I did already stated this on Monday 16-th of September if there is not @ least tracking No.
Martin, did the status for Batch 1 is "Prepare-shipping" right now?

And no info about shipping of the 400,000 chips they just got...nice
Why can't I shake this sick feeling in my stomach that the line about 400,000 chips was just another steaming pile of bullshit ? We did mention in the last email they were already in hand, are being sent out. this email is just to address those people who still wish to get refunds even if their order is "prepare-shipping" which is the 400k+ chips. Are you saying that the chips still not shipped yet? Or are you deliberate delaying chip shipping because you don't had chip in hand?

Alright guys, got some good news, here's the two big ones.
1. chips from wednesday arrived just fine, they are being split/packaged for shipment. 2. we are going to open refund for all orders, not just june 1st/15th or what not.
expect more detailed update via newsletter later tonight.

I think it's more like this, no? 2013-07-07: Batch 6 ordered - Expected date of arrival (10 weeks) - 2013-09-15 ---> + 15 days 2013-06-13: Batch 5 ordered - Expected date of arrival (10 weeks) - 2013-08-22 ---> - 10 days - refunded - 2013-09-01 2013-05-27: Batch 4 ordered - Expected date of arrival (10 weeks) - 2013-08-05 ---> - 28 days - refunded - 2013-09-01 2013-05-23: Batch 3 ordered - Expected date of arrival (10 weeks) - 2013-08-01 ---> - 32 days - refunded - 2013-09-01 2013-05-18: Batch 2 ordered - Expected date of arrival (10 weeks) - 2013-07-27 ---> - 36 days 2013-05-11: Batch 1 ordered - Expected date of arrival (10 weeks) - 2013-07-20 ---> - 43 days
Yeah, most likely because sebastian already said that batch 1 not refunded

NEWS(LETTER)!! Avalon ASIC Chips Delivery Update, September Edition
Due to events outside of our control, the delivery of chips have been delayed so far. While the situation are improving and chips are shipping, we have ultimately decided to revert our policy on no refunds and offer the option for customers to request a full refund(in bitcoin) if so desired.
The link to the request form is below, please note this only applies to orders made earlier than June 1st.
In other news, for those who decided to wait or wish to know more about delivery schedule will be glad to note we are receiving a batch of 400,000+ chips on Wednesday, with that we expect to be in good shape for meeting the upcoming deadlines of chip deliveries for orders made in June and later.
In addition, we hope to wrap up generation one, finish shipping the chips, construct the modules and build the 2 module Avalon mini, put this pre-order mess behind us in general and switch gear into 55nm production, tape out generation 3, and start work on improving chip design for generation 4. Only sell what we can produce in a day on the assembly line, and only what's in stock.

Oh and... 3 Refunds are safed. I received the bitcoins. So now 2 batches and the 6000 chips from batch 6 are on order.
I wasn't aware that we couldn't cancel group 6 chips. I put in my cancel but the chips are still coming? I don't believe you mentioned that 6 could not be cancelled when you first mentioned the refunds, did you? (Perhaps later but I haven't followed the whole thread.) I'm a bit confused here. (And I know you are overloaded with work regarding this refund and I think you should be compensated,) but perhaps there are others in the group 6 buy who thought they would receive chips last and so also cancelled? Thanks, IAS I guess Batch 6 still not overdue yet because it's was ondered on 2013-07-07. That's why it's can not be refund. But i am not sure whenever the list of people still original buyer or substitute by people that choose to wait chips

Sebastian, if i may ask, how do i know on which batch i am currently if before i was on batch 1 that had been refunded I didnt refund batch 1 since we probably need one more batch in addition to batch 6 at the end. But since most of the batches before our batches will be refunded i believe that all our remaining batches are shipped fast. So that it wouldnt matter much in what batch someones chips are. Great Edit: I got it, it's must be Batch 3, 4, 5 that already refunded

I buy my batch 1 chip through auction with more high price & already paid for assembly so i don't want refund. But in case all batch buyer voted for refund, then of course i can't refused the refund

New version of HEX16 with 2 power suply assembled Let the testing start Can't wait for test result

Base on the docs, At zefir batch 2, total sum of chips is 260k. our batch 1 make it total of 680k. So there is 420k chip needed......

Look at this sheet and now say "good news" again - this fucking Yifu will be living dangerous soon I think. It seems this asshole sold "our" chips to some Asians. Look at some dedicated Chinese forums and you will find mass of Avalon chips for sale. Too friedcat had no problem getting new ones for his hardware. On taobao and alibaba you can find a lot of sellers what are selling chips for expensive prices. Do you think they all bought at Zefirs GB #1 https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AiLYkKIHJaIsdHpIaGdUOWRYVUdncTNpNlVKbVhCbEE#gid=0130k chips should be on the way to the customers of Avalon since 5 weeks or so. Good info
