461  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Balance Moved to a New Address on: January 13, 2020, 01:18:51 PM
If you/anyone else never did a transaction from that wallet, it's unlikely that such event would occur. I guess you have certainly sent BTC someone. Check your transaction history or check through explorer. If you didn't execute the transaction, I guess you must change the wallet to a new one.

The OP said the balance is still in his electrum wallet so I am assuming electrum created the new address and moved his funds to the address belonging to his own electrum wallet.

OP, are you sure you did not do a transaction when the balance was 0.3? As such transfers to new addresses only happen when a transaction is made by you while you don't lose any money but just new addresses are created in your own wallet holding your overall balance. It happened to me while using Ledger Nano.

Check this FAQ: https://bitcoinelectrum.com/frequently-asked-questions/#why-did-my-wallet-send-money-to-an-unknown-address-without-my-permission
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] bmy.guide | Connecting Travellers All Around The World 🛵 on: January 13, 2020, 01:11:30 PM
Listed on the exchange is indeed not a priority but admin on their tele group say, GUIDE will already be listed on several exchanges soon Smiley
And you right, bmy.guide's Main Bounty Campaign has now ended but  bmy.guide's Postcard Campaign still open, you can earn up to $1 per post
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5210650.0

They stopped their campaign too for some unknown reason with the hope of starting a new campaign. I really like the idea of this project but it would be better to have a campaign that enables reviewers submit their review of visiting a place. When I visit a place, I first check reviews and the places I can visit there. But however, they should increase their pay as it takes a lot of trouble for making reviews and they seemed to be interested more in few countries than the world.

Their token value is also low $0.17 I guess while I read earlier the value was $0.35. Waiting for the second IEO round news and collection results.
463  Local / India / Re: SBI's action against bank account holders dealing in crypto on: January 12, 2020, 06:31:38 PM

Possibly, when huge transactions are happening between two saving accounts and even in current account receiving big amount from random third parties with no company account has chances of getting caught but someone who has limit less than a lakh per month will be out of radar for sure from my experience.

Private sector banks don't question users like state banks but banks like ICICI, HDFC, SBI all are more interested in such big transactions. The smaller banks don't have so much interest in user's funds.
464  Economy / Reputation / Re: Overview of recent username changes in Bitcointalk on: January 12, 2020, 06:22:21 PM
^^
I feel this thread was made mainly because that most of the users are trustworthy and one whom I know is a bounty manager and hence, it is confusing when these users with new usernames contact anyone and say I was earlier that user and them conducting a research to know if they are telling the truth. I don't get the privacy thing as they can still be identified having only changed their display names. One user seemed to have changed their username to make it look better and professional not for privacy reasons while others no clue.

I guess OP's title should be changed to "display name" instead of "username" as usernames have not changed.
465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 12, 2020, 03:17:11 PM

Quick look at the Indian Team without going into any details.

-Dhawan /KL fighting for opening slot ( Rohit is fixed)
- Kohli (Fixed) and Iyer making a strong case for fix spot.
- Manish Pandey wants to cement his position for Number 5, let's see.
-Rishabh Pant is favorite but Sanju is ready to compete for Wicket keeper-Batsman
-Batting all- rounders. We have to wait and watch who comes at the top. Shivam Dube, Vijay Shankar Hardik (Vijay and Hardik are out due to injury)
-Bowling all-rounders -Washington Sunder or R.Jadeja-
-Cutthroat competition in Seam bowling. (Bumrah is fixed)
-Spinners are fighting as well Chahal-Kuldeep

This team is for the World Cup? If so, Dhawan is more suited for ODI so would love Rahul instead. Iyer is losing his form but still 9 months to go which would mean so many team members being replaced, dropped, injured (God forbid!). Also, the tournament is going to be in Australia so that's again in Aussie's advantage.
466  Local / India / Re: SBI's action against bank account holders dealing in crypto on: January 12, 2020, 09:44:40 AM

When sender of money writes something related to cryptos while making deposit of doing IMPS or UPI then this will bring an alarm to our account and they will watch changes in activity and if it got more transactions related to cryptos then possibly get blocked without noticing about retriving.

I guess even if the sender doesn't mention anything but is caught having crypto deals earlier, they'll question the source of funds every time. This situation has existed since years as even in 2016, the banks were terribly against crypto transactions and considered them illegal but now they have become even more strict by closing the accounts. Do they have a right on the funds too? Want to know from the affected users whether they managed to reopen their accounts and remove the funds.
467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 12, 2020, 09:41:38 AM

Though I agree that the current team is not their strongest but don't underestimate the talents of Angelo and Malinga. They can play some fabulous cricket and win matches single handedly.

Malinga is 36 means already on the verge of retiring. Angelo will last there for few years more. Most of their great players have either retired or not chosen. They were not as weak as WI or AFG to get beaten so badly and even WI is improving now. I envy Aus because they have been ruling the cricket world for ages. No matter who retires, the one who replaces him proves to be better than the old.
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: January 11, 2020, 07:56:53 PM
NPXS has lost a lot of value and even FX. I thought FX would manage to reach $1 but when it started with $0.5, it's not $0.05. Feel bad for the ones that swapped their tokens as the swap ratio was low and now the tokens are almost worthless. Hope Binance doesn't delist it as then whatever value my tokens have now, they wouldn't be worth even 10% of it.
469  Economy / Reputation / Re: Overview of recent username changes in Bitcointalk on: January 11, 2020, 01:25:26 PM
I also spoke to one user who changed his username recently "Murat" and when he said he worked with me earlier, I was surprised that he could change as earlier this option was available on to few users.

