921  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰yummygame.io| Join NEW Crypto games! 🎉 on: December 03, 2023, 02:45:11 PM
I think your launch date of January are wrong timing ...and you would have been better off launching it in December, when everyone still have money and where they were in a silly mood to spend money.

Most people have spend all their money in December and you will have less new customers signing up in January. It would have also been better if you added the main menus for your websites or even a small introduction to the site and what it would be offering in the future. (When you click on the menus, the popup text will say ..."launching this feature in January"  Roll Eyes

That's true this is the time where people are on spending and gambling spree December is considered the best time for casinos you can get a good percentage of your investment back many casinos are offering bonuses and perks so you continue playing or be your preferred casino, majority of business are launching their product and services in December.

But maybe the team wants to launch their platform at the start of the year, some businessmen believe it can bring good luck to their business it s Fengshui belief, whatever their reason on why they choose January the most important is they are competitive, they are dedicated to establishing their reputation and they can launch massive marketing,
Some casinos started strong then fade away quickly, maybe their launching is well planned so they choose January.
922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Oscar Duarte (December 2) on: December 03, 2023, 12:55:39 PM

I also don't understand why Duarte didn't get up on time, maybe his legs were not still there so he didn't bother to beat the referee's count.
You are right I replayed that moment when he was being counted his legs were not there and when he got up his legs were shaking, there were 11 seconds to go before the bell, and in those 11 seconds left Garcia could seriously hurt him, so its right that the referee stop the fight even though he barely made it

Quote
Yeah, many people inside the arena seem to not like the new style of Ryan Garcia, for me he seems afraid on the brawl type of fight, had he not connected that left hook, that booing would have continued until the 12th round.
Yes and if Garcia won by decision fans would not like it, because he just keeps on running and refuses to engage, not the Garcia that people used to see.
This is not surprising since he has a new trainer and his trainer has mapped out a plan for Ryan, he wants Romero next but he doesn't want the money being offered to him by The Golden Boy promotion, let's see who will Garcia fight next I like to see him get a rematch against Gervonta.

923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CASHOUT OR NOT???? on: December 03, 2023, 12:21:18 PM
HELLO EVERYONE

I PROMISED I'D COME BACK WITH UPDATES ON THE OUTCOME AND RESULT OF THE GAME. I SHOULD HAVE UPDATED Y'ALL EARLIER THAN THIS ( YESTERDAY) BUT I'VE BEEN PRETTY BUSY WITH STUFFS. AND SO I DECIDED NOT TO CASH OUT AND LET THE GAME PLAY THROUGH AND I DID. BUT UNFORTUNATELY ONE OF THE GAMES TOOK A NEGATIVE TURN AND RUINED EVERYTHING. I'M A BIT DISAPPOINTED BUT I'M STILL NOT REGRETTING MY DECISION BECAUSE THAT'S GAMBLE FOR YOU, SOMETIMES YOU WIN, SOMETIMES YOU LOOSE, SOMETIMES YOU'RE KEPT IN A TIGHT CORNER TO MAKE CERTAIN DECISIONS, SOMETIMES YOU MAKE THE RIGHT ONE, AND SOMETIMES THR WRONG ONES BUT THAT'S THE WORLD OF GAMBLE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT Y'ALL WOULD GONNA LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE BUT I DON'T REGRET MY ACTIONS AND IF I'M TO BE FACED WITH THE SAME SITUATION AGAIN, I'D STILL CHOOSE TO LET IT PLAY THROUGH.

I remember advising you that whatever decision or action you take it should be something that you are comfortable with and you can have a good sleep and since you already stated in this post that you are comfortable with your decision to go, then it is good to move forward now, that's the fact of gambling when you think you have it in the bag then unexpected things happen.
I'm sure you will learn from this and take the best action next time you are in the same position, anyway, I'm sure its an exciting ride and you enjoy the experience, I'm sure next time you will finally get it in the bag.
924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: December 03, 2023, 06:10:05 AM

However, it is critical to realize the risks involved, which include unstable financial circumstances and potential addiction problems. So, pursuing a gambling career should be approached with serious caution, and gamblers ought to be well-informed about the accompanying problems. Furthermore, I believe that having various sources of income and taking calculated risks will be highly beneficial.
If you are going and trying to make a living in gambling you should have something to back up you and you should be financially stable you just want this out of passion and you want to crack the code because of the challenges involved, it's emotionally draining and there's a possibility that it will leave you with an empty pocket, you also have to draw the line when you should stop, even if you have a mental stability your pocket could not keep up.

