321  Economy / Reputation / Re: KICKICO-KickEx:Legit business or scam in making? on: February 16, 2020, 09:38:48 AM

I occasionally get some worthless shitcoins of seemingly dead projects in mew, but this is the first time for me to experience something like this from project that is listed on the exchange with some trading volume. That's why i was so surprised, but seems like people massively fall for it, sharing referral link left and right.

Pump&dump scheme in this case is obvious, as chances of project like this to gain and loose so much in the matter of few weeks  and to be completely legit are none to zero.
I also doubt that this is the last pump&dump cycle with this shitcoin.

To trade on some exchange, you have to trust them to some degree, and i honestly think that their practices won't have the effect that their are aiming for, as all this can only make me distrust them and never touch their exchange.

I had sold my KICK tokens when the market was good but after that they sent dividends to all addresses that held tokens and even to my address even though I had sold my tokens but the dividend was 0 (an error in their contract). When they stopped, this was their airdrop but it's only to promote their exchange. If KYC was not involved, things would be different.

Can still see 562,560 users who joined the exchange so till now it seems to work. Since the market value of those tokens are $200-$500, I guess many would be excited to follow their steps to unlock them.

Did NZ play with 9 bowlers Huh Cheesy

Today Mayank played well with 81 and Pant as well while Gill failed again. Don't find Gill deserving to play in these 2 test matches as he needs more experience but the other players are good along with Saha who is a surprise package. Rahane is a good batsmen and so should get Gill's position in the first test.
323  Local / India / Re: Cyptocurrency not banned in India on: February 15, 2020, 10:28:18 AM
Few days back got an article written "Indian Police Warns Against Dealing With Bitcoin" but it read the same old things we have been hearing that crypto is risky and invest at your own risk. Looks like they won't be handling any crypto scam cases and hence released this article but even before they were least bothered in solving such theft and hacking cases.
324  Economy / Reputation / Re: KICKICO-KickEx:Legit business or scam in making? on: February 15, 2020, 10:23:16 AM
It's not a scam but it's definitely spamming users with their tokens who don't have any interest dealing with those coins. Having being a part of their campaign earlier, this marketing scheme is not ethical. They should have had an airdrop campaign instead so tokens would be sent after users authorizing to receive them.

The token's price pumped few days ago and now there's almost a 50% dump in the price.
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After losing did you feel you must return the soonest to win back your losses? on: February 15, 2020, 10:15:22 AM
Nope! After I lost an amount that was given as a free bonus for joining, I just believed to withdraw all my funds and started choosing another form of gambling which was lottery that I could enter without investing much. Not much luck when it comes to dice games or even betting games. Have lost more than the amount I won.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: UTRUST on: February 15, 2020, 09:58:01 AM
I have sold tokens that I bought during ICO, now I only hold tokens that I got from the bounty campaign. Yep, yesterday utrust informed a new partner with one of the fashion spheres, and they said they would announce a roadmap this month and broadcast an AMA session.

I also hold bounty tokens for like 2 years and some were sold at the rate of $0.25 at kucoin exchange. Still hoping it would reach atleast $0.1 and I sell them but the market is so bad. Their wallet app also has been downloaded just 500 times so it's not popular on Google Play Store unlike Pundi that has been downloaded 100k times.
327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 15, 2020, 09:08:03 AM
Finally something positive to see today with all the bowlers picking wickets and even though Jadeja didn't manage one wicket, his run rate was below 3. The opening partnership is working now with a lead of 87 runs. But still NZ squad may be different for the real test.

Sharma may be out for the first test it seems but Bumrah, Yadav all are doing a good job, especially when Bumrah did not get one wicket in the 3 ODIs.
328  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries with banks to buy and sell cryptocurrencies on: February 14, 2020, 07:10:48 PM
Nobody is afraid of banks going into crypto? I mean looking at the financial world right now, banks are the reason why we are not doing that well right now. They are using everyone's money to make more money, that is literally stealing. I do not have 100% control over what my money is doing right now for example, it is at a bank which is putting it on some stocks and making profits whereas I am said that I can withdraw whenever I want.

