9061  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WE pledge WE won't let Bitcoin die... [RESPONSE to "If bitcoin died tomorrow"] on: December 25, 2016, 07:47:45 AM
Bitcoin is just a money and does have value but theres no need to praise it too much like saying those words. Everything on this world is not permanent which means bitcoin would definitely die but not on these days. We should really accept the fact.Even I, dont really like this thing to happen into bitcoin because its really useful for most people who uses it.
9062  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitfinex - Funding. Yes or No? on: December 23, 2016, 08:48:04 AM
Better not to support this site anymore. Once it happened already, the vulnerability of the site is there. And the possibility that it can be hacked again is always there. Even though bitfinex is doing hard to get back the trust of the people still better to be safe than to be sorry in the end. Take the risk if you want, but we warned you.

I personally don't believe Bitfinex was hacked, but opinions on this might be different. However, no matter what has happened, a fair amount of its major traders are still making use of Bitfinex because its interface and such is more appealing to them when it comes to marginal trading and all that. But still, their trading volumes are still not recovered, and that's mostly due to the fact that a certain number of traders have left that exchange. That being said, I wonder where they might have gone as I don't see a serious increase of volume on other exchanges which might indicate that Bitfinex's old traders have gone there.

OP - I wouldn't make use of Bitfinex, but if you think it's the right exchange for you, and you make a decent amount of money, then just continue your business there. But don't forget what has happened a few months ago.

Well we don't know if they are just hiding in the reason of being hacked or they really don't want to admit that they really stole their investors fund. Because it is very easy to say, "hey were hacked, all the funds got by hacker." Well that is making a lot of trust removed with them.
But for op, yeah if he gets good result then let him continue with his way.
Agree with this one on which any exchanges or anyone could say that they are being hacked and shows it to public but the possibilities of an inside job is always there and some people would really think of it that they are the ones who stole on its investors money but no one would really know about the truth since we are on this cryptoworld.

And there is only one sure thing about bitfinex, their trust now has already being stained. Many investors pulled out already their funds to them and that's now being followed by some investors but there is also no doubt that there are some enthusiast investors that are keeping their faith to BF and looking forward to its revenge in the market.
Yes,its already putted by stained on which trust is already lessen since its being easily hacked by someone and investors and traders would really dount now if they would still remain or pull-out and as you said most of them pull out their funds and some stay on the platform and we cant blame them since they do have still remaining trust on the exchange site.
9063  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Renting Hash Power, is it profitable? on: December 23, 2016, 07:41:38 AM
Well, I rent hash power on nicehash and I spend 0.01 btc. after spending all of it, I only got 0.0004 in return. is renting hash power profitable? then why many people still renting hash power on them. am I doing something wrong?

First ask yourself why Nicehash are renting out hash power. Did it not occur to you that their rigs are not profitable for themselves? The purpose of renting out hash power is to transfer their risk to you. You are the hedge in their risk of their mining operation. So the answer to your question is a simple no.

This is exactly how to think about it. If I can make $100 mining with the hardware, why would I do MORE work (I still run the hardware, but now I also have to deal with accounting, user maintenance, etc.) and charge less than $100? Hint: I wouldn't. It doesn't make business sense.
This means both option are not profitable but the advantage on doing hardware mining is the possibility of gaining profits specially if the cost of electricity on your place is cheap and regarding on the maintenance i could say it really adds up the expenses and mining on hardware would be okay if you do have lots of it not only on operating on a single miner, you are just wasting your time.Renting hashpower is not profitable in any way since difficulty is rising and most of them are just scams.

how much your probvably fair in your site
What do you mean about how much provably fair in the site? Provably fair means having random seed or hash on very bet you made so it means theres no manipulation or rigged bets.I know what you are trying to say is about how much will be the house edge on the site, you could able to calculate it easily.
9065  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your news strategy? on: December 23, 2016, 05:25:53 AM
This is part of the hard work should definitely done by a trader on which we should do search for new news on daily basis specially when we are investing on a particular coin and as you said my head really aches when i saw the altcoin announcement which will you see lots of altcoin is launched on daily basis thats why its really confusing on which one you will choose. Here my way im just searching or seeking a roadmap into a particular alt.
9066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone recommend a site to start trading altcoins? on: December 23, 2016, 04:30:29 AM
Best trading site platforms are already being mentioned by most members who have posted here and my best choice is Poloniex since they have the largest volume on each coin you want to trade.Bittrex is also good and c-cex which i have already tried to trade on this sites and i could say its really okay for me specially the support features.

