981  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Why some newbies dey quick lose interest for the forum?? on: January 02, 2024, 04:07:09 PM
The reason dey very simple,  na him be lack of proper mentorship because of anyone established member wan carry person come on board,  the first and most important advice na make the person develop a thick skin,  to be able to absorb all negative energy and still work hard to achieve their aims here in the forum,  and this is very important for a newbie.

But because some newbies found this forum on their own the missed such orientation will not be able to absorb any possible attacks from the forum and another online marketplace.
982  Economy / Gambling / Re: Trustdice: Terrible sportsbook, 5x! wager to withdraw on: January 02, 2024, 01:05:28 PM
I have taken no bonus, nor won anything. I just noticed after i deposited that the sportsbook is insanely slow and unresponsive, its just a huge hassle to deal with. Therefore i want to just withdraw my money and never use that site again.

Please show me 1 man that reads the full TOS of any website. You expect the casinos to have quite similar TOS, as you would do for rules in real casinos. But here they will hold your money longer than anyone else.

If you didn't read the sites tos than you cannot complain when it wasn't what you expected. The terms are there for your convenience so that you know what the site expects from you and what you can expect from a site. I agree that 99.9% of users do not read a site's tos, but that's not the site's fault.

The inability of some gamblers to read the tos of the casino have resulted into a lot of problems and as long as the casino already have a rule stipulated in the tos wether or not the player read them it doesn't concern the casino since their already design their template to operate within the stipulated rules and regulation.

So it is left for the player to read the tos for their benefit and good to know how best to get through with the casino,  and that is why it is called rule anyways it is meant to guide your activities on the casino is either you accept them or walk away.
983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun, is it a lie that we tell ourselves? on: January 02, 2024, 08:50:37 AM
Gambling is fun for the people who can fund their habit on playing any games they want without worrying for their essential needs later when they lose their budget money for playing. But it's a different stories for those who get addicted and play as there is no tomorrow for them because it always ends up in regret once they have no longer the means to play anymore and at the same time to buy their essential needs in their life.
Exactly those who can fund their habits are those who should and will take gambling as a fun-seeking entertainment,  but those who have nothing to persistently spend on gambling escapees won't take gambling for fun since they will have to make the winning that will keep them playing the games,  and the knowledge of that keep them in constant pursuit for winnings regardless of the fun or not, this is the set of people that could become addicted in the later part of the chase for winning,  so with that,  you see how difficult it becomes for those without adequate funding to gamble on a fan base.
984  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: January 02, 2024, 08:30:21 AM
Well, I am not going to quote my last post, but I actually posted that I am hoping Stake will not sign any huge contracts with celebrities and Sport teams and now Stake announced their title partnership for the Formula One. 🙄

It is not as if I am not happy with Stake marketing their site, but I think there are way too much money that are spend on that. Can you imagine all the money spend on sponsoring Soccer/UFC/Drake/Formula 1 and all those paid streamers?

I would have ditched the Soccer team after their contract expired... they are bottom feeders and always close to relegation.  Roll Eyes
For a business that wants to remain at the top,  considering discontinuity of any of their promotion on the basis of bone performance most especially the club sponsorship won't be a good idea,  unless if it becomes obvious that the club may stay down for long,  same goes to streamers and other advertising,  but then also have a reflection on the overall performance of the marketing and restarting will be a good option instead absolute discontinuing of that promotion,  stake team have indeed spent a lot of money on their promotion and that is why there have remained on top among other gambling sites most especially online gambling sites,  having a figure such as a drake as promoter and streamer alone is huge enough to draw heavy traffic to the site,  so even if the other aspect of their making such as team sponsorship fails it won't border them so much and for that, there will easily look away from the possible relegation of the club and look forward to them recovering again.

