BTW, about the mentioned reserves, how do JPN exchanges typically have to put in? like 100% owed? was wondering if it could be enough to cover almost to all losses? in the blog though, they did mention they're gonna get some support from their group companies for refunds -- assuming the translation is correct since machine translations are susceptible to inaccuracies.
2  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: May 31, 2024, 03:04:25 PM
So what's the consensus on LN usage fro crypto casinos? When the network is stable - LN is not necessary, right? so the majority of time...

TBF, even when bitcoin's mempool is congested AF players pretty much just turn to low fee altcoins as they are more familiar with them hence, easier to use as oppose to LN which needs a decent amount of time for the learning curve.

Though I still have a theory that a very few folks could be using LN to gain more privacy since tumbling and mixing are prohibited in most crypto services.
3  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 📝[Discussion topic] Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns📝 on: May 30, 2024, 11:58:05 PM
Zeusmix should be fine IMO as they don't meet the returning almost the same property rule (e.g. BTC to BTC) theymos talked about as a part what makes a mixer.

But I have a feeling the mixer accusation will continue to pop up every now and then because of the brand name lol.
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers are the smart ones, be careful. on: May 30, 2024, 11:11:59 PM
But still I'm glad to see this doesn't have so much transactions like the last one I saw posted on bitcointalk or did the address had a peaked year or something?

If memory serves right, that scammer has accumulated at least six digits in dollars from victims. Crazy how there was a new transaction every couple of seconds. I was trying to find the thread as it may something that some folks may find interesting but I couldn't. If someone remembers, please post lol.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A list of lucky Bitcoin casinos on: May 30, 2024, 10:09:48 PM
Yes. Rig the system just so they rank up the list of luckiest crypto casinos. Aren't they able to change the frequency/winning rate?
I have no idea honestly lmao. Perhaps we can ask this on SirJohnVon's AMA thread.

This UNREAL!! Sportsbet.io pays out $42,000,000 looks to be the winner but how often does this happen in a casino for it should be the basis considered in the list of luckiest casinos. It doesn't necessarily as huge as $42M. It could just be a $1000 jackpot but if it happens regularly like 3-5 times a year, I guess that's one lucky casino already that gamblers consider a TO GO casino.

It can be a pretty good marketing strategy similar to frequent publishing of big wins or live wins but I'm not sure I would be be chasing casinos for such stats as we don't know how much these winners have lost. Plus much more if they can rig the system as you have said.

@OP, there's also https://github.com/SpiralDevelopment/Awesome-Crypto-Trading

About buying 1k euros worth of bitcoin. You could try to key in your country and preferred payment method on https://buybitcoinworldwide.com/ and it'll return matching exchanges. Ideally, you would wanna go with reputable exchanges -- if you're not sure whether or not an exchange is reputable, you may ask us.

In case, you don't wanna go through identity verification, there's https://kycnot.me/?t=exchange&q=&fiat=on you could check out.

I understand its bad people all over the place on eart but is not their accounts getting a bad feedback then?

I would say many scammers would gladly take a bad feedback if they can scam 1K euros or even less plus they could always use throwaway accounts for this. Scam PMs are rampant in most crypto communities so I would also advise you to be cautious from PMs.

For decentralized - https://hodlhodl.com/

Just a small correction if you don't mind. Hodlhodl not decentralized but only non-custodial.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🚨Be careful with Shuffle Crypto Casino. Im Worried about Shuffle Casino Staff. on: May 30, 2024, 07:54:44 PM
It's hard to say when there could be other possibilities where the leak came from like a spyware/malware from your device you're not aware of for instance.

If memory serves right, you have to manually upload each document for identity verification, no? which mean you'd need a copy on your device first. IMO this opens up other parties as well depending on your setup. On top off my head are automated cloud/sync services, fraudulent apps with storage permissions, etc.
8  Economy / Exchanges / Re: kexbui.com on: May 29, 2024, 09:44:57 PM
You are being completely paranoid.
I know someone who is having a problem so I reached out in the hope that those with far more knowledge than me can provide a little help or information.
It is not bad to be paranoid if it will save you from losing your funds, because you distrust new and suspicious services and do not use them, until it is 'proven' that it isn't run by scammers.
I have a feeling this was OP's reply to indirectly promoting accusation posted above their post. 🤔 Sad that OP did not use the quote function so it would be clearer or perhaps they don't know how.