Well, that is not reality is it? If all the money was withdraw, how could they pay us all? They would have to at least sell all their investments which would crash the economy. We already gave banks too much power with fiat, I really hope the same won't happen with crypto, if we let them do whatever they want, they will ruin crypto market as well.

Feel the same of giving someone else the control over my funds and they will be applying so many verification barriers to know where each input is coming from. On withdrawals also restrictions would apply. It would be worse than giving exchanges control over our money. I fear if a person chooses to withdraw his entire balance, it would be a case like shares or mutual funds where you get less than what you stored/deposited. Else they would suffer huge loses and stop offering crypto services.

Indian batsmen are always vulnerable on green surfaces. And Virat Kohli was not playing in this match, so there was additional pressure on the batsmen to perform. As I can see from the scorecard, only two of the batsmen scored above 20 (Pujara and Hanuma Vihari). And Scott Kuggeleijn must be feeling ecstatic right now, after nabbing three of the Indian batsmen. I don't think that the selectors can ignore him now, especially in the absence of some of their strike bowlers.

Virat wanted to see how the new boys play and he must have been disappointed watching them get out for 0 and 1. NZ are weak when it comes to test matches so am expecting India to be definitely better than them and 263 doesn't sound good. This warm up match should be a wake up call for the team.

NZ on the other hand have great bowlers like Sodhi and Kuggeleijn. Taylor is missing the test match but don't know if it's good or bad as they need good bowlers more than batsmen. Hope Ishant, Yadav and Jadeja give their best this time.

Atleast middle order performed well in the first inning. Openers Prithvi and Mayank are key in this series, i would say defining players for future so give it some time. man i want to see Shubam gill in middle order, fine batsman and beautiful to watch when he bats, i dare to say Porn for Traditional fans.

I'm more scared because our opening batsmen are not performing and have let the team down since the ODI and if they don't perform, the other team players would feel the heat as it's a test series and not an ODI. Lack of form is worse than lack of experience. Middle order performed well and saved the team's name. Happy to see Virat taking rest.

It is just a warm-up match, it would be incorrect to come into any conclusions about the teams performace or individual players. They are professionals and they know what improvement are needed.

I have high hopes with Prithvi Shaw this time, this guy is good batsmen in a five day format. Hopefully he performs to his full potential.

It being a warm up match is the saving grace. Since, India is ranking first in test series, don't want them to lose and still most playing are new and not in form so this warm up match could help them perform but they didn't. This score doesn't look promising lol: http://prntscr.com/r289vt
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CAS]Cashaa: The Next Generation Banking Platform for the Next Billion [AIRDROP] on: February 14, 2020, 10:25:59 AM
I just read that Cashaa is open for Indians too and is converting BTC to INR and depositing the money in the bank account. But when the RBI has banned banking transactions, how Cashaa is able to do this and stillw e need to verify the account. Means we are risking closure of our bank account also.
332  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries with banks to buy and sell cryptocurrencies on: February 14, 2020, 09:45:11 AM

If banks hold crypto of their users, it will be similar to the online crypto exchanges we know already nothing different, the only difference will be that these commercial FIAT banks will help to spread crypto faster to the non-crypto average person, meaning more value for bitcoin and cryptos.

And we all know what happened when users held their money on crypto exchanges as most got hacked while only few reimbursed the money. If banks also get hacked, there's no point as banks should have the upmost security. I don't see anything positive here as the moment we invest in banks, they circulate our money and give out loans etc. and put restrictions of holding a minimum balance. Thinking about everything, it's not looking good.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 14, 2020, 09:39:03 AM
So in today's warm up test match also India performed badly. The opening batsmen got out at 0 and 1 and Pujara and Vihari were the only ones to score runs in the match. Shubman Gill gave an IV few days back and looked confident but he also made 0 today. The new batsmen are either fooling themselves or viewers or will claim that it was a warm-up match so it's OK. Last time also they lost against NZ in warm-ups and in the semi-final match.
334  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: February 13, 2020, 02:19:18 PM
Thank you for the link. Many people are eager to see how this plays out, I cannot see any winners in this debacle except Grant Thornton. They are guaranteed to swallow the bulk of the recovered funds and then will leave some token gesture (no pun intended) for the people that lost all their Cryptopia holdings to distribute scraps between them.

