Whats pizza factor? lol Smiley

and what time does it payout?

thanks

It pays out at 7:30 PM PST. I might start doing 2 payouts a day.

Pizza factor is a bet I made with a friend. He owes me a pizza if I get 50 paid users. Smiley

Also guys, keep in mind that today's profits are unusual. They were because of circumstances that you might be able to deduce if you follow altcoin news closely.

Once I get paid today u sir are getting a tip Cheesy

If you make me more than 30% over my normal mining profits over the next month Ill buy you a pizza too. Cheesy

13 hours mining and my BTC balance on the pool is more than I normally make in 24 hours so I think I will stay. lol
944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: July 22, 2013, 02:07:28 AM
I just pointed 4mh/s at your pool. I will keep it on for 24 hours then switch it back to multipool, I will check my total BTC recieved 24 hours after I stop mining.

I'm trying to get an objective idea of profitability. If you make me more than I would make at multipool you may have a permanent customer. Cheesy

Fontas's famous for PUMP N DUMP. Now that PUMP has been announced public, I am afraid DUMP is the real intention.  Wink

I'm gambling on DUMP N PUMP myself.

Sounds like.

Cleavland steamer
Where a female lays on her back while her male partner proceeds to have sex with the female partners breasts. During the back and forth motion (Similar to that of a STEAM engines wheel cranks) the male proceeds to defecate, leaving a shit smear track, much like a train track, leading all similarities to coin the term "Cleavland Steamer" intended to allude to a Cleavland Steam Engine.

Thats a real pump and dump.

I had one of your banner ads on my site and signed up for Google Adwords and they wouldn't approve me till I removed it. They said your ad was malicious so I was forced to remove it. Any idea why Google thinks your malicious?

951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTER Withdrawal states "Processing" on: July 16, 2013, 08:11:34 AM
It happened to me when I withdrew 10btc, they have invisible limits where its mandatory for a human to complete the withdraw. If you withdraw a large amount it may trigger their limit and you will have to wait hours or a day or 2 to get your withdraw processed. If you have a large amount to withdraw split it up into multiple smaller withdraws.
952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XPM] [FASTER!] Mining PrimeCoin using DigitalOcean (VPS) on: July 16, 2013, 01:39:36 AM
How do i replace the ancient version with the new one, without delete/recreate my droplet? And keeping the same wallet

I replace it.  Here, lete me help you out some on linux.  I move the old files out and then create a new section.

Quote
primecoind stop
cd ~
mv primecoin old4
git clone https://github.com/mikaelh2/primecoin

cd ~/primecoin/src
make -f makefile.unix USE_UPNP=-
mkdir ~/.primecoin
echo "rpcuser=miner2
rpcpassword=test2
gen=1" > ~/.primecoin/primecoin.conf
sudo mv primecoind /usr/local/bin/.

primecoind --daemon

I don't understand. When I try to git the source, I get this:

Cloning into 'primecoin'...
error: The requested URL returned error: 502 Bad Gateway while accessing https://github.com/mikaelh2/primecoin/info/refs?service=git-upload-pack
fatal: HTTP request failed

Any recommendations?
github disable mikaelh's git. Try this: https://bitbucket.org/pankkake/mikaelh2-primecoin.git

well thats fked. "excessive use of resources", lol
953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XPM] [FASTER!] Mining PrimeCoin using DigitalOcean (VPS) on: July 13, 2013, 11:24:41 PM
Is there a way to send my wallet.dat from the vps to my machine?

Thanks in advance!

You can copy it, but importing private keys is easier...

It may be easier but if u just copy wallet.dat you dont have to import the private key from every block mined. You can just copy the wallet.dat to your main wallet and start the server mining and leave it. No need to check for blocks mined because they will automatically show up in your wallet.
Thats all well and good, but what happens if it gets compromised or your have a dodge host who has the same thought

This could happen whether you copy your wallet.dat or not.

does anyone know the command to set primecoind --daemon to run at boot?

