921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: List Of People For The Bitcoin Community Never To Trust on: July 14, 2019, 06:24:26 PM
I never trust anybody from the start aside from my family and close friends in the crypto community. We should be like that to all kinds of investments including crypto, any one can be the enemy, including self proclaimed friends that would help you grow your investments, but most of them thinks a way to make money out of you and if you lose somehow, they also disappear like bubbles on thin air. Trust your self, that should do it.
922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: July 12, 2019, 11:16:02 PM
I think it is, in some cases. If you say it is pointed to the people who have jobs in the gambling casino then yes, they have to work as hard as they can to feed themselves and their families. The dealers, the maintenance team of the slots, the guards and many more. But if it is to the people who are merely playing for fun, who doesn't think about losing their money then not. When I think about it hard work is connected to good people with good motives in their lives, to earn money.
923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are big leaders now opposing cryptocurrencies suddenly? on: July 12, 2019, 05:06:48 AM
Hey

So Trump stated that he is not a big fan of cryptocurrencies including Bitcoins and Libra if it wants to come in the market may need a banking charter since they support unlawful behavior.

He also went ahead to say how the price if based on thin air.

I think these are the following reasons which compelled him to make public statement along with all other influential people.
(I don't personally consider Trump influential but UK ...he is the US president he may ban Bitcoins at any time so let's just go with it 😂)

1. He just wants to rekindle the public interest in Dollar , which infact is showing a weak growth this year.

2. He is scared that people are more interested in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoins and libra whose value he stated is * volatile and based on thin air*, which in turn is an excellent opportunity for the traders , they may get daily profit , which is more than USD

3.he is just scared that Facebook cryptocurrency despite being a cryptocurrency might just be converted into a bank and it could dominate all the existing ones , let's be honest even my grandma is on Facebook' it is going to spike public interest so fast.

I think whatever he said and whatever others are saying about Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies is not because they are scared it might bring unlawful behavior , but infact because they are scared it will give the power to public , the public money will be theirs to hold , and the banks and governments can no longer regulate it. Their own currencies will become weak .
It's not concern of society , it's just they fear what revolution it might bring.

( Let me know if you guys need the link about what's being said but I actually just summed up the 2 page article the main points are in the starting para only.)

As if all the leaders in the world would take serious actions on what Trump says in his social media accounts. Aside from that we can't really be sure what lies beyond the reasons that some of the country leaders has to go against crypto suddenly. maybe they want it to pull down the price back in order for them to ride the tide. It is still unpredictable, human is constantly changing and that includes their decisions whether they would accept crypto or not.
924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most unusual games you played in a crypto casino? on: July 11, 2019, 10:04:36 PM
What are the most unusual (or interesting) games you played in a crypto casino?

Are you asking it our of curiosity or you just wanna get an attention of a certain dice site? there no unusual games as of now that I have remembered playing, they are all the same. May you just what to attract us with your questions and then we get curious and somehow visit your site. If you find anything unusual it is the way people think of advertising their product in other ways, get to the point, people what to be told directly, and answers yes or no.
925  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: The most important part of investing in bitcoin is timing. on: July 11, 2019, 03:05:57 PM
I have the timing these recent dumps, but it is not the best for as I don't the money, no one wants to lend me to buy BTC when I had the chance. I sold my accessories just to buy Bitcoin when it was only 4K USD, and now I am still holding. IF only I had the money back then I could have rested from this depressing and yet exciting trend. you must have the money and timing that is what I am saying.
926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Megan Rapinoe given 300/1 odds to win the 2020 presidential election on: July 11, 2019, 05:32:45 AM
When is that happening? I think she will win after the USA citizens are all dumb at all, this is just free money for the gambling sites. Even if they made it 1 to a million odds still I couldn't possibly think that is happening.
927  Economy / Gambling / Re: New stunning crypto gambling project on: July 10, 2019, 10:01:22 PM
First winner will get :
7$  BTC/BCH/ETH.

Every time there are more participants the chances of winning will increase and the amount of winnings will increase for all participants!

Addition]  to your conclusions, the word stunning OP is saying is not appropriate to get the attention of the customers whenever he might launch  the crypto betting site. There couldn't any people around the world would be able to play if they are being stunned, it is like they are dead anyways. i think it wouldn't sell, your product.
928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Warren Buffett hate bitcoin? on: July 09, 2019, 11:54:57 PM
If you understand the evolution of money and tulip investing, it all makes sense.