Quote
But, in a broader sense, can you make gambling a career path, abandoning all other sources of income to focus entirely on it?
If so, why?
If not, please advise!
I could but behind the scenes as part of the gambling operation but against the house it is 50/50 and I will regret it later if I keep trying without the needed resources to back me up, everybody is discouraged from trying to beat the house and make a living in gambling, gambling is an entertainment platform and treating it differently will cost you a lot.
925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Keeping Numbers Or You Allow The Machine To Pick Your Numbers To Bet on: December 03, 2023, 04:19:01 AM

In your country do you have this LP lucky pick feature in the lotto form and do you choose LP to make a bet for you or are you keeping numbers to bet, what are your reasons, and what's your success rate?

I used to have favorite numbers when betting I think I kept it for one year and I bet on it five times a week, the fear of your number coming out with you not betting in is very true, I have read a lot of stories where they are keeping their favorite numbers that they are betting daily, then the number comes out but unfortunately, they did not bet on it and that's a heart breaker, after one year of betting I shifted to lucky pick because keeping favorite numbers to bet will make you addicted to the lottery.

We have no control over luck some bettors won on their first try and some bettors took 10 years or even longer to hit the jackpot, whether you are keeping numbers or choosing a lucky pick it is still fate and luck that will decide the outcome, it's just when you choose the Lucky Pick you are not attached to numbers that you must bet daily for fear of missing out, choosing a lucky pick you are free from any attachment.
926  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BC Game shady scamsite? on: December 02, 2023, 04:43:44 PM
They invest a lot in advertising outside this forum they focus on A-ads and other popular advertising networks, but if you're asking if BC.game is a scam site check this thread

Introducing BC.Game Support Team: Building Trust and Transparency

They have many scam accusations but on this thread, they are addressing them one by one although there are a few that are left unresolved because both parties can't agree. better check those unresolved and judge for yourselves if BC.GAME has done its best to resolve it.

One, only one that's not solved becausse BC believe the user cheated, the other cases are solved, the one that's the user refuse to accept as solved were as good as cleared, given the reason I pointed out after I re-read their case.

And everything was fast, casinos can really resolve these issues if they are dedicated and serious to resolving these accusations, there's one new accusation but I'm sure BC.Game will also resolve it, they have to keep their presence here but with so many players playing in their platform and more coming, there's always issues that will pop up or players that is not satisfied on the result of their betting.
I thought they are the new 1xbit but they proved us wrong, they kept their words so they got their reputation back.
927  Economy / Reputation / Re: After Sinbad, which mixer is Next To Be Shutdown? on: December 02, 2023, 03:44:47 PM
Simple question, difficult answer.
Many mixers are active on Bitcointalk but how long will each one last?
Seems to be just a matter of time until we'll have our next mixer shutdown.

Pick your one, which is next!

We'll never know that and no one can update the community after January 1 because mixers and anything about mixers even the mere mention of Bitcoin mixer is not allowed, after January 1 nobody here in Bitcointalk will care about mixer anymore, so if you're a Bitcoin mixer and a member of Bitcointalk you cannot ask about Bitcoin mixer if you encounter a problem.
This year is the year of the mixer after the closure of Chipmixer many mixers have launched their announcement here vying to be the next popular mixer here by launching a signature campaign.
But it was short-lived because of what happened to Sinbad and the connection of many users' addresses.
928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Oscar Duarte (December 2) on: December 02, 2023, 01:53:20 PM

And we know that Ryan's best weapons is his left hook. So I don't think that this fight is going to distance. It will be under 8.5 in my opinion and Ryan winning by stoppage or by a brutal left hook.

Ryan lives and dies with his left hook we have seen it in all his past fights, It is just unfortunate that Gervonta does not want to open for that left hook he is fully aware that the left hook will unload anytime because that was Ryan Garcia's best weapon.

Now if Duarte did his assignment and was fully prepared to counter that left hook then we have a fight and Ryan needs to improvise or change his plan, that has been Ryan's weakness he has no alternate plan when his left hook cannot deliver he has no other course of action.

Another of Ryan's weaknesses is his poor defense, the counter can easily get in, but anyway, Duarte is not Gervonta who is a veteran of tough fights and a thinking fighter, something that cannot be said of Duarte.
929  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The fate of mixers. on: December 02, 2023, 11:30:36 AM
In my opinion, in the future we will see mixers that will refuse to mix coins from hacks or any other criminals activity.

