941  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wixiplay is an unadulterated scam on: July 18, 2020, 08:39:57 PM
according to your screenshot if you didn't win a single bet so your wager and negative profit should be same  Grin
this screenshot is not acceptable coz its fake  Cheesy
The site is unfair, though. The constant changing of server seeds means that despite getting nonces and a hashed seed every time, you cannot be sure of anything when it comes to the legitimacy of your bet. You do not know if the wager that you placed was in a fair state or not and under those circumstances, it may as well be a lost bet.

I don't know what to say about the discrepancy in the screenshot, but I do know that Wixiplay should be avoided despite any skepticism with the picture.

Cool
FTFY. You were missing the vital BADecker sign-off emote!
943  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Face Mask Placebo on: July 18, 2020, 05:26:12 PM
It's a little more complicated than that. If a person wears a mask on the street, he may have serious enough consequences such as pulmonary emphysema, bronchial asthma and a huge number of bacterial, allergic or fungal diseases.
Are the people at risk of developing these symptoms at risk of developing severe symptoms when they are contracting covid-19 by going out in the streets?
944  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Online gambling sites are rigged on: July 18, 2020, 05:22:58 PM
i lost maybe 25 times in a row when i had a 75% percent of winning! i only bet 5 times when i hit the massive loss streak right from the get go. If you look at the math there's only a 1% chance or so of this happening, clearly they saw I was rolling high percent win and they just made me lose. NEVER PLAY ON THESE "FAIR" SITES! SCAMMERS!
The gambling sites are not scams but actually the gambling is a risky game. As told number of times before you should only play gambling with the extra money or the money which you can afford to lose. If you can't afford to lose the money and still lose in gambling, then we see such a reaction form many people here.
You can see this happen constantly with problem gamblers. Rather than admit that they made a brash and poor decision, the addiction is softened with a simple rationalization against the casino: "they were scamming me" or "the games are rigged" come up so often that you would have expected this to be a slogan for gamblers somewhere.

The simple fact of the matter is: if you are gambling, expect the worst. People who do not embrace the possibility of a loss are at risk of facing a much more significant and intensified dejected state than if they were to consider the bankroll they were playing with "burned".
945  Other / Meta / Re: How about restricting low rank people from opening new topics on: July 18, 2020, 05:07:15 PM
Why not first try to search on the topic or issue on which you need help, rather then directly creating the a new thread about it ?
Newbies will probably have some difficulty using the search system, but I do agree that it should be used more often. If we establish a smoother transition to board members onto the use of search over thread creation then perhaps you'll see a better cultural shift. I do think, though, that sometimes the threads that are being made are just spam threads. You do often see those typical generic vague question threads in Bitcoin Discussion, Trading Discussion, Economics, etc.
946  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcasino is a SCAM on: July 18, 2020, 05:03:28 PM
even on that site, once u hit a certain benchkark like u say then it becomes another kyc restricted sites.
Sad reality. It's an unfortunate part of online gambling, especially in the crypto space. What a disappointing part of using a decentralized currency, right? Identity requirements, wow!

there really isnt any justice. in my opinion if all players refused to play on these unfair rules, maybe the casino owners would reconsider their policies to keep people playing on their sites...
That's an economical look. Most people, unfortunately, don't care. They get swindled into the KYC on a few sites and then probably say, "fuck it," and cross the line of entering KYC willy-nilly. I suppose it's rational once you've got your data leaked everywhere the first time, but if it never happened in the first place then the KYC situation would look a lot more differently.

The whole intent of the regulation is trite, too: most people who they are targeting simply have countermeasures.
947  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wixiplay is an unadulterated scam on: July 18, 2020, 04:56:38 PM
https://www.casinonewsdaily.com/2020/03/12/wixiplay-provably-unfair-gambling-practices-at-anonymous-online-casino/ and plenty of other sites have proven some casinos can manipulate "randomness". However, this takes unfair to a whole new level.
It's looking extremely similar to the case of 999Dice, if you are at all familiar with that (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=948965.0). I will do some investigating on the site itself and see if I can catch any seed discrepancies. Shouldn't take long if they're doing it this often.
948  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Online gambling sites are rigged on: July 18, 2020, 04:51:20 PM
Probability might not always be in your favor. 25 is not a sample to consider. But, sites that require registration, may track your bet behavior and generate seed accordingly, though it might be boomerang as well.
If we have a server seed/client seed + nonce system then there is no way that a website can always have the upper hand, as long as you decide to do your due diligence and change up your seeds at least once.