We can not blame him, he makes sense, buying something that comes from nothing that you expect other guys would buy it for more is totally insane. How could somebody like me and other people out there that have less knowledge sand thinking skills could fully understand and and fully gain profits from Bitcoin? In fact you might not know either, but warren have his own beliefs so as we, we are expecting Bitcoin to be something worthy later on, we have the the guts to trust on something that is unpredictable that kind of guts is not present to any other businessman like Warren, in short they are mostly rich currently or so we our only commoners who aim to get the wealth of someone's legally through Bitcoin.
929  Economy / Economics / Re: If a pyramid runs forever, is it still a pyramid? on: July 09, 2019, 10:28:00 PM
I have been wracking my head trying to figure this out. I've been watching some schemes on cryptocurrencies and even though their complexity is very high, many all boil down to the same basic principle: a ponzi.

What my question is seeking to address is whether these ponzi schemes are indeed ponzi if a surrounding business takes advantage of it.

Ok, I did not make myself clear.

Let's think 3Dimensionally beyond the simple MLM, ponzi.

1. The pyramid is a hierarchical structure right? Now, imagine it being surrounded by legimate businesses. I mean most "complicated" and smart ponzis are like that and can run for decades. Think Bernie Madoff.

2. From the Ponzi, legitimate and real businesses are ran. In fact, an entire eco-system can be built around the simple ponzi. From investing in other legitimate investments to small brick and mortar SMEs, ponzi money can "expand" to so many horizons.

What are examples?

- apparel
- consulting services
- video content
- tradeshow and "TEDtalk" like events with pricey tickets
- VPN hosting services, etc, etc.

These allied businesses, are not in and of themselves "ponzi" but may have been capitalized with ponzi money. Now, if any of these endeavors "takes off" and perpetuates the ponzi or prolongs it, doesn't that make the ponzi not a ponzi?

In the end the people that would take most of the damage our the people below, in order for a ponzi or the pyramid to exist is to remove all of the topnotch asses. How would you do that, it only exist in movies where protagonist saves the world from the tyrant ruler of the world. It doesn't exist at all, now we just have to go along with it and make the most out of it, squeeze the juice while it is available or leave it to others and go on with whatever business you doing not including crypto currencies or whatsoever ponzi schemes you know of.
930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Woman Travels to 7 Different Countries in 12-Week.Challenge using only Crypto on: July 09, 2019, 09:09:40 PM

Here is a story of a vlogger and co-host youtube Australian woman (Jailde Barclay) who actually travels 7 countries and 16 diferent cities alone using only cryptocurrency. If we are asking how did she know those countries she went to, accepted crypto payments, with the power of "google" it is very possible.

She attended at London for London Blockchain week and since she never uses her digital assets before, it is a big challenge for her to spend it now without using cash.

Her 12-weeks challenge spending crypto paying hotels, restaurants and shoppings is really difficult because bitcoin is bullish at the moment she is travelling.

This is also my dream, to travel and see how possible to spend cryptocurrency in my journey as well, if not in outside the country I would like to spend it at least here jn our country. The works of bitcoin payments indicates that it is started to grow, started to adopt well by many. I can see the future aheads with it. This woman proves that despite of the volatility of the market, she took the risks to not to HODL but to spend it.

I will leave here the link for the article and her youtube video is also there. It's exciting and amazing to watch her travel using crypto payments only.

Sooner it would be like the movie of Jackie Chan's 80 days around the world, most of the countries would be accepting crypto for sure in terms of payments, tickets to food and accommodation. You will have nothing to worry about, only your PK or your phone is enough to cover your travel expenses.
931  Economy / Economics / Re: finding investors on: July 04, 2019, 10:41:52 PM
When ever a new company/startup looking to raise/start its business, they do consider one of many ways to find investors Through top-tier business schools, industry friends, Angel investor networks, Crowd funding and by city's entrepreneurial community. All that by Proving they are market ready.
I am myself trying to do the same, failing multiple times at finding investors and funding my business. (I have not reached the phase of giving up yet)
I want just to get some advice on bitcoin investors. do they exist? how can I find them? can they invest in real world project not just invest in online projects. Can bitcoin be one of the ways that a company/startup can seek to raise up? having patience as an enemy, making hasty decisions, having hope, and sometimes lack of knowledge is it a good idea to seek the bitcoin way.
And I quot "The biggest risk is not taking any risk... In a world that changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks." Mark Zuckerberg
Is using bitcoin investment worth the risk? more people will go with the normal and stable flow because bitcoin is too risky. Personally i think it is worth the risk, but how can a person grantee and secure his startup, bitcoin investment knowing that many countries do not accept bitcoin as a legitimate money and therefore no business contract can be made.

