I ordered the same but the Jan batch. Is the power connector part of the package?
What replacement fan would you recommend?
No, the power connector( Blue & black cable with EPS adapter) & blue heatsink is not part of the package. I made the power connector & buy the heatsink in EBAY I am still looking for other fan that closed to SUNON performance. i will post if i find something that closed enough since i had air conditioner in room. That sunon really great, just too noisy for me to place it in my bed room Try prepare what you need from now, so when the miner arrived you can start hashing. PSU, the host ( PC or TPLINK TL-MR3020), usb cable.

I think a managed to BRICK my MR3020 router.
I flashed it with openwrt with cgminer, which worked all fine. I connected again to 192.168.0.99 and set an ip so i can use the router in client mode.
After that I accidently closed the tab of my routers interface, and now it is not possible to reconnect again. Already tried to factory reset the device, but no success so far with any trys. Do you have any ideas or tips?
I guess you just lost the ip address. What is your new IP? Did you closed the tab right after save & apply or wait the process a little while? if you closed right after save & apply, usually the old IP still there. If you had main router, then you can check the statistic. Try find odd IP that not used by actively send & receive data, that's the TL-MR3020.

This is the settings I'm using, checked that the drivers is installed and working and also that HEXminer is using correct rate.
You should enable auto reset(10 min is fine). I hope you not forget to switch on the PSU to powering the HEX16A2.

Hi all, I hope someone can give me an answer / solution to my problem. I just received my HEX16A2 today and connected it to my Windows laptop to test it, but got issues with Hexminer. Following error message is being spammed in the entire miner_proxy. Tested both older and the newest version, but still the same error message. It seem to be able to connect to the pool but when start mining it doesn't seem to be able to get any further. Have I configured it wrong or what could be the reason of these errors? Thanks in advanced! Did the driver installed correctly? Did HEX MINER software setting point to correct com port & use right baud rate? Use the same baud rate that shown in device manager(default 9600). Maybe you could post screen shot of device manager & HEX MINER 1.0.0.3 What i see in your mining_proxy seem normal. I just received HEX16A2 & run it in WIN 7 64 bit. check my post on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=323727.msg4168053#msg4168053

Please report back how it works when you move it to tp-link Thanks and happy mining PS: Make sure that you set-default-to-a on the tplink in order for both hexA and HexC to work on same host Thanks loshia, i will post the result tomorrow when the NZXT FZ 200mm arrived

A few hour ago my HEX16A2 arrived by UPS courier. 1 day late because custom officer work half day only on 26 december, so my package stay 1 night in airport. Sorry for all this noob questions but iīm starting in Asicīs and this is all new to me so please be gentle What is your router & computer IP? Yes, you can connect HEX16A, HEX16B, HEX16C & nanofury using powered usb hub to router. For using SSH you need to know the IP first then configure the router via LUCI to activate the SSH.

I hope it comes molex. I am not positive which wires to strip.
I ordered 2 (2 different dates though) One came with molex, other came without. If you have to strip, get a yellow and black. Yellow is +12v, black is GND. You can just cut off any molex connector, strip yellow and black to connect, and tape the red and other black to make sure they don't touch anything. Thanks. I bought molex connectors just in case to strip. My Mid november for december order arrived 23rd dec and had screw terminals. Think they are moving molex to special request Just got my order yesterday as well and have them running on hexminer, but i can't connect to my preflashed tp-link router to configure it. On what ip adress should it reside? The default IP is 192.168.0.99

can someone please give exact size of board? Width and length
It's 10 cm X 15 cm

Your leads look fantastic, like they were good fun to make. I was going to say you're missing some heatshrink tubing but I spotted it in your bottom pictures, and I can't rave about it enough. Get those solder joints insulated everyone, you can get mixed packs of the stuff from amazon and ebay dirt cheap, and it shrinks tight with the heat of a soldering iron perfectly.
I'm curious about why so many people are getting dedicated PSU's for a single board? Is there any particular reason you didn't want to just get an extended molex lead and run it from your PC psu, that is (presumably) a good one, already purchased, and on most of the time anyway?
Actually the miner run on TPLINK TL-MR3020 in my bedroom which had air conditioner while my PC on my shop. And i really don't want the PC to run 24 H Right now the PSU supplying 2 x HEX16A, the HEX16A2 still not arrived yet.

When I click the start button, a red/orange led on the hex16a2 starts burning, the "work age" starts running, but no hashing occurs. It's connected to a Corsair 430 watt PSU (30A on 12v) with nothing else attached to it, so that should be OK. (and yes, PSU is running by connecting the green and a black wire on the 24p plug) I've tried 2 different USB cables, both didn't work. The user on BTC guild works, I'm using the same (but with _1, this one is _2) for my AntMiner and it works fine.
I'm just confused about the proxy window, it shows all kinds of errors but they don't really make sense to me.... help help please
Try uncheck bitfury option

Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Ho Ho Ho. I hope all of you enjoy this holiday While waiting for my HEX16A2, i make power connector for the miner which will get power from EPS 12V connector from PSU. I use EPS 12 V because my PSU not fully modular & come with 2X EPS 12V connector, so waste to not use them Seasonic M12II Bronze 620W Buy cheap ATX 20 to 24 pin converter on ebay to make the connector Then cut down the require segment that match EPS 12V connector, replace the cable to meet power requirement. Base on observation with HEX16A, using only 1 wire, the yellow wire on PSU side is little warm. So i decided to use two wire & use 1,5 mm2 wire on miner side so loshia won't scold me So whenever the HEX16A2 come with molex or terminal screw, it's doesn't matter

I just got TP link Router from Amazon, getting ready for my December delivery. Flashed it. I do need some guidence on how to upgrade it to the new release of the firmware. I have uploaded it but CGMiner still has old version. I feel like an idiot.
To flash with openwrt go to SYSTEM TOOLS - FIRMWARE UPGRADE then browse for the image that downloaded from technobit. Use factory.bin image Latest version is 0.1.3 DownloadAfter flashing, the default ip is 192.168.0.99. Thanks No problem

Any good PSU will work if in their power spec. But you will need to cut down the cable provided by PSU, PCI-E, SATA, or molex then use the yellow(+12V) wire & black(ground) wire.

so
If you need to use wires to conect the board to the PSU do you just snip the connector off and strip the wires or is there a better way to do it?
I was planning on getting a full modular psu so I could run these and a bfl30 at the same time.
Yups that's the easiest way to do. But if you are hardcore, you can make connector so you don't had to cut the PSU wires. I was working on it right now while waiting my HEX16A2. I will post the picture later
