Does your system crash when difficulty is at 512?
How the hell am I supposed to know? Maybe if h2o changed it I'd have the possibility to test it.

You do realize how silly you sound here right?

You expect the pool operator to change the difficulty on his pool just so you can test something that everyone can guarantee you is not causing your system to crash?

Difficulty only changes what hashes submitted will be counted as shares, nothing else.

I think it is not about the difficulty. What is your settings?
I don't experience any freezes when mining on Liteguardian with the same settings, but difficulty 128. On Middlecoin, it's guaranteed crash/freeze within minutes EVER SINCE THE DIFFICULTY CHANGED to these high numbers.

Yeah, you must be doing something wrong.

Can't imagine any possible reason why difficulty would have an effect on the stability of your PC.

Difficulty could be 1 or 10,000 and your GPUs and PC will still be doing the exact same amount of work.

That one is sexy, b!z! lol

So far I am really liking the second one submitted by ibminer and the second one submitted by gogodr.

To everyone else, I appreciate your submissions, but you took my idea too literally. I know I said I wanted you to turn my sketch into a logo, but if I truly wanted it to look exactly like my sketch then I could have done that myself.  I need artists to put their own creative touches on my design to make it look better, not just digitalize my 30 second sketch.

KWH what's your order number? Just checked mine. Still stuck on "Origin Post Preparing Shipment"

Order#767

#1125. I'm very surprised you don't have yours yet.

Dang! Yeah no worries. I'll be selling it to someone in this thread as soon as it arrives since I've decided to start my own case building operation. Mine will definitely be more expensive though. No clue how his costs are so low Wink

I'm happy every day with my mining income...

Now my wife and kid on the other hand... whew... they can be a bit too much sometimes.

I'm with you on the refund request Josh. This is downright ridiculous.

Yeah, I'm almost at that point but honestly I just stopped caring about the product...  I already built my own case for the rig I was going to use the OpenRigs case for and tonight I actually received 40 feet of aluminum tubing and all of the connectors to make my prototypes.  So within a week I will probably be making an announcement for my product which will be similar to OpenRigs, but will be manufactured and shipped from the USA.   After I get the prototypes done I will be making a much larger order of tubing.

A refund would be cool, but I'm not mad at the company.  The shipping is just ridiculous.  It's unfortunate, but it is what it is.

211  Economy / Services / Re: Bounty 0.1BTC+ - Need Graphic Designer for my logo (see picture inside) on: February 10, 2014, 08:05:03 PM
I think you might find this one more appealing

I do kinda like that design!  The letter spacing on it is good, but I think it could be a little more polished.

However, I don't exactly like the target on it as it looks like it's ripping off the Target (retailer) logo.

I'm going for the target hash which is the hash that solves a block.  So maybe adding in the cross-hairs would make it stand out a little better.

Oh how I love the levels of stupidity achieved in this thread.

20 mh/s, at the moment.

Need to know I can pay the electricity bill on the marijuana farm.

It works really well. Hashing away on the R9 290s to create a nice climate for the real hash farm, plus some immediate cashflow to pay for power bills on the lighting and the R9s.

The real payday comes when the plants are ready for harvesting.

Man, that is exactly what I want to do, but I can't convince my grower friend (or my wife) to move to Colorado to do that.

I only have 2MH/s right now.  Thinking about making another rig, but also just thinking about buying some Bitcoin right now instead.  Probably will end up doing a little bit of both.

I'm supposed to be getting aluminum in today so I can start working on manufacturing some open-air cases to sell.  If that takes off then I will probably put everything else on the backburner for a while.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - www.middlecoin.com on: February 10, 2014, 05:20:19 PM
in other news...

looking pretty good "so far" today. already over .01/MH for today.

Curious, how many MH do you guys have?  And by "you guys" I mean the ones that are checking 4-5 times a day at what the projected payouts are going to be...

Hello, I am lazy and not a very talented artist, so I want to pay someone to turn this sketch into a logo for a website.

The site name will be Target Hash and here is the logo that I sketched up on some graph paper.  Please submit your designs to me either in this thread of via PM.

If you charge more than 0.1btc that is fine, let me know what your price is and if I like the design then I will go with it.

Looking for something by this weekend as someone is assisting with setting the site up right now.

Feel free to deviate from my sketch and throw in your own creative ideas as well.

Closed.   Congrats to gjeric for his submission.

Paid 0.1 BTC

Fuck CGWatcher.

...Do you have a better solution for that stubborn card that decides to get SICK or DEAD randomly?...

Developing a stable config file will solve that type of problem.

Ummmm, yeah that's all fine and good... but what is your solution for this scenario?

5850 works at 350kh/s for about 12-24 hours and then randomly goes SICK immediatley losing 350kh/s on your hashrate...

You can "stabilize" it by reducing the intensity to 14 and getting 270kh/s for 24hrs with no problems or you can use CGWatcher to restart the miner and get the GPU running at 350kh/s again within a minute.  Sorry but I would rather do the latter and "stabilize" at 80kh/s more.

Not a good explanation.  Sorry, bud, but you are another person who is "fuck this" or "fuck that" without actually offering a valid explanation.

Miners are fucking stupid and this thread is proof.

This thread is getting better and better every day.

I would bet money this is the best thread on bitcointalk ...

Yeah it's one of my favorites for sure!  Oh well, I'm done trying to educate people on how mining works.  Now I just prefer to ridicule them on their idiocies.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - www.middlecoin.com on: February 09, 2014, 07:24:00 AM
If you're getting high rejects, just set a fixed server that works well for you. I use US East and I'm at 99.4% accepted atm.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.... what the fuck do you think you are doing?

This involves people to actually think for themselves and try and adjust their settings to the best solutions.

Clearly that is not a strength of the average middlecoin user...

Fuck CGWatcher.

Why so hostile?  Do you have a better solution for that stubborn card that decides to get SICK or DEAD randomly?

My biggest beef with CGWatcher is those stupid pop-up texts all over the place and the fact that it will always start when Windows starts no matter how often you tell it not to....

Other than that, it is useful for keeping those silly SICK cards in check.
