeing The Simpson’s prediction conspiracies, but I guess, the proof is still the best way to show the truth.

If this is true, the point that Bitcoin is on the screen, even when it was only around the late 1980s, I guess it will be considered strange and unbelievably good predictions. Showing Bitcoin as mainstream is just a bonus honestly.
1225  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New trader with 2000% unrealized gains in 2 months - how can I go further? on: April 12, 2021, 09:17:32 PM
In my opinion, I guess, these were not just pure luck. You had your motivation and courage to start trading. You should tokenize yourself by trying. Yes, you were lucky that the bull run has come after your joined. And that makes you successful (in short term).

Possibly, almost all of the traders today have the same success. But it doesn’t mean that you just had to stop here. You still have to learn.
I would suggest, wait for the next bear market. And that is where you had to learn your skills. Cause if you survived there, you can have yourself proven.
1226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The mayor of miami sells his city as the world's crypto capital on: April 12, 2021, 02:37:31 PM
It actually almost applies in Texas. It seems like both of these states (FLORIDA and TEXAS) are trying to compete. I’m not really sure but is it just a coincidence that both of these states almost work the same?

I heard that Texas officers are raising proposals to legalize bitcoin and become the second cryptocurrency-friendly state after WYOMING.

Now, going back, I just don’t feel right with their agendas why they’d like to make the city a bitcoin City.
And how investors are eager for the campaign to be approved. Is it because they have a lot of things they had to clean?
1227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Percent gains and losses on crypto on: April 12, 2021, 02:23:00 PM
It pays to have a manual tracker even once. I guess, for now, it would be hard for you to find what was your original investment amount in Bitcoin.

Even your transactions history couldn’t help you with that (in coinable)

But I would suggest for you to move on and start over again. But at that time, you make sure to manually track at least the first 5 in and outs you had on your wallet. (In case you would like to stay in your exchange preference) Also, that’s extra work to exchange. Their business model might also be affected by it. But I guess, that’s a good idea.
1228  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are you doing when you make your way down? on: April 12, 2021, 02:01:25 PM
Two big waves of having are about to come before the fourth quarter of 2022. So I guess I would also keep holding as we know how volatile the market is. I’ve been keeping mine for quite some time now and I am more than happy with my previous decision. Short on future is actually a good thing, but it is somehow near/almost gambling. That’s why I cannot afford to risk it.

I guess I’m good with the risk I’m currently with. Like I find holding hard already. The temptation is really there. But your impulsiveness is a thing I have been fighting over for years now.
1229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: April 12, 2021, 01:39:13 PM
Important Note : If you're jobless don't get into gambling, I'm an example. I don't have a job, and that's the reason I wasn't able to keep me deviated from gambling. Hope this helps someone.
Only greedy person will gamble even if he don't have money or any source of income, I wonder how you can able to borrow funds without having any collateral, that's too risky on the side of the lender. This kind of attitude in gambling is not good, many failed on this because they treat gambling as a real business.
The fact and reality.
Based on the numbers you had, it seems like you were able to build trust with people. Those numbers are hard to ask people. My point is, if they were able to lend you. Means that they trust you. That you can handle the money they lend, maybe they’ve seen something on you.

So, if that’s the case I don’t see any problem for you to recover. It seems like you were able to build yourself before. You can still rebuild but learn from your mistake. That’s one of the biggest lessons you had.

I hope you don’t lose hope and still keep going. Motivate people, stay gambling but for fun. I’ve been there and had the same experience. Our difference is that you’re stronger than me by being able to share it.
1230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You won today, but then you will lose often on: April 10, 2021, 10:41:21 PM
How to get rid of gambling addiction?
As in your case you can't stop playing by yourself it's better to ask someone else's help, otherwise you are going to waste all your money playing without limits. If there are close family members around you, talk to them about your addiction and ask for help. Together you will find a reasonable solution to avoid worse consequences.
But if you are alone, you need to seek for professional help or you can start training your self control skills step by step. You won't overcome this addiction instantly, but with some effort you can achieve the cure on long run.
That's good advice and you are exactly right.
Gambling addiction is just an illness of people who had obsessing in any type of gambling where can't control themselves. This commonly happened because they can't even control themselves in gambling which is a common cause of neglecting bills and expenses and using the money for gambling. And the possible consequences of selling your all assets and when there is no left it will I guess stealing money to continue gamble and possible will result of loss of house, job, car, or other personal possessions, possible your wife and kids too. That's insane.

It's better to avoid cases like this while it's too early.
1231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US idea to counter China attack with bitcoin on: April 09, 2021, 08:17:45 AM
This is misleading as China has been advertised banning/blocking cryptocurrency in their country. And actually, someone spills the tea that China is planning to spend around a 6Billion $ just to shrink Bitcoin’s value by mining empty blocks.

The U.S is actually the one who was accepted Bitcoin to the fullest extent compared to all the countries involved. So I’m not really sure about this thread. You I guess will check articles about it to make sure. Hope this helps.
1232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do I need to pay Tax on my Crypto Gambling Winnings? A guide on: April 09, 2021, 08:00:20 AM
A common question that I see asked is "do I need to pay tax on my crypto gambling winnings?".
^ Most of the best gambling platforms would actually tax you the onset of claiming your prize.
I used to hate taxes as it gets a big chunk of your profit. Like why?
Especially when you worked hard for it, but now I realized how rewarding paying tax is. I was able to access finance by providing them proof of my taxes, seriously.

It also applies to gambling, but I wouldn’t recommend gamblers to access finance to gamble. You’ll just add fire to the risks you are taking. And we should just enjoy gambling without being serious. It would take us to a different level of despair if we did. Going back, when I was gambling, the platform automatically taxes me if I get big wins. But most of the time it’s nontaxable since I only place small bets.
1233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: April 09, 2021, 06:45:11 AM
Kids do not know how things work yet, their money is from their parents as well. So letting kids go and play gambling is like ruining their families financially. Never ever decide to do it.

