924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO investment or Altcoin investment? on: June 08, 2019, 11:54:50 PM
First you have to decide what you want ICO or holding potential coins.
To begin with, you have to study ICOs and risks involved thus knowing if it's right for you or not, on the other hand you have to understand that the crypto space is volatile before thinking of any altcoin to invest in or holding.
In my own opinion, investing in altcoins brings more reward.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which countries are more friendlier to crypto? on: June 08, 2019, 11:50:51 PM
Malta is already doing well and offering a good ground for blockchain projects. Singapore isn't left out too, as I have come in contact with most projects there doing arguably well. But there is one country which is taking others by surprise and that is Switzerland. Switzerland government regulations on blockchain projects is highly friendly and suitable for growth of the crypto space.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO better than ICO? on: June 08, 2019, 11:47:51 PM
In my own opinion and experience I will say IEO is better. In IEO you only have to pass the requirements set by the exchange before participating which is unlike in ICO. Furthermore, with the exchange being in charge of carrying out verification of the team members, it will be able to ascertain the right project that is worthy to use its exchange for IEO.
927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Blockchain replace the SWIFT system used by Banks? on: June 08, 2019, 11:44:34 PM
Many platforms inclusive of the banks will one day come to the resolution that blockchain has come to stay thus embracing it. But I think for blockchain to achieve this feat it first needs to be scalable thus offering high Transaction Per Second (TPS) in this way causing the neccessry mass adoption.
928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is the FINAL on: June 08, 2019, 11:41:52 PM
Blockchain is already on the path to commercialize and disrupt many platforms. You should not be disheartened over the projects which launched in the bear market and ever since then has failed to grow it shows the team really need to do something. There are other projects which launched in the bear market but are doing well today and that is a sign of a project with a great team.
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Switzerland - new crypto paradise in Europe? on: June 08, 2019, 11:38:23 PM
This is just the truth. Where most countries are busy Implementing strict regulations which is totally unfriendly to any blockchain projects, Switzerland on the other is busy as well as Implementing regulations which will make it possible and easy for upcoming projects to build and launch. One thing is clear, with Switzerland taking this step, in years to come will be at a competitive advantage over other in terms of the affairs of the blockchain.
930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in anonymous cryptocurrencies on: June 06, 2019, 05:48:15 PM
I think the potential of any coin to grow or to the extent that it's growth will surpass it's counterpart depends on what the team is bringing to the table. That is, what major updates are they offering? Etc. I think these are what matters. Also, while predicting the future price of any coin remember to take volatility into account.
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Token LEO of Bitfinex Exchange have the potential as BNB? on: June 06, 2019, 05:45:04 PM
This is just like comparing both exchanges or rather the team within both exchanges. Taking a look at Binance, you will agree with me that the team is up and doing, with that in mind, LEO from Bitfinex will have or be better than BNB is the team puts in extra effort to make sure the goals and objectives are met. The space is now competitive and only the best keeps gaining attention.
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do investors think about ICO? on: June 06, 2019, 05:41:12 PM
I think a greater number of investors knows exactly what they are getting involved with, that is investing in any project, but what I don't really know is if most took time to study those projects before investing.
A price of a project going down after ICO is normal but going further down without any sign of recovery is abnormal and to a great length shows the inefficiency of the team.
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome to the future on: June 06, 2019, 05:38:19 PM
Yes, that's right although its yet to be massive but a clear look shows its already taking place. Most platforms are now understanding the power of blockchain and cryptocurrencies and thus getting involved in one way or the other.
It is just a matter of time and mass adoption will take place at full scale.
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't test the Depth of water with Both Feets on: June 06, 2019, 05:36:19 PM
That's a good advice and only if most will Implement it will go a long way to save them unnecessary headaches and sleeplessness.
We should learn first what risk is all about, as it is with any investment before thinking of going for any project this is to safeguard our funds to a greater extent while taking into account the volatility of this space.
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT TO DO ABOUT 2019? on: June 06, 2019, 05:32:55 PM
I was able to scale through last year bear market because I came to realize am the master of the decisions I made and should man up to them. Secondly I knew what the crypto space offers and it's future benefits so I decided (with a friend's advice) to buy coins like ETH with any spare that comes my way and it wasn't bad afterwards.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No knowledge is lost. on: June 06, 2019, 05:29:25 PM
I think I understand what you are saying; let's take it like this, when you build a project with your funds it is likely to do well and as people starts investing you can expand and bring in more services. This can be likened to projects which didn't carry out any ICO but are doing well than their counterparts.
Also, there are other who couldn't list or build any MVP due to lack of funds. So I think it all depends on the team, what they knows and their capabilities.
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Skam or a way to make money? on: June 06, 2019, 05:25:59 PM
It can't be disputed that there are no scam projects out there, there is infact they are many. But one question; why are most platforms adopting cryptocurrencies and blockchain into their payment systems or platforms? It can be seen that there is more to the crypto space than what someone who lacks the knowledge knows.
So crypto has come to change many things in this world, thus it is not scam; but rather we should be careful of what we invest in.
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Courage for cryptocurrency participants on: June 06, 2019, 05:22:06 PM
You have said it all and that's the way it is. When one falls there is only one choice and that is, continue or quit. But taking a look at this space, the opportunities and the potentials one will know that quitting is not an option.
It is right for us to know that there are good things here and with the right knowledge we can access them.
939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook plans to launch 'GlobalCoin' currency in 2020 on: June 06, 2019, 05:19:32 PM
There have been many news about Facebook coin, I only wish to goes as plan that is it offers something unique which will be in accordance with the crypto sphere. Gone are the days of hype now what we want is real use case. Nevertheless, I will be on the lookout to see what happens.
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A New Bitcoin Rival Is Coming? on: June 03, 2019, 12:01:11 AM
How can this be a rival to Bitcoin when it's yet to be launched?
Another question, can it survive what Bitcoin passed through over the years? The badmouthing etc.
We should learn that Bitcoin grew against all odds and thus where it is today, so valuable and respected. Till the end of time, I don't think Bitcoin will have a rival.
