9001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: January 08, 2017, 11:22:36 AM
well actually they are both risky but if you are going to invest in a real company or something like that will last for a long time and you know that your money is safe in that company then it is more better in it,rather than trying your luck or putting your money at risk at some gambling site's but if you're just looking to have fun then gambling is more suitable for you

Nothing will seriously safe you when those companies take your money away. One thing for sure is that there will always be a risk and you cant really hope for anything that doesnt come with a risk. If you wish to go for something that doesnt really have a risk then gambling or gambling site investment is definitely not the thing for you
True, all investment do have risk on lossing money even on investments not related to gambling and you are right we cant assure anytime even we put our money on reputable company because anytime they could able to ran off all the money of their investors which is really part on investments theres no guarantee anytime.
9002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do they payout bigger wins at Sports.betcoin.ag on: January 08, 2017, 10:36:34 AM
is this site legit ? guys ?
Yes they are legit and been operating for how many months now or a year as far as i know but they are facing some issues on previous months which i have read i dont know if they settled it already or not and regarding on the OP's questions my friends do play at betcoin.ag doesnt have any problems regarding payout but i dont know in pay outing over $1000.
9003  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many Bitcoins are lost forever? on: January 08, 2017, 07:36:17 AM
Just look at the number of inactive bitcoins that havent moved in at least 2-3 years. Those coins should be >90% inactive.

They may not be lost, but its highly unlikely that they will be moved ever again. Now somebody make a script and parse through the blockchain for such transactions.

It would be interesting to know how many inactive addresses there are there.
>90% is just a huge percentage which is somehow impossible basing on the movement of bitcoin addresses throughout the blockchain but well you have said this thing then i wont argue.Thats a good news that someone create a script on which knows how many inactive addresses are there but one things for sure those addresses are composed of lost bitcoins and some are just built for storage for long term investments.
9004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: altcoin mining on: January 07, 2017, 06:13:59 PM
at the time of the first bitcoin the level of difficulty was low and mining could be done with personal computers. can i do altcoin mining with my laptop? if yes, which altcoin do you recommend?
Mining altcoin is laptop is possible but dont expect too much on it since it will only give you small amounts and also the risk of burning up your laptop in no time because it cant withstand the heat specially when you are mining on non-stop or 24 hours. There are lots of alts could possible mined but you will need a good GPU on that one.
9005  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: any bot for trading? on: January 07, 2017, 05:25:42 PM
Don't use bots. They are ultimately inferior to humans and can't predict market trends. It's risky.
I cant think of any bots that is being used on trading in either crpyto or in forex/stocks since i do it manually and you are right if were to choose among two i would rather to trade manually because there are really some things that bot cant do and also trading bots do really need to be set manually and if you dont have too much trading experience that will be still useless.
9006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which bitcoin gambling site is your favorite place to go? on: January 07, 2017, 03:18:44 PM
This depends on which game suits your interest and there are lots of website to choose from, for dice games ive used to play on bitsler before but now i switch to bitdice which you could able to see on my signature because i like to try new platform and i really like it.When we are talking about other game then i like bustabit and satoshimines.
9007  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What the you think is the best Crypto currency trading site? on: January 07, 2017, 07:34:11 AM
I have been trading since last year. Though I earn profit from that nowadays, it's less than a half that I earn last year because its volume is decreasing. Now, I am looking for another trading site which has a huge volume but requires low fee per transaction. I would appreciate each answer:)

I don't stick to one trading platform, I started trading first at Ccex for few months, I like Ccex cause its very user friendly.. Now i am trading @ Poloniex, Bittrex, Cryptopia, Yobit etc... as for there are coins I do support from those exchages... It is much better not to put our eggs in one basket.. We earn profit from coins we trade just pick the right one.... so we should not trade only one exchage...happy earnings everyone...

