923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Several reasons explaining the Crypto Price Crash (without BS) on: June 19, 2022, 05:13:49 AM
This is not the first of the crash and price plummet, it has happened in 2014 and 2018, so this time it should not be what is special, but people will all the time link false information to false information. I remember the time of covid-19 too, bitcoin falled from $10000 to 3800 in March 2020, they said it was covid-19 that caused it, they have forgotten that bitcoin also crashed to $3800 in 2019. After the crash in 2020, still during covid-19, bitcoin increased back. The crash now is not because of luna or whatever they said it is, it is because we are in bear market which may last until next year.
The above reasons for the current general decline in this market, as presented by the OP, seem unconvincing to me. They are too small to cause a general fall. Looking through this post, I noticed the previous periods of falls in 2014 and 2018 indicated. If we add here the current fall, that is, 2022, then we get a certain pattern of falls every four years. If we add here the four-year cycle of bitcoin associated with its halving, then it turns out that the crypto-winter constantly follows a large price rise in the market after the halving. Therefore, we are now just in a period of market decline. These falls have passed, and this one will pass.
924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Bitcoin Disappointed You ? on: June 18, 2022, 04:55:25 PM
The price of bitcoin is now $19,023 and continues to fall. Accordingly, altcoins also fell in price. Ethereum is now less than one thousand dollars. Now, I think those who bought bitcoin at a much higher price than the current one are disappointed. Also, the hopes of those who believed that after the last ATH, bitcoin would no longer be able to fall in price below $20,000, as well as those who believed that in the first half of this year, bitcoin would definitely reach one hundred thousand dollars, did not materialize. It turns out that not everything is as rosy in the world of cryptocurrency as many thought. I think that the current price drop will make many think before buying bitcoin at a high price. This may negatively affect the rapid growth of the price of bitcoin in the future. Especially already at the stage when he will gain a decent price height.
925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto winter setting in.. and how long will it last on: June 17, 2022, 06:35:24 AM
The crypto-winter is now in its seventh month. Since December last year, bitcoin has fallen from $46,000 to its current level of just over $20,000. Ethereum during this time has fallen in price from $3,600 to $1,090 now. It is possible that, as some predict, the market will lose another ten percent. But for now, no one knows how long this bearish period will last and how low the price of our cryptocurrency can fall. However, I don't think it will last for years, as many here claim. A long crypto-winter is not beneficial to anyone. A stagnant period in terms of price is also stagnant for the profits of participants in this market.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins will explode in 2022? on: June 16, 2022, 07:00:12 PM
We see that in the first half of this year, the entire cryptocurrency only fell in price. Moreover, we cannot know in advance how long the current bearish period will last. It seems that a possible rise in prices in this market can really be counted on no earlier than mid-autumn. Therefore, it is too early to talk about some coins or tokens that may explode in terms of price this year. For now, I'm counting on ethereum, whose biennial renewal should also be completed in late summer or early autumn.
927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will countries ban Bitcoin mining due to environmental concerns? on: June 15, 2022, 03:29:54 AM
Most likely, this is the case. States and their governments will always be biased against a cryptocurrency that they cannot control. Therefore, the prohibition of the mining of cryptocurrencies using the PoW algorithm is quite possible. But can this ban somehow affect bitcoin? Unlikely, given that there are only about two million bitcoins left to mine. Bitcoin will be able to function with the already issued amount of bitcoins. In addition, it is unlikely that absolutely all states will be able to make such a decision and, most importantly, control its implementation. There will always be secluded places on our planet where you can continue to mine.
928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins or CBDCs? on: June 14, 2022, 10:06:45 AM
Stable coins will forever remain the best, because most of them are being backed up by the real country currency. CBDC can't take over the market because it's going to be centralized and anything that's monitored can't go any far in the crypto space because it's against what the vision and mission of crypto currency stands for.
The existence of current stablecoins in the future will depend entirely on the regulatory authorities of states. Any state has the right to prohibit the use of its currency by others as security for private and commercial stablecoins.
It should be noted that the current private stablecoins can be subject to various abuses. If something unforeseen happens, the enterprise that organized the operation of this stablecoin will declare itself bankrupt and all holders of this stablecoin will lose their money. The state is behind the CBDC, so this cannot happen here. This is the advantage of CBDC.
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How low can BTC go this time around on: June 14, 2022, 07:09:47 AM
If I do see it at $35,000 I will take it. That's my buy point right now and while waiting I am trying to save as much money as I can.
You said it, we might not see it at a very low price and even at all the economic drops it still manages to stay at this value. More trust is coming and we can say this is the new world of cryptocurrencies where investors will purchase anything that is crypto related especially Bitcoin.
Don't expect 4 digits because that might not happen anymore.