Ps: I apologies for my English.

If you have some of that friends and links with bisuness indrustries and yet you don't have a fine product it will be totally useless. In blockchain there are competitors that you may haven't still met in the world you used to, so it is new and will definitely be a big struggle and hardship. So you better be ready for those too, not just to be dependent by power that is imbued to you by other people/
932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news for bitcoin holders, after falling price now Bitcoin Surges above 12% on: July 03, 2019, 05:31:30 PM
I think it will find its base around $9000 plus before moving higher. Frankly speaking that movement upwards for few days was damn suspicious of manipulation. All in all the whales are playing their games.

Maybe you are dreaming, this is hardly going down to 9k, it will continue to 15k USD. overnight hike was incredible and the next thing you know in the morning is definitely it will be increasing for 10 percent, and we can't manipulate that, the whales will have a hard time manipulating it.

934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to choose only one altcoin, which one it would be? on: July 01, 2019, 02:49:35 PM
Imagine you had to choose only one altcoin for your bag. I can't decide between GRAM, LAW and Libra. The last one is the most questionable: it's popular because of FB but I heard it won't be profitable because of its features of stable coin. GRAM and LAW are great because of its technologies but they are not as popular as Libra. So...yeah that is my problem...And what is your choice?

Libra? Even though are already coins that had proven their worth in good or in bad times. Libra is new, the reason it is a hot topic right now is only because it is connected to Facebook, but if not were could that coin go, maybe gone in an instant. There is no need to pick such coins and you just probably buy Ether or LTC, even XRP is worth the try.
935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we officially consider Blockchain the new internet? on: July 01, 2019, 10:01:48 AM
Impressive article that talks about Bitcoin and Blockchain as being the next generation of money and web. https://cryptotradernews.com/fintech/next-generation-global-economy-and-web-3-0/

Thoughts?

I feel like Bitcoin is definitely the next generation of money but I'm unsure as to whether Blockchain can be considered the new internet. Although there's no Bitcoin without Blockchain... lol help me out here

Well as of now there is no other technology that couldn't compare to Bitcoins growth of fame and price, and in fact there a so many investors that are interested in Blockchain technolgy. So maybe we could say it is the currently trend of the web, and surely there more people to come even the biggest names out there are joining too, like Facebook. So it could be as of now in my opinion, there is no doubt that Blockchain is somewhat interesting and the internet of our time.
936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every time I sell Bitcoin pumps... Has BTC been good or bad for You??? on: July 01, 2019, 08:11:44 AM
So for the last 18 months I have held, gambled, bought and exchanged some BTC mostly through this forum. (I HATE PAXFUL AND FEES). Anyways I have won lost, and just at points had to sell my coins for emergency funds and etc.

Well just a couple weeks ago I had around .02 BTC (thats alot for me) well my washer and dryer has been having issues. My dryer proceeded to go and break on me and I had to sell my .02 to buy a used dryer, I spent $30 in gas and $75 on the dryer and when I got home the used dryer I bought is broken and the guy who sold it hasnt aswered my phone call in a month...

Well anyways I sold my .02 for around $140 at the time roughly 1 month ago give or take. And since then it has went up over $100 in value... smh

Am i just unlucky or does the bitcoin market follow my transaction history and only pump when I am out?Huh

I really just wish I never sold I would still have a broke dryer and .02...The price has went up so high that I now cannot afford to invest. My mother was just diagnosed with stage 4 COPD and Emphazema and was just put on Hospice home health. So I am currently unemployed taking care of her. Its a struggle everyday.. I seriously am starting to wonder if btc is just bad luck for me. I once owned 3 BTC when an (unnamed website was shut down) I lost it all and since that day. Have never made it back.. I am now a proud owner of around 850 satoshis... ( so any ideas on how I can earn a little simple btc would be appreciated)...

