Hello guys, i'm new here, i recently started mining with my pc, i'm using a gigabyte rx 580 gaming 8g with samsung memory and modded the bios by copying 1750 strap to 2000. I'm currently using NiceHash for mining but i feel like my hashrate is lower than it should be, CryptoNight(sgminer) on nicehash gives me around 585 H/s on average, DaggerHashimoto does like 23 MH/s max and it dips down to 18 MH/s most of the time, Equihash does around 271 H/s.
Running the card with these settings: core:1200 memory:2100 vcore:-93.
Would you recommend to change some of my settings? Is there any other bios mod that would help me further?
Something is wrong there...strap copy is not perfect, but numbers you get are way too low

Can any of those servers accept 3 cards inside the case, HP800 series for example?
Or some Dell?

Check here https://poloniex.com/exchange#eth_gasoctober 29, someone bought all GAS all the way up to 8 ETH per 1 GAS...which was about 150 times higher than lowest asking price...then few days later same thing, but this time up to 0.96 ETH per 1 GAS I bet someone knows something
Since someone bought 1 month ago all GAS on poloniex up to 8 ETH per 1 GAS price, is that some kind of indicator how high it will go now?
Maybe its Claymore address?
I think someone knows something big, as GAS was bought month ago in big quantity, up to 150 times than list price (8 ETH for 1 GAS)
Guess we have to wait more

Put last driver (17.11.2), download latest windows update (1709) before anything else

Your micron: 777000000000000022AA1C0073626C41B0551016BA0D260B006 0E60004061420EA8940AA030000001914292EB22E3B16 stock micron 1625: 777000000000000022AA1C0073626C41B0551016BA0D260B006 AE60004061420EA8940AA030000001914292EB22E3B16 Full custom strap Well something is changed so in theory it IS custom, just no idea why 100s of hours and reflashes were needed to come to that On serious side, micron original straps are already pretty good, unlike Hynix

Even if true, it has big downside...not listed on any reputable exchange
Yes it is. Karbowanec hasn't in Poloniex. Also in Poloniex did not want to start bitcoin cach. Only when he appeared on all exchanges except Poloniex. Then Poloniex launched a trade bitcoin cache. Just look https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/karbowanec/#charts1000 dollars from the beginning of the year could turn into 70,000 dollars No idea what BCH and Poloniex have with whole story

IMHO, you should make announcement more in line with other coins, and also get listed on coinmarketcap. For example, I have no idea where to find pool for your coin, or what exchange it can be found on etc

I have ran this miner for a month, mining sigt. I had fantastic result 135 Mh/s vs 111 with claymore. I didn't see anything fishy just great result and stable.
Shame that developer abandoned it

Why is GPU Mining still possible on Monero?
Frankly speaking, the whole mining thing is just confusing to me. I once asked why mining Bitcoin with GPU isn't possible & I got several replies such as "due to Increase in mining difficulty." Well, I used to think that as mining difficulty increases so should the GPUs. Instead of converting to ASICs...Miners could just buy 100 GPUs for example to continue making profits.
I guess Monereo Mining difficulty does increase too... why do all miners mining Monero still mine it with CPU & GPU and not heavy mining equipments?
Imagine if it were possible to buy 200 GPUs for example to mine Bitcoin instead of buying ASICs...The 200 GPUs may even consume less electricity? By the way, GPU/CPUs are easily sourced anywhere. There are even several broken GPUs one could pick from garbages. I believe this will put an end to Bitcoin Centralization.
Its still possible to mine BTC using GPU, its just that for one ASIC that cost $3000, you need about 1800 1080 TI GPUs to get same hashing power. I'll let you compare electricity expenses, graphic cards cost, and logistic problems using 300 rigs You could mine monero with ASIC too, its just that that ASIC would cost about 5 million dollars, and not many people have that kind of money, and GPUs are still cheaper

So tired of Ripple, everytime big price jump and right after big correction. wtf is this. Banks controlling the coin already?
Guys, get it right. Ripple was NEVER a true public blockchain. It's always been a public-private one, aimed at financial institutions, allowing them to leverage blockchain technology. Saying that Ripple doing business with banks is bad, is like saying Apple shouldn't sell mobile phones. It's the core of their business model. Holding Ripple is like holding shares in the company. If you hold XRP, you should be glad to see this development. Nobody said anything about dealing with banks is bad, were just concerned that such great news gave us nothing but a tiny pump and dump. Frankly, I expected more volume, going from BCH to XRP probably, but it seems BCH/BTC war didn't settle yet, BCH still has more than double XRP volume for the last 24h...we'll see what happens tomorrow I guess
Maybe that's all.. 0.22 and start drop already If Bithumb volume reaches few billion like for BCH pump, we'll probably see bigger gains