The nonce part of it cements that: stops them from changing server seeds on the fly and modifying the results to best favor the casino.
949  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wixiplay is an unadulterated scam on: July 18, 2020, 04:48:05 PM
It looks like they have a provably fair section. Can you get some of those bets, their details, and put it through a check? This skepticism is because recently, a lot of "loss streak" threads have started popping up and we want to make sure that you are making a genuine scam accusation rather than a typical gambling loss ragepost.

Surely this is not the case, right?

This appears to be the code for dice:

Code:
$client_seed = "your_client_seed";
$server_seed = "your_server_seed";

$result_seed = hash_hmac('sha512', $server_seed, $client_seed);
$result_number = hexdec(substr($result_seed,0,10));
$lucky_number = $result_number % 10001;

echo $lucky_number;
950  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Online gambling sites are rigged on: July 18, 2020, 03:49:10 PM
are you saying that the players can't get lucky and win? on multiple occasions i leave the casino with hundred and sometimes thousands in winnings. you can easily win despite house edge.
The eventuality of statistics, by which I mean the "end" of an infinite series of results generated with the house edge in mind. You will eventually bust, assuming that you do not gain the entirety of the casino's bankroll before the casino gets yours. It's a zero-sum game, and you're losing every time you play. Imagine you play a single game with a fair 50-50 coin flip. If you win, you get 2x. If you lose, you get 0x. If you played your entire bankroll, you will have a 50% chance of losing it. Now, if we stretch these bets over an infinite number of times and if we decrease the bet sizes, we still may inevitably encounter a series of losses that decreases our bankroll to zero. If we then incorporate house edge, this only becomes a statistical inevitability.

Fortunately someone has marked it on the ground that the account has been compromised or changed hand even though I did not find that the OP has changed the password and email which has been a strong reason for proof of account sales.
I don't recall how long BPIP has been storing seclog data but there may be a possibility that it didn't catch a password/email switch. I would say, though, that the huge gap between posts and the switch in logic is a massive red flag. Unless you're an amnesiac, would you say that you were a new user twice?
952  Economy / Reputation / Re: SOFICO - Unprofessional & Unresponsible Management on: July 18, 2020, 03:28:46 PM
Well, this thread just give a warning about how lethargic they are and doesn't even bother checking who applies with them. More like they only care on the quantity of people that will promote them or their managed project/s.
"No advertisement is bad advertisement" - you're simply not seeing the market that this is appealing to. The demographic would simply be the type of people who purely care about quantity over quality: scammers. Well, they truly are a match made in heaven! Shitcoins promoted by shit managers with shitty bounty hunters? A trifecta of scam!
953  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcasino is a SCAM on: July 18, 2020, 03:24:40 PM
why were u able to use primedice without verifying using kyc?

contradiction no? how can both these be true
I didn't hit the threshold, I guess. Some sites probably use KYC to ensure that a user is not exploiting anything in the case of a massive return. Maybe I didn't hit a high-enough multiplier on deposit, maybe it's because of net losses/wins not tipping some scale, and maybe it's because my account was active on the site for a long time. I'm not sure about the technicalities of KYC, which is the problem that I have with most casinos: a lack of transparency.
954  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Non-risky investments on: July 18, 2020, 03:21:43 PM
Compare how much risk you are willing to take and you can move from bank deposits to stock/commodities to derivatives and finally gambling on a rough low risk to high risk scale.
Gonna toss my hat into the bin regarding Bitcoin as an investment: remember that Bitcoin is not your typical investment. It's a technological advancement in money: your finances can look at Bitcoin not as a "stock" but as a new form of asset. Another currency.

