I'm glad Blazr2/HagbardCeline is still interested in enough in crypto to continue learning and innovating. Two years after coin launch, I'd wager that 95% of original coin devs are nowhere to be found.
Hagbard also launched FlaxScript, and nobody seemed to upset about that. But innovate with Uno, and people get upset. Go figure.
By the way, if you're interested, he launched Offerings to Cthulu (OFF, quark), 23Skidoo (CHAO, sha256), FlaxScript (FLAX, god knows what this is), Prototanium (PR, sha256) and Unobtanium(UNO, sha256) are all traded on Cryptopia. He also created some coins for hire in 2014, but I don't have full list of those). Those listed here are his labors of love. He's into crypto for the art, the fun, the learning. Clearly, not for the money.

Natmcoy, that exchange with bitjohn is priceless. You're right on. Hackers already know there's lots of coins at Cryptsy. Why try to hide an obvious fact. The published volume gives it way.

Impressive hash rate, currently at a very impressive price. Lack of any serious quantity on the sell side is interesting. The current strategy of traders seems to be to withhold buy orders and just pounce on any low sell orders that appear.

No crypto, is immune from short term manipulation. LTC, DOGE, BTC, UNO... We should all be used to this by now. If you fall for it then it's your own fault. It's such a classic and predictable pattern that it has become incredibly boring to me. Yes, crypto goes up. Yes crypto goes down. Money flows in and out, up and down, all around.
In truth, there is VERY little Uno being sold right now. I'll start to worrry when there is 20 tons between the highest buy and .01. For the most part nobody is selling today, except some mysterious dumper who is the reason for the wide spread; he keeps dumping deep on the buy orders. Why should we close the spread when a dumper will sell it to us cheap? When the dumping stops the price will have to rise again. We saw this in 2014 when the stolen Coinex coins were being dumped on the market for months (at least Erundork had the intelligence to dribble it out slowly).
Look... you can buy into the FUD and cash out at a loss if you want. But don't do it because the Mac wallet isn't working for one guy. Find a better reason to justify your behavior. Uno has never been stronger, technically. It all seems to stem from one loud person who can't follow basic instructions from a helpful community trying solve their specific problem in a friendly manner.
When the buyers step in it will be on their terms, at a price that they determine, when they are ready. I personally won't act because some fudster said I had to buy his Uno at his price. For the moment, I have been rewarded for patiently waiting for dumps. That strategy is working now, so why should I chase sell price?
Maybe we all decide to let it fall to .0001 for a while. Or .00001. Whatever. Sell all your Uno cheap and then in a few weeks, come back and calculate how much money you lost. Fine with me. I don't control you. For me, this isn't about the price of Uno today or next week. If you want to hop in and out all day long, then you need to be trading bitcoin, not Uno.
I think Uno is worth .03, but I won't quibble if you want to sell it to me for .0001. Depending on how I see you acting, I may just wait you out.

The only funny business is that with the latest few versions of OSX it defaults to hide the library folder and you have to do something to make it visible. anyone can google "show library folder OSX" and find out how to do this though. its not fucking rocket science, but i dunno, maybe all these words i am saying just do not register in mind of a cave man?

UNO is #2 in volume on Bleutrade today due to a large sell order placed at 0.0061. There's still some left. Won't take much more volume to put it at #1, it's a small exchange so that isn't hard to do, but it's always good for exposure.
damn, i wanted that chunk so bad, but my BTC order hasn't come thru yet. hope theres still some cheap uno left for me when coins arrive. haven't been able to make an uno buy for a couple months now Sorry, man. I ate the last of it.  |

Can anyone with a Mac let us know whether or not the Mac wallet works for them?
Gekko is claiming that Mac wallets have not worked for months and nobody is doing anything about it. I have a feeling his node directly is bad and he just doesn't want to spend 20 minutes to learn how to add nodes, but maybe I'm wrong.

I don't think it's coming back.
I'd like to be proven wrong, but there are too many delays and hurricanes and whatnot. This is not normal. It must have been broken beyond repair. Good intentions, no matter how good, don't fix f*cked up blockchains.

I'm not surprised, given how little Un is available. A whale cashing out is an opportunity to those who have been throgh this before. I'm hope our newcomers were not duped into selling at 006. Everyone here seemed to keep a cool head throughout.

It looks like you filtered out "pre-mined" on coinmarketcap fallingknife. If you also filter out "non-mineable" it ranks 26th!
I usually just reference the complete list for some reason.
The only list for me is the "Currencies>Top 100." CMC understands the difference between Uno and crap like Mastercoin and mmnxt. Top 100 currencies is the best list for ranking Uno imo. But yes, if it is more fair to apply an "apples to apples" comparison, you can put Uno back into the top 20's by screening that stuff out. Liking the volume on Bittrex today. Good to see Uno on the front page again.
 That should take care of my low volume concerns for at least another week.  There is a nice pile of Uno out on Bittrex around .008. It's very tempting.
 Even Bleutrade is in on the action today.  Cryptsy is surprisingly inactive today. When I made this screen shot, Cryptsy was at the low end of the range. A mere 6 Uno buy would put it up in the high 007's. Very little sell pressure at the moment. |

Bids are creeping up, asks are retreating. Once someone tackles those 200 UNO around 0.008 on Bittrex we'll re-enter the 0.008-0.009 range.
They'll be gone soon. This is antigravity material. Dumping Uno is like trying to hold a soccer ball under water. The cheap Uno was nice while it lasted. I hope the good guys got some. |
