wow, since UPS moved the delivery day back a day, thats 2nd day, from stockholm, to  Volcano, Hawaii... That just amazes the hell out of me.

are you still talking about old orders that have since been delivered or stuff that is in transit right now?  I'm trying to figure out here if they simply decided to ship en masse using dhl and if that is the case, did they simply not issue tracking to individual customers yet(or will they for that matter).
1222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 16, 2013, 06:29:42 PM
who in their right mind guarantees 5% over absolute (that is akin beating 7% interest per week)  Undecided just saying
1223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][VIDEO DEMO] C.A.T. Cryptsy Automatic Trader (Second Beta Auction) on: October 16, 2013, 05:49:19 PM
Its official - this has become a joke.  Sampey why haven't you made the decision to simply offer the product to be available for purchase?...you have received enough real world feedback from your first round of bids/buyers.

if you want a sweet spot price point I suggest .5-1.25 BTC cost for a non-transferable key.  I was already alienated enough from the horrible market corrections that happen with the pleathora of coins available ala cryptsy  (you know how it goes...buy in after the market corrects its supply/demand price and yet it still X currency still deflates 10-1000X in value just weeks later) - your "carrot dangling" with the semi hft software is now offputting.

1224  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: And all the miners cried out in terror... on: October 16, 2013, 05:41:17 PM
No reason cry yet, maybe end of 2014... however I think it´s not going to be so bad even then.

Your're right I need to get my head out of the mining.thegenesisblock gutter
1225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 16, 2013, 05:39:23 PM
Sadly I fall into that category Joeventura brought up:

I did get an emailed note from Emilia earlier as posted in the thread and true indeed I see my order status changed to shipped.   However I received no tracking email from neither DHL nor UPS.

Does anyone know/can confirm  do I need to flash to the latest FW once I recive my unit or will it be flashed to .95 already at this point?
1226  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: new bitcoin difficulty to 263,358,983 and future profitability of mining on: October 16, 2013, 11:47:53 AM
these are only estimates, considering recently bitcoin difficulty increases about 30% every 10 days
Anyway, consider that fortunately there are a lot of SHA-256 alternative cryptocoins to be mined Wink

Personally I'll continue mining bitcoin with my mining rig, for other 3-4 months, but consider it has started to mine since beginning of september, so it made its work, and has been profitable, and will continue being profitable for other 3-4 months.

So, after Jan~Feb 2014 I'll evaluate stopping mining bitcoin, and starting mining alternative sha-256 cryptcocoins.

no problem just keep mining until difficulty hits 60Billion then call it quits.  It wasn't 6 months ago that 50 GH was no joke now its damn near chump change in a few weeks...that is if you are the type to mine and sell back to pay off debt right away.  If you hold it may reap rewards when you cash out.  Also speaking to legitimacy, wouldn't it qualify as a long term capitol gain if you didn't cash out mined coins or traded coins for at least 2 years if it were major amounts that were to be converted for substantial purchases such as homes or nice cars?  (Sorry I dropped off topic)
1227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 16, 2013, 09:46:03 AM
Can people please stop comparing BFL to every other company. Being better than the worst is not a measure worth using.

It's like someone running you over in a car and then telling you that you're lucky, you could have been shot.

BFL was perceived as the market leader even in light of Avalon coming online.  Its called a "control group"

I could have done the same thing by quoting Avalon for their 3 month delay on batch 3 units and/or the whole batch chip distribution debacle.  But why would I do that...I'd rather focus on the big company that put in a ton of money into advertising and banners EVERYWHERE...and fucked everyone royally (I had my mercury money towards a bfl single for a couple months before hand, mind you)

Would you suggest a better "control group"?

bitfury is a chip mfg with their own subsidiary turnkey distribution channels bfstrikesback/megabigpower

Asicminer?   Please. Those guys charged 10X the market value of their devices hand and fist - the only folks I saw buying up those units were the ones who were wary of BFL, missed out on Avalon Batch one, and had prior infrastructure in the form of GPU farms that they wanted to upgrade for power efficiency reasons.

so please friend....name a better control group for us to all compare KNC would you?
1228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 16, 2013, 09:37:25 AM

from the news post

Quote
After yesterday’s factory output we can now say we are currently 3-5 days behind in the factory and the hosting setup at current speed which we are trying to increase in all ways possible.

