One thing for sure is the 2 % escrow fee won't be refunded. Other 7 % you all need to appreciate martin work.
This is not small matter organizing Group Buy. What martin spend on that 7% is not our concern because it is his right. And i was very gratefull that he used it for HEX16 development so the price not very high in the end.

If its indeed only the 9%. we all signed up for the 9% when we paid for the chips. we knew what we were getting into. its in the terms in the opening post. marto74 deserves the 9%. still bit high for my likes but he earned the 9% with everything he has went through here. including my erroneous post
+1 Lets leave this mess behind us and sail to new grounds. : ) +1 martin indeed deserve the 9% for all his work to organizing this groups buy. Nothing free of service. We all already know the risk for gamble. 9 % lost in gamble, wow don't you all think that was a good deal? If you all want to blame someone then blame Yifu for making this drama. The story will be different if avalon ship in time, i believe many of you will send extra tips to martin. |

I got a response from PayPal that they have created a non-delivery claim and are awaiting a response from BFL. I can't imagine BFL will rush to respond to an e-mail from anyone, including PayPal.  Fingers Crosssed! Since you make 2 approach to Paypal, then we can't know which one create the dispute. By the way, when did you paid the order(my guess is arround 45 days)? |

Sellers can't chargeback a buyer, that doesn't make any sense. But the dispute can stay open for something like 10-40 days where BFL can submit evidence that you received the product, ending the dispute in their favor.
In my case, there is no dispute in Resolution Center because i order on april 2013(5 month due). After receiving my mail, Paypal just process the reversal without opening dispute. I check the history there is no open & close case. |

Update: all remaining Chips arrived
Today all remaining 3 batches arrived. As planned, I will re-package them over night, drive to Germany tomorrow and ship them out from there.
With that, the partial refund window closed, further requests (starting from epoch 1379691600) can not be served.
There are still a handful of orders with no shipping destination given. Those will be kept back for another 2 weeks and remain claimable. Be aware that for those you will have to pay the S&H as individual orders and you have to pay them in advance. After the 2 weeks hold time, I am going to dump them and to leave the Avalon drama behind.
Thanks for your support and positive feedback. I am going to post one final post with the list of orders shipped, then this venture will end. Throughout half a year I hoped for the best and am really sorry and disappointed it had to end this way.

Basically, Paypal don't care if the item you bought will give ROI or not. They just need to know if the item is delivered or not. If not shipped, how long it's already due. Too long then give full refund, still on permitted windows then push BFL to ship.
So if you send mail to Paypal make sure you don't talk about ROI, this will be fatal mistake. Just tell them how long the shipping already due.
Recently we can see no shipping on jalapeno & LS. My guess is BFL trying to give priority on customer that near to delivery like feb or march order due to paypal or CC chargeback. Or customer with due not more than 3 or 4 month(The agreement for PRE-ORDER) & Paypal definitely will give opportunity to BFL to ship the item. This is what Paypal call "Seller & Buyer Win". Seller still can sell some item, some customer got full refund & other got item more quickly. Again, Paypal had no concern on your ROI.
I order my jalapeno on April 6, 2013 & ask for refund on September 15, 2013

Thanks very much, Just got my refund in 36 hours, there wasn't a return email or anything created on Paypal or lodged with my bank.
Since I paid with a credit card I had to scan all the way back to the start of the year to see the reversals,

Can you contact them and tell them that BFL is ["apparently"] sending a huge number of Tracking numbers to PayPal that aren't actually in transit to delay the Chargeback process....and see what they have to say about that?
Could you ask them to investigate this on your behalf?

Second, that "40 days to ship" seems to mesh with the "operational mistake" of shipping out of queue that BFL got caught at the other day. Interestingly, my account at BFL is still active (I half expected it to be insta-banned for this) and my order still shows as "processing". So maybe they're hoping they can get to my order/all these orders within 40 days and that people will sign for and accept the package so they can get PayPal to recharge them? I'm not sure if PayPal can recharge you or not but I suggest that you do NOT sign for a package from BFL if you have received a refund. Not only is it dishonest, but you may end up paying for a worthless product. So i email Paypal about this matter because my order on BFL also still " Processing". This is the respond email from Paypal:) Dear #####,

Referring to your query, we did not have features for seller to chargeback your PayPal account. All transaction is self initiated by account owner. PayPal will not charge your account without you initiated the process.

I think burnin is still handling the chips himself. CryptX only is doing the shopsystem things. And maybe the hardware for the bitfurys too. But the assembly of bitburner is burnins part.
Looks like yifu put in 16 chips less than 10k... 8320 in the 2 whole boxes. 1680 should be in the rest. But its 4 plates full with 13x32 chips = 416 x 4 plates = 1664. And there was a tray with 13 chips. I think thats 16 chips missing...
Still not reached burnin so i think ill travel to him anyway. I counted the chips he needs and can bring them to him.

Good news like promised. Yesterday morning i got the information that the 10k chips reached my importing company. Since i was bound for the next hours of the day and the travel would have taken a long time into the night and it wouldnt have been possible to bring it to burnin in a reasonable timeframe i decided to let it ship to me. Today i catched the postman to prevent that he doesnt ring. (its a lazy one sometimes because he doesnt want to climb stairs) Otherwise i had to go to post station tomorrow to get it. Now i have chips and prepare to travel to burnin.
I didnt tell that the chips are coming to me by dhl since i didnt want to risk someone trying to catch the package. So i kept silence.
Now i checked the boxes and try to call burnin. Unfortunately i didnt get him till now. I think its best then to sort the chips as long as i dont reach him since i cant sort them in hamburg when he isnt there.
The other 1000 chips i dont have info yet. Only that zefirs batches are on the way to him.