In order to achieve that, a high level of blockchain analytics is necessary, so they can automatically refuse coins from some addresses.

This is the only way that they can do that, but mixers do their things automatically because it works like a cronjob and if they tried to block certain address its possible that its a false positive and the user will file a complaint and this will ruin their reputation.

Their blockchain analytics if they are going to use one should be proficient to block address if its not, people will file accusations and of course being a mixer they cannot ask for KYC its against their niche because they are anonymity based.
Running a mixer is a risky business but there's a market on the use of mixer, so they are will operate until they are stopped by authorities.
930  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What I would do if I owned a bitcoin mixing service on: December 02, 2023, 10:35:46 AM

Well, maybe I have to give up here  Grin

Well, better lock this thread if you give up your idea, I don't think any kind of manipulation to promote a mixer here will succeed we have the community looking at every project that is being promoted here and we have the moderators checking the announcement since Bitcoin mixer is a hot topic now, they will see to it that the community will comply and any members will try to manipulate in promoting a mixer will get an outright ban.

The community was ok when there were very few mixers being promoted here, there will be more projects that will come here and utilize Bitcointalk's popularity to promote their project, after January 2 the casino platforms will be the major advertisers here in the signature campaign, I just hope many casinos old and new will launch their campaign here, so we can incentivize quality posters that once part of mixing campaign.
931  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where the mixers will promote their projects? on: December 02, 2023, 04:20:08 AM
After read this thread Mixers to be banned, there's a question popped into my head.

Which site or forum that these centralized mixers promote their projects? Cheesy

It's not a question of where to promote as long as Google is not banning Bitcoin mixers and the authorities are not requesting or instructing domain registrar and hosting to host these Bitcoin mixers they will continue to exist, Bitcointalk is just one of the platforms out of hundred platforms like Reddit, forums and reviewers they will still have a presence, the question is how users are going to find out about which Bitcoin mixers are legit and are not because Bitcointalk is a place where you can discover legit websites.
There are so many fake mixers on the internet and Bitcointalk is a place where they expose, because this is a discussion community their presence will still be felt because it has a huge market
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CASHOUT OR NOT???? on: December 01, 2023, 03:29:34 PM
If you are winning already, you can cash out, but if you can afford to lose the money, why cashing out.

I will also advise him to decide this way, it's hard to decide if this is your first time in this position, I experienced this before and I had a good sleep after I cashed out even if I lost the chance to make a big paycheck, but if you go for it and lose everything you will have a sleepless night so its not a choice of the amount of money rather but how are you going to take it and how are you going to sleep with your decisions.

You have to be calm when faced with this situation the greediness within you is your worst enemy, whatever you decide and the outcome let us know so we can also learn from your experience, it's good that you posted it here.
933  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: A scammer selling Bitcoin for $1000 on: December 01, 2023, 02:22:45 PM
Even if the thread is indexed by Google I don't think he will find a buyer, this is what's the purpose of Bitcointalk's trust rating and flag creation for people to be aware of the character of the behavior, and what he is selling or offering is dubious.

And it's plain commonsense why will you sell Bitcoin for $1000 when it's worth $38k in the market?
And there's no escrow and even if he offers escrow I'm sure that whoever he will recommend is part of the scammer's team.
By creating this thread he is taking a chance since there is no cost and little effort, he is an idiot to think that he can find somebody here with all the warnings on his profile.
934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Oscar Duarte (December 2) on: December 01, 2023, 01:55:44 PM

But I do like what Bernard says though, "boxing will call your bluff".

Take it from someone who's been here for 28 years he knows what he's talking about, the boxing community demands so much from boxers if they want to be called elite, Bernard just wants Ryan to step up and motivate him there's a misinterpretation between the two camps.
Seriously this is very hard for Ryan, as a boxer you don't want to step into the ring with issues within your camp, your camp should have 100% support for you so you can perform at your best.
I'm now very curious about how things will unfold but one thing is clear the wounds are so deep that I don't think they can be patched, Ryan needs a new promotion and it's going to be a big disaster if Ryan gets upset by Duarte.
Let's see if Ryan can fight or perform under pressure, he badly needs this win if he wants to continue his trail to his legacy, that has been halted by a loss from Gervonta.
935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Using AI for betting predictions on: December 01, 2023, 10:01:26 AM
There is a poll relating to this question of yours if AI should be use in predicting sports outcome

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5427381.0;topicseen

Imo, I think it won't work. The current AI we now is basically just machine-learning. It only knows what users teach it. Unless someone already know what the outcome would be in any game, then using ai won't be reliable.

