1361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: October 25, 2017, 03:16:31 AM
How long does it take to deliver the monaco card in Asia location?

Keep in mind it also depends on where in Asia you are. So they're targeting areas like Japan but if you're in SE Asia, or if you count Australia, you're possibly talking about different rollout times.

Does the blocklancer team have to manually go in and check everyones postcount etc for deciding stakes in the bounty? Didn't realise it was so manual labour intensive - if anyone has an automatic process I'm sure they'd be able to make something from it!

If it is manual, I'm happy to be patient and wait for any stakes! Smiley

A part of the stakes procedure is manual, in this way the quality of the work can be evaluated more precisely and there won't be any bot or fake users in our campaign. Obviously, the team doesn't count every single retweet or post from the social media campaigns, that would be very inefficient. But still, there are some things that have to be checked to keep out the spam participants.

Thanks to this procedure everyone can receive their stakes fairly.

Fair enough, must be a lot of work to go through thousands of accounts but I'm sure it will help give you guys exposure! Smiley
1363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: October 25, 2017, 01:44:35 AM
I have 4 of the MSI GTX Gamer 1070. Running at 450-460 sols each

Settings
65 TDP
+150 core
+500 memory

Been running like that for about 12 hours with no issues

Hmm interesting. I'm pulling 415-420 sols at 68 power draw.

I think my mem clock might be pushed too high and I'm not pushing the core clock as high as I could.

Understand different brands of cards have different 'starting points' on things like mem - I have a superclocked card, but sounds like I could get a touch more out of it without increasing the power consumption.
1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: October 24, 2017, 09:34:25 PM
I've got relatively pricey electricity. Curious what people have found as the sweet spot between sols and power consumption.

For example, I'm hitting about 400sols for a gtx 1070 at a power limit of about 68 percent. Getting the extra 50-60 something sols for 30 percent extra electricity consumption is not worth it for me.

Anyone getting a better balance?

Same here, aiming 4s/w on 1080ti and 3.7s/w on 1070

dstm's miner slightly better, getting  GPU1 57C  Sol/s: 458.2  Sol/W: 3.61  Avg: 452.9 and thats only 68% TDP

Really? That's interesting thanks for the tip. I'll have to try dstm's miner. If everyone starts using dstm's miner then the benefit of extra efficiency might start cancelling each other out with extra difficulty! But maybe we can get a one up on AMD miners Smiley
1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ㉫ ENJIN COIN [ICO LIVE] Gaming Currency + Virtual Goods Platform on: October 24, 2017, 10:47:05 AM
What's the main difference between something like GameCredits and Enjin coin?

Enjin looks great, but just trying to understand what its 'competitive edge' is.

Here is a good analysis by ICOtracker:

Great thanks, that's very useful
1366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: October 24, 2017, 05:59:43 AM

So they will post the news by today? Or by this week? it is vague in the Q&A  Huh

Hey refused to give a specific time, or a prediction, a wise choice given how this news is being delayed for almost 2 months now despite many promises and "confidence".

As long as it is good news, I don't mind waiting a couple more days! Problem is that there is no guarantee it will be good news. Perhaps the wording in the media release relates to a major issue, we just don't know.

All that can be done is hold and wait for the news.

1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How many mh/s do you have? on: October 24, 2017, 04:30:30 AM
On ethereum? About 133-136.

2 gtx 1070's
3 gtx 1060's

Pulls about 520-530w.

So essentially magnatum has a 100 per cent inflation?? Not sure that's a good way forward! Would probably be better to try and put a cap or reduce the issuance of coins per year.
1371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZEN] ZenCash: Private, Secure, Resilient CryptoCurrency with zk-SNARKs on: October 24, 2017, 04:18:28 AM
Volumes have exploded recently, ZenCash has become mainstream! Is it all because of that review? Or are there roadmap news?

secure nodes and PBc probably
I know secure nodes are coming soon, but what is PBc?

PBC is a group that recommends different altcoins and from what I can gather, is fairly reputable (think they correctly predicted antshares/neo as a good altcoin).

Most of the things in the article are really just pointing out existing info on secure nodes, but given their reputation, it helped start the recent jump in price from around 7 usd to above 20.

It is discussed a little bit here:

These are extremely low quality posts generate massive amounts of spam, drowning out any legitimate discussion these threads may posses.

Thanks, great summary.

Also nice to see a coin using the skunkhash algo! Haven't seen that in a little while, always a good one to mine Smiley
1373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HUSH Secure Private Messaging and Transactions [Equihash] on: October 24, 2017, 02:41:57 AM
What are the advantages/disadvantages of Hush compared to similar privacy coins. There has been a lot of attention on zencash recently with secure nodes etc, so interested in what the plans are for Hush.
1374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum 2.0 on: October 23, 2017, 08:30:26 AM
Windows Wallet: https[Suspicious link removed] antivirus detects Trojan.Win32.IRCbot.awhw! This is normal?

Some wallets or mining programs come up as a virus (even if they're not). But I don't remember getting this kind of warning when I downloaded the wallet so might be worth double checking you have the right link. Maybe the developers can confirm?
1375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: gpu bubble well and truly bursting on: October 22, 2017, 10:45:18 PM
Nvidia and AMD will have the most profit ever this year because of mining. They'd be stupid not to favor cryptocurrency mining at this point. GPU mining will never be gone, maybe the profits will reduce (I doubt that) but it won't ever end. Gamers will cry more and more in the upcoming years.

This time next year, roughly when ethereum hits POS will be the real test - where will 100 Ths worth of mining go? Ethereum classic only has 6 Ths, vertcoin sitting on a couple. It is such a large amount of mining power that needs to go somewhere. I'm hopeful something will take its place in terms of value, so that difficulty won't outweigh average electricity costs. Only time will tell.
1376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum 2.0 on: October 22, 2017, 10:18:54 PM
So from what I can gather, the focus will be to make signatum like an ebay type coin?
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZEN] ZenCash: Private, Secure, Resilient CryptoCurrency with zk-SNARKs on: October 22, 2017, 10:15:03 PM
Wow difficulty jumped from 200k to 800k.

I know right! About half of my mining time was spent on zencash - wish I mined more before this jump!

I for one am looking forward to the new wallet(s). Eleos and Swing are ok, but anything to make it super user friendly should draw more people in and expand zencash's popularity.

Staking is working fine here. 20 to 50 coins a day

Awesome you must have a lot of coins! Hopefully the price improves over the next little while.

I think my additional coins are expected in like 40 days, so slow going.

Nice work! How does it perform on lower power usage settings (like around 70 percent limit mark). I've got expensive electricity and trying to find the 'sweet spot' so to speak.
