1  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin surged amid Fed Cuts on: Today at 03:02:48 PM
We’ve retraced nearly the whole move now, back to where we started. Stocks continue to rise but Bitcoin is being suppressed it seems. Hopefully the shackles come off & we go up soon but it’s all very weak at the moment.
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why people fail in skills/ business on: Today at 02:41:38 PM
Most people fail at learning new skills or starting a business because they give up too fast. It feels hard in the beginning & they want quick results but don’t get them. They also don’t plan well so when things go wrong they quit instead of fixing the problem. Basically they don’t stay patient or consistent long enough to see success.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as an asset; subject to tax! on: September 18, 2025, 07:25:53 PM
Bitcoin is a taxable asset in most countries. It gets taxed via capital gains tax in lots of jurisdictions. It’s free from tax in fairly few countries sadly. Governments want their slice of the cake from anything that’s profitable sadly. You can move to a tax free country though if the jurisdiction you’re in has unfavourable tax laws.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: $150 Billion Shell Helping to adopt Bitcoin in Africa on: September 18, 2025, 07:07:27 PM
Well there is widespread poverty in South Africa so this can only be seen as a good thing. If people are broke & have no access to mainstream banking then something like this can help people massively. I’m unsure how big this effort is by Shell but if it can become a state or even nationwide effort, it could make a big difference to peoples lives. I hope it’s not a BS source.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is CZ Suddenly Shilling $ASTER? on: September 18, 2025, 06:16:31 PM
If CZ ever shills a coin or token then there’s a reason for it & he will be profiting from people buying it. He’s quite a fun guy, he’s hugely successful but he can’t be trusted. Just buy Bitcoin & ignore what puboic figures are telling you to do. CZ doesn’t care about anything apart from his bloated bank balance.
6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Constant in take of water key to healthy living. on: September 18, 2025, 05:49:02 PM
Drinking water regularly is important because it keeps your body working properly. It helps you stay energised, supports digestion, keeps your skin healthy & prevents dehydration. Water also helps carry nutrients through your body & flushes out waste. Without enough water you may feel tired, dizzy or get headaches. Since your body loses water through sweating, breathing & using the bathroom, drinking it every day is the easiest way to stay healthy & feel good.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is investing in an AI girlfriend project backed by Brazzers worth it or not? on: September 17, 2025, 10:52:49 AM
It could be, I personally wouldn’t invest in it but there are a lot of creeps around so I definitely see a gap for it in the market. AI is exploding in popularity & many people are lonely & seek companionship & intimacy. Go for it if you want but don't invest more than you can afford to lose.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and the world economy. (How has crypto contributed to the world economy) on: September 17, 2025, 10:35:20 AM
Bitcoin has given people a new way to move & store money without banks. It opened up chances for people in countries with weak currencies or strict controls to trade globally. It also pushed big companies & governments to think about digital money more seriously. While it’s risky & prices swing a lot Bitcoin helped create jobs, new industries like crypto exchanges & got more people interested in financial technology & alternative investments.
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Charlie Kirk shot dead on: September 17, 2025, 09:13:55 AM
I read yesterday that the shooters Father, who actually turned him in to authorities, rejected the $1.5m reward from the FBI & other donators. He actually requested that the money be given to Kirk’s family. He can’t be blamed for his son’s actions & I have to say, that is a very noble thing to do, he is obviously a good man unlike his son.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Alt-season a good time to HODL BTC? on: September 17, 2025, 08:27:53 AM
It’s always a good time to HODL Bitcoin. If there is a true Altcoin season though, traditionally that is the time to rotate some of your portfolio out of Bitcoin & into Altcoins to maximise profit. You might want the fiat profits or even to rotate back into Bitcoin to increase your holdings. I am not going to advise you what to do though.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you guys approaching profits? on: September 17, 2025, 07:51:34 AM
People can talk about taking profits too early & whilst that can be true, where you can miss out on larger profits, nobody ever became broke taking profits. There’s a danger of missing out on taking profits if you keep waiting for higher. You may end up in a situation where you get complacent in a correction that keeps going down, then you miss out on profits. Trust me I’ve been there.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Freedom Becoming More Expensive? on: September 16, 2025, 12:59:16 PM
Yeah freedom feels like it’s getting more expensive. Not just in money but in effort, rules & trade offs. People pay more taxes, deal with higher costs of living or give up privacy for safety. It’s like every bit of freedom now comes with a price tag & that price keeps going up.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you see Bitcoin overshadowing the relevance of dollar in the future? on: September 16, 2025, 12:37:05 PM
I don’t think Bitcoin will fully replace the dollar but it could become more important over time. The dollar is tied to governments, trade & stability while Bitcoin is more about freedom & tech. Bitcoin might grow as a global alternative or backup but the dollar’s role in everyday finance & international deals is hard to beat. They might end up coexisting with Bitcoin being strong in some areas but not fully overshadowing the dollar in our lifetime.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins give more room for manipuations on: September 16, 2025, 12:24:31 PM
There’s always a chance of getting rug pulled in lesser known Altcoins. Most of them are 70% premined & given to the team or investors. They launch & even if they don’t get rugged straight away, are largely at the mercy of the originally airdropped devs & team. It’s a minefield out there & it’s very easy to get blown up.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether Launching USAT Stablecoin for U.S. Market on: September 16, 2025, 11:55:06 AM
Tether is really growing, they are becoming a financial monster. With clearer regulatory rules in the US recently via The Genius Act, it gives them the platform to thrive. They are already my favourite stablecoin but this just further entrenches them as a major player in financial markets as we enter the digital age. USDC will not be too happy about it but it’s great for everybody else.
16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Having educated and skilled citizens is more important for economic development. on: September 16, 2025, 11:42:28 AM
The problem many governments have is the fault of their own, not the working people. Governments tax people too much & spend too much. High taxes limit growth & I don’t know why they don’t understand that. Committing billions & billions to net zero climate schemes, sending billions to other countries for aid. The job of governments is to look after its own people & most of them fail to do that.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest difference between BITCOIN and ALTCOINS on: September 13, 2025, 11:00:04 AM
Well first we had Litecoin & the likes of Dogecoin as alternatives to Bitcoin but I agree with OP that Ethereum is the asshole that most shitcoins spring from. Solana also, that chain has created lot of trouble like rug pulls & poor attempts at serious crypto. If it was up to me we would have Bitcoin only & maybe USDT to sit in stables during bear markets. It’s annoying how much capital is in shitcoins that could be in Bitcoin but we just have to ignore them & put our focus on Bitcoin.
18  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Please take your health serious on: September 13, 2025, 10:50:15 AM
Looking after your health is advisable because it enhances your quality of life, helps boost energy levels & reduces the risk of chronic diseases. Good health promotes mental well being, improves productivity & helps you to live a longer life enabling you to enjoy every one of life’s experiences to the fullest.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Importance of Cannabis Sativa on: September 13, 2025, 10:44:20 AM
I’m not sure how important it is really for the economy. It brings in revenue from taxes but does it lose revenue for the economy too with weed smokers being lazy, taking sick days. Long term cannabis use can lead to psychosis so there’s a danger there. Overall I’m not sure how important cannabis is to the economy.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market Sentiment on: September 13, 2025, 08:33:57 AM
The next strong move will come from Bitcoin, it nearly always does. I think we are close to a significant surge upwards, making all time highs. We have had a correction & consolidated, it’s nearly time for the final chapter of this bull run, where huge gains will be made.
