Does anyone know if there is a way to set diff client side with the optimized miner? I'm looking through docs but don't see anything. I know pool cranks it up to prevent network flood but I was hoping to turn it down just a wee bit.

Your explanation is fair enough, started mining for fun. Keeping my eyes peeled though Wink My procs are a little too weak... Might have to jump on the pool. Only pulling about 900h/s between two of them

You should try the optimized miner https://www.bitteaser.com/press-releases/?title=1

Good point, getting about 11Kh/s now  Smiley

Not sure my 6 core zambezi is going to like this for too long without a repasting.

I'm waiting for reply on some things, and hopefully that updated wallet!

Might be a false positive, but why should I believe otherwise?....

---->Avast flagged this wallet after analysis as a threat. It does not flag ANY other wallets I've downloaded, regardless of how shady they or their developers appeared.

I ran a test with virustotal, and avast gives me 0 flags.
You can scan it yourself. Maybe the in-wallet miner gives you this false positive like many wallets using 'setgenerate', please share some details about the flag.

It's giving me: Dyna:BitCoinMiner-CR [PUP] || mul

Very well may be false positive, but as I said before I've not had a warning with any other wallet in this environment and there's 15+ installed just for the lulz.

Also, explain to us what is so great about OPES over Argon2Coin? Better name? Better logo? Any plans or just a carbon copy of their code?

Sounds like a false positive. If you have doubts, feel free to compile the source and run the same test.
That is afterall, the purpose of opensource code.

We're not here to compare coins against each other. The Argon2 algorithm is great since it's very new and minable by the larger crowd without high investements.
Our name, logo, plans, team differ from each other, of course. But now, let's focus on mining so we can have a fair distribution amongst miners.

The rest will become Obvious in a couple of weeks. This is not a competition between 2 coins.

tl;dr
Of course our team members are in trollboxes to gain users  Grin

Are there any SHA256 pools still in existence for this coin?

Hi yes i run one
www.justpools.uk

It doesn't look like there is any activity?

Also, I was looking for a pool specific to this coin, not multipool.
Thank you for the reply though  Smiley

EDIT: Nevermind, I see that it is not multipool. Maybe I should read more carefully next time...

Hey Fixx,

I'm trying to setup some staking in the wallet. My question is, is it a problem if my passphrase has spaces in it? It doesn't seem to like that it does.

If so, what would I put in the batch file to substitute the empty spaces?

EDIT: Nevermind, I see you can do it right through the wallet GUI. D-oh

I'm hoping this is sarcasm  Wink

What's the point of this again? Dev have you cashed in on that premine yet or no exchange to dump on?

Planning to add this to your multipool? That should be great for the price...

I was going to... I tried with the downloaded source and it didn't play nice... and I've found that forks from NMC or PPC... tend not to work.... my stratum server reports invalid mode

I was getting a little worried, then checked to see there's only about 17TH/s active on your SHA256 pool. So join the fun if you can figure it out  Smiley

Yes ppc/nmc are the parent coins here. So likely same issue you have with them.

Dumping because a wallet has not been cosmetically updated, sounds like a plan.  Grin
I'm keeping mine, staking like a beast.
Current marketcap at 4 sat is 1.58 BTC to maintain this price buy support for only 0.015 BTC/day has to be added.

Same here, sitting tight on what I have. What do I have to lose?  Grin

Definitely hoping for some updates or fun services soon though..

Dev, what are your plans?

Why bother asking? I can give you a hint, the "dev" has taken this coin as far as he wanted already. If ICO is done, that's likely the last thing you'll really hear from this.
1097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ████████████████████ [X²] ██████████████ on: December 20, 2015, 06:58:50 PM
Whats going on with the price Huh?

Probably someone waiting for the updated wallet, not seeing it yet, and dumping out. Price can't go much lower than it is though  Tongue
1098  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase User Agreement - Login/Page Refresh Loop on: December 20, 2015, 12:20:41 AM
Hello,

I had the same issue with coinbase.  This is how I got past it.

1) Open notepad and type your full legal name.  Highlight this and copy it to the windows clipboard (ctrl + c)
2) Open coinbase in a browser and login.
3) When it starts to refresh the User agreement page, quickly click in the box and paste the windows clipboard followed by enter. (ctrl + v followed immediately by enter)
4) If you were fast enough, it should get you past the User Agreement screen.

Good luck.

Thanks for the tip, I'll have to give that a try. It was refreshing very quickly...

Youd think they would acknowledge this problem. Not everyone has it, but as I mentioned I tried this from several different computers and browsers. It has to be an account based issue.

Their ultimate solution was just "make a new account"

Thanks again for your suggestion!

No, this is a joke; we aren't afraid excepted of Allah.

Hey man, fuck you. You are afraid of your own shadow. You are the cockroach of this species. A parasite. Your stupid belief in a fairy tale book is helping slow down human evolution. How are we ever going to become a space faring intergalactic species with shit head neanderthals like you walking around?