I agree with you on this statement, I have been using some exchanges and I like to explore the system of each exchange. I usually prefer yobit (not because I am promoting them with signature but I find it user friendly and never had any serious issue with them), localbitcoins (Because sometimes, I need various payment options) and now I am trading on 1Broker (they have variety of trading platforms such as crypto, stocks, commodities, forex, indices etc).
we have our own opinion on each exchanges but knowing yobit there are lots of complaints regarding on these exchange and i could able to read it every now and then unlike other reputable exchanges which really dont have any issues its either on withdrawal or deposits or any other stuff.
9008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: January 07, 2017, 06:26:05 AM
I am just wondering if you still would gamble if you would have enough money? I mean, now as it is, do you gamble for the fun or for the profit?
If i do have the money then why not?I would definitely play but i would set my limit on playing it because i dont like to waste of my money on playing gambling. If im super rich and money is not already a problem then i will play for entertainment purposes. Some people gamble for profits and some for entertainment.
9009  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Steam accepting btc - will it affect the forum market? on: January 05, 2017, 05:11:17 PM
Steam will allow bitcoin to become more popular over the time, but currently i doubt the most people that has accounts theres does know bitcoin at all, sure if media start to talk about bitcoin once again, we will see people getting more interested at bitcoin, but i doubt the recent pump has been caused by this community.

Yeah, whatever will definitely happen in the growth of the bitcoin. but it is just something that is reasonable, so if we can have patience is good then we will give you a good profit. The media is very influential in the growth of the bitcoin, but media only as an intermediary only and we have to provide the mandatory action or notification. If we want only the advantage only in the bitcoin without helping to create a bitcoin higher then it is the thing that will surely make you greedy and you end up losing it all

Media would really be a good medium on bitcoins adoption but we all know that they are against with it because government will surely block the way on introducing it.Steam doesnt have an impact on bitcoins price in my own opinion but still a good way on making use of bitcoin on their service.
9010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: i bought 1000eth when 12$ .buy or sell now? what's the future? price is 6$ !! on: January 05, 2017, 03:20:35 PM
OP had some small chance of getting his money back when ethereum was keeping its price up with manipulation and bitcoin price was going to the moon but now price fell and eth is cheap again.
the only hope OP has is to wait and hope for a possible pump from the ethereum whales in the future.
If im on the situation of OP i would really do the same thing on which holding my eth rather than panic sell off my coins on cheap price.I would take the risk on holding it further more and seeing the price of ETH its already climbing up now and its really a good indication that ETH will increase its price in the long run.
9011  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How and where do I store my bitcoins? on: January 05, 2017, 02:03:37 PM
I actually store my bitcoins in my electrum wallet in my laptop. its safe. I also advice every one to not store bitcoins in exchanges. Already, we have seen some exchanges hacked.
You are right its not really safe to store bitcoins on exchange wallets and as you said possibilities of getting hacked is there and the risk of losing our hard earned bitcoin is there also.I would like really like to suggest to store bitcoin on hardware wallets because you do have the full control on it as long you posses the private keys the security would really be more secure.
9012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: January 05, 2017, 01:07:17 PM
playing with profit of course is a good strategy and safe. I always do this to keep my bankroll. so that I don't lose it all in an instant.
it is a step that can make us not lose all the money we have. with the strategy we can arrange how the steps we will do.
if appropriate then we can make a profit with pleasure.
Bankroll will depend on how you gonna manage it because if your a type of person who is greedy then that bankroll wouldnt last too long because you will surely bet on big amounts and not minding the possible circumtances or results that might happen thats why if we already gain or profited a decent percentage on your bankroll then its the best time to go out.
Firstly, I think you should decide on how much you should start with your bank roll. How much you're willing to lose (if ever) as long as your ready. I don't want to use my profits when I win bets. I will put it into my cold storage and never gonna touch it again unless really need to.
How do you compute for your bank roll though? Do you also get money from you cold storage as addition to your bank roll for the next time you bet? If you have so much money in your cold storage will you increase your bank roll per session or will it remain the same? Whenever I play nowadays I usually just play with my winnings, as I just refill my bankroll on the next session anyway. So I just compute my winnings as a new bank roll.
Regardless of bankroll you will surely get from your cold storage or wallet because if we decide to play gambling we really need money to do that therefore we get money on our pockets and thats the time we use that money to earn money and if you are not lucky enough that amount will lose and you will try to deposit even more to chase your lose.

9014  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Basics on: January 04, 2017, 08:22:33 AM
Bitcoin is virtual currency.

bitcoin is not virtual, it is pretty real. please stop using that word for bitcoin.
this topic has some good arguments against these types of words being used to describe bitcoin, I suggest giving it a read: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1733918.0
Digital and virtual is just the same but people do use it seems like a real currency. If we do read the white paper of bitcoin we could really see that it is created for peer to peer transaction without any 3rd party involved. On the given link Op could really learned from that more regarding into bitcoin.
9015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: January 04, 2017, 06:25:40 AM
To control ourselves is one of the essential point in gambling because if you don't you are bound to lose everything very fast since you will keep betting hoping to somehow get your money back, something that is very unlikely by the way.
yes and i think controlling yourself whether to stop or keep playing in gambling are the key to having profit or not. it is the most important part , unfortunately a lot of people prefer to follow their greedy to keep playing till lost everything.

and hard to realize that never easy to having full control to stop when you are up in profit.