...

Yesterday the factory produced and shipped 350 boxes and we expect the same number to be shipped per day over the next coming days.

so let's say they are 4 days behind that means 350 * 4 = 1400 boxes. On avg each box should meant at 300GH/s (if they are going to ship also mercury(s)). That means that in next few days we will have an increase of at 420 TH/s only from KnC.

Cointerra hashfast bifury and Custom Chip miners....not even bringing up the private money that is being thrown into bitcoin mining.  I'm stoked for the hardware crash coming to a blockchain near YOU.
1229  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitcoin Lost due to KNC's Late Shipping on: October 16, 2013, 09:34:37 AM
This bubble will burst and I wonder what sort of "crash" will follow?

Easy.. mining hardware prices will crash. Nothing is going to stop difficulty from exploding, all these asics will be produced and will join the network one way or the other. The only variable is how much people will pay for them.

that's when I come in and buy up your hashpower for pennies on the "jacksons"  Looking to spend 500 dollars for 100 TH by December 2014
1230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 16, 2013, 09:27:21 AM
Oh look, KNC finally grew a pair due to the pressure applied by me and others. Well done.

Holy crap do you ever just "kill that noise?"  the negativity from you could fuel the darknet should if have ever been fueled by that nagging nancy attitude of yours bro for real.

All

As you are aware we have missed our own set deadline to ship the entire backlog of orders by October 15th

After yesterday’s factory output we can now say we are currently 3-5 days behind in the factory and the hosting setup at current speed which we are trying to increase in all ways possible.

We appreciate that while this is not good news for anyone who has not received a box we are only a few days away from completing our promise.

We will continue to post a news update on our site every day stating how many boxes have been shipped and how far behind the end of the queue we are.

Yesterday the factory produced and shipped 350 boxes and we expect the same number to be shipped per day over the next coming days.

Thanks

KnCMiner Team

See those numbers shipped per day?  That alone puts them head and shoulders above bfl imho.  Get off of broken promises guys.
1231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Bitcoin music playlist on youtube? on: October 16, 2013, 09:22:33 AM
Is there a playlist of Bitcoin-related "songs" on youtube?
Something silly to play at bitcoin parties ... ?

E.g.

- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIeVbykXkcc

we need more songs related to bitcoin.  I want to see someone start a bitcoin crowdsourced amt such that say 500 coins were collected from the community and were given to the first major A-List Artist to create a hit single about bitcoin.  I think that would spread adoption faster than TurboTax integrated for bitcoins could.
1232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 16, 2013, 08:56:14 AM
It wasn't auto generated...I reached out to them specifically on the 15th for a reply and was given that answer maybe 30 minutes ago.  They probably did a bulk action and applied all paid for orders to be "In progress"  If ur0pl's estimation is right then they are expected to be done with the current queue by Friday or perhaps by mid next week if worst comes to worst.
1233  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Opinion on the US on: October 16, 2013, 08:45:45 AM
I remember hearing or reading somewhere that while Americans (myself included) know that they aren't the best, they will sure think and give off the attitude "hell yea I'm the best!!!!!!"

I know I've caught myself falling for this line of thinking...its not about who is better, but how you utilize everyone's strengths and weaknesses together.

Yes I'm fat...totally a fat guy.  But I've seen what appears to be fat people on various countries not just America.  I like my size though...I noticed that fat people don't talk shit about fat people - its usually the awkward loser skinny people or insecure skinny people that feel compelled to point out obesity lol.  You know who you are...you made fun of fat kids when you were young....you're insecure lol.

