So, after all, nothing happened? Or market just slow reacting?

it is not the best coin to buy because it is centralized. 80% of all coins hold five or six banks. will be zero in value if those mighty world banks don't accept xrp technology. max predicted value for ripple is 7 to 9$. Personally I will sell it on 4-5$.
Can you name those banks, or you just made it up?

Please fix your asm kernel. I'll see what speeds I get without it, but it's not very reliable, is it?
Pretty much same experience here, miner version 2 was more stable for me

The value of Ripple heavily relies on the usage of its networks by banks. The more banks that join, the higher the value gets.
Similar to how Siacoin's value would increase if a large firm were to use its network for cloud storage.
Hard to put a number on that, but with ripple's high supply it might be hard to hit 10k.
Actually, impossible, except VERY far down the road, when enough coins get burned by transactions

Ripple is a trashcoin. Nothing valuable.
How much posts like these are paid, and where can I get listed? I support XRP, but I'll always take free buck, and judging by amount of people making account just to do 1 post trashing XRP, it must be very lucrative

Told you, SIA GPU mining is dead already
PASC is still useful (I think), it does seem to have slowed down a lot lately though. Probably because theres also asic for it, too (baikal giant-b)

There would be a small advantage /w ETH/PascalLite -Combo with Claymore's miner (i'm on -dcri 20) compared to Single-Mining. Unfortunately PASL is off of cryptopia for "Wallet maintainance"´for 10 days already. Anyone knows another exchange for trading PASL? Theres none, imho

Everyobody should do it, its ridiculous now (and against decentralization that everyone is so hyped about when talking about lets say Ripple)

I just cannot see this "mining getting in crowds" happening. Whenever I talk about mining to anyone, they just see it like some kind of next level pyramid scheme . The people just really don't want to put money in something they don't understand. An average human from a random street cannot figure out what to do if you give him/her components to build a fully operational 6 GPU mining rig. Also, median pay is just too little in some countries to really save up/risk for mining rigs and also try to keep your family well fed. Greetings from across the gulf, Estonia! Cheers! I visit Tallinn on regular basis, I truly love the city! Now that I have Estonian involved, I need to ask: what is your electricity cost? Because in case of setting up mining company, Estonia is definately better compared to Finland. Hell, I am allready Estonian e-citizen! -- Tigel Just 1h ago I was watching documentary, and reason why You guys like Estonia and Talinn...hundreds of Finland people, even women, carrying as much vodka as they can (looked like 10-15 liters per person)

Not the right way to start a coin. Why premine for a month and not mention it? Deceitful start.
But...don't you understand...its the Balkan way!

Ripple - 10k$ per coin? Topicstarter, you are really crazy! New cryptocurrency creators usually only keep a fraction of the tokens for themselves, pre-selling the rest to anyone that wishes to buy some. Ripple, however, still owns about 60% of the initially issued tokens. This raises a few issues.
It can be translated like this, too: "Ripple strongly believe in their coin, so they keep a lot by themselves, unlike other ICOs who want to sell you as much as possible for your dollar"

If you want stable increase during 2018 I think its great...but if you're searching for next 100x short term coin, you have to look elsewhere

Ripple had a great year in 2017 but it is not a very good coin.
Ripple made amazing things in the last year, but this doesn't mean it's a good one. It's like a company and I don't trust this project frankly. There are much better ones. Ripple is centralized. Signatum maybe? Very decentralized and anonymous devs, like it should be in crypto...or maybe bitconnect?

Ripple is not a good investment at the moment. He had a nice pump, but there are better ones now. Do your research, that is a must for investing.
I did...thats why I still have quite a few, while I never had bitconnect

I hold 35 coins and I DON'T OWN any Ripple. 'Nuff said. Yes, I feel sorry for you too...such missed 360x opportunity

The stupidity on this forum is sad, $150 for ripple ffs, why has no one corrected this garbage? Ripple: Cap: $52,250,968,432 Price: $1.35 Bitcoin: Cap: $191,026,895,062 Now, $150 you say, let's take a look at the result if this happened Cap: $5,805,663,159,111 Now, let's look at the ENTIRE MARKET CAP of all coins combined, currently: Total Market Cap: $556,530,119,035 You are expecting Ripple to reach 10x the price of the ENTIRE crypto market cap, 30x the price of Bitcoin. At the moment with it's current price in a day and age where people still have not realised how garbage this coin is, if it continues to move with the total cap, the total cap would have to hit $61,836,679,892,777, 62 TRILLION dollars. Now let's look at this: 2016, global GDP amounted to about 75.4 trillion U.S. dollars. Gross domestic product. Gross domestic product, also known as GDP, is the accumulated value of all finished goods and services produced in a country, often measured annually
nuff said. I think your math teacher was bad, and your logic teacher was even worse Of course, many things can happen, thats why I diversed million $ that Ripple gave me on $3000 investment into more coins, so now I only have 30% my portfolio in Ripple (but I'd advise everyone to diverse, anyway, no matter how much you believe in some coin)

Someone in one of my telegram groupd mentioned, that trading in asia will start again on 31.1. What is there to it? I must have missed something, or was it just talk to the wind? If the trading in asia was in fact on hold, it would explain a lot about the current crypto prices...
I would love to know this too. I got into the party late and bought close to ATH such as my luck. I would love to see this moon soon. Doesn't seem like asian exchanges lack volume https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/