Since 2017 stake has been active in their promotions,  expansion and development and at this point,  they have built a reputation that few casinos can compete with in the market today and so for that spending a huge amount to keep that image on won't be something that stake will consider twice before approving the funds for it promotions to at least keep up with the trend and market demand and competitions.
985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health concern on: January 01, 2024, 04:16:51 PM
I am anxious to know what amount he won exactly to have been that much to trigger up a heart crisis to the friend and if you ask I will guess that the amount must have really been that big to have taken him by surprise to the point of hitting him down in such manner.

Secondly, gambling has nothing to do with my health since I gamble just for fun and I also stake an amount I can afford to lose or win and be able to containits outcome in the end,  so for me gambling is it outcome that does not affect my health.
986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Possible measures to stop online gambling addiction. on: January 01, 2024, 03:54:43 PM
Once a someone has developed an addiction to online gaming, I don't think quitting will be simple. One issue about gambling is that it might be hard to break the habit if it's ingrained in you or if it makes you feel addicted. That's how you play without getting anything out of it, even if you're still losing. However, some people think they will always win a bet, regardless of the circumstances. A person who enjoys gambling shouldn't compare himself to those legendaries because it has been a while since they were in it and they also have sufficient understanding about it.
The worst impact of addictions is that,  you will not gain anything out of it at the end of the day, and that feelings make them become worse after all,  I am against uncontrollable addictions and this level is the disaster level because, at this stage of addiction, a the gamblers can do anything just to take a shout one more time,  this makes him to go into debt or even selling personal belonging just to gamble at all cost,  this makes it a worst case at all time.

So best to never even go close to possible addiction tendencies,  because pulling back from it is almost always impossible at some point.

988  Economy / Speculation / Re: 112 days waiting for bitcoin halving!! on: January 01, 2024, 03:22:07 PM
Looks like 1 long year has passed, and we said goodbye to 2023 and entered the new year 2024. We are only waiting for 2024 for Bitcoin because this year is going to be one of the best year for Bitcoin. Where the block reward of Bitcoin will decrease from BTC6.25 to BTC3.125 and at that time we will see more demand for Bitcoin, and expect a gradual change in the Bitcoin market.
As Bitcoin halving is only 112 days away, we are looking forward to that time. All bitcoin investors only wait for bitcoin bull season. And the bull season usually starts after the halving as we know it, so I think there is a golden opportunity right now to just hodl Bitcoin.
All bitcoiners get ready to hodl your BTC success is waiting for you ahead.
Some times it sound to me that we are over emphasizing on the next Bitcoin halving and failing to discuss some of the important factors that may affects the actual realization and impact of the Bitcoin halving on the price of Bitcoin,  we have to prepare ourselves towards a time where Bitcoin bull market may result into higher fees and network connections,  that has been the normal practice with Bitcoin price movement in history and even in recent time and if that network congestion continues,  is going to affect the general impact of the bitcoin price records since Bitcoin investors are going to be paying higher fees to send and receive bitcoin.

But if the network problems are being put into place before that time,  bitcoin investors are going to have a really good time as this halving has been one of the most anticipated by Bitcoin investors and users,  as a community.
989  Economy / Gambling / Re: tell me the best online casino on: January 01, 2024, 03:11:43 PM
What makes up for the best online casino differs from person to person and from casinos to casinos and for anyone to be able to give you a near accurate advice or suggestions on that,  it must come from the in-debt ability and sustainability of the gambler to be able to gamble all through the year that casino and without recording any problem along the line.

So for that one will have to state how long he used such preferred casino and the number of times he bets won and withdrew successfully from that casino,  all this needs to be checked to avoid any possibility of leaving out some important factors that make up for a good casino.
990  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The danger of blaming everything on politics on: January 01, 2024, 02:39:32 PM
My brother this matter you bring so touch me well well,  because the way some people dey blame everything on government come make the whole society confused and e come to be like say people now the blame they own personal failure on government and this kind mentality so,  e dey affect us bad bad and if we no change ammm,  e go be like say we go fine ammm hard to be on the right part.