Lazy?  Sure...I like doing less physical work at a greater level of efficiency than you.  I can't help it if you refuse to learn Excel stuff like MID, Text To columns, and VLookup lol.

I wish you would've added more colorful answers such as:

Has a dumbass government

Fucks up at policing the world

Costs more for healthcare than my country

Is full of too many entitled little shits who think the world should keel to them after college

Had a dumbass billionaire darknet empire king arrested in the sci fi section of the Public Library.

Since none of them could match what I desired I simply just don't give a flying spaghetti monster fuck nor shit nor private key of DPRs brain wallet. Fix the above and by all means I wont feel those sentiments...Thank you very much free speech.

KNC Miner:  Knows what Two More Weeks™ really means.  (what if their silence is a result of not wanting to "insult to injury" us with that line?)
1235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 16, 2013, 08:14:00 AM
This is my reply from Emilia today.  I have an order 35XX and was paid on Jul 10th.  {fingers crossed guys}

Code:
Hi,

This order will be completed today looking at the current production line.
You should receive your tracking number late this afternoon.

Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thanks
Emilia

Med vänlig hälsning  |  Best regards

I know I know this could simply be a quick-sent saved signature...but I'm hoping that she really did lookup my order and confirmed its progress in queue.
1236  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: No mining hardware is worth buying on: October 16, 2013, 06:48:34 AM
you guys all screwed up...if you are willing to keep sell orders alive (buy in and once your buy order clears immediately place sellorders at a slight gain [still gain from mining earnings while your gigahashes are on sell order]) you basically get mined coins but can either sell at a gain if you play the market correctly or sell it to be at just a slight loss such that you are still in the black on mined shares earnings.  Sure its small, but I did it daily the buy/sell game and ended up gaining  maybe 2-3x what I put in initially which was like a single coin (cashed out around 2.5, I was greedy and didn't get out before the correction which would have put me in at 2.7 BTC for simply putting in and playing on a single bitcoin within a three week period)
1237  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: And all the miners cried out in terror... on: October 16, 2013, 06:34:15 AM
And  Cheesy i plan use my knc miner beyond 1000mil difficulty  Kiss for everyone using 60ghas less wishing happy New year 2014 , 1000's of usb erupter and jalapenos die  Tongue

1238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 16, 2013, 05:21:00 AM
If you want to know how much you are loosing (unrealized loss?!), per GHash, per day, just check cex.io GHS future "daily change". Smiley

That's about -0.04 BTC.

nope that only happened within the last 3 days as the market corrects for diff increase...you are totally fuding that out of context.
1239  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: October 15, 2013, 05:10:22 PM
Where's https://ghash.io/ getting all of the excess TH/s from?

Either people who started mining on it or it growing by itself or both of these causes.

spiccioli

Isn't GHash exclusively mining with Bitfury gear?  They seem to be growing at an astronomical rate.

No it isn't. Apparently anyone who invests in the that three letter hosting service that begins with a C gets to point their miners at it.

Yes im responsible for a paultry 20 GH of it as my hardware points to their pools
1240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 15, 2013, 09:01:41 AM
so its acceptable for KnC to go stealth mode??

investment requires investors - thats us...

what normal company treats its investors with such silent treatment?

or relies solely upon a fanboy turning up and doing any oddjob given whilst promoting and supporting the very entity that is causing all the concern??

all i have asked for is clarification - all i have received is silence from the company & their 'rep' and stupid diversionary b.s. from bored housewife type men

Definitely not acceptable at all. I'm not too satisfied with their communication or lack of it in the last 2 weeks. Who knows what they're thinking. Or perhaps they're just simply flat out busy.

And they haven't given 100% completely silent treatment. You can still contact them via phone or email and they will reply to you. Like they have to mine or a lot of others.

All you're doing is ranting on a forum (at god knows who) and expecting a rep to come on here to give you a direct reply. That's not gonna happen.

you forgot = "soundin like a bored housewife type while doing so"
