I am not interested but you might want to include pics to help the sale and pics of the miner screen to verify they has without any X's or -- I planned to if someone was interested to purchase. I'm not going to go through the hassle of uploading all of it unless I see buyer interest. There are a few under performers and over performers in my lot. I bought them as they are, no chips have spoiled since I've owned them. Overall they average out to 3.7TH/s steady. The problem is, I don't think anyone wants S3s at this point. They are however still terrific for entry level miners and enthusiasts. People speak of an ROI on these things as impossible, but I've doubled my investment in about 5 months. No im not a whale im just a guy that like most of you does research and picks coins that look like they have a future .. The difference is i dont get married to a coin defending it till it hits ZERO.. So glad i sold .. I bought at above 20K and saw no forward progress.. So many justify why a coin is loosing value blaming on Whales dumping and saying " so more coins for me cheaper" really dont get emotional .. if a coin is loosing traction.. Sell even at a slight loss.. There were many time where i bought a coin at say 38K it dropped to 10K .. what did i do.. In that case i had faith in the coins long term goals so i bought at 10K giving me double the coins eventually selling at 22K for a NO LOSS ..NO GAIN .. But this one i dont see any future value.. Take a hard unbiased look .. dont defend a coin just cuz you own it..
I haven't invested many resources in mining it, so I'm not too worried. The coin is still up over where it was two months ago in price.. Also, could you consider the possibility that not everyone is mining or purchasing coins for the sole purpose of trade/profit? Yes profiting is nice, and this will come naturally with usability and function, which is what I see in Emercoin. Why do you see no potential? Is it because there are a couple fat wallets out there? Find me a single cryptocurrency (with a reasonable market cap and active nodes) that does NOT have fat wallets hiding in the shadows. |

I am NOT saying that complaining is a scam but you didn't find it odd that these Newbies were nowhere to be found DURING the airdrop registration and now that its closed we have a bunch of accounts with only 7 activity (which if I remember correctly is the first activity points you get after just one or two posts) screaming that they want in on the airdrop as well regardless of the fact that registration is closed........I have been here for far too long and have seen this type of crap before and my first instinct is that they are puppet accounts of someone trying to increase their DCR holdings, it is a popular tactic of whales and scammers (even though those two are one and the same if you ask me lol) I admit SOME of them MIGHT be legit but my money is on most of them being alt accounts. No offense intended here, but I think he may be agreeing with you  I believe he's trying to say that the people who were too lazy to sign up in time, or simple lurkers with no proof of online activity are crying foul because they procrastinated and are now left out. There IS a mining phase they can wait for if they're so upset. Or they can purchase if they truly believe the project has value. |

It looks like distribution has become more skewed over time. You know, this coin could probably break some sort of price bump if it were to receive the wallet with updated graphics, another service here or there. These are things that could be done with minimal effort that would make this a lot more fun and afterwards, set up another nice giveaway to redistribute a little bit. |

If you want to drive the price lower, it just means more EMC for me and everyone else  I see no reason why EMC can't achieve dollar parity in 2016. The tools and capabilities are there for it to succeed. I think some people are just freaked out at the fact it doesn't get the same marketing and social media push that some other coins do. Just because it isn't blowing up in conversation every minute of the day doesn't mean it's not going places. |

I see a lot of people here complaining about the airdrop registration. As stated before, your account may simply be too new to be considered legitimate. Personally I had no issue with the sign up, didn't take long to get my confirmation email, and generating an address was a pretty simple process.
As for the people complaining that this is a scam, not sure where that is coming from. Also, are you new to the world of crypto? Everything is a "join at your own risk" scenario in the world of cryptocurrency. If you're so afraid of clicking a link, why don't you run your stuff in a sandboxed environment, or wait for verification that it's safe from a trusted forum user, OR simply not participate at all?

Delete anything that says emercoin from both the "Program Files" and "appdata" directories. Reboot, do a clean install of the wallet, put your wallet file back in place and see if that works. I'm assuming you are running Windows here. |
