1121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will NEO become one of the top 10? on: December 23, 2017, 09:56:51 PM
Neo will probably keep in line with other coins. So will broadly rise or fall with them.

Just not sure how many coins will be using the neo platform compared to the other offers out there. That beinf said, over a hundred is definitely achievable next year.
1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | BLT | Bitcoin Lightning | Airdrops| Masternodes | PoS |Bountys on: December 23, 2017, 09:37:00 PM
About the project nothing is clear. Rating of the author of the topic, immediately shows what a project worthwhile and interesting.

This makes no sense. The author has no other posts.

Also suggest that instead of using google translate, just post in your native language.

But yes this looks to be another bitcoin fork, or new coin trying to live off bitcoins name.
1123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PoW/PoS180%]AltCommunityCoin [YoBit][Active Development] on: December 23, 2017, 01:02:12 PM
Congratulations on staying as a top community coin! There are only a few coins that have managed to do that successfully and altcom is one of them.

Will join some of the bounty campaign soon Smiley
1124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] Graft - credit card and crypto payment processing network on: December 23, 2017, 07:16:34 AM
Is graft a credit card or a payments platform?

There are a few credit card type coins out there already, like monaco, which are already developed.

If graft is a payments platform, would vendors need special software? This might reduce take up.
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STRAKS - Decentralised, Open Source, Community Driven Digital Currency on: December 23, 2017, 06:55:54 AM
Are there any instructions for using the swap bot to exchange sigt for straks?

Just type !swap on Discord. You will receive SIGT address you've to send your SIGT. You can send few amount to test if it will be okay. BOT will notify you when it will see transaction. Then you need to generate your wallet address and gve it to bot.

I've also question about SWAP - how often does payments make? I didn't find that on github (or I did not understand it properly). I've swapped to my wallet few days ago, but my balance is still 0.

I swapped my SIGTs to STRAKS 10 days ago. And my STRAKS is still 0. I tried to understand SWAP mechanics and calculator but with no luck. I think first payments will be not earlier than the end of SWAP process

You don't get it all at once. On the first page of this thread is a link to github that explains the swap rules and procedures. It also has an explaination that the swap could take a long time depending on what percentage of people swap their sigt to straks.

I believe it will be deposited into your account in intervals every month, parallel to mining rewards so new straks don't get dumped on the market all at once.
1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MONA] Monacoin LAUNCHING 2014/01/01 0:00 GMT on: December 23, 2017, 05:58:18 AM
What does monacoin actually do better than other coins? Nothing on the website jumps out at me as anything special.

I mean, I know it has a cute catface on the coin, but surely there is more to it than that! Happy to hear what I'm missing to explain its popularity.
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Proof of Stake coins to invest now and gain huge in 2020? Next Dash? on: December 23, 2017, 05:43:08 AM
I'd say neo it has jumped up like crazy recently and you can hold it on binance exchange to receive staking rewards. You don't need separate wallet.

Stratis has low stake rewards but is a coin with a great future aswell.
1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: December 23, 2017, 05:37:51 AM
Yea the krismas/christmas announcement might be something to do with first cards being used in singapore or something like that.

I'd actually prefer if the announcement was about further features for metal cards Smiley
1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] ⭐ Snowgem ⭐ – Equihash – No Premine – No ICO on: December 22, 2017, 09:30:31 PM
10 percent or 5 percent should be 1%... over 4 years 8 years 1000000 years... dont care... just make it a flat rate of 1% for the whole length of time... be invested in it long term. it shows dedication

Many other coins have this kind of founders reward. Think zcash has 20 per cent for some time and zencash has 8.5 per cent of block reward.

I'm fine with 10 per cent, as long as it is used for development, whitepaper, marketing etc.
1130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Interest - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Decentralized Savings Community on: December 22, 2017, 12:47:07 PM
So hitbc has already confirmed that they'll support?

Given you aren't forking until 22 january or therabouts, why have they agreed to support so early? Are you connected with them in any way.
1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMAS]🎅CHRISTMASCOIN🎄THE MOST WONDERFUL COIN OF THE YEAR🎄 COINMARKETS 🎅🎅 on: December 22, 2017, 12:42:43 PM
I don't mind a coin that doesn't take itself too seriously, although the creator santashi would disagree Wink

And besides, when December is done, you could always try christmas in July.
1132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BWK] BULWARK | NO ICO | Masternodes | Accelerated PoW | Seesaw PoS/MN on: December 22, 2017, 07:02:39 AM
Shared masternodes are interesting. Particularly since the 500k masternode amount is probably out of reach for most people at current prices.

Now looking forward to reading the whitepaper whenever it comes out.

It's only 5k coins, which is about $20k USD at current exchange rates.

And good news - you don't need to look forward to the whitepaper! https://bulwarkcrypto.com/Bulwark_Whitepaper_v1.1.pdf

Great thanks for that link I'd looked on the website recently and it wasnt up yet. Will have a look now Smiley

20k is still quite a bit for a new coin that, until recently, didn't have a whitepaper as a reference point! Might get more interest now that it is released.
1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: December 22, 2017, 06:58:33 AM
Well the company would have to sell some of their tokens, or have some other game plan to pay for all those staff!

I mean, some of their latest hires wouldn't come cheap and to run a credit card company requires alot of cash I would imagine even without the latest hiring.
1134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: December 22, 2017, 06:53:33 AM
Any specific reason komodo is holding so strong right now?

New to komodo but I remember when it was 2 usd. Now hanging around 10 usd. Seems to be some news related to btcd but wouldn't think that would be the main reason.
1135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚛️ [ANN] Bitcoin Atom - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Atomic Swap Powered ⚛️ on: December 22, 2017, 01:03:50 AM
I see so this bitcoin atom hasn't actually forked yet? It is more in the preparation stage of being forked?

I guess that could help with building interest before going through with the fork. Probably early 2018 I guess we should expect it to occur.
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New to mining, need guidance on: December 22, 2017, 12:49:57 AM
Not sure litecoin is the way to go if you're mining with GPUs. Probably should start with something like ethereum.

There is a good guide on reddit ethermining subreddit on how to start purchasing parts and setting it all up. Suggest having a read through there.
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] POLIS - Community coin [MASTERNODE] [Lucky-PoW] [X11] [BOUNTIES] on: December 21, 2017, 11:59:20 PM
Lucky pow sounds fun. Could get enough in one block to run a masternode if you solo mine and get very lucky!

I'll have a closer look at what this coin is about outside of lucky pow.
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZEN] ZenCash: Private, Secure, Resilient CryptoCurrency with zk-SNARKs on: December 21, 2017, 10:44:29 PM
Any specific news for why zencash is hitting high $40's right now? Seems to have jumped out of nowhere. Not that I'm complaining Smiley

Is it just recent media attention and rollout of secure nodes? I know there have been a few mainstream articles that have included zencash.
1139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: December 21, 2017, 12:06:04 PM
Does anyone still remember the price of ICO? I remember when I regretted not investing, up to 20 times from July to the present

It depends on exactly when you would have invested, since it was in ethereum. From monacos twitter page the average announced was about 2.50usd, but some people got as low as 1 and a bit usd.

So yes, getting in early would have been a great result!
1140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN} The Search for a Real CryptoCurrency is Over - Introducing Emmetropia on: December 21, 2017, 11:27:36 AM
Not really sure what this coin is exactly about. Is it essentially like a usd tether type coin to lock in present day value?

Also what is the importance of being on the waves platform a few people have mentioned. Mainly just that it is a good platform.
