921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: August 09, 2021, 03:48:22 PM
I also notice this thing, online gambling becomes more popular than before when the pandemic started, it is because most of the gamblers now that are addicted to physical gambling have no choice but to play only because all of the casino gambling is closed. I am also the one who tries to gamble online which I am not really doing before but because of boredom I tried.

Pandemic has brought everyone into online. That might be into games, social medias like youtube, tiktok, instagrams, facebooks and etc. The lockdown has locked everyone not only inside their houses but has locked everyone spend hours and hours of time into mobiles on online platforms. Youngsters from age 15 to 25, are mostly addicted in online games, gambling and etc which is really diverting them to experience the real world outside.

I would prefer gambling and losing some money but I would never install tiktok on my phone I can't understand how can people enjoy that stuff, it's full of cringe!

Nvm that, I play online games and is around the age you've specified above and i wouldn't call it being addicted but rather having fun for a few hours.
Gambling is however another issue where addicted people are always losing and trying to recover their loses.

Really happy to hear you saying you just play for fun and that for only few hours. You really have control on what you do. Thats the control over getting into addiction. I have seen my friends spending hours and hours on pupg. I came across a news of a teenage admitted in a hospital for treatment. His mind was fully occupied with pupg thoughts and activities. He kept saying, kill him, get him, go hear and there. He just moves his hands thinking holding a riffle in his hand moving around to shoot enemies. His mind was completely into pupg. He did not mind on anything else. His parents were really crying. It was really pathetic to see him in such situation man. Better not to get into games even for fun. But as long as you have control over, its really good.
922  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum coin to begin trading? on: August 08, 2021, 07:35:30 PM
There is no minimum and maximum. It depends on you and your experience and confidence. Being a beginner, start with paper trading. First analyse and choose the best coins which are best in the market. Choose the best trading platform. Once you are confident enough on paper trading, invest around $100 if possible on a best coin which is below 0.05$. The key to succeed in trading is, patience. Practice it from the beginning.
923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to Tether? on: August 08, 2021, 07:20:22 PM
New and interesting to speak about Tether. My question is, why it should fall under bankruptcy. A stable cryupto currency, used by vast traders to hold their crypto value stable in crypto wallet, has more rooms to circulate it and keep it more live, what makes you to think it would fall into bankruptcy. Just curious to know. I am a trader and i do always trade coins with USDT pair. I would be the one who will be disappointed if tether is not in the market.
924  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your worst mistake on: August 08, 2021, 07:05:34 PM
The worst mistake was, loosing patience and go for buy and sell when the market was manipulated. Never push yourself to either buy or sell when the market is manipulated. And my best advice would be, never have a commitment from the money you invested into any coin. I mean, do not expect constant turn over like monthly, quarterly and etc. This will certainly challenge your patience. Being in trading for past 5 years, I would say, do not loose your patience. Hold your coins.
925  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who's been buying recently? on: August 08, 2021, 06:50:27 PM
We've been in a big bear market but there is a sudden pump.

Is this a giant whale or few whales buying up, retail, some companies? Any way to track the major buyers/sellers?

Also, when these whales or whoever start buying, alt coins move up. Is this the result of the whales also buying other alt coins as they buy bitcoin, or an automatic reaction by bots or retail/people constantly watching 24/7 who buy alts?

Last time before this bull-ish market around January, bitcoin and eth started climbing high, but alt coins lagged some before going up too. They didn't just go up immediately like they are right now

Each exchange has a track of each investors but they do not share it to any. But why you require all these information. Will this help you to analyse where you can invest? Whales do manipulate the market and Based on the news around, whales and other small investors play with the market. I am sure the market if balanced with whales manipulation and news around on crypto currencies.
926  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price Prediction: $350k before the end of 2022 on: August 08, 2021, 06:34:04 PM
Hey all,
We are still in the early stage of this uptrend cycle. This cycle will go on till end of 2022 and the peak will be about 350k per BTC. When it hits its next market cycle peak, bitcoin will have a market cap of $6.5 trillion. Total market cap will top out around $10–12 trillion combined BTC and altcoins, roughly on par with gold’s market cap today and the inflation-adjusted value of the dot-com boom.
It took 24 months for bitcoin to go from its low of November 2011 to its high of November 2013. It took 35 months for bitcoin to go from its low of January 2015 to its high of December 17.
Extend that pattern and we can predict it will take 46 months for bitcoin to go from its low of January 2019 to its high in October 2022.
The image was done on 2020 so the "Today" time is not now in 2021, but I find this analysis is rather OK.

