I saw quite a bit of detail on Graft through steemit original works writing 'bounty' held maybe a week or so ago. Some great entries and the project looks good. Are you intending to do any other bounty, or bounty-like activities on the steemit platform?

Yeah after seeing the success of Binance's coin, many of the new exchanges are looking to adopt similar principles, but adding their own new features. I guess it works as a good fundraising exercise for the exchange, plus ensures people actually use the exchange/stick with it as they have a financial incentive to do so through the value of their 'exchange coins'.

Yeah and I always keep an eye out for the different programs that structure themselves into 'stakes'. This means that the more popular bounty campaigns might not always be best, as your stake gets diluted in a larger pool of bounty recipients.
This is the reason I like the current bounty campaign I'm part of - it provides actual tokens for the campaign and not just a split of stakes (which is also impacted by if the organisation will hit their market cap).

Is there an easy breakdown of the difference between a zencash 'secure node', and all the other random 'masternode' coins that are popping up all over the place?
As the name would suggest, I'm guessing the secure nodes are more secure and fundamentally different, but an infographic or description on how they are different would be useful - similar to the zencash one pager comparing it to zcash, monero etc.

Monaco - they will be rolling out their 'crypto cards' this quarter, and people will start locking up tokens to get access to better value cards. They are sitting on a bunch of exchanges and have a close relationship with Binance.
Might not go x10 anytime soon, but also won't drop to nothing overnight like what could happen with some other random coins.

Great thanks for the pool suggestions everyone - I'll have a look through but sounds like there are a few pools that are all working ok, with no stability issues etc.
A few other smaller coins I have mined have had real problems with pool stability and integrity - but looks like snowgem has got it covered!

Smartcash going on an absolute tear at the moment. Only coin holding its own in a sea of red!
Only wish I got involved in smartcash earlier - I like that it actually tries to have an application and make a difference out there in the 'real world'.

I know that Binance sometimes includes forks (at least for larger bitcoin forks) on their exchanges - sometimes not to trade but at least to allow them to withdraw the new coins. Has etherzero lined this up with Binance or will it only be functional for myetherwallet and similar wallets.

Just read about this project through the Binance listing. Looks great plus Beta coming up!
I think a lot of these projects that say they'll incorporate 'artificial intelligence' use it more as a buzzword. Really not sure what lunyr will realistically be able to achieve with AI, but hey, it is good to be ambitious and optimistic!

So many pools, and some look to be on the gimicky side. What pool are you mining with, and would suggest as a well run pool with good administrators and no payout or other issues. Can be hard to determine sometimes if the pools are relatively new!

Is there any way you can easily customise the trading screen? I'm finding it difficult to focus with the black - I understand this is the typical 'colour' used on regular stock exchange platforms, but is there a feature to customise it to be white or other lighter colours?
Might not be an immediate priority, but is something I'd be interested in.

Feel your pain here brother, have had several transactions do this and some they are taking weeks to get back to my support tickets!
But we gotta be patient with cryptopia, I read a post on their blog in december last year and they said that in december of 2016 they were actually considering shutting down. Needless to say in 2017 everything changed.
They like doubled their amount of users in a matter of weeks late last year, there is just no way for them to keep up, and this is all the exchanges not just cryptopia. The exchanges will catch up dont worry...
There are a bunch of new exchanges and teams that have recently gone through an ico process, and will probably be released from mid this year onwards. My guess is that when these are released, there should be less pressure on existing exchanges and more competition (I hope). Don't feel too bad for Cryptopia - they are getting around $100k a listing now (although the asking price without negotiation is even higher).
|
|
|
That's correct, they are asking 5M Dot coins or around 24 BTC. You can negotiate though but the asking is now more than $100k in USD equivalent. There is tremendous demand for coins exchanges now that's why these exchanges are making a killing in commissions and listing fees.
Even negotiated down to $100k is ridiculous. No wonder some new coins need such a high premine! Would be a market for all those dead coins on cryptopia to get purchased by a new high quality team for like 10k, and get forked or completely 'relaunched' with new objectives, whitepaper etc. Would save $90k just like that. Anyway, lots of new exchanges expected by mid 2018. Trade io and coin lion just to name a couple. I think there will be more competition in the exchange space soon, which should dampen asking prices for listing.

Monaco coin price and almost all coin on coinmarketcap are down today. I think this is the best opportunity for us to buy potential coins with cheaper price. If want buy i suggest not using all your money, so buy little by little every the price down
Could be. It has already recovered a little from the last couple days (relative to fiat anyway). Was down to $8usd now back up to around $11. Either way, doesn't really impact on the work behind the scenes for Monaco - still a company trying to get their cards out there.
|
|
|
Hope they list on some new, and large, exchanges soon. The price is in freefall at the moment! Hope not too many people purchased at over 40 cents a token!
In the long run though, should hopefully keep trending upwards as games actual use the coin.

Yeah I can't believe how quickly NEO has risen. It has also been resilient to broader market sell offs and trends. It wasn't that long ago it was hanging around the $20usd mark. Now it is inching towards $200.
GAS also increasing at a very fast rate with NEO. So yes NEO will be in the top ten for quite a while I would imagine.

Everywhere I go on the internet lately, I've been targeted by Monaco Visa Card adds. This implies to me that a start-up "initial coin offering" (ICO) has spent way too much money on advertising, and not enough time on getting it's project off the ground. To be sure, things look entirely over-done on too many levels, that its hard ...
Better than no marketing, but I agree that we are waiting way too long. Yes Monaco keep saying that Quarter 1 2018 will be huge. I hope this means cards in hands ready to use and spend! Hopefully any increase in advertising is because they are close to hitting the go button on sending out cards and eventually working through the long queue of people who have reserved cards (and token lock up). Ideally you'd want the systems all set up so that people have their cards and there is no queue at all - just like you would expect with a larger credit card company (although this could take a while).

Am I wrong or upbit just listed STRATI/KRW on their exchange? If yes these are BIG BIG news!
Wow 27$ on Upbit Yea I don't know why korean exchanges get such a premium. I mean, wouldn't you save a tonne by joining another exchange converting your KRW to USD, buying bitcoin and exchanging for the altcoins you want? I mean, I know it is a lot more convoluted but when the premium for direct purchase is 20-30 percent...

Given this is a Scrypt coin, is Ignition Asic 'friendly' or resistant. All for trying to mine Ignition and support the project, but want to know first if my little ole GPU rig is not going to manage any reasonable amount of coins, given it is a Scrypt coin. Otherwise happy to support the project in other ways (bounty involvement etc). Also congratulations on the coinmarketcap listing

I would like to see STRAKS on www.kucoin.com and www.binance.com exchanges. STRAKS will x2 x3 in short term. Thank dev team so much. P/S : those 2 exchanges have many potential coins as well. Reg one for yourself. Ha I think most coins would like to be on major exchanges. It's not really up to the coin developers to just 'decide' that they want to be on a large exchange. There is an application process, fees to be paid, priority list from the exchange etc. Even for an exchange like Cryptopia, they charge something like 5 BTC just to get listed (which is a ridiculous amount imo), and they aren't even one of the main exchanges - they're more second tier kind of level.
