It seems DMM finally started trading, hope they include them on CMC soon

(so we can check volumes)
3282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: January 11, 2018, 09:32:51 PM
So how would i store the XRP safely if I buy? The website seems to suggest you can buy it from an exchange and just leave it in the exchange, is this a joke? I've been around long enough to see most exchanges fail including the huge Mt Gox.

Most? Can you name only 5 others beside MtGox?

Serious people keep it in hardware wallets anyway, and all of them support XRP
3283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple investors - have you learned your lesson yet? on: January 11, 2018, 06:55:44 PM
While it undoubtedly made a lot of money for those who invested in in early and while the price was low (read, mostly bankers), a lot more people have been burned with its hype and then sudden price drop.

See, this is not the first time people got burned on Ripple. It happened before, it happened now and it will happen in the future when they see the chance to grab more money.
This time a lot of new investments came in late 2017 and the money flowed yet again into bankers pocket.

If you really want that new house and be free from bankers influence, the best way is to vote with your money and choose something else.

Ripple should be removed from coinmarketcap.com

If I understood you correctly, you tell us that XRP behaves the same way as BTC, and that we should not listen to fudsters, as we
did not listen to them about BTC either?
3284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: January 11, 2018, 06:23:16 PM
I have feeling DMM has some trouble with trading...don't see price pairs anymore
3285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: January 11, 2018, 02:52:16 PM
If DMM strengthen momentum, $3 at least at the end of day
3286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: January 11, 2018, 02:44:25 PM
No use of XRP? I think people either idiots by nature or:

In your face fuckers

Walls are falling, I tell you! Red ones, that is

when i run with --asm, it only works one card, the others stay idle.  Any solution to this?  possibly run this card on one instance and my others on another?  If so how can that be done with bat file commands?

You're lucky, I have one rx580 and one rx560 and it crashes my PC...not only miner, but whole PC
3288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: January 11, 2018, 02:07:25 PM
The ONLY thing???

Lol, if thats what you think, then maybe this really is not coin for you

I really don't believe that banks out there need XRP's, *or* any external system for transfers.
I mean.. can't you *already* wire transfer from any bank to any other bank?

Sure, bank transfers are slow. But it's not for technical reasons that a bank transfer takes several working days (if that was the case, to start with, they would take 3 days, not 3 *working* days, and delays would accumulate).
Costs? SEPA transfers are already free. Accross continents, no, but the problem is that transfers accross continents generally involve costy conversions, anyway.
I don't know why banks out there would need XRP's, nor Ripple's technology, really.

Ripple's technology is a classic centralized system. Is that crap? No, of course not, it's even much better than decentralized, technically-speaking. But it's old, it's how everything already works.
Is the only appeal that it'd be a buffer between banks, that no bank really owns? Well..

Whats problem with Bitstamp btw, I use it for fiat-XRP transactions, didn't have problems so far

Many have sent (even though I now believe I had picked the right address) XRP's to their "IOU" XRP address, funds have been frozen there for weeks.
New users are waiting to get verified for a month now (but that's normal), and people are waiting for their fiat deposit/withdrawals for a month (that's definitely not normal).
(& yes, they have made their IOU XRP deposit address clearer now, but it wasn't like this a week ago)

Since when is SEPA transfer free? I pay 30€ fee to transfer money from my bank to Bitstamp
3289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: January 11, 2018, 01:21:25 PM
I think XRP isn't worth more than 1 buck, and I had started to sell mine when it reached $2. Sadly, Bitstamp is holding the rest of my few thousands hostage for over 20 days now. I SERIOUSLY hope you're all right and that I will be able (providing those assholes give them back to me) to sell them at the $3 they had reached.
..but really, I don't see that happening again.
For how many years has XRP been under 20 cents? The only thing that changed is the announcement of half of the amount being frozen for now. That would have justified a 100% rise, 200% maybe. 1500%? Just why?
(oh yeah, that bank thing.. I don't believe in it, but well ok)

3292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any 8-pin powered risers you would recommend? on: January 10, 2018, 10:01:43 PM
8 pin is 150W, 6 pin is 75W, but since only 75W can go through PCI-E slot, whats the purpose?

3293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: January 10, 2018, 08:58:29 PM

It's just another exchange between already existing ones. So I'm afraid it wont change very much. But we'll see..

I think the fact that they will allow all of their existing 27 million users ability to buy crypto without any hassle with new accounts could help

To put things into perspective, Coinbase has 13 million users
3294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: January 10, 2018, 06:56:37 PM
I'm happy for you that you don't have any losses unlike me.
And yeah, once I sell my ripple's I won't return to them because I don't like the ideas behind it.

Let's hope it returns to the point where I bought it at soon...

Can you explain why you bought it in the first place if you don't like the ideas behind it?  I for one do my homework before jumping into bed with any coin.  ALWAYS only invest what you can without a doubt afford to lose.  If you think it will go up, just HODL it.  That's what I'm doing with TRX.

You can take not enough informations, you can read lots of informations but miss one of them,... You Can do mistakes this is not forbbiden.

For me, I believe in this technology but After investing on XRP, I learn Ripple & Escrow system has 60% of coins on stock. So now I retire accepting little loss if it's the case

So instead been in escrow, you'd rather that company would be able to dump it into market whenever they wish?
3295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: January 10, 2018, 01:06:47 PM
You have about 12h before DMM to either buy or sell Cheesy
3296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: January 10, 2018, 10:11:06 AM

Ok that's what I thought Smiley Blind cryptonoob without any fact to support XRP .. Calling FUD whenever somebody gives a comment that doesn't look like "XRP TO THE MOON BEST COIN EVER".

It's not FUD man, it's the strict reality and if you had red any real information about XRP you would know this also.

I dont even know why I help you to get out, just hold, I will come back on this threat in few weeks and quote this, it will be funny.

Weeks? I'll laugh at you in a few days
3297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: January 10, 2018, 09:16:39 AM
Ripple is the hell of cryptocurrency, it's centralized and tokens dont have any real value.

Biggest scam of history, of course it goes down and it will keep going down for a while.

I don't get it, whats your IQ...its biggest scam in history, all the banks, states and all
other conspiracy theorist worst nightmares are at work to promote it, yet
"of course it goes down"

LOLOLOLOL

Get rekt personally idc Smiley

I'm sure you red a lot of things about what I've said, owner can decide whenever he wants to make the price drop, full premined coin, centralized, inflationary, billions can be "printed" every months, token without ANY value, nodes are "selected" .. You want other red flags ?

If you do not agree, then counter all the arguments above. I give facts, you ?

Except all your "facts" are baseless FUD

I expect massive buy on Korean exchanges, to preemptively rise price before DMM launch their exchange, to make
it more expensive for Japan investors

Stability seems main concern atm, its strange that sometimes it works well, and sometimes
crashes, without any changes