991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the perception of people about gamblers in your neighborhood? on: January 01, 2024, 02:25:32 PM
I don't know if this is only happening in my area or is a general trend, hence the reason I created this post. Let's know what people think about gamblers and how well the gambling business is faring in your area.

It does not happen in my area and I'm sure it will never happen at least in the next few decades because gambling is still considered as illegal activity.
Maybe it will happen when the world become more modern than now and gambling is considered as legal all over the world but of course I will never see it happen Smiley
What people think about gamblers in my area remain the same, most people will think negatively about us (gamblers) especially now when there are so many online casinos where anyone can play even they are still under 18.
Gambling business will not be able to survive in my country due to the strict laws against it.
Physical registered gambling may remain affected due to strict regulations and this has a lot to do with how the gambler takes the whole thing,  because even if there are no physical casinos due to restrictions,  what about the online casinos,  what have the restrictions to do with online casinos and their access into the public space.

One of the ways that some governments of countries have failed is in their inability to sustain their restrictions both in the physical and the online space and that has affected them a lot and the reason why we have so many cases of abuse in the gambling market such as underage gambling and the rest of them.
992  Economy / Gambling / Re: Responsible gambling on: January 01, 2024, 02:17:49 PM
it will be very good for a person to successful learn from others experience, like of people who became addicted to gambling and sold their houses, properties, etc.
and now they are in huge debt, and their advice is do not gamble ever. but do we follow it? we still gamble and most of the time we go broke and our account gets to 0 because we don't gamble responsibly.
I know their bad experiences but still play. maybe their will be one mistake which will turn me into gambling irresponsibly. it's good for people who learn from others experiences.
Some things are useful for someone who learns from other people's experiences because he will see roughly what he could do if he were in his position. And what should they do so that they don't have to experience the same thing as him so that he can avoid it and be careful in gambling? Most people will lose their caution in gambling when they win or lose, and they will start to lose their sense of responsibility towards themselves so that they will lose their money little by little. We all have bad experiences, which is a mistake we must avoid. We are still learning more about responsibility in gambling to avoid other mistakes.

I like the idea, learning from other's experiences will allow you to prevent doing the same thing, it serves as a good basis when dealing with your gambling activities, if you have that good control over your gambling activities you will be able to secure your position, you will not overspent your money and you will take some rest when you are seeing yourself losing, that's the good side of knowing those bad experiences by others, you don't want to suffer the same fate so you will find way to control yourself.
But first, there is no experience that is greater than your own experience,  this is because sometimes when you want to take precedence over other people's experience,  you may not learn the actual lessons,  but when you learn from your own mistakes,  you tend to learn alot of lessons,  this is why we have to seat black and reflect on the actual things that make up for our whole experience since at some point,  there is nothing greater than our experience and we have to hold on to that experience at all time.

To be a responsible gambler,  there are lot to be done and sometimes this has to do with practical experience and involvement because when it comes to gambling there is nothing like third-party lessons since your gambling partner may be different from your mind.
993  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slot Educational on: January 01, 2024, 02:07:17 PM

Gambling is all about our decision, we can decide to gamble and we can decide not to, it's all about what we want and when we want it, this I believe is not so hard.
But then, if we ever get to a stage where we actually don't want to gamble but we still can't hold ourself back from doing it, then it simply mean we have become addicted to gambling, if actually there is no other trustable way to find out when and if we are addicted to gambling, then being unable to stop oneself from gambling even when in their mind, they really don't feel like doing it, then, that is a good way for such a person to know that he or she have become addicted to gambling, or he or she is getting addicted to little by little.