956  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: How long an assembled board miner lives? on: July 08, 2013, 07:12:36 PM

When will the earth be destroyed?
in about 5 billion years

Destruction is closer than you think... the Earth without life is simply not Earth.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Future_of_the_Earth

During the next four billion years, the luminosity of the Sun will steadily increase, resulting in a rise in the solar radiation reaching the Earth. This will cause a higher rate of weathering of silicate minerals, which will cause a decrease in the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. In about 600 million years, the level of CO2 will fall below the level needed to sustain C3 carbon fixation photosynthesis used by trees. Some plants use the C4 carbon fixation method, allowing them to persist at CO2 concentrations as low as 10 parts per million. However, the long-term trend is for plant life to die off altogether. The die off of plants will be the demise of almost all animal life, since plants are the base of the food chain on Earth.

Its still earth even with no life. You assume that absolutely no life will survive tho. What about extremaphobes? To quote a man that turned into a giant fly and survived run away dinosaurs,

The change will be so slow that life will evolve to compensate. I believe there will be life on earth right up until the end. We may not recognize it but it will be there none the less.

When will my phone stop working?
Average cellphone life is around 2 years

When will my TV die?
Average LCD life is 4-10 years

When will my light bulbs burn out?
125 days on average

When will my car engine need to be replaced?
7.6 years on average

How long will I live?
Humans live 78 years on average

When will the earth be destroyed?
in about 5 billion years

How will the earth be destroyed?
The sun will expand as it is forced to burn heavier elements and will engulf the Earth

What will happen to the solar system?
After the sun burns out and becomes a brown dwarf all the plannets that are left will still be in orbit but will not get much heat energy from our sun, eventually the big chill, 0 energy state.

Will the universe expand to infinity or contract? Or will there be a heat death of the universe...
The theory with the most credibility is the big chill where the expansion slows to a stop and everything that is moving uses up its energy and stops, this is a 0 energy state.

Why are we here?
Does there have to be a reason? To be or not to be. Life evolved so asking why we are here is like asking a tree why it grows.

Btw, the big chill/0 energy state is kind of self defeating if the universe has an easy way to convert matter to energy. It happened in the big bang, a ton of energy was turned to matter. When the big bang happened both matter and anti-matter were formed they exist in the universe in equal amounts, its possible that eventually all matter/anti-matter will annihilate itself leaving nothing.

In quantum mechanics particles actually appear to pop in and out of existence. Our universe popped in to existence from seemingly nothing(big bang) and for the equation to equal 0 it will pop out of existence eventually too.

So its possible that our universe will expand to a point that it will reach its limits of expansion, expansion force meeting gravitational pull. Then gravity will win, because it always does and it will all start contracting culminating in a singularity.

From ashes to ashes, dust to dust, singularity to singularity.

At the end of the film Terminator 3, John Conner explains what Skynet was and what it had done.  I replaced Skynet with Bitcoin in the quote below:

Quote from: John Connor in Terminator 3

By the time [Bitcoin] became self-aware it had spread into millions of computer servers across the planet. Ordinary computers in office buildings, dorm rooms; everywhere. It was software; in cyberspace. There was no system core; it could not be shutdown.

I can do that too.

By the time [The Dildo] became self-aware it had spread into millions of computer servers across the planet. Ordinary computers in office buildings, dorm rooms; everywhere. It was software; in cyberspace. There was no system core; it could not be shutdown.

Please just dont destroy the menkind!

Well... The AI ive described would be very very slow. But when you think in terms of macroscopic time, like time relative to planets forming and stars being born and dying it would be very fast. lol

The same experiment could be done with a faster AI brain, taking the cryptocurrency out of the equation or letting the AI neurons talk to each other directly and unencrypted. But then someone could just take out the AI portion of the code and have just a plain wallet. The only reason I think it needs a cryptocurrency backing is its a great way to reward processing power.

What I'm talking about is something along the lines of this http://www.neurdon.com/2010/10/27/biologically-realistic-neural-models-on-gpu/ but BIGGER waaaaaayyyyyy BIGGER.
