I'm running with the BIOS Modded w/ the following settings:
- 1500 Strap copied to 1625, 1750, 2000 and 2250
I have tried modding the BIOS with the following, but it seems to do nothing since I still only get 11.5Mh/s
- Increased Max Power Limit to 85 in PowerTune (default 62)
- Max GPU Freq. = 1500 Mhz (default 1800)
- Max Memory Freq. = 2200 Mhz (default 2000)
- Power Control Limit = 55 (default 75)
- Decreased Max. Temp in PowerTune to 82ºC (default 85)
- Decreased all the FAN Temps by (-10)
- Set GPU 1300MHZ mV to 65287 (default 65288)

I even cleaned the GPU & Mosfet heatsinks and put new Thermaltake TG-7 grease on (just sayin...)
Bold parts can fry your card if it doesn't have additional power connector...also, since you didn't mention your OC settings, if you didn't OC, thats about right hash you got |

Only the people that don't know that dcri parameter works in single mining mode too  |

After some testing, it seems performance is comparable to Claymore, but
I think UI has lots to be desired. Although I'm a windows person, I find
claymore easier to use, with ability to run as a service been main advantage
(or disadvantage, depending what you prefer) of Pro Miner

Has anyone tried PBEv1.6.3? https://github.com/jaschaknack/PolarisBiosEditorTiming modification (Ubermix 3.1) starts now at 1500 instead of 1750. My MSI rx580 gaming x (sk hynix H5GQ8H24MJ) modded with v1.6.2 does not go any further: ~27.5MH/s ETH, ~700 H/s XMR, ~320 H/s ZEC I can not overclock the ram over 2020Mhz without errors, but it is stable. Would be safe to try straps of v1.6.3 on my card? I doubt, as theres nothing in changelog mentioning different straps, so you would probably get same result |

I so sick of Wattman. Lack of profile support and constant crashing/resetting of parameters. Come on AMD, this is pathetic.
I just discovered OverdriveNTool. I like what I see so far but I need to know if it is safe to uninstall Wattman and rely completely on Overdrive?
Other tools lack one important ability I think...a way to choose between graphics and compute |

GPU1 core 1150 memory micron 2300 strap from 1750  Which card? That memory won't last long if not cooled properly  Gigabyte dual fan. 60W from the wall. I set memory to 2200 because 2300 is to high. Card mining stable but i have errors in hwinfo. Remove cooler, put some real thermal paste on RAM and you won't get errors anymore |

mine are only doing 12.52 to 13.22 sapphire max memory without error 1900
and the worse i have msi 460 with ram at 1750 (even not stable with modified timing, tested them all) 12.2mh
Probably Hynix memory, micron should work higher |

Quick question. What is the use of bios modding the card, if you can set extra launch parameters in Claymore? Don't these override the former?
Its not the same thing...you can change frequency in Claymore, but you can't change TIMINGS |