yes you are right the lowest support point for bitcoin is at 35k, and it is impossible if bitcoin falls below that price. the past few weeks bitcoins have been dropping and have a look, none of them are anywhere near 35k. the price slowly rose after bitcoin dropped at 37k. this means the forces holding back bitcoin are enormous. so it's impossible for us to see bitcoin return to a 4 digit price.
Contrary to some optimistic forecasts, now we see that the price of bitcoin has dropped to the current $22,427 and it is possible that it will continue to fall further. The $35,000 threshold has long been broken. There have even been predictions that soon we will be able to see the price of Bitcoin at $13,000. Earlier, after the price of bitcoin rose above $60,000, there was an opinion that bitcoin could no longer fall in price below $20,000. It seems that we now have a chance to test this theory.

931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pricing things in Bitcoin rather than in US dollar what this could mean for BTC? on: June 12, 2022, 03:36:19 PM
I don't think bitcoin pricing is possible. The price of bitcoin changes almost every few seconds. Moreover, based on its decent cost, these changes are quite significant. If this is applied in a retail outlet, it will be a big problem for its administration. A simple question: how to show the price of goods before the tax office? How to prove that the price is valid at the time of each purchase? I am not saying that it is impossible. However, this is so much work that it would be easier not to use the price of goods in bitcoins, at least in retail.
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ever heard of this "buy at dip and be rich in the future" on: June 11, 2022, 05:31:54 AM
I did it all month of April. although do not know where the lowest point. I bought AXS, I bought Sol, ftm, luna, bitcoin, avax, all coins that I think have great potential and prices are falling. but today i started to doubt, what i did was right?
after I observed my assets were down quite a lot and it was enough for me to have trouble. I want to ask what did I do wrong? Or is this the right decision?
Here, in my opinion, two things are important: the first is to invest in coins and tokens, which will then grow in price, and the second is to choose the most successful investment moment when the cryptocurrency reaches its price bottom. Both of these are quite difficult to achieve. After all, it is very difficult to predict cryptocurrency in its further price movements. In order to average the indicators of buying a cryptocurrency at a possible lower price, it is advised to invest in it in parts after a certain time. So it is better to react to its price movements.
933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will countries ban Bitcoin mining due to environmental concerns? on: June 10, 2022, 09:40:21 AM
Lawmakers in New York just passed a bill to ban certain bitcoin mining operations that run on carbon-based power sources. which means bitcoin mining isn't completely banned in the US. The ban is only on Proof of work algorithm that is done with carbon-based power sources that both consumes approximately  1,173 kilowatt hours and causes carbon emission. I think other source of power generation for this same bitcoin mining is permitted e.g solar energy

The topic of the prohibition of cryptocurrency mining, which at the same time uses the PoW algorithm, is increasingly found in the media, which quote high officials from various countries. We see that New York has even adopted a similar bill, which, however, still needs to be signed as a measure.
Our climate continues to change at a rapid pace and states are forced to take some measures to prevent these undesirable consequences. It is easier for them to make such prohibitions in cryptocurrency than in their industries, which need fundamental changes and additional investments for this. I think that such a ban can indeed be adopted in the future by different states.
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to binance if found guilty on: June 09, 2022, 01:29:34 PM
What do you think will happen if SEC finds Binance exchange to be guilty in their ongoing investigation? Do you think this will create panic in crypto space or will just affect the price of the BNB coin for some while?....
If that happens, Binance will lose its reputation and must explain the truth to the public. Yes, it will create panic in the crypto space because we know Binance is one of the top exchanges that have huge funds inside the exchange. It will also affect the BNB coin, and I can't imagine what will happen. But let's wait for the investigation and hope that Binance doesn't have any problem with that and can show proof about what is happening at that time.
The SEC again raises the question, as in the case of ripple, whether BNB is a security coin. Rather, he already considers this coin a security and, on this basis, makes claims against its leaders about the illegal cashing of securities for a large amount.
BNB is practically a slightly modified copy of ethereum, which the same SEC did not recognize as a security. It is not clear to me then how BNB can become a security.
I also believe that nothing serious can happen to BNB. At most Binance officials will pay a decent fine. After all, there are no complaints about BNB itself. But while an investigation is underway within the SEC itself, it remains to be seen whether the case will go to court.
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments force DEXs to comply with KYC/AML laws? on: June 08, 2022, 12:36:53 PM
Without any doubt, governments will force all cryptocurrency exchanges to comply with KYC/AML rules. It's just a matter of time. All exchanges are located on the territory of certain states and for their functioning they will be forced to obey the established rules of this state. Otherwise, they will be forcibly closed. The state and its government have many levers of influence on any business structure. Moreover, the KYC / AML rules are issues of global security and their observance is controlled by specially created interstate structures such as FATF and the states themselves are forced to obey them.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your opinions about fan tokens? I'm thinking to invest in them on: June 08, 2022, 12:13:37 PM
I never invested in fan tokens but I guess those are almost the same as other altcoins. What makes them a bit different is probably their fundamental based on the club issues. Not really sure they will be secure enough to invest since the hype of most fan tokens are only in the launching of the tokens (first-time listing). After launching the tokens on an exchange for several months, then the prices of the fan tokens drop drastically. Honestly, I am worried to invest in fan tokens.