If I'm right, then I hope they understand as we have seen far too many cases of subtle promotion in the forum lol. But I did thought at some point that people may be jumping the gun too soon but then again, I can't blame them.
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: Q01 - What's your favourite casino and what makes this casino best one? :) on: May 29, 2024, 08:57:11 PM
I completely understand what you said... For most people sharing minimal personal information is the number one priority when choosing a casino... I have a similar preference when it comes to crypto where I prefer non-KYC exchanges but nowadays even the last surviving ones like MEXC are starting to have their hands tied...

Yeah, only a matter of time before they introduce a mandatory kyc or have they already? From the looks of it crypto service's standard kyc/aml policies are likely to get stricter over time... sad

Regarding the project I'm working on, we're just at the very beginning and since we lack knowledge and contacts, I'll try to gather as much information as possible here as there are many people here who understand gambling matters much better than we do...

Ohhh, In case you need in-depth answers for some questions, someone from the gambling industry is still doing an AMA, see: AMA: I Operate an Online Casino

It's very informative, I've read the whole thread hahah

I understand that you would like to hear specifically about the project I'm working on but I'm not alone in this and I don't know if others would be thrilled for me to freely share any information... Overall we're not even in the phase of active hard building yet, just a small group of people trying to create something and it's really got me hooked... Thanks a LOT for your interest though!!!  Smiley

No worries, that's perfectly understandable! Hopefully, you'll announce it on bitcointalk once it's ready -- you can make an ANN thread! Best of luck to you and your team.

BTW, multiple posts in a row is not allowed. When multi-quoting, we just combine it in one post.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A list of lucky casinos in crypto on: May 29, 2024, 06:58:26 PM
I'm curious if this kind of data will encourage gamblers to pick the top number one.
And don't you think casinos will allow users to hit the jackpot now and then so they rank up on the list of the luckiest casinos?

Like they will rig the system?

I'm not exactly well versed on how jackpots work behind the scenes esp with reputed providers and casinos but if that's possible --Maybe one way to manipulate it is botting spins/entries so odds would side with them? IDK.-- then it just proves it's not worth chasing through the moon and back.  Because just like you, I also think many casinos will jump in for that extra traction it gives [if this list scenario happens and it becomes popular AF].
11  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Anyone else received a legal court document relating to FTX bankruptcy case? on: May 28, 2024, 11:34:31 PM
I recently received a legal court document concerning the FTX bankruptcy case. This came as a surprise, and I’m wondering if anyone else has received similar notices. Given the high-profile collapse of FTX, it’s crucial for us to stay informed and share experiences.

Appears to be normal from the posts above but try to still triple check it's all their official handles (or for anything you find odd) as FTX victim's personal information has been leaked before hence making them susceptible to phishing attacks. If you're unsure, then might as well ask support.

I would like to also bring to the notice of all about the craziness that's going on with playbetr.com and betcoin.ag these guys would take your hard earned money and just crazily lock you out from your account, just cant stand what they to us and hope we can run as far as we can

I suggest starting another thread for this as it'll be off topic in this thread.
12  Economy / Gambling / Re: Q01 - What's your favourite casino and what makes this casino best one? :) on: May 28, 2024, 11:00:26 PM
The one on my signature! lol

The best selling point for me is there appears to be less friction in kyc/aml policies (not to be confused by no-kyc though) without sacrificing the game library. We do have stuff like gambling daaps which has a flat no-kyc policy but the games are pretty limited thus i think web3 casinos like metawin sits in the middle between the two which is the perfect spot for me. An L3 casino appears to be in the plan as well which I'm curious how would go 🤔 + apparently, sportsbook could work there too.

BTW, if it's okay, what kind of project have you been working on? my best guess would be something informational? lol
13  Economy / Exchanges / Re: NoOnes P2P exchange on: May 28, 2024, 09:29:30 PM
I can't compare it with Paxful because I never used that exchange,

I'm the same but even with the limited information I know, I would say noones is a lot better than paxful as they appear to be less strict 🤔

1. Paxful has a much larger list of restricted countries, see: https://support.paxful.com/support/solutions/articles/150000104143-restricted-locations

2. Mandatory KYC + non competitive limits for ID verification, see: https://support.paxful.com/support/solutions/articles/150000104290-limits-and-verification

In case someone's gonna KYC, might as well make the most out of it. Most exchanges would have higher limits with ID + selfie.
14  Economy / Exchanges / Re: bit-swap.global warning! Scam! on: May 28, 2024, 08:33:10 PM
Thanks for the heads up.