So, for a gambler monitoring him or herself in other not to get addicted to gambling, the above is one of the symptoms to look out for, and when such is noticed, it's time for the gambler to draw him or herself back by reducing their gambling activities.
I agree with you on that,  our inability to control the desire to gamble more is the core addictions that we are talking about,  some time it good to check yourself and see if you are actually gambling right because once there is the inability to control your gambling excesses it becomes bad for the whole community since gambling addictions and it impacts rob on all and not just one person.  That is why is better to have an established pattern of play while gambling so as not over-dependent on it to the point that it could become an addiction.
994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling and religious restrictions on: January 01, 2024, 01:43:56 PM
So what do you think about this? Does gambling with crypto mean that laws about gambling being Haram don't apply all the time?
I was thinking that of crypto is earned outside of one's regular job, for example as a reward for activities such as bounties or sweepstakes, then maybe gambling with these earnings insta Haram?

You either are Muslim and accept this or you're not and openly say that you prefer a different religion. This reminds me of that video where a guy slips and eats a meal falls into his mouth during Ramadan and the guy casually asks if he should continue fasting. There are no half-measures here, you either accept the rules or you don't.
Another thing that makes me laugh is women who say they're still virgins because they were once with a man but it was long ago and a mistake, so this is like they're starting their life once again.
I'm not Muslim, but I'd be honest with myself and other people and if I wanted to gamble when my religion doesn't allow it I'd choose one of them.
In my country, we have Muslims and other religions that gamble and for sure the thing depends on individual differences because what you do as a religious practice is still by individual acceptance of them,  and if you choose to gamble,  your religion can't restrict you because religion is made for man,  and not man-made for religion,  so for that, every religion,  cultural or ethnicity believes are still subject to the individual's acceptance.

And the wider it gains acceptance the more the law gains legitimacy among the people,  so for sure if some segment of religion restricts public gambling,  then the citizens should avoid it or violate the law and be ready to evade being punished by the law if caught.
995  Economy / Gambling / Re: Finding a Bug on: January 01, 2024, 01:36:33 PM
If they do not offer a bounty, will you still report the bug is the question? Most sites will offer a bounty but like others said, it depends on the bug.

I would report the bug either way.
Yeah much better to report the bug at the point of detection regardless if the casino offers a bug bounty or not,  I think it is the responsibility of the gamblers to report bugs this is for the betterment of boplayers'r's winning safety and also the casino who may lose money through bugs abuse by gamblers.

We had a situation that resulted from bug abuse in one local gambling site in my country,  the reports from the players state that the gambling site refused to pay them their winning and they decided to come on social media to call them out,  but in responding to that,  the casino statement says that the bets were won via bugs abuse and now the becomes who to pay,  is it the casino due to inability to tackle bugs,  or the player who abuse such bugs.

It is over 4 months
I see your site want to steal my funds
Give more clarification to your case so that other members of the forum will understand what is happening between you and the casino,  because sharing your email on a public forum is not advisable and best you send them to the Yesbet support directly on the site and then post other evidence here if you want the admin to help you out with your case.

Btw i would like to see the outcome of this case and if it has been up to 4 monthssincet you requested an email verification because this casino has had some good time here in the forum and I believe it shouldn't take that long to verify a player email unless where and when there is a problem.
997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 01, 2024, 01:02:22 PM
Arsenal has failed to win two of their last Premier League matches which has made them drop to the fourth position in the Premier League table this season. Liverpool is topping Aston Villa with a point difference but Liverpool has an outstanding game. If Liverpool wins the outstanding game they will top with 3 points difference over Aston Villa. Liverpool might find it difficult to win matches because they will be without Salah who will be going for the African Cup Nation.
Newcastle United is a pretty tough opponent for Liverpool, but that doesn't mean Liverpool isn't tough enough when competing at home in today's match. Because even without Salah, Liverpool still has to be considered as a strong team this season because so far Liverpool's strength is still visible, so it is not worth underestimating Liverpool just because one of their mainstay players is going to the Africa Cup of Nations. Today's match for Liverpool will probably be much more interesting because Liverpool really need to distance themselves from Aston Villa who are currently starting to continue to show their fangs and skills in every match.
Well let see how the game goes tonight since both clubs are at their top performing level in that season,  and Liverpool has the most upper hand to win the match for sure, A lot depends on what the early minutes of the match will be,  so unfortunate that I will miss to watch that match since that 21:00 in close to midnight and I will be tired from some activities already.

