It is needless for an indivual to do so when we already have reputable sites setup to host these bets.

I guess we should close up #bitcoin-otc too since there are sites setup to trade coins.   Roll Eyes

there is a large difference between trading, gambling and "gambling via insecure and unaccountable methods".

If you need more information on the subtle differences Id be happy to elaborate.
922  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDice Question on: August 23, 2012, 02:42:59 PM
the tx fee is subtracted from the winnings iirc, since its a bet with such a small payout it only makes sense for larger bets.
923  Economy / Gambling / Re: mem's BITCOIN GAMBLING LIST on: August 23, 2012, 01:34:12 PM
added the following quote regarding mathews bet,

- He is very eager to bet a LOT of money without escrow
- He can "trust" you basically over nothing
- He is suddenly very unwilling and unresponsive when you makes step towards getting an actual escrow.
- The form of the bet is very un-professionnal as far as big bets goes

I think this is a scam and all his noise is just a distraction.
Please bet carefully.

It just struck me as funny that the previous seven posts are all from some of the most heavily ignored posters on the forums.  Sort of a "conversation between the ignored" or something.  I picture the three of them using the "cone of silence" in the old Get Smart show.

Thanks for the get smart reference and no we dont use the cone of silence we all use our shoe phones.

So a delusional immature adult, thats worse than being a kid with no clue.

Incredible how that quote of yours describe you so well, mem.

You have some serious issues, dude. Last time it was me who was scamming referrals, now it's Matt who is only 17.
Get of your high horse before you fall from it.

Hi psy, I see your still grinding that axe I see.
929  Economy / Gambling / Re: PIRATE AR 10'000% return on your bets - Allowing bets up to 21 trillion bitcoins on: August 23, 2012, 11:03:53 AM
Quoted this for the future (2100?)

Im not sure of Pirates investors life expectancy and also there are medical developments to consider.
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm giving 100% ROI away to anyone who thinks pirate is a fraud on: August 23, 2012, 11:02:43 AM
if I defaulted on my bet, I'd have a legal excuse of being a minor and not being legally allowed to sign a contract without parent consent and I'd use you as proof since you know my age for sure. LOL Epic.

Just quoting verbatim what Matthew thinks about his possible con, he thinks it is quite amusing.

Please resume throwing your money away Wink
931  Economy / Gambling / Re: mem's BITCOIN GAMBLING LIST on: August 23, 2012, 11:00:43 AM
If I am indeed misinformed about your age, perhaps you consider why it is so easy for me and others to assume you are young. I should stop lying about having proof of your age.
FTFY.

So you do not understand the english language or more likely just far to childish to resolve a disagreement (hurt butt , needs soothing).

Please, don't change anything. I'm just messing with you.
No, I will update it to reflect the current known information about you (highly unstable individual).
My thread serves to help out newbies looking to gamble and to warn them from potential con artists such as yourself.

I honestly hope you keep everything you said the same, because it's hilariously entertaining and if I defaulted on my bet, I'd have a legal excuse of being a minor

Yes that is 1 of my concerns, thank and a stupid little teen getting himself in hot water from an internet witch hunt.

932  Economy / Gambling / Re: mem's BITCOIN GAMBLING LIST on: August 23, 2012, 10:45:58 AM
Do you have any proof that I am 17 years old?
Many articles quote your age - pick one. I guess you are about to run around and bet each of the journalists about your age and then call them cowardly liars when they refuse to bet with a child ?
I can't stop lolling. Can you show me any part of the internet outside of a vandalized wikipedia page where it is stated that I am 17? Also, when you figure out that I'm not 17, how much are you going to pay for defaming like an idiot? If you're not indeed scared of having been deathly wrong, why are you cowardly avoiding putting your money where your mouth is?

Prove your honesty (partialy at least) by providing id.

As an independent individual, I would state that I believe Matthew is older then 17. Try digging up his pictures and see for yourself.

So a delusional immature adult, thats worse than being a kid with no clue.

Notice how he doesn't apologize for spreading FUD.  Roll Eyes "honest"

There is no FUD matthew except everything you spew out in your own defense.

Allow me to educate your ignorant self on the English language.

Liar - Someone who knowingly presents falsehoods as fact.
Mistaken - Someone who is misinformed.

If I am indeed misinformed about your age, perhaps you consider why it is so easy for me and others to assume you are young.
I shall edit the post, striking out your age but the warning shall remain as you have not demonstrated any reason why you should be trusted, especially when it comes to handling bets.

Since you have been offered to back your opinions with proof provided and have declined, is there any reason to believe that this is anything but a bad faith attempt to defame?

Are you religious by any chance, Im starting to see similarities between fundie logic and your fail-logic.

Occam's Razor says I am simply trying to warn people againts a possible scam, reason that one away will you.

I see you still employee your pathetic scare tactic (bet against me or stfu) - I guess when you are a one trick pony.....

Very simply, if I am requesting you to stop spreading disinformation about my age
This is the first request I have seen my child, as previously said many articles cite you as a 17 person who failed to complete high school due to difficulties and ended up in Korea.

Im sorry if journalists have misrepresented you, a mature person would go to the source instead of attacking the messenger.

your response is that I am lying and that you are in the right

Look kid, take a deep breath, calm down and try explaining yourself.

it only makes sense that you are able to back this up with evidence and it is a sure bet for you.
it only makes sense in your delusional word matthew, Im begining think you are actually quite unhinged.

I extend to you a wager of any amount of your choosing to prove your side

Myself placing a bet only serves to prove I have placed a bet....
Again your logic fails also I will not make any bets with a minor.

Any honest person would either change their stance, or if absolutely sure, would take the wager as it is not a gamble at all but a sure thing.

Matt, I think you do not have any idea what an honest person would do but allow me to correct you.
An honest person tells the truth, an honest person often does not gamble (not me I love to gamble).

I think you are mistaking honesty (a value with i doubt you have much of) with pig headed pride (something you have bucket loads of).

Do not bet with Matthew, he has no proof he can honor your bets and is only 17yo.

Wanna bet?

 Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

I appreciate the humor Smiley

So you would prefer to be known as a liar?

ahh here is very clear that you attempt to employee intimidation tactics.

1) I have not lied, period.
2) refusing your insecure, unaccountable bet is proof I have refused your bet.
3) Since you cannot goad me into giving your scam more money you start slandering me by calling me a liar without proof - the very thing you got upset over when directed at you.

Thank you for demonstrating that you are either a simple idiot or a scammer - I shall reference your quote frequently.

edit: Nice attempt at a ninja edit matthew but I caught your quote.

He added this post my reply:

Quote
who despite the opportunity to inquire into the truth of something and equally given the opportunity to back your statements cowardly avoids them?

Good to know. I guess I can't trust you for your side of our bet.

What disgusting person.

Quote
who despite the opportunity to inquire into the truth of something

... This is what I am doing and what you are attacking me and everyone else for.
I should not be surprised - you are a child and you behave as such unfortunately.

We're surrounded by trolls and people who hide behind the veil of anonymity.
IE pirate, the guy holding all the btc.
He's anonymous? Since when?

Ok now I am changing my opinion, I believe you are indeed a scammer.

Easy solution. Stop hiding and tell me what I would need to prove that I'm not a scammer, we'll find some other trusted member, we'll escrow the coins, and you'll wager that I am in fact scamming. Again, easy money for me.

Oh you are open to discussion ?

ok - lets see proof of the btc required to payout your current bettors entirely without delay.
Then follow up by placing the entire sum required to payout bettors in the hand of a "trusted" third party.
