So I'm assuming Zclassic will be no more after Bitcoin Private becomes a thing? Or will Zclassic be maintained - perhaps it can be called Classic-ZClassic to help distinguish it from the previous Zclassic Also it's crazy how this merge/fork caused Zclassic to go from $4ish to over $100. Bitcoin forks are going to be everywhere.

Check out http://bountylord.com. I like it very much as it makes my search so simple. Just follow the list as they are and you are going to help you. They are grouped which makes it easier to look for the kind of bounty you want to participate in. They are really working hard. I advise you to consider join bitcoinwhite bounty campaign Great thank you, this list is a very useful way to stay on top of what is happening. Trawling through bitcointalk to try and find the right bounty campaign, or one that is just starting, can be very time consuming! Particularly since you don't want to be 'late' to a good project, which starts shutting itself off to new participants.

This coin was great while Nicehash was down, Whattomine listing it won't affect it. They don't even list Nist5 coins in their main dashboard.
Yes this - whattomine will only impact if they actually list the Nist5 algo. I'm really not sure why they don't list it, there are a few coins using it now. Plus they listed 'Skunkhash' pretty quickly, and my understanding is that is more of a hybrid between a few algos. Nicehash coming back is a bigger problem! I remember mining around 3-5 times as many coins in the couple days after nicehash went down. Oh well, bulwark is still going from strength to strength!
|
|
|
I've seen a few threads stating that the Nist5 algorithm is more energy efficient than other algorithms, such as equihash, with this being used as part of the reason of using this particular algo.
Is there any detail or evidence that this is the case or how this shows itself in general mining? My GPU's are running at similar temps using the Nist5 algo, plus I'm power limiting anyway due to high electricity prices in my area.

I also hope that MunCoin can be traded on cryptopia in the near future.
After 4 Jan we pay listing and all will depend on the speed of administration cryptopia Everyone uses cryptopia, but it is such an expensive exchange for what it offers! Something like 5 bitcoin for a listing! Is there any scope to reduce this cost or negotiate with the cryptopia exchange owners for a lower cost? Or is it a case of them being so well known, that they can charge whatever they like.

I've noticed that zclassic has increased significantly in recent weeks. I'm fairly new to zclassic, so just trying to understand the possible reasons why.
I've read something about a coin merge or airdrop, but how does that work exactly and why is it being done? The Zclassic website is a bit light on in detail about this update. If someone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

Congratulations, almost enough trading volume to get listed on coinmarketcap.
With the price of Bitcoin jumping up and down so much, the exact price day to day can make a bit of a difference in determining whether there is enough trading volume to get listed. Should happen soon enough though.

Can I just confirm that travel insurance as a perk has been dropped from all cards?
I recall it was included as a benefit (or possible benefit) up until recently. It looks to have silently dropped off the website. You would think the platinum cards would maintain this perk, or offer a discount on travel insurance if that wasn't possible. Looks like it isn't even included on the obsidian black card!

Not sure why experience points is flying to the moon! a top 100 coinmarketcap coin, listed on only a few exchanges, but yet it is increasing so fast?
Any specific reason or announcement to justify this rapid increase?
Lots of gaming coins out there, just interested in what is making experience points increase so much.

Thanks for the detail provided on my question about developers and future plans, really appreciated.
Also looks like cryptopia is the preferred exchange for listing based on votes so far. I will say that cryptopia costs about 5 Bitcoin to list at the moment, which is an absolute joke for what they offer.
I'm sure there is room to negotiate with the owners, but still, just making it known to general users that cryptopia isn't an 'easy listing' as it once might have been, even thought it is seen as a second tier exchange.

Is crypto kitties still a big thing causing issues with the ethereum network?
I thought it would be more of a temporary hype type of thing, which would settle down after a few weeks.
Either way, draws into question the ability of the ethereum network to upscale.

No, thank you. I'm not a fan of unlimited supply of coins
From my understanding, ethereum is technically an unlimited supply coin. But I agree, no cap and little detail about what this coin will do is not a good sign.

Yea I think in the Q and A they mentioned the travel insurance was only for the premium metal cards.
Think on the website it still says travel insurance is included on the ruby card though.

So is electra now at the proof of stake stage? No more mining with nist algo?
Always seem to miss these coins with accelerated proof of work periods! However, the project looks good.

Excited to see new logo and design whenever that comes out! Also secure nodes are a great innovation. One day we'll be able to do everything through secure private transactions on the blockchain I'm sure any bugs on secure nodes will get sorted out.
|
|
|
So many coins nowadays have huge masternode rewards, like sparks with 50 percent!
What is the thinking behind large masternode rewards? Do these help with security of the coin and transactions that much?
How are people finding mining this coin, how many coins you receiving?

huge difficulty and nethash increase. Indeed probably nicehash, hope they get hacked again.
lol, why we need ASIC resistant algo when there is nicehash? Nicehash back up and running and people are using it? I would be a bit nervous using nicehash after what happened! I prefer to mine coins directly, instead of hopping around using nicehash and selling straight away for bitcoin.

My bet is card rollout will be announced mid/end of January. I believe Visa freeze is over by then.
One thing I'm sure about is that the price won't ever be lower than now. I said the same when it was $6...
Maybe, depends on how many tokens get added to the market and what happens with the lower end cards and lock ups. I mean, a 50 mco ruby card could still be out of reach for some people at today's prices. Perhaps they could do a 25 mco ruby card with 12 month lock up instead of 6? Anyway, we'll see.

Ripple now at over $2. Last few pages on this forum have commented on price, but I'm still trying to get a good answer on Why it has gone this high in such a short period of time!
It seems crazy for it to have pumped this much without concrete news.
|
|
|
Why is ripple pumping so hard these last few days? Wasn't that long ago it was sitting at 18c.
Any news or anything concrete to explain why the last week it has increased so much? Nothing jumping out at me on their website.