But for trusted and reputed users, it can turn confusing especially if they are escrows and traders as to find out their old username would be very tough. It's better if Theymos later adds a feature where you can find the old username (or have it displayed below the new username).
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 11, 2020, 11:31:06 AM

Sri Lanka needs to replace the majority of the team in my opinion. Their performance has been horrible for quite sometime now and replacements could solve this problem. Except Angelo, everyone else disappointed me.

They managed to win against Pakistan where the weather conditions are like India but I can see players like Rajapaksa were not chosen so they should not skip good batsmen who can make those important 20-30 runs. They had great players like Sangakara and Mahela but in today's team, none look like match winners today.
471  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Another Big Crypto Exchange Shuts Down! Do You Have Coins There? on: January 11, 2020, 09:32:51 AM
Again a scam exchange like Cryptopia. They notified the users and said to wait for 30 days to withdraw their own funds. Why wait? If they wanted to inform the users, they should have let them withdraw their money and then shut down. Cryptopia did the same by saying they will allow users withdraw their coins but they just declared bankruptcy and no sign for a year.
472  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: What happens if my Wi-Fi Internet stops working during a transaction? on: January 11, 2020, 09:06:11 AM

You either managed to broadcast the transaction and the funds have successfully left your wallet and are in the mempool waiting for confirmations, or the coins never left your wallet and weren't broadcast successfully in which case they should still be in your wallet once you get your connection back.

I never had such internet-related issued while sending payments, crypto or non-crypto. Have you experienced such issues firsthand with ecommerce sites that your money is gone but it never arrived at its destination?

Internet got disconnected so I could see the coins still present in my wallet when I was trying to resend them. It was when I checked my exchange that I found that the coins have already been deposited and then I had to sync my Ledger which took time to show my balance was 0. The coins were already confirmed in about 5 minutes.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] bmy.guide | Connecting Travellers All Around The World 🛵 on: January 11, 2020, 08:52:45 AM

I'm sure it will be listed on livecoin too since they doing an IEO right there, as usually happen when a project run IEO in only one exchange, then automatically it will be listed there too. Since I like bmy.guide, I hope later the 2nd round of IEO would be better than 1st round.

Yeah, but livecoin doesn't have a good reputation so if other exchanges too are being worked on, it would be good as they mentioned that exchange listing is not their priority but have already finished their bounty program. Also, the results of the first IEO are not published so no clue if the project has collected the required funds.
474  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: What happens if my Wi-Fi Internet stops working during a transaction? on: January 10, 2020, 06:57:06 PM
My internet connection was lost while sending coins to an exchange with Ledger Nano but still surprisingly the coins still went through even though it was stuck and the wallet showed the coins were not sent and still present in the wallet. The wallet took time to sync with the blockchain network but it's mostly if you confirm a transaction, it dose go through. Even if sometimes it happens that the transaction doesn't go through but coins are debited, they will appear once you are connected to the internet so it's never lost which usually happens while making payments on ecommerce websites.
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 10, 2020, 06:47:46 PM
What a one-sided and low scoring game. SL are losing with both batting and bowling while WI atleast put up a fight earlier. Glad to see a bowler getting runs as well as wickets. Virat is now shuffling the team and checking which combinations work but the old is gold. Him coming later will not work for the team. SL need to rework on their top order batsmen. All 4 failed today.

477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] bmy.guide | Connecting Travellers All Around The World 🛵 on: January 10, 2020, 10:51:17 AM
Will the GUIDE token be listed on livecoin only after the IEO too? Also, the bounty campaign ended too soon so couldn't get a chance to take part. Will a translation campaign be considered later or any upcoming bounty campaign will be launched?
478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 10, 2020, 10:44:34 AM

Gambhir ranks 3rd as captain, as far as IPL history is concern. Dhoni and Rohit are sitting at 1-2 rank respectively. Suresh Raina comparison is not looking good IMO, as he lead the team only 30ish time in the IPL and semi-retired (if that's what you want to call)from the international cricket.

Bowlers could become good captain but in current bowling department only 2 names comes to my mind Ashwin and Bhuvneshwar( everyone else is new or don't have enough experience). Chances of Ashwin coming back in T-20/ ODI squad is thin, so we can rule out him. On the other hand, Bhuvi is mature- Balanced guy and looks captain material but in recent time his place is not fixed as well due to cut-throat competition among the bowlers.

So BCCI should stick with the any Batsman Captain

As per Wikipedia too, the win percentage shows Tendulkar as the second best and Rohit as the third followed by Kumble, Iyer and then Gambhir. He used to have a temper same like Kohli and those days even Kohli looked like a bad captain for RCB but then improved. Currently, only Rohit looks best but in the coming years, I don't see anyone as good as our earlier captains.
479  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchanges which do not charge a withdraw fee? on: January 10, 2020, 10:33:03 AM
Exmarkets till now isn't charging fee and the minimum to withdraw is 0.005 BTC with 0 withdrawal fee. It's trusted as well as I had withdrawn an amount few months back and traded my tokens but trading volume is low for most coins: http://prntscr.com/qlqxtf

Nationalized bank accounts should never be trusted or used while dealing with crypto. Also, how can these banks even know about crypto transactions when the deals are p2p?