*Please do some research first on them before buying: https://www.coingecko.com/en/categories/fan-token

I don't think investing in fan tokens is a good idea. Fan tokens, meme coins, even NFTs have almost no useful value and therefore can only increase in value in a certain period. Over time, the excitement around them subsides and then their future is unenviable. When investing, I am guided primarily by the usefulness of the new cryptocurrency, and not by what is fashionable at this time.
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good time for alts on: June 07, 2022, 02:06:36 PM
Do we need to wait more 1- 2 years then buy alts now before right before bull market kick in?
None know when the market will be running again to the peak price. We can only speculate. We need wait at least a few years to see the market will be recovered again but this time may a bit different compared with the last years. This time crypto is always following the stock market. It has similar pattern. In my opinion if you shall see the chart and make a comparison between both.

We didn't even know whether the market already reached the bottom price or not. buying in the various price may become the best answer for that.
Periods of large price drops in general have a very negative effect on altcoins, especially new projects. During such periods, a lot of altcoins leave the market, so it is better to invest at this time in the most famous coins with a high level of capitalization. As for the duration of the bearish period, it will probably last until autumn, and there it is likely that prices will rise in this market. However, cryptocurrency price movements are difficult to predict. Changes in this plan can begin at any time. In any case, I do not expect the current bearish period in the cryptocurrency market to be very long.
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will we see the destruction of ETH anytime soon? on: June 07, 2022, 01:38:50 PM
High gas fees, reduced popularity of DEFI, rapid decline of TVL on the chain, distrust of ETH2.0, criticism from miners, and restrictions on participants by the POS mechanism. Will the challenges of new technologies and new public chains cause ETH to decline rapidly?
It is difficult for that reason Ethereum is experiencing a decline going forward, the only cases involving mining critics who are dissatisfied with the results, participant restrictions have to be done for some reason, and new technologies and smart chains are things that must be faced in the challenges ahead, this is just a problem small ones that never made Ethereum lose the trust of people, because this coin has reached a very good level of utility under bitcoin, so it's hard for people to ignore them
I see no reason to be particularly concerned about the future of the ethereum network. Of course, the miners of this coin will now be unhappy that they are losing their earnings. There is a lot of controversy right now about the benefits of PoW and PoS, but apart from purely technical issues, there is also a lot of far-fetched or petty, which will rise to the rank of a serious problem, because some do not like the possible strengthening of the role of ethereum after the upgrade. There is already a little bit left and soon we will be able to see the results of the work of a large team of this coin.

940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty is taking another direction on: June 04, 2022, 04:02:13 PM
The term 'BOUNTY' refers to as a reward for some specific act, especially one given by an authority or a government. But this definition is taking another dimension because most of the project owner or BMs don't really care enough about bounty hunters reward(s). To participate in bounty now is good as wasting your time. How on earth can someone earn $1-2 for working at least five days each week in a month? Does that sound good to you? This is incredible! Something has to be done about this before bounty turn to scam in it entirety. What's your view, opinion and suggestions on this?

I admit that currently the rewards from bounty campaigns are less compared to a few years ago in 2018 to 2020. However, from my experience in participating in bounty campaigns, not all campaigns provide large rewards and not all campaigns provide low rewards. all depends on the allocation provided and the number of participants who follow it.
Yes, with rewards from participating in bounty campaigns, everything is very bad now. First of all, we see that there are very few signing campaigns in new projects now. The focus is on social networks. Yes, and those projects that provide for signature campaigns pay us absolutely ridiculous amounts that are not worth the effort even if the project team fulfills its promises. Therefore, even with a small choice to participate on such conditions, there are few who want to participate.

For example, the signature campaign of the INCUBATEX LAUNCHPAD project is currently underway, in which, with a total pool of $ 60,000, they promise to allocate 3 to 5 percent for the signature campaign. It is from 1800 to 3000 dollars. At the same time, they require that campaign participants write at least 15 posts per week with the dubious value of their token. As a result, even with no recent signing campaigns, since May 23, only four accounts have signed up for this campaign.