Why it's necessary to touch the financial matter, gambling does not really take all your finances if you are discipline with it, a kid that is gambling and their parents know it is better than parents not knowing their kids are gambling. At least they can guide their kids on the right way to gamble,.. I know in some countries is bad but there are some countries who tolerate this and I think it's not really a big problem at all since gambling is already part of our daily lives.
I guess it means prone to addiction and it will never stop from gambling until all funds and poverty will lose.

As mentioned above, I couldn’t agree more that young adults are the best brackets that produce fortune to gambling platforms. I can attest as one of them (within the same bracket) as I personally have been identified as impulsive before and I will admit it.

The bad thing about being a young adult is that you will always think that there’s always away and there is a lot of options. You will be flooded by things that will make you careless. But when bad luck hits you, you’re dead.

Teenagers can also be considered if they wish. Like this isn’t new at all. There’s a lot of teens gambling on informal gambling platforms. They also breach the requirements by using someone’s identity. Well, that’s life right?
1234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Major differences between investment and gambling. on: April 09, 2021, 06:15:12 AM
i can agree with your b,c,d but for letter a the returns in investment are high because like you said in your letter b , the wait is also long and in gambling the returns arent always high but depending on the gambler if he prefer to play in low odds with more chance of win or he wants high return ( high odds ) but chance to win are harder  .
The same on me, I don’t really understand why people think of investment as gambling. Like how the hell did that happen? Or should I say, did they really had an investment once in their life to tell? It is very simple. If you make an investment, you will get an asset. Tangible or non-tangible, it’s still an asset you can liquidate just in case something worst happened. You have the security, you have the rights to use your asset and of course, earn at the same time. So associating it with gambling is non-sense, indeed.

Gambling doesn’t give any assurance, you’ll never get assets once you get your cash in. Just tokens or credits you can use to lose, and only exclusive to be liquidated within your casino platform. Risk is not avoidable, it’s a matter of luck, not chance.
1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Haney vs Linares - May 29 on: April 09, 2021, 05:39:02 AM
But When they are at the same age and level? their ability and capacity is almost the same as i Have watched Manny Pacquiao Grow Old.
I guess it is but there are too many factors to consider.
I choose Haney here, good luck to him.

The great fighter has all it takes to take him down. Sportsbooks are somehow accurate making the odds.

However, I can see how passionate this young boy is. He might have a chance to take Linares Down but it is very least as Linares has a strong defense. I will be rooting with Linares on this match and the experience perspective he is in advantage. If you are a true fan, you will see how Linares being trained to prepare for this match.
1236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Major differences between investment and gambling. on: April 08, 2021, 11:12:32 PM
~snip~
(a) In investing, you expect moderate returns, whereas in gambling, the returns expected are very high and sometimes very ridiculous.
Whatever it is, they have the same goal to earn profit.
Just like a coin, they had the same risk in the same face but on another side they have different both the same goal, to earn money.
But the good side ion investing is in the long run you will still able to gain profit while gambling there is an expected negative return that will I guess burn out all your money.

That is why we always advise people that should always think to gamble only if they can afford it, not too much pay attention to gambling if you did not have enough time.
1237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Haney vs Linares - May 29 on: April 08, 2021, 11:02:33 PM
I guess I will go for Haney here and it will I guess Linares belongs to the underdog odds.
Both fighters are aggressive and have a good previous fought. You will never tell if who's gonna win but if you will look at the record, Haney has a great advantage, with zero losses, 15 by knockout, and 10 by decision is pretty good stats if you will be compared to Linares.

Let's see and wait because even me, I have doubted where I'm going to place may bet and its looks like they are both good fighter.
1238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most entertaining Twitch gambling streamer? on: April 08, 2021, 10:52:26 PM
Most of the casino streamers are like actors, playing with sponsored money and playing fake emotions, not interested in that.
Good point. Often they are playing on demo accounts without real money, but obviously they pretend that everything is real there. And when casino are using such actors for promotion, IMO it doesn't gives good image about casino.
But even if streamer is honest, watching how someone gamble is something out of my interest.
Exactly, you both nailed it.
Streamers are most likely paid to have a promotion in a certain gambling casino that want them to have in their stream. That's possible a sponsored game from them which is totally fake and Twitch is well known for that activity.

However, here is the list of the fake casino streamers and most of them are on the Twitch streaming platform.
https://casino-israel.com/top-5-fake-casino-streamers/

So, how they promote those very questionable casinos? I guess no one will watch them.
1239  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sites that allow player to player transfers / tips on: April 08, 2021, 10:40:45 PM
Exactly, every gambling sites that have a tip feature if I'm not wrong here but I think that won't help and will I guess some of them afraid of giving tips because there is a chance that you will be suspected as one of your alternate accounts, it will I guess put your account in risk.

I don't know if begging or asking tips still prohibited on the site, I played Bustadice a long time ago and I think that is their rules, not to ask or begging tips. As advice to anyone before doing this, it should be better if you will read the TOS first.
1240  Economy / Economics / Re: Janet Yellen to call for unified global corporate tax rate on: April 07, 2021, 10:29:29 PM
Too entitled to propose these types of ideas. I think the best thing to make the economy great again is to enhance financing with better rates, not to increase tax. I find it stupid to increase corporate tax alone, of course making all countries calibrated is much worst. I don’t think this will work.

I highly understand that corporations might be earning more, but the stress, time, and risk they take are somehow different from normal people. If that’s the case, they would choose to be a normal person instead of giving the best out of their businesses.
