What's the easiest way to do this?
I'm using Turbo Tax and I have my Mtgox transaction history up to 2013.
I don't want to type out 1000 lines of transactions. Anyone have a good solution to this? I have briefly read that Turbotax can import a certain file type after converting an Excel file.
I got the data imported into kryptotax.com but it fails at bitcointax.info. So I have an idea what my 2013 Capital Gains are and will probably pay the taxes based on that and file an extension while I figure this out. But krypotax.com has no print outs.

3 days of long hrs perfect uptrading and taking more coins off the market and mintpal causes me to be set back more than 300 coins by doing everything in their power to slow me down.
GOODBYE MINTPAL!!!
No time for trying fancy things in this market at this time. Best to just sit tight. That's what I'm doing. Just sitting back and enjoying the view. Wishing I bought more.  |

Can we please make prominent these two key strengths of Blackcoin on the OP?
- 100% proof of stake means no wasteful proof of work mining (bitcoin miners cost over $15 million dollars of electricty every day to run. If Blackcoin was worth the same, it would be a fraction of that).
- 10 second transaction times. A lot of people seem to think it's 60 seconds because that was what it was when the coin was proof of work, but now we are proof of stake
I see topics asking what are the strengths of Blackcoin and I rarely see those above mentioned, when they are pretty key.
NXT is a POS coin that has had these advantages for months, plus much, much more. Please come join us at http://nxtforum.org. Go away, we'd rather stay with the bitcoin toppler... NXT is based on 100% brand new source code + a completely different protocol. It has promise but it needs to stand the test of time - for years like Bitcoin did before it can be held in great confidence. Forks of Bitcoin whilst differing slightly don't have anywhere near as much potential for security issues. You forgot to mention 1 NXT transaction fee which is why I point no money into that altcoin. |

Sorry. I sold it all at 1000.  I misread this and thought PoW was only 1 year. But it's actually 7 years. 500 million minimum to 5 billion is to hard for me to put a value on this altcoin. Good luck everyone! |

This is offtopic: But did anyone here invest in FlutterCoin? I just bought some and curious if anyone was taking the same route as me? Putting a little something in all the hot PoS Coins with high value on MintPal is my strategy. I was minig at beginig solt at 500-400 and buyed back at 250.  what i sold i have invested in BC . BTW FLT have few source of new coins POW/POS/POT so... is not pure POS it won't be like BC. With this coin big problem is that it can have 1x-10x total amout of coins so i very hard to predict when it can go. With BC i don't have such problem 1$ for BC is still pretty cheap IMO. If someone bought that coin for 500 sat it can be big jump but seriously BC under 1$-100$ is undervalued IMO. and many those guys who wanted cash out they did it  to high volume around. I like how other coins want to be next BC train ^^ same Doge,LTC,VTC,BTC train ext... unfortunately it is not so easy without premine sucess without premine = strong supportive community. Holy Cow. I totally misread this. I saw that 100 volume on MintPal and figured "Oh Sweet. Another PoS Coin" I thought PoW ended in 1 year and afterwards it would be PoS/PoT. But apparently this has explosive inflation. Somehow I triggered an ATH 1300 for this coin. lol |

Legendarycoin? Give me a brief overview. I don't buy until it's on MintPal. Also looks like 50% annual stake? So LGD could potentially increase 50% every year if no one ever trades? I bought and hooolldding! i remember your first post in this thread from a few hours ago was cautiously optimistic. now look at you, full blown flutter fan! Longer I take to figure things out. The higher the price goes up. Buy now. Research later. Great investment advice. |

Don't worry. The next benefit ceased, don't be greedy. Before there was a massive dump of 168 BTC from our ATH and we shot back up halfway. What's our highest transaction volume so far? 43xx??? |

pow halves next saturday from 5000 to 2500, then halves every week after that.
PoS is minimum 30 maximum 90 days. 5% i think. there was an error in the way the pos worked, it's supposed to work with this new update on the 19th. the error was the pos had a cap of 10 coins. not sure if we will still get the coins, kidcoin's explanation was confusing. but that's just an issue for those of us that have had the coin 30 days, it won't be an issue for new people
That person with 42 million coins isn't an exchange. It's someone who bought them all up on MintPal. You can tell by the transaction volume. He's hoping it will be the next BC or FAC. Edit: looks like I'm incorrect. I was looking at the wrong chart. |

That's the bter.com exchange. The second address is mintpal Got it. I was thinking that too after posting it. I still need info on PoS & PoT. I checked out that PDF but couldn't find the info. Like how much was added by PoT and PoS. Anyone have a time scale for the PoW? |

Quark was hailed as very secure encryption and was praised widely for some reason especially. I heard it mentioned a few times on the news, like a normal news program on major tv which is quite an achievement. Now that'd be hard as btc is only news in that its gone down, would be hard to hype unless its something new somehow Yea I believe everything up to PoS Coins were minor improvements. Blackcoin and Mintcoin were the first altcoins I bought after seeing BTC go nowhere the last few months. And now I'm all out of Mint. |