But if I am to stake,  I will go for Liverpool to win the match since Newcastle United may not be able to match up with Liverpool's performance in this season and as long as it stances Liverpool is in a better position than Newcastle united.
998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: January 01, 2024, 12:51:24 PM
A gambling expert brought i and some friends a guaranteed predicted game and asked us to stake a a high amount so that we winning could be huge and so we can give him a percentage of the money at winning.

I don't believe there could be a 100% guaranteed game but yet my friends who are eager to make profits in the gambling accepted to play the gamed as instructed and at the end of it, they all loosed the game and at then, the rest of us were happy because we didn't play the game else we would had loosed as others.

I want to ask, do you believe in experts' gambling predictions?

You have to agree with the fact that,  there is nothing like sure predictions as long as the games are not ringed this is what makes for the fundamental understanding of the truth so for sure if anyone shares with you some odds selections claiming there are sure games then you should know that you are indirectly heading for a big lose along the line.

And for that I will advise you to only stake a small amount that you can afford to lose on those games,  just know that there is no guarantee in those games and at some point, you may possibly lose or win just by luck.
999  Economy / Gambling / Re: Finding a Bug on: December 31, 2023, 10:56:04 PM

maybe ask first if they pay users who find bugs. asking for the fee before revealing the bug i think will make sense, just make sure the bug is critical and can affect the profit of the casino.

it's hard to do this however because for you to be able to know it's a critical bug you have to exploit it as well. and then if they find out you exploited to gain then you will not be paid. this is a dilemma.  Cheesy
Most of the casino already have a fixed amount when they announce a bug bounty and some time it fixed and if the gambler who found the bug is verified not to have exploited the bug before reporting the bug and also,  casinos pay well for bug bounty since it helps them to save losing huge from such bug.

So it settled deal and the casino stands to benefit more from this than the gambler himself, The majority of the bbugsa left unnoticed for a while and that has led to the collapse of many casino platforms.

So to avoid such incidents, casinos will pay a good amount to make sure they operate without bugs availabilities.
1000  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fear of December dump is fading away - for Bitcoin on: December 31, 2023, 10:44:37 PM
The wave is almost over and a lot of those who went on vacation will be preparing they return right about now and since the new year is just a few days away many of the market actions have already taken place and most of the time it is crises are mostly pre Christmas and since there is already a wave in that direction where bitcoin is already not shown any sign of market pressure that could force a sell-off and rather the price of Bitcoin have rebrand a lot and for that, we tend to see them making ways to see more uptrend bitcoin market rather than the expected decline.
I do agree that whatever happens happened and from here on out it is going to be a restart all over again. I still think that waiting for the new year is the more important part, and I believe that the best thing we could do right now would be to make sure that we are going to end up with a big increase in the price, but aside from that we should be considering that as normal. I know that it will get to a price that will be much higher than this, many think that we will do fine but I believe that we are going to do better than that.

If I see the price reach to anything above 50k that would be what I would expect, but if it could break over the ATH during 2024, that would actually not be a big surprise to me either, I could expect something like that.
When it comes to bitcoin price speculation,  a lot of positive energy has entered investors in recent times because of the recent price increase and how bitcoin can recover from its previous down price and that was a great time to buy more since it was a good discounted price so for sure a lot of those who understood the advantage of such discounted in bitcoin to stock up more holdings.

At the moment,  there has been a good recovery for Bitcoin,  and those who already used the last chances to buy the dip are already in good profits, and if they continue holding,  in the year 2024 will be more profiting and with the level of activities like Bitcoin halving which will be a major properly force to the next ATH.