9068  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Antminer (or other) on: December 22, 2016, 12:56:48 PM
Just as mentioned above you should not proceed to buy miners and those miners you mentioned is outdated already since the latest one is s9 miner and considering the electricity cost on your place i would really say that its already a bad idea to mine bitcoin and if i were you i would choose to buy bitcoin itself rather than on mining it because if you will mine you would surely waste off your time and effort and ROI would be very long.
9069  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: best online btc wallet on: December 22, 2016, 10:12:24 AM

9073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: December 20, 2016, 03:40:33 PM
zcash was only good and hot the first couple of days and then it is all downhill from there and it will not stop until this coin is completely dead in the waters. there is not much interest for any kind of serious investment.
Indeed, this coin is just really became famous because of the hype being built in the first place but when it launches on a high price then all investors just dump the price so hard which causes it falls to the bottom and now still continuing to drop furthermore and i dont see any future on this coin.
9074  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW MUCH YOU EARN/LOSE FROM TRADING on: December 20, 2016, 03:30:53 PM
I make probably around a few dollars a week trading. It varies because some weeks the price changes a lot and you can make a lot of trades. Other weeks the price hardly moves at all and you may only make a handful of trades.
yes to me it is also not fixed, as some time i make good profit while other time it become hard for me to make money and some time i also compromise on lost. but over all i am making good money from trading and that is the reason that i am still interested in trading.
That's right and we cannot calculate the exact amount of money that we are earning from trading, as sometimes it can give us good profits and very next day it may bring loss for us and profits and loss will always be an part and parcel of trading but if you are good in trading then you can recover your loss very easily.

Yes it is unpredictable job when we are flow of trading we cannot able to calculate how much we are loosing and how much we are gaining but only thing we have to remember is how much we have invested and how much we are making we have to find that is easier for us instead of how much we are loosing. Because out of all investment we cannot able to make profit but only in some, so it will vary so we cannot able to keep track those things.
Even transaction fee deducting by the exchanges.
True,we cant really state or calculate the exact number since there are lots of fees and other deductions included specially on withdrawals and sell out orders. We could really say it directly if we are lossing or profiting on just seeing on the account balance do we have because if you see that your capital grows then that indicates your in profits but you see its decreasing then you already know.
9075  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: December 20, 2016, 03:21:47 PM
Each of us really experience this kind of emotion or feeling on which we are disappointed on doing trading since most of us have high hopes that doing trading could able to make us or generate us huge amounts of money but the reality we would really need to work and effort and also have a good knowledge about it.We cant really avoid the thing of having lose of money which really makes me disappoint.
9076  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What would you want from a NEW coin? on: December 20, 2016, 03:05:48 PM
I dont want to ask more new coin since bitcoin is already enough for me and i think all the needs and features on a good coin is already on bitcoin so i wont ask for more and its too hassle to think that making a new coin and feels like we start all over again.I dont think satoshi will come out just to do that dumb thing.
9077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moment of silence for Ethereum please.... on: December 20, 2016, 02:52:00 PM
Ethereum is not going to die - not this year or the year after that. Y'all accept it and move on with your individual lives.
I dont know why people bother too much on this issue since all of altcoin do suffer this kind of stuff on which they dump its price for a particular reason and regarding to ETH i dont think it would die on this year and its really impossible and we already witness the previous hacks and events that really suffer or affect eths price but still its standing.
9078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Idiot-Proof Vault: A Simple Cold Storage Guide on: December 20, 2016, 01:45:24 PM
This Article seems to be just a way for bitcoin.com to promote their paper wallet service https://tools.bitcoin.com/paper-wallet/ which is not more than fork of bitaddress.org

I prefer to generate bitcoin address in my offline computer using bitaddress source code, trusting any online paper wallet generator can be risky.
Im thinking the same thing too on which this is somehow like a promotion for their paper wallet.Same as your i would not tend to use their service because exposing your source code online is really risky because someone already knows your code and its better to do it offline.
9079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Zcash 10$ +/- on: December 20, 2016, 12:16:37 PM
There are really stupid people keep on mining regardless on the founders fee of 20% which is really to high. They are really feeding the devs while they are just earning on small amounts. As you said this thing will surely happen it will dropped its price lower than 0.02 or even more.We could really say the future of this coin and which its price will dump to the lowest.

I think that the stupid ones are the buyers and the hodlers.
The miners do it for profit; no strings attached. If this coin gives them more profit than another coins they tried (ETH?!), with or without the fee, they'll stay and mine. When this will change and the price will be too low for profit, or at least lower than the coin next door, they'll migrate. (Actually I think that many started to migrate already, keeping some sort of odd balance between the price and the difficulty.)
Sorry ive mentioned about miners which i actually mean those people who buys and holds zcash.Miners would really do their job since they gain profits on mining the coins and as you said i do agree they will surely migrate if they found out that they are not already profitable enough on a certain coin.
9080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Zcash 10$ +/- on: December 20, 2016, 10:00:00 AM
Founders start burning that 20!  Or Zcash will go down whit your GREED!

Founder Zcash eating 20% Founder fee, small guy is a Zcash miner.

Yeah and now wtf who is still stupid snd buy it snd feed them!?

Buy it like feeding the dev, and ZEC will below than the ether price and we will see it soon.  Wink The supply was over 1 million and the price will be going to 0.005  Shocked