Do be aware that the same key fundamentals that make Bitcoin extremely volatile but also worth examining may not be the same for alternative cryptocurrencies that you encounter across the crypto space. "Low market cap and technologically advanced" does not necessarily translate to massive returns. Sometimes, there is a catch, so be sure to research things deeply.
955  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn Bitcoin from this forum?? on: July 18, 2020, 03:16:53 PM
So you are coming here just to use the forum to make money? You have a long way to go, you must first understand how the blockchain technology works because this forum is based on this knowledge, you will just become a spammer if you just explore the forum to make money
It is undoubtedly a farmed account: your prediction about OP becoming a spammer has probably already come to fruition. Either the account was sold or it was hacked, which means that the account-holder on the other side is definitely doing it for financial gain and not because they want to contribute to the forum.

What a shame. Sad
956  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn Bitcoin from this forum?? on: July 18, 2020, 03:07:56 PM
Has this account suddenly changed hands? I mean, your posting history denotes the opposite:
Walked straight into typical "generic posting" trap. I expect the user to completely ignore your post and then subsequently create a couple generic topics in Bitcoin Discussion, Economics, or Trading Discussion, probably about "how to make money trading?" with plenty of the buy-low-sell-high padded-to-fuck answers.

It's a shame that the account changed owners. Hopefully, though, the original wasn't a contributor to the account sale market - impersonation only causes more discord in the crypto space.
957  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcasino is a SCAM on: July 18, 2020, 03:03:08 PM
please sir provide me with some sites that does not required kyc...
The problem isn't really with finding the sites without KYC that you will inevitably encounter in your cryptocurrency use. Rather, the issue is that most of those sites are worse than certain well-known, unregulated sites, because of their novelty and their very easy exit scam potential. I took a look at Primedice, which I originally thought didn't require KYC, but as it turns out, their ToS includes that. I never had to do any, though, even though I've gone up to multiple thousands of dollars of volume on the site. If that's your forte, maybe.

I still recommend looking for the sites yourself, though. You know what you like better than I do, and I hope you'll stop complaining about KYC once you do start reading. Smiley
958  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Online gambling sites are rigged on: July 18, 2020, 02:54:27 PM
All day long i used to listen gamblers complaining how some slot machine is rigged, that they never get any money back and then at the end of the month when I checked, RTP was always above 90%.
Even if the RTP was infinitesimally close to 100%, the reason that a gambler loses is because their wagered amount continues to increase against games with house edges. Degenerate gambling consists of playing until they bust, and then making up some rationalization to justify their constant play. Eh.

Can't beat the eventuality of statistics, regardless of your variance. Smiley

(well, maybe you can get lucky enough in your life to beat the casino, but you would be in the minority)
959  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [BET] Trump or not Trump 2020, eddie13 vs suchmoon on: July 17, 2020, 10:24:57 PM
It sucks not being able to believe anything from anywhere.. Who exactly are we/I supposed to trust in these times?
No one: not even yourself. The skeptic's journey is a difficult one, and he has to reject the illustrious appeal of nihilistic degeneracy. Read from everyone, then judge as objectively as possible with the inherent and implicit biases that we subject our thoughts to.
960  Economy / Lending / Re: looking for a 0.2 BTC loan on: July 17, 2020, 09:46:39 PM
You think that I'm rude because I argue the bs that you say, to justify that you are here asking for free money? Cheesy
Wait a bit longer (witch I dought that you will) and you will get more. And yes, I was a noob like all the others but I didn't ask for a loan in my 1st post...

Last time reminder: Offer valid collateral or lock your thread. Cool
Effectively, you're given "identity" as collateral. As if we didn't know that documents could have been easily-bought, just like LocalBitcoins accounts. And oh, hey! It only took me about 15 seconds to find an LBC account being sold on this very forum: Localbitcoin Verified Personal Account from July 7th.
What a pity that we can't trust people. I wonder if it's because the true identity of the user could be literally anyone... Roll Eyes