I also voted no on that poll and I'm right in voting no because until now, no one has come forward to boast that they made a lot of money from using AI on their predictions, AI uses information that is already online, they cache these pieces of information and these are what they provide in users queries.

AI can help you in your analysis but they are prone to error because they are not created to have an intuition because part of betting is having an intuition, its always a combination of analysis, intuition, and luck, a human can have these three but AI cannot have all these three
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting? on: December 01, 2023, 02:41:29 AM

What can you say about this? Are you willing to risk your $18 to win $18k, or a million in PHP pesos?

I am willing to bet but I have to accept the fact that I will have to be extremely lucky to win that huge amount because it's not easy winning a small bet to win that huge amount, even if you're good at sports betting you still need the luck to do that, many sports bettors are risk takers because they also believe in luck and extreme luck, while you may be good in analyzing every team and fighters it's still not a guaranty that you will be accurate in your bets.
Sports betting is much more challenging than luck-based games because even though you decide the result you will have to hope and pray that everything fall into pieces.
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Oscar Duarte (December 2) on: November 30, 2023, 11:19:32 PM
^ There's another interview from Bernard wherein he said:

Quote
“I will see how Ryan looks and then make my personal decision on whether he should fight again.”

https://www.boxingscene.com/ryan-garcia-lashes-out-golden-boy-hopkins-why-you-disrespect-your-only-superstar-fighter-right-now--179606

You can read Ryan's rant about it and decide who has a point or who is just hyping the fight.

As far as promotion goes, it is still done by Oscar, even though he is a partner of GBP, Bernard usually is in the sideline and he let Oscar do all the talking during promotions.
Well, here's a video of that

Ryan Garcia RIPS Bernard Hopkins & De La Hoya over criticism! LASHES OUT at final presser!

Check the look on Oscar Dela Hoya's face while talking about that, it's pretty obvious that the two camps are headed to split and Ryan wants out of Oscar's The Golden Boy Promotion, he cannot stand the two managers of The Golden Boy, it's just good to see that he is very motivated to get back winning and hopefully, this is the fight that will bring him back, so he can humiliate Bernard and Oscar.
Can't wait to see the fight happen and the interviews after the fight.
938  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: November 30, 2023, 09:27:21 PM
Last time I checked there was no notification that my country is not restricted but when checking the site it displayed
Quote
Sorry! It looks like you’re trying to access bc.game from a restricted area!
As per gaming license norms, we are unable to accept players from your region! Contact support@bc.game for further assistance!

If this is an added feature this is good, casinos should have this displayed as pop up if there are visitors from restricted countries so they know what's coming and they will not proceed to join, deposit, and play, there are still many players who do not read terms and sometimes there's an update on the list of restricted countries and they are not aware of it, and will only come to know it after they made a withdrawal.
939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why sports betting? on: November 30, 2023, 04:06:57 PM
I'm not a big fan of sports betting online but I used to bet on track on horse betting in our country and believe there's too much work and too much analysis to do, when I was into horse racing betting the internet was not yet popular and I don't have a computer to keep records of the performance of each horse, I'm doing it manually and there's too much effort, focus and time needed, now that we have a lot of tools to help us track our works I still feel that its not enough, sometimes luck is plays a major factor and its hard to hit a big jackpot.
And since gambling is not my bread and butter I prefer to play on luck based games, but maybe in the future I will have more time and go back to my old passion of betting in sports
940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: November 30, 2023, 03:33:55 PM

You must have heard 1% strategy in trading, the same can be applied in gambling too and believe me, you will feel a lot more comfortable using this 1% of your money in every game.
This also gives you a lot of games to play before you end up on your money as on every bet you will use 1% of your money. In case you lose all bets, you will be playing 100 games because your money is exhausted.

I once read how good that 1% but I prefer to play with money that I can afford to lose and most of the time it's not 1% but I made sure that I never go over 10%
the most important is you enjoy the game and you are comfortable with the money that you've lost it need not be 1% as long as I'm ok I can log out without thinking that I think I lost more than what I can afford to lose I'm ok with it when I was single I can afford to spend 20% but now family comes first you have to think your household budget first before your gambling allocation.

But I know some people who go overboard and spend up to 30% of their monthly income, the reason is they have a good winning average with their betting, some gamblers are exempted from this 1 to 10% rule and these gamblers are known as risk takers.
