Super! I wish I could see your nanos also mining at same host You can clock a little bit more your A2 for 23 GH if you wish The nano make CPU usage up to 90% Since i change the fan with less static air pressure, then i fear add more clock will make the chip too hot True CPU goes high but nothing to fear about I do have 7 hexa +2 nanos all working great without performance lost I had unused pi so i let's the nano hashing there I also had android tablet with LCD problem, i will try to add linux & install cgminer. Then run all board there

braindead, if you want to buy powered usb hub for this, buy cheap no brand usb hub. They work better, i don't know why I use this 7 port usb hub or buy something like this 10 port usb hubI made it work many many tks for all the help I´ve powered the router throught the PSU so my hub now is working great and all my 3 hex16a and my 2 hex16a2 are now detected and minning wwwwweeeeee Still waiting for my other 8 units of hex16a2 to arrive to connect them also, we have to moove fast because difficulty is getting higher and the chances for ROI are getting lower Great

I don't understand why the A2 board was recognized on monday as HEXcand has been running ever since und your Ubunto version, and now i wanted to try it again, because on my pi it won't work, it is also only been recognized as HEXa which is wrong in my opinion.
Edit: I claim, that the patch is not working, because if I use ./autogen.sh --enable-hexminerc, there is still the undefined reference to SHA256 in the make process.
The patch is working, the problem is you can't enable only hexminerc. You need to enable hexminera too. For the reason you can try ask marto So i test with ./autogen.sh --enable-avalon --enable-hexminerc Then this is what happen when you give "make" command: undefined reference to sha256_k But if you run with ./autogen.sh --enable-avalon --enable-hexminera --enable-hexminerc Then "make" command will success

Yeah it works with just one hex16a plugged in, seems i need to power my hub somehow to detect the others, can i give more power to the router? in order to detect the other units??
I am not sure about that. Right now where are the TPLINK got power from? Using stock adaptor or from PSU that powered the miner? You can try using power from PSU.

Something i noticed now when the light was off, is that one LED is RED, should it be so? - The LED that is green is closet to the mini-USB port, the other one is lightning RED... The red LED should not lit, in my board it lit when no 12V from PSU. In normal operation the red LED is blinking. If the fan is on then maybe some part of the board not receive 12 V. The fan starts as soon I connect the USB to my computer, even without the PSU. It recognize the board on both the Windows and the Linux laptop as shown in my pictures. If you had multimeter, try to measure the connectivity between molex pin to fan terminal. both 12v & ground. Visual check the solder pad of molex connector on bottom side. See if there is any crack in solder. If all good then you need to send back the board to marto. But if you found crack, you can solder your self & save time.

After searching for 2 day, i found FAN that at least half of SUNON PF92251v1-000U-S99 performance & available in local computer store. My first choice is Zalman ZM-F2 Plus but not available at the moment. So i buy Zalman ZM-F2 LED which is more expensive because of the useless LED. So, now HEX16A2 move to bedroom joining 2 x HEX16A on TPLINK TL-MR3020

Yes i bought from Technobit
Is this version of cgminer incorrect ??
I have a normal hub not powered with 3 x hex16a connected to tp-link
No, it's good. Did you mean 3 x HEX16A2 or 3 x HEX16A ? Because HEX16A avalon gen 1 board need powered usb HUB. Try to insert 1 board first directly to TL-MR3020.

Can anyone help me ?? My tp-link router is not finding my Hex16A ?? cgminer version 3.8.4 - Started: [2013-12-31 02:16:12] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (5s):0.000 (avg):0.000h/s | A:0 R:0 HW:0 WU:0.0/m ST: 2 SS: 0 NB: 1 LW: 6 GF: 0 RF: 0 Try to change usb cable. This is interesting, did you buy the TPLINK TL-MR3020 from techno BTCit? I am sure that marto not publish the image that contain cgminer 3.8.4.

my ip is 192.168.0.23
Hmmm, sorry dude, i had no clue to solve this.

But you can not access the router from web interface or ssh? can you ping the address?
no access via web, no ping and no ssh, I can't even get in failsafe mode What is your PC IP adddress?
|
|

Ok, now connect the TL-MR3020 to your wifi router. You should be able see the statistic on you wifi router since the cgminer will trying to connect to pool.
Ok, got it now. I see the ip address of the router is 192.168.0.30, but I am not able to connect, neither do I see any outgoing connection from cgminer But you can not access the router from web interface or ssh? can you ping the address?

Trying cgminer 3.8.5 on ubuntu using virtualbox under WIN 7 64bit Looks good Yup, overall only consume additional 5% memory from host. So i will let it run there for a while

Hi,
If i buy a tplink in a local store, where can i download the image and more important, how can i flash it to use the other image?
If you go to the Downloads page on the Technobit website you will see near the top - NEW Tp_link img files + cgminer patch - http://technobit.eu/0_1_3.rarFurther down amongst the misc downloads you will find - mr3020 setup instructions A little Googling will find plenty of info on the MR3020 such as this page - http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-mr3020I have not actually flashed one (yet) so any better instructions would be very welcome. Go to SYSTEM TOOLS - FIRMWARE UPGRADE then browse for the image that downloaded from technobit. Use factory.bin image !!! Latest version is 0.1.3 Download. Important: While flashing do not closed the webpage, just let it run until the router restart !!! Again, after flashing, the default ip is 192.168.0.99

This is the settings I'm using, checked that the drivers is installed and working and also that HEXminer is using correct rate.
Please correct the Serial Bitrate to 115200 then the miner will work. Since my board work with 9600 so i forget this, sorry. Then change the baudrate on windows device manager to 115200 & select that too on HEX Miner. Edit: I just found out that baudrate can increase & decrease your hash rate. Try each baud rate to find best performance 115200 make my hash rate decrease.

I mean what is the new IP you trying to set when you click save. But if you only click save not save & apply then the ip should still 192.168.0.99.
But then i am confuse, how did you connect to the internet? You should had modem, and router if had several PC ?
I was trying to set 192.168.0.30. The plan was, that the router connects to my internet wifi router as client. I wasn't connected to internet while i was setting up the tp-link, all local and I downloaded the firmware image before. Ok, now connect the TL-MR3020 to your wifi router. You should be able see the statistic on you wifi router since the cgminer will trying to connect to pool.

I guess you just lost the ip address. What is your new IP? Did you closed the tab right after save & apply or wait the process a little while? if you closed right after save & apply, usually the old IP still there. If you had main router, then you can check the statistic. Try find odd IP that not used by actively send & receive data, that's the TL-MR3020.
I used a static ip and a direct connection from my pc, so no statistic. Ip before flashing: 192.168.0.254 afterwards: 192.168.0.99 I don't know, I think I only clicked save and then accidently closed my tab. I mean what is the new IP you trying to set when you click save. But if you only click save not save & apply then the ip should still 192.168.0.99. But then i am confuse, how did you connect to the internet? You should had modem, and router if had several PC ?