It is not looking good, sadly.

Seems like that only as they are just mentioning account holder's abiding the rules and nothing about reimbursing them. They did not comply with AML requirements too but could find this quote in the latest article

Quote
Before assets can be returned to traders, its liquidators stated that they would need to provide additional identification information to comply with anti-money laundering laws.[/quote[

Now if they'll just ask ID proof and not let us withdraw our money, it won't be of any use.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 13, 2020, 11:05:24 AM
Looks like you all are discussing forging documents but sadly it is not just forging but many don't have their birth even recorded, especially since many players come from villages where they just know their birth month and may be year so for them, it's easy to get fake documents as there is no proof. Even in my college I had one student whose birth month and year were forged but nobody ever bothered to take a look at it.

Tomorrow's test match have the same openers probably. Don't know whether to watch or not to watch as this would hamper India's rank in the WC tournament. Sharma may be back in one of the matches so we have a good bowler atleast. More than the batsmen, we need the best bowlers.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [RCC] Reality Clash - First ARG Mobile Game with ERC-20 Armory on: February 13, 2020, 10:59:39 AM

Really? I haven't been monitoring this project for a long time and now I'm surprised what they say, whether they don't think about investors or bounty hunters who have worked to promote this project to success. Are there other reasons why the team does not want their tokens to list on any exchange?

Yes, they said that the tokens can be used to buy weapons from their own exchange and then sell them. The last I know that they listed their token on Tokenmarket which was obvious as this project was managed by the team.

Quote
As we have said before and we continue to address - we were not willing to spend a lot on listing fees especially when our products weren’t ready yet. We are up and running now and so speaking to more exchanges and NFT marketplaces.

This above quote was April 2019. Till now looks like the same state.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [RCC] Reality Clash - First ARG Mobile Game with ERC-20 Armory on: February 12, 2020, 01:58:08 PM
I have been holding this token since their bounty campaign finished and the project has been running for more than 2 years but I don't see them wanting to list their tokens on the exchange, actually when the bull run occurred in 2017 I think the RCC can enter several exchanges and for now as well as you say is the right time.

They said that they aren't interested to list their tokens on any exchange and it's disappointing as if they did not want their token to be tradable then why hold an ICO. I am also holding their tokens for 2 years and while they were being traded on Idex, my tokens never got sold there.
338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 11, 2020, 10:28:37 AM
I can say now that NZ is a better team on paper and in the field. The T20 series though won by India but NZ gave a tough competition in 2 matches where they had to bat in a super over but here in the 3 ODIs, two matches were completely one-sided. No hope to even think of getting equal or giving NZ a tough game. Thakir has proven to be the costliest bowler now and Virat has lost his batting knowledge. Rahul and Iyer are the only reliable batsmen but India failed in batting and bowling completely and now with the upcoming test series, I am scared that this would be India's first lost in the WC Test Championship and NZ's second win Sad
339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 11, 2020, 08:57:59 AM

Both Latham and Neesham are good players and they habe Grandhomme yet to come. I think it should be an easy win for Newzealand. Your hope will be broken may be Cheesy If India can get one early wicket, things may get changed.
Now, they need 81 from 74 balls which must be easy.

I know my hopes will be broken but when 3 wickets fell soon and the big men went, I felt that more wickets would fall but now the new batsmen have settled and need just 79 runs. But am happy to see 7 RRR as it was 6 earlier.  Sad
340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 11, 2020, 08:32:10 AM
Taylor gone but still chances look dull as Nicholls is still on the ground with just 109 runs to get. They need atleast 5 wickets more as even the bowlers would manage 50-60 runs easily. It's not T20 where less overs are there and more runs to chase. The RRR is also 6.11 only.

Nicholls gone  Grin I am beginning to have hopes  Lips sealed