But to finish my post. Does BTC price rise or fall when you sell. And since you have been dabbling in Crypto have you become more /less successful. I want to hear your stories. I think all BTC has ever done for me is gotten my funds stolen multiple times lol. But man do I love it.

Give me your thoughts!
Everything happens for a reason, you just have to accept it. Recently my wife was hospitalized I sold my .0438 BTC fro 250 dollars on an exchange, then after a month 200 dollars should have been 600 or more, and I nearly cried but that's life. Some important things are meant to be done in order for us to survive in the real world or our loved ones. So it is a matter of the situation you are currently in, if you got problems then you should solved it immediately if you are able to, and that is what you did.
937  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin help rebuild Venezuela? - Darb Finance on: July 01, 2019, 05:33:46 AM
The problem is it is on the middle of other super powers countries agenda, schemes and territorial conflicts. It can be one step close to someones borders, I feel sorry for the Venezuela people, they in the middle of someone else' war, economical and maybe territorial. If only the super powered countries leave it alone then someday or somehow, it can be helped. Bitcoin is flexible and can be utilize by any other form of government, if they do so then they will be the first to become richer than any other countries if Bitcoin goes mainstream or it could also lead them to it's opposite effect if it goes down. At this point they are somehow in a tight spot.
938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rare Interview of Satoshi Nakamoto from 2019 on: June 28, 2019, 07:23:54 PM
Satoshi was at Bitcoin Conference 2019 in SF, published only 2 days ago. Is Satoshi coming back?
Some in English, most in Japanese.

This might be a turning point in the Bitcoin mystery... is there any Japanese here that could translate the Japanese part? He is talking about his life and there are sure some really interesting information.

https://youtu.be/4suKcm82Qno

A transcript in English of the Interview would be wonderful!

I hope he doesn't reveal himself this so soon, I am rooting for his appearance when it come to a time a that Bitcoin is not affordable for the common people anymore, if the true satoshi is back and he has the 1M plus bitcoin, it could lead to the downtrend of Bitcoin, and that would take years to cover the damage, imagine how many years has it been for Bitcoin to be on it's current situation and then go back to being near zero again.
939  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will the price stop ? on: June 28, 2019, 06:30:21 PM
Grin hey everyone I think it's time for everyone to be Happy and investing since the price is actually climbing over the roof now .

Well there are few quotes that I came along on the internet made by some major websites , lemme state that out for you :-

*This was quoted by cointelegraph *

"As Cointelegraph reported on Friday, hash rate hit a new all-time high at over 65,000,000 TH/s. In other words, Bitcoin is more secure than ever and would require an unfathomable amount of computing power to affect the network."

"In fact, the number of Google searches for “bitcoin” is only around 10% of what they were in 2017. In other words, retail investor FOMO has not even started yet, which may suggest that BTC price could go much higher than last time"

"The latest rally to five figures is also happening way before the Bitcoin block reward halving set for May 2020. This is when mining block rewards will be cut from 12.5 to 6.25 BTC, thus reducing the bitcoins minted by miners who are naturally market sellers."

Just saving you guys from reading the whole para '

So according to these arguments , Bitcoins should be able to just strike beyond 20k$
But what do you think ?
Will the price stop here or just climb up Huh
Is it okay for us to have an unnatural price prediction??
What are your thoughts on it ?

I hope the speculation of Craig W. will be on the spotlight, hope so. As we will be getting rich if that happens. As of now I am taking a deep tracking of the current price, it seems that there's no stopping this right now, as you can see even if the price drop, it only drops a little and then again climb again more than it has dropped.
940  Local / Pilipinas / Re: How do you handle your MINING in the Philippines? (2019) on: June 28, 2019, 05:37:49 PM
Ang pag mimina sa pilinas ay hindi talaga sustainable kasi ang mahal ng kuryente sa atin, doon palang luging lugi na talaga at hindi pa kasama yung maintenance sa bawat machine na 24 hours operation. Kung meron man siguro hinahangad nalang nila na yung minimina nila taas yung market value para mag imbak nalang in the future, for long term purposes.