It is a key to stop losing at all because as we know that we are into a winning streak, our feelings are bringing us into an emotion where we are always excited because we don't care anymore when we lose. So instead of keep on gambling by the same day, just manage to control your emotion and stop for a while because you are already a winner for that day.

Definitely Right, you will just get upset the whole day when your already a winner and turns to be a loser on the same day. So better practice having a discipline and self control in gambling.
I realy know how that feels when you already experience to be a winner and suddenly  you became a loser because you lost all your winnings in a short period of time which is really frustrating and when that happen you will rage and emotion will go out and the possibility of depositing again is high.
9016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beta Bitcoin Casino on: January 04, 2017, 05:16:59 AM
Nice site, if it's your site, I'd suggest moving it to the gambling section and creating a proper announcement thread.

There are some bugs, when I open the homepage, nothing shows up, and you can't register if you accidentally forget to tick the little box accepting the terms. If you can get these fixed, you might be able to attract more users.
Correct,i would suggest the same thing too because i do experience it also when i try to surf the gambling site. You would definitely find some bugs and it still need some fix and modification as superhightech said move it to gambling section and create a proper Announcement thread but first before you do this better to fix the site so that when you able to announce it no one would able to complain just my suggestion.
9017  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - 100BTC MAX WIN, WAGERING CONTEST! 1ST PRIZE 1 BTC ENDS JAN 2ND on: January 03, 2017, 05:30:58 PM
I play a lot here, do you have plan to add sportsbook? If you are bigger and bigger, I hope you should add it.
Makes no sense to.If they try to fetch the best of both the worlds, they would hardly survive the niche competitors from both the words. You know anyone will play dice game on directbet over BitDice ? Or SportsBets at BitDice over directbet ? I think not.
This is the best answer related to the question because Dice and Sports are on different world and they do have different field. It would really cost you more if you tend to operate them both on a single website and for me its better to focus on one rather than having those two things.
9018  Economy / Services / Re: Download this link and get paid 0.01 BTC [US,GB,AU,FR] on: January 03, 2017, 04:30:36 PM
Seeing the trust level of OP seems like no one trust on this crap and reading above that no one is being paid after doing the said task and into my part i would not tend to download unknown files from unknown people on online world you wouldnt know if its a virus or malware. So stay away with this.
9019  Economy / Economics / Re: The Future of Bitcoin Is Not as a Digital Currency on: January 03, 2017, 03:42:34 PM
I am pretty sure bitcoin will become future digital currency, the enthusiatic of bitcoin user is very high, and the transaction flow of this coin is really high, and in the future there will be more user used bitcoin as currency, and beside of that bitcoin also can become investment, so there will be more and more people used bitcoin

I agree with you. Bitcoin will become a global, alternative currency to US dollar and Euro. People will use it to do more transaction with each other. Every day the transactions are growing and more users are getting to the game. People are using bitcoin as a store of value which shows their confidence in bitcoin.
I dont think so that bitcoin would able to compete with the most powerful currency on the entire globe and i believe that bitcoin would remain as a digital currency only and would stay on its place. If bitcoin would be a global currency they should focus first on how to centralized it because if they cant do it then they would not recognize it for sure.
9020  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes in trading that lead to loss of money on: January 03, 2017, 02:25:16 PM
When I was new, I started trading with altcoins and I do not make enough research as I only follow the rules which is to buy low and sell high. Now, I realize that this crypto trading requires me to be updated of the news of a specific asset I am trading, truly you will mature eventually.
Sometimes a new update from developer of the following altcoins really matter to what happen to the price in the future so that's why keeping you updated into the latest news would be an additional point to make your trading success but without it you can still make a profit by being aware with the circumstances and got some ton of luckyness
In trading field luck is indeed needed as you said if you are aware on the circumstances then you might get good profits on it but as a trader you should really train or learn yourself into the important things should be considered on doing trading not only fully relying on those informations that you heard somewhere.Having research would really a big help most of the time.
