Epoch #22? When was that, 2 years ago?
It is EXP.

I made test on ETH especially for you))  on Epoch #132

Interesting...care to share your full command line?
I tried exp too, and can'd do better than around 12.5
on exp or eth (have similar numbers for both), however I can
reach dcr 360 with almost no drop on eth/exp performance
with -dcri 60 in command line

Edit: my mistake assuming everyone uses ETH for speed testing, but
at least I learned something new...EXP actually seems good option
for people with slow rigs mining to exchange wallets with big cap
on ethereum (0.5 on Poloniex, for example)
4142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 560 4GB Ethereum on: July 04, 2017, 05:16:54 PM

35ºC you must live in north pole...
i think rx460 could do similar results. I'm getting 11.8 mh/s out of the box. no oc, no bios.
Somehow You are right Smiley I put my rigs in refrigerator ))
I did unlock, overclock and bios on rx460. I could get only 14.5 mh/s for Solo mining. On dual they are very unstable.
But, RX560 are better in performance and stable.

But i read a R9 270 minning 14 mhs with claymore etherum. how is possible?

http://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/7055/is-14-4-mh-s-normal-for-a-r9-270

You could still do it...if only your card would be 4GB version
4144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: No monero after 1 Month of mining? on: July 04, 2017, 11:43:56 AM
As previously stated, you should mine in a pool.

...or maybe wait just a bit longer to score a hit Smiley

Mine ZEC instead with Claymore ZEC miner.

Mine ZEC? is other miner?

4146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 560 4GB Ethereum on: July 03, 2017, 09:05:59 PM
Why would you mine ZEC with RX560, when there is GTX 1050,  and it puts out around 150 sol OC'ed?

Because he didn't know its slow?

I only tried claymore, which is not optimized for Baffin yet, maybe some other miner performs better, though

Edit: I tried again because meantime I changed BIOS, this is better result, but still nothing
to write home about:

Can anyone try this card with zCash?

Using Claymore 12.5, old 7850/1GB card is twice as fast

So around 300 Sol/s?

around 80

Did you oc the R9? 16.3 work with the rx480, they were recommended by Claymore after release 9.x But for R9 they best are 15.12.
What do you mean by "picking up the rx 480 as a general one"?
Did you DDU the drivers before installing 16.3?

Did anyone tested different drivers for R9 cards? My vanilla unmodded R9 380 mines 20.5MH/s ETH + 330MH/s SIA with latest 17.6.2, but
I'd gladly revert to 15.12 if I'll mine more
Mine does 19.5 ETHC plus 590 DCR  +20 1100 1425 OC

With 15.12 drivers?

How to find what ram have gpu before buy?

I bought 4 from same vendor at once, and got 2 micron and 2 hynix...and no way to find out
as they're phisically the same
4152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gigabyte RX 560 4GB on: July 02, 2017, 11:34:44 AM
SRBpolaris editor seems easiest one to use:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1882656.0

For other RX cards people usually claim Hynix to be the best memory,
but for my cards Micron seems to be a bit better (but maybe it could
be its down to my lack of experience with bios modding, too Smiley )

Do I have to use atikmdag patcher after modifying BIOS? Should I mod my cards before installing AMD drivers?

I think you can use it whenever, but you HAVE to use it for drivers to recognize cards once bios is modded

Hello.

Soon I am going to order six RX560 from Gigabyte. As far as I know hashrate for each of these cards is 10,7 MH/s stock. Are there any custom BIOS available? How to mod this card to get ~13MH/s like the others?

Keep in mind that theres 2 versions of that card...one with Hynix memory
and another one with Micron
4155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.6 (Windows/Linux) on: July 02, 2017, 07:32:58 AM

Boysie, isn't it a shear disappointment 33mhs tops.
When 1080Ti is doing 40MHs with new code optimization?

Its an AMD card...as usual, don't be surprised if it get 50% better result
after few driver iterations
4156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBPolaris V2.65 - BIOS editor for RX4XX and RX5XX cards on: June 29, 2017, 05:31:58 PM
There is also Gigabyte RX 560 card with hynix memory, this is bios for it:

https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/192228/192228

Funny part is, it has strap for 2250, but you can't OC it that high
through Wattman

I wonder which version is better, one with micron, or hynix memory

Hi all,

Just to update on the tuning of the cards running at 15.xx MH/s with GPU at 1000Mhz RAM at 1990Mhz Power limit set to -5 fan speed set to 60% temps are at about 57c at 40watts all using MSI Afterburner.

Sshot or it didn't happen

New version coming soon?

Impatient RX 560 user here (hope that announced RX 460 ASM support
means it will work for RX 560 too)

Check my recent message about it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=306958;sa=showPosts
I ordered another card and will add ASM for it soon, but not in upcoming version which will be available in a few hours.

Pity...good luck with next one  Smiley

I've got some RX 560 cards. If dual mining Ethereum hashrate is about 13.5 Mh/s but sia only 90 MH/s. I don't understand why get so low sia hashrate, because Ethereum is about half of an RX 470 could but sia is only  quater of rx 470 possible hashrate.

Thats pretty solid hashrate, did you modify bios/overclock your cards?

I have another problem, claymore 9.5 doesn't recognize card as AMD one, so -asm mode
is not on by default...and I can't force -asm 1 nor -asm 2...maybe idea for version 9.6 Smiley