Just the domain name alone rings the alarm bells for me. Serious businesses would've picked a much better name plus ofc, the exchange reeks of no one has heard of it.

I hope you did not lose anything/much?
15  Economy / Gambling / Re: [VIP Transfer AVAILABLE] MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: May 28, 2024, 07:23:58 PM
Has anyone experienced being logged out while in-game? is that normal? though, my account appears to still be fine after.. 🤔
16  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: May 26, 2024, 11:35:57 PM
Just in, there's a lucky gambler hit x10,001 multipliers on Pachinko, personally I have never heard or play on this game, maybe I will try it.

https://twitter.com/rollbitcom/status/1794475183186583612

It's funny because in another casino i play on, people were also talking about how underrated pachinko is lol. But I've always thought the game is pretty popular with older folks as my aunts and uncles like such game in general, maybe it's a generation gap for us lol similar to bingos.

I pretty much tried everything. Only solution was to use a different browser, Firefox and it loaded right away. So it’s not my internet connection.

With chrome I tried everything, clearing cookies, nothing. Then I cleared the cache and same problem. So I gave up and just tried a different browser.

Glad it has worked out for you. Though it was odd I couldn't replicate the problem.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Day streaming as gambler experience on: May 26, 2024, 10:00:16 PM
However, I am seeking your suggestions again on good tips for attracting people through giveaways or contests related to wagering. I am considering running a few more contests, as we already have a daily giveaway for one active viewer in my chat.

You can try signing up using your link plus depositing/wagering an X amount a requirement and then just pair it with any contest for instance, predict your highest multiplier for this week or winning team.

but to be honest as you have just started, I think you need more contest with laxer prerequisites which attracts people easier e.g. raffle for sharers of your stream, etc.

Good luck!!!
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking to buy huge Bitcoin on: May 26, 2024, 04:39:03 PM
Perhaps op's Satoshi text meant signed message to prove they have the coins? lol

I doubt someone here is whale enough to facilitate such trade size and/or is willing to trade such amounts on a forum. Only exchanges with deep liquidity could handle such. Better look into those offered OTCs as well e.g. binance, iirc minimum trade size is less than a million dollars. But be ready to get KYCed from head to toe, ig.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lunatic gamblers who says Airdrop rewards are free funds. on: May 25, 2024, 11:58:26 PM
So do you have any idea on how your friends solve the problem of liquidity?

Coordinated mass shilling lmao

But on a serious note,  it's pretty much a leap of faith for us players as for the most part, it depends on how the casino team plays their card. Yeah, holders can try to shill as much as they want but a bigger entity like the team has so much power IMO. As soon as possible, I think they should work on a CEX -- even a lesser known one would do.

I believe some casinos could def half ass their way on this as well lol. Pretty much why you don't just go beyond your budget at every airdrop in sight lol. Further, I strongly believe we oughta stick to our budgets for the sake of habit building because going over it once could make it easier the second time, then the third time, and the fourth, etc.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Lotto Winner Takes Time To Claim Their Rewards, What's The Point? on: May 25, 2024, 11:03:14 PM
@everyone

I did not post this article right away when I created this discussion and waited for members' opinions some opinions are somewhat similar to what this guy did back in 2010 It is understandable because the jackpot is very huge but will you go to the extent of doing a stake out in the lottery office and wait for three months to get the price, have you not think of the risks.

Based on the article two winners did a stakeout already.

https://www.philstar.com/headlines/2010/12/05/635982/grand-lotto-winner-faces-tough-security-check

BTW, I think this is worthy of getting added in the OP especially as this clears up misunderstanding some had after only reading the first post.

Gotta say, it's smart of him to setup some precautionary measures to secure his well being as I've seen cases of winners getting assaulted before and that's just the tip of the iceberg -- i do believe such cases are more likely as oppose to sudden accidents or coma. Though 3 monthss may be over the top, I understand his sentiment.
