3521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Modified GPU BIOS for Mining on: December 11, 2017, 10:22:19 AM
Could you make a modded bios for a MSI RX570 4G GAMING X Elpida memory?
I've got one of those cards, It puts out a few HW errors; I just ignore them and carry on. You might get lucky and have a card with higher tolerances than me. My MSI Armor RX570-4GB runs without any HW errors on an almost identical modded BIOS.

Here's the BIOS I use. -- MSI-GamingX-RX570-4GB_MINING_BIOS_V3

Thanks man i'll try and let you know!
What did you change in the bios?

Core underclock, memory underclock, VRM undervolt, VRM clock boost, 1500 strap copy.

Sounds good i'll try soon!!

So i tryed the bios and first i got 28Mh/s but suddently it starts running unstable and i get 0Mh/s

Can someone help me out please?

You need better strap and/or different OC settings

So how big is devfee with this miner?
3523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How many MH/S will this card do ? (ETHER) on: December 10, 2017, 08:46:40 PM
Between 13.5 and 15.5, depending on memory type and luck
3524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 560 hashrates on: December 10, 2017, 05:50:41 PM
Added monacoin to first post...seems like most rewarding option atm for these cards,
specially if you have slower cards with hynix memory, as you can see here

3526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Trying to turn an old pc into a mining rig. NVIDIA GeForce 210. Need help :( on: December 09, 2017, 01:54:35 PM
Are you guys all trying to say that ethminer and claymore won't work with my card? Or are you just saying it's not profitable?

Again, I don't care about the profit. I just want it to work so I can say I can successfully setup mining. It has nothing to do with profit.

I just need a clear answer on this. . .

Of course you can...my 6 year old daughter did it, its not complicated

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but in my original post I specified the painstaking steps I went through. I literally went through a whole afternoon and night installing/uninstalling/reading wiki.

I installed all those components, but ethminer and claymore were still not working.

Not been sarcastic, I just bought her a proper card...what I wanted to say, you lost enough time that if you instead did something
to earn money instead, you could buy proper card already...didn't even have to spend that much, $100 for used RX560 4GB
that she can play Sims 3 when not mining

https://ripple.com/insights/ripple-escrows-55-billion-xrp-for-supply-predictability/

XRP has emerged as the only digital asset with a clear institutional use case designed to solve a multi-trillion dollar problem – the global payment and liquidity challenges that banks, payment providers and corporates face.

Unlike other digital assets purely driven by unexplained speculation, real institutional customers are already using and finding value in XRP, and governments, regulators and central banks are increasingly recognizing the role it could play in the global system.

By the way, unconfirmed sources say 15 JP Morgan executives were seen at Ripple Headquarters!!!
Rumors about the StateBank of India about buying up massive amounts of XRP....

If you care about XRP, maybe its better to not mention those JPM people

we must anyway consider that those token where not in the market anyway, so it may not have a big impact.

Happy to be wrong anyway  Wink

They were not in the market, but I guess investors looked at them as sword of Damocles Cheesy

Now rules are set up

it doesn't seems to have made a big change on the price, but a think we will see something real good coming out from this in the long term

Probably because most people don't understand what this news mean Smiley

Its all about BTC FOMO these days

Please take a moment to read.... It says right in the first post by the developer that this miner is for AMD video cards only.

3534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: suprnova pool users: is your account locked in the last few days? on: December 07, 2017, 06:39:46 PM

If your account has been locked automatically for security reasons; please make sure that your used mail is not listed here:

https://haveibeenpwned.com

If it is, make sure you have a really secure password, better close the account and use a new address to register on the pool.

You can still unlock your account by solving a captcha by going here:

Cheers,

Suprnova.cc

That doesn't work...do I have to wait a bit, or it should be unlocked immediately?

I agree, don't follow the heard chasing new useless shitcoins. We don't need more coins, stick to the old coins that have proven themselves.
The currency it self is very stable in relation to the price, it still remains at 20-30 centavos. Around and half always comes out in the media some news that she will join or integrate to some service or program, only that in 99% of the times this is but a lie to raise the price of her and with that she never leaves the place, whenever it rises a few cents, it falls again shortly there after giving a false impression of profit. For trade weekly she is good but to hold her is not intrusive.

Who's "her"?
3536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: December 06, 2017, 07:27:03 PM
What I don't understand is pretty big trade volume for all this time, yet price remains stable in USD
terms...why people buy and sell it so much, with no gain
thinking that it will pumped so its hard that's most of the holders think about this project so even its falling with its current btc value but still
the value with dollar still the same and maybe it will stay until further new updates will happen, the dev needs to keep the value a it is so investors
will not dumped it completely.

But come people claim devs are keeping it down actually, not pumping it up

3539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: First Asic for SIA - Obelisk SC1 on: December 06, 2017, 02:53:55 PM

For basic i never use BTC to buy mining equipement oO

When i buy mining equipment is only from new money, i never take from my crypto stack ...

On other way you make a bet, if BTC go down after your buy, you win ... In other way you loose ...

Second you blame someone cause they tell to you buy SIA ASIC, well you are a grown man and you take YOUR DECISION.

DONT BLAME OTHER PEOPLE FOR THIS oO

It wasn't me but Searing Cheesy
3540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: First Asic for SIA - Obelisk SC1 on: December 06, 2017, 11:49:42 AM

Well, the equip deduction is nice...I did mine the crypto to get the 5 obelisk sc-1 miners for a total in USD of $10,140.00 USD.

ON THE OTHER HAND

In 20/20 hindsight it cost me 4.108 BTC. That amount of BTC (at the current price as I type this of) $12,760.44 USD gives

me a total cost of $$57,419.89 at current BTC prices......yeah....mental giant I am! Not a real deal for 5 Obelisks. Had a buddy do the same.

(I shall blame him...he got 5 first...I simply had to follow...it is all his fault!)

And the price of BTC will likely GO UP MORE by the time they ship.... June 2018

Not sure if I should mine them or leave them virgin and put them in a bookcase shrine..never to touch the internet on their rarity!

fun times, damn silly hobby I got into...but hey!!!!

I HAVE $10,140.00 USD I can take off my gross income this year for tax purposes......

sheesh.....

brad

Yes, thats funny...in a long run you'll probably never mine enough SIA to catch up to value of those 4BTC...then again, who knows what the future holds for us...