You can read the full analysis in this post: Is Bitcoin Nearing Another All-Time High? Why, When and How Much

Good work on the graph man. Really appreciative. Happy to see if bitcoin grows as you have drafted. I hope in its growth and expect a minimum of $100k by end of 2022. I am sure if btc crosses it, other coins like ETH, BNB and other coins with high trading volume, are going to see a huge growth following bitcoin. Those who have invested in these top coins are going to get much profit if they patiently hold them.
927  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin investment on: August 08, 2021, 06:18:21 PM
I am investing Bitcoin today even if the price is still very high and risky. I still believe in some speculation that btc will rise up to 100k$ before the year 2021 end, that is why I buy some Bitcoin and hold it till the price reach up to 100k$ may I know what are you thinking this time is it a Time to buy or hold or what ?

I really appreciate your positive approach towards btc growth. Bitcoin has been the trust to many investors here. One or the other day its will certainly boom up. Recent growth of bitcoin has brought in so many investors into crypto currencies and it made everyone increase their confidence on crypto currencies. Elon Musk's presence around crypto currencies, have many stuck to it now. BTC will certainly reach $100k in few years, might be before 2023.
928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to the coins after your death ? on: August 08, 2021, 06:04:42 PM
Unless the access to where its stored is not given to any, it would lost. I would prefer to give the access to my spouse. I am training her on it though. But to those who do not trust anyone else, can write their wills to any trusts, orphanages, homeless people and etc. If this is not done so, the coin remain stable somewhere, where none can access and it would become useless.
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies price and their effect on gambling industry on: August 07, 2021, 06:50:50 PM
I feel its like investing fiats and buying crypto currencies. What so ever the crypto coin value it might be, we are going to bet based on the amount we wish to bet with fiats. Crytpo digits might differ but the value of fiat and crypto is going to be same. Accumulate the amount won and hold it until the price goes up and sell them off. Get double treat when price goes up. Playing gambling with crypto is like payment is made to purchase anything with crypto currencies.  Gambling industry when accepting crypto currencies, in turn its supporting crypto currencies grow by its circulation.
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your betting budget on: August 07, 2021, 06:34:34 PM
I also agree, budgeting is about increasing the chances of success because that way, at least the budget you set is not too high but can actually produce good results day after day.

Will the odds of winning will be changed by doing that way? Obviously, no.

Setting a budget according to everyone here is to somehow limit their expenses. But it has nothing to do with your gambling results day by day.

I'd rather set a budget for my important matters and what's left is for misc activities such as gambling. That's the most effective to way to manage our betting budget compare set an amount specifically for gambling. At least even if you lose, your money is already settled on other matter.
Correct, setting up a budget is not a winning strategy, it is a strategy that will help you to avoid losing huge amounts of money that you cannot really afford to lose, so I have been always in favor of people having a budget, that way even if they happen to lose control of their gambling during a session if they can respect that budget then those losses are not going to be a big deal since they can just stop gambling during the rest of the week or month and they will still have lost the same amount of money.

Yes, separating a sum of amount and playing just with it, will save you from addiction as well. Either either you loose or win, just play with your budget. Budget play is a controlled play i would say. If one sticks to it, I am sure he might not fall into addiction, however it might change at any time as human tendency is to get driven towards fantasy.
931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: August 07, 2021, 06:18:44 PM

Addiction could be a life devastating if you won't find a way to stay away from addiction, it surely ruins everything you have, not only if financial matter but might be possible with your relationship.  a lot of couple have a break up because of this because once who hook up into addiction, you will forgot your responsibility as a man or as a father.

So true! there are many broken families because of this vice, addiction cause mental damage a person who have this case is no longer thinking the normal way.

If you already seen yourself keep following your instinct not missing any gambling events, and if inside your mind it's always strategy or a possible winning team that urging you to bet in.

That's a good sign that you need to stop or you need to ask help from your love ones, better to stop this before getting to deep and suffer
in the long run.

Good wives/husbands do not allow a family to break up because of any addictions of one family member. Such problems need to be solved together because a gambling addict is not able to cope alone. If the family is falling apart then it is likely that there are more serious problems within the family than gambling addiction.

I really welcome your statements. Yes, a guy who is addicted, can not be left unsupported. One can overcome from his or her addiction by the support of his family members. Yes, I was addicted to drinks and smokes but certainly i was not a chain smoker. However, my wife said, drink and smoke when I am at home but not anywhere else. This was really encouraging and yes I followed her instruction. She was besides me when i was drinking. But I started feeling that  since i can drink and smoke in house, i skipped to go out for smokes and drinks. Then often i was reminded of drinks by my wife when i crossed wine shops. But i did not feel drinking. Yes this helped me leave these habits. This has been more than 5 months since i have taken my drinks.

