Can't wait to see how Manchester United is going to perform with Ten Hag in the Champions League because I know this team can be even stronger when Ten Hag chose the players for the next season and some players like Rasmus Hojlund and Onana join this team and help them in the next season. Although they have made significant progress, it is noteworthy that there is still ample opportunity for improvement for them in comparison to teams like Manchester City and Real Madrid.
1/4 final at best for Man Utd I think, they haven’t done anything impressive so far in the summer transfer market. That can change quickly of course but I don’t see them as a serious option to win it. Man City will be favourites but the usual suspects will be there until the latter stages, PSG, Barca, Real etc. Napoli didn’t get stripped of all their playing assets as I expected so they could be a dark horse.

@FabrizioRomano Jurgen Klopp: “It's definitely important to strengthen in mifield. We have to do something, that is clear”. 🔴 #LFC “We are working on solutions. AUS 61/1 at end of day 1, chasing 283 set by ENG in their 1st innings. Let’s see what happens in the morning session tomorrow but definitely advantage AUS at the moment. Things can change within a few overs though so let’s see what happens.

The problem with normies is that they can't maths.
They completely laugh and scoff at bitcoin as a valid investment, all the while losing money in the equities market vs. inflation.
You could easily make the case that bitcoin roughly doubles in value every 4 years as measured from it's lowest bear market point to lowest bear market point. (Yes it's probably more than that, I know, but I'm just being conservative here).
Still, extrapolated, that's ~ +25% gain year over year. Show me ANY other investment that *consistently* does that, that Average Joe can invest in long term.
I'll wait, normies...
and then they wonder why they are poor....
There’s definitely a reason they HFSP. I think most of us here have a different way of thinking to the average guy, different personality traits. Most people stick with safe, low interest savings accounts, they are very risk averse. Those of us who were early and have done well in bitcoin are a different breed, risk takers, entrepreneurial minds. We want more for our lives than the average guy and we seek out ways to facilitate that. It just so happens that bitcoin has given us opportunities in life that most people don’t get. Cheers.

England is struggling at the oval Test, having lost 8 wickets before reaching 300 runs. They are finding it tough to handle the fast bowlers from Australia, which makes it difficult for them to score enough runs. Summing up their current performance, it's unlikely England will be able to achieve a 2-2 score-line in the fifth Test match. I believe Australia will take the Ashes.
AUS have already retained The Ashes due to the bad weather in the 4th test. The series can now only end up 2-2 and that’s if ENG win this final test. It’s a shame it had to end like that but the holder of The Ashes retains them if the series is a draw. ENG 283 all out, you are right in saying AUS are in the ascendency here. ENG may have had momentum if they had rightfully won the 4th test. As it is, this 5th test is for nothing other than pride for ENG as The Ashes are gone for them.

@BritishHodl New BTC All Time High BEFORE The Halving IS possible - especially now. With the approval of a BTC ETF fast approaching with BlackRock's application. You have to wonder what the demand increase will do to the price of BTC. Well, Sean Farrell says that an ETF approval could lead to a $25bn demand in the first year, this is roughly $100m PER DAY. The current equilibrium supply is $25m a day of Demand. So once an ETF is approved, demand could exceed $125m per day for BTC.. This means the price would have to go up to meet the demand increase based on today's supply of BTC - and no other FOMO kicking in as price rises. It projects that if the ETF is approved & trading before the halving, and the increase in demand is seen as projected ($25bn) the equilibrium price would have to be $140,000 per BTC BEFORE the halving supply shock and rush of capital post halving. Can we get to $140,000 BTC BEFORE the halving subject to ETF approval? I found this perspective by @SeanMFarrell & @fundstrat fascinating. When ETF? https://twitter.com/britishhodl/status/1683873088667000834

@MDBitcoin BlackRock's Spot BTC ETF is a game-changer, capable of instigating an instant 150k #BTC demand. (Bringing at least $20B-40B in new demand)👀 Institutional FOMO on Bitcoin is not just possible, but a matter of time between 2023-2026. Small to large nation FOMO is on the horizon, adding to the unpredictable yet promising price of Bitcoin. Despite bearish takes on #Bitcoin Twitter, the future growth of BTC is a narrative you can't afford to ignore. https://twitter.com/mdbitcoin/status/1683173403308466176I don’t think there is a better quote than the below to sum up what is about to happen - “It might make sense just to get some in case it catches on. If enough people think the same way, that becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.” — Satoshi Nakamoto

Looks like the fourth day is going to be a wash out in the Ashes. It’s raining heavily, doesn’t look like we will get much, if any play today. England need 6 wickets with two days to get them. Hopefully the weather clears up and they can level the series tomorrow.
The rain delay can be a blessing in disguise for Australia. The way things are going right now Australia is in big trouble. They have already lost four wickets. Australia is still trailing by 162. With six wickets in hand, it does not seem like Australia will be able to do a whole lot to give England a good target. It is going to be great for Australia if the fourth day absolutely washes out. Because if that happens, Australia can start playing on the fifth day and just play out the whole day. The equation is simple. If Australia has to play in the fourth day, they will be in trouble. On the hand England would hope that the rain stops and they can resume playing. They currently have the upper hand in this test match. Winning it would give them a genuine chance of winning the Ashes series. However if this match ends in a draw Englands best outcome would be to draw the series. Would be disappointing if the 4th test ends as a draw as it means AUS would retain the Ashes regardless of what happens in the 5th test. I don’t think even AUS would like to be victorious thanks to the weather. As it stands ENG need 6 wickets. Hopefully they get at least the full day tomorrow to do that. Would be good to get a few overs today if weather permits but it’s not looking good at the moment.

@FabrizioRomano Klopp on new signings: “We’re around 3/4 weeks until first game, a few things have to happen until then. Definitely”. 🔴 #LFC “It will happen, and we will have a good team. Trust us. We’ll do our best to have a season we will never forget”. https://twitter.com/fabrizioromano/status/1682688321003061249I'm curious which players Liverpool would like to bring into the team to take on Manchester City. To be honest I don't think Liverpool will be competitive next season. City will most likely dominate the league again even without great newcomers. City will be big favourites for sure, they are losing Walker, Gundogan, Mahrez though. Bernardo Silva wants to leave too and De Bruyne is nearly 33. Maybe they peaked last season and will begin a small decline. It might not be enough to lose the title but other teams may get closer. Regarding Liverpool, Henderson and Fabinho are leaving soon, both going to Saudi Arabia. I think a defensive midfielder will come in when they finally leave. World Cup winning midfielder Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai are already here, they will improve the midfield.
