if u having 20k to invest and u have choice on choosing btc with price 20k org eth with price 500 i will go for eth .because increasing 500$ will profit 100% on eth while on btc $5%(maybe) ..it depends on the price increase

Though eth increases its price. It is still not stable, it will still go down without your expectation that may cause you to lose a big amount of money you invest. I still suggest investing bitcoins. Bitcoins price is down for a while. If you have 20k its enough to buy bitcoins now since its price is low. Just hold it until its price goes up again and I asure that you will get return on investment if you sell it at high price.
922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am i too late on: December 09, 2017, 04:10:39 PM
is now too late to invest on bitcoin ?

no, you are not too late to invest in bitcoin because the price is currently down, buy now if you are serious about investing in bitcoin before price goes up again
I agreed with you. Since bitcoin's price is down it is a good opportunity to buy bitcoin and hold it till it price rise again. Bitcoin's low price will be only available at few days only for sure cause it will go up again in no time. That's why buy bitcoins while it is still affordable.

924  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to start with Bitcoin? on: December 07, 2017, 02:54:26 PM
Hi,

I am afraid I know relatively little about Bitcoin, but it is something that I would like to know more about.  While I appreciate that I have largely "missed the bus", I feel it is something still worth learning about and possibly investing in for the long term.

Could anyone kindly give me any advice on how to get started with learning about Bitcoin please?

Thank you.

I guess you just need to spend some time reading reading in this bitcointalk forum. much knowledge you can get. and I think knowledge is something very important in the crypto world.

I agreed with you. Every one of us here starts by reading, researching and exploring bitcoin. You need to have a sufficient knowledge about bitcoin first before you start investing bitcoins. For now, just explore this thread, read some topics that you think may help you and ask some members for help. Thats the first thing I did when I was a newbie in bitcoin.

928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum on: December 07, 2017, 05:04:48 AM
Based on my experience, i will choose bitcoin because it gives a good return of investment in a short period of time.
Etherium is also has a good return on investment. Well it depends to their price. Return on investment is based in how much their price is, if its price is low. Well dont expect you will have a good income, but if its price is high, You will have a better income .
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum on: December 07, 2017, 03:24:55 AM
I'm leaning more towards ethereum. Its price is falling right now, however it is projected to increase significantly until the end of 2018. Due to the falling price there might be a good buying opportunity right now.
Yes this is a good opportunity to buy eth while its price is down. Bitcoin's price is rising for now thats why I recommend you to buy eth  that btc. Just hold it and wait until eth's price gets high again.

931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late for Bitcoin? on: December 06, 2017, 05:47:53 AM
We all know that bitcoin is now rising and rising. And before this year ends it is expected to rise doubled the price right now. Is it too late to invest Bitcoin?
Late? I think its not. You may be a newbie but it will never too late for.newbies like you to invest bitcoins. You can start investing bitcoins now if you want. You can still earn bitcoins in the right time. Bitcoins price will rise and rise in time and there is no reason for you to become late at this. Maybe you just missed the opportunity to start saving bitcoins in the past but it doesn't matter if you begin now. But first, you must study bitcoins first, make some research about it learn.
932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: December 06, 2017, 05:29:30 AM
Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers
Well not really, though bitcoins is secure there are still some ways that may lead your bitcoins to lose or get stollen by other people. You must keep your bitcoin wallet's private key or password and accounts. Because its the most important in saving bitcoins. Losing these is like wasting your time that you spend in earning bitcoins.
933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most attractive concept about Bitcoin? on: December 06, 2017, 05:21:52 AM
what makes bitcoin appealing, in other words: what is the "breaking the ice" part about bitcoin that you can tell a newbie in a sentence or two, too pull them into this crypto journey BTC @millzp0

The most attractive part of bitcoin is its price and nothing else. Bitcoin doesn't have any other good factor other than the price. I am a long term investor in bitcoin and generated a huge profit from trading activities using bitcoin. Also I mostly hold my earned bitcoins looking at the future potential. Bitcoin has a huge potential for the future and I want to reap that benefit. Otherwise, bitcoin is not a good choice for transactions. Because an average time for a bitcoin transaction is 30 minutes. Which is the main roadblock for bitcoin to be accepted as a mainstream currency. So for me, bitcoin is a great investment asset only and I prefer ETH and IOTA as transaction facilitator.
You are right, first of all, the first reason why people are attracted to bitcoins is because of its overwhelming price. That is why more people pays attention in earning bitcoins much more than working or taking a job. Also in earning bitcoins, its less work than other jobs in short, its much easier to earn in this kind of job than other job in the outside world. Bitcoin is easier to save than paper money.  But it has some risk too.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy bitcoin now? on: December 06, 2017, 05:16:33 AM
New user to the forums and new to Bitcoin overall, just looking for some advice. My friends have bought packs with USI-tech a few months ago when the price was around £2.5k per coin. I'm looking to get into it but just wondering when to go for it.

I've been waiting for the price to fall which it kind of has now, do I wait it out even longer for it to fork again in November? Or do I just put some money into it now. I've been doing a lot of research before I do anything but just want some opinions on here please.
Well it depends to you, if you're satisfied for the bitcoin's price. You can start buying now and hold it until its price gets higher. But I suggest you to buy bitcoins when its price is lower. So that you can be able to afford more bitcoins and sell it when its price gets higher to make return on investment.
935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline Wallets Vs Online Wallets on: December 05, 2017, 06:28:53 PM
Which of the Bitcoin wallets between the Online and Offline works best?
Actually it depends on how comfortable you are. With offline wallet you wont need any internet in order to access your wallet. Which is a lot easier than online wallets. But online wallets, though it requires internet. You can access it any time and in any device you want. That is why I really prefer using online wallets.

938  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin = $1 Million by 2020 on: December 04, 2017, 02:48:57 PM
John McAfee Bullish on Bitcoin Price Reaching $1 Million by 2020.
He wrote in Twitter: "When I predicted Bitcoin at $500,000 by the end of 2020, it used a model that predicted $5,000 at the end of 2017. BTC has accelerated much faster than my model assumptions. I now predict Bircoin at $1 million by the end of 2020. I will still eat my dick if wrong."

Can yo believe this? What are your own predictions?

I'm not much good on predictions, but I think he can start eating his dick already.  Cheesy
He seems so much aggressive on bitcoin price, isn't it too much? For me 3 years is not enough for bitcoin to reach that kind of price, but I think his influence and predictions may bring a good impact on bitcoins community. Which is more better!
I agreed with you. He should start eating now. 3 years is not enough to make it to 1 Million in 2020. Before it reach such this price, it will still take a long time. Well that guy's prediction is unbelievable Cheesy
939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as payment system on: December 04, 2017, 12:54:50 PM
Not sure, but i think that BTC will not blow up near future. Guess, 2018 will bring us a huge growth of Bitcoin Roll Eyes
Im also counting in that idea. Though its not a hundred percent sure that bitcoin will be use as a payment system. There is a possibility that it might happen in 2018.  But dont expect that it will have too many users, Cause here in our country, I think there is only 25% out of 100% who uses and knows bitcoin.
940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin stops........ on: December 03, 2017, 12:16:03 AM
hardly it will happen any time soon
Yuph. We can say that bitcoin is popular, and has too many users worldwide. But still, although there is no reason for bitcoin to stop. Its not impossible that it may be stop anytime by someone or something. My main point is, there is still doubt that bitcoin will stay forever.