Yes, family members can change anything upon one's will to do so.
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: August 07, 2021, 06:02:55 PM
Its really challenging for parents. Unable to give out 100% effort in diverting children from playing online games. Though its parents responsibility, I feel online games should be restricted. Since every online sites or gaming platform strives to grow business, its much harder to prohibit them. Keeping this in mind, its better to divert children on to physical games. Parents need to spend more time in playing with them. It would take only few months to channel the children.
933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to seek help if you need; concerned with gambling addiction. on: August 07, 2021, 05:44:23 PM
Do not search anywhere. Its you are the only one who can yourself. The moment we realize that we are much addicted to something and we have to get out of it, then yes and thats the moment of change. Many can advice or give counselling. Unless and until the advice is taken inside and worked upon, nothing will change. Get advice where you will get ideas to eradicate the addiction thoughts.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin worth so much? on: August 06, 2021, 07:11:02 PM
Many other cryptocurrencies have been improved upon based on Bitcoin. In other words, Bitcoin must be inferior to them, but why is Bitcoin's value number one by far?
Why is Bitcoin worth so much? Huh

Hope you are not new to Crypto currency platform or here on forum. Bitcoin is the mother of bitcoin and yes the pioneer of crypto currency always had its demand as it was growing up. Word of mouth and news around really supported grow well in the market. Its the demand that really increased the price. All other crypto currencies which followed it, grew well based on bitcoin's growth.
935  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful of low marketcap coins on: August 06, 2021, 06:54:22 PM
We have so many coins which in market now. As said, all coins do not meet up the market-cap. It depends on the project and demand the volume goes up and down. Always choose the best coins which have good trading volume / market-cap. I would say, choose the coins that are below $1 and have more trading volume. Get into best exchanges. Keep 2FA Activated.
936  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It feel good to see Bitcoin going well on: August 06, 2021, 06:39:51 PM
When you work with Bitcoin and things are going uphill, you understand that you are not working in vain.

When you seriously love something and that goes well as you expect, yes its going to be the happiest day for you. Yes for all who invested into bitcoin and other crypto currencies, are and always expecting Bitcoin should do well followed by other crypto currencies. Yes now the trend is over welcoming and hope its maintained above $35k. This would bring in more investors and yes, it would obviously support to move upward.
937  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daytrading vs Holding on: August 06, 2021, 05:53:33 PM
Long term holding is the best process of making profits than daily trading. In day trading, it is often seen that the price goes down suddenly after buying a coin, in which case you have to wait until you get a price increase measure. In that case you lose a lot of time instead of profit.

What if after you hold your coins for long term for example six months then, on that day/month the value of your coins drop down drastically, so you are going to hold and wait again for the price to rise. That's a waste of time. If you do day trading you can earn profit or you will lose for a short period of time. All is depends on your knowledge and ability to do trading but for me both trading and long term holder are both risky and you don't know what will be the outcome of your investment in the future because no body knows what will be the future of your holdings.

Just holding does not mean that the holder should not watch the trend every day. Either you hold or do daytrading, its one's duty and responsibility to watch out for the trend of the coin where he/she invested and get himself updated on the coin. If this is done so, there wont be days to skip or miss the celebration moment.
938  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is not getting above $41,000 on: August 06, 2021, 05:16:26 PM
It touched $43. Must be slowly touching $45 in three to four days. After recent confirmation from Elon on accepting Bitcoin, the price slowly started picking up as many investors have just come up to purchase more bitcoin and other cyrpto currencies. I would say, still many are watching the market to either jump in or hold back. But the current move would certainly encourage and draw many into investment.
939  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easier to HODL if you are already rich? on: August 06, 2021, 04:56:15 PM
I would say, those who are even not rich and have no commitments, would certainly have less stress and can invest in bitcoin and hold them peacefully without much stress. I have personally experienced it. When I had a commitment and was expecting a turn over from trading, really I had to either sell them off at low profit or at loss. But when i did not have commitment, I peacefully held the orders and sold when only the trend was up.
940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: some people uneducate about Bitcoins on: August 06, 2021, 04:31:29 PM
5 years ago I heard about Bitcoins  some feedback are good but some of them are negative

Untill now In my country if you say/discuss about Bitcoins expect that their response are negative.

Why does some people always say negative about Bitcoins?

1. Lack of knowledge about Bitcoins, uneducate People only saw the negative sides of Bitcoins.
2. Some of them say negative feedback because of their experience on some sites about Bitcoins,  because now a days Bitcoin are popular but there are many site will scam you if you are spontaneous to invest in not trusted sites.

Many who say fake, should have experience in bitcoin transactions. My friends who were just questioning about bitcoin are now into it by either investing into it or getting into the signature campaigns. Media is the main platform in educating people on crypto currencies. Its they who play the role in spreading positive and negative vibration around. Word of mouth as well plays a role in it as well.
