1201  Other / Serious discussion / Re: My MEW wallet hacked... please help me on: May 20, 2019, 03:59:55 PM
Now the hacker is using Etherdelta: https://etherscan.io/token/0x799d214d7143b766cdd4979cd0280939288ba931?a=0xdd645ae86aa2e36f4d8e841246a00cde3439126c

OP, did you manage to contact Mercatox? They should atleast manage to stop the hacker from withdrawing the coins and same goes for Etherdelta too.

Also, it seems you are still using the hacked address (probably linked to Etherdelta and Idex) and sending coins which is too dangerous now. From Etherdelta, you get an option to withdraw it to another address too: https://www.reddit.com/r/EtherDelta/comments/6hrmsl/how_to_deposit_withdraw_and_transfer/
1202  Other / Meta / Re: Any managers lost good posters due recent mass ban? on: May 20, 2019, 03:48:55 PM
BPIP doesn't show temp bans.
Ok, did not know that.

Modlog does not show temp bans and signature bans, so that is why BPIP does not show such information on temporary bans and signature bans.
Yes, it is fair because only good users, with good net-effects will have chance to get temp bans & signature bans as alternatives of permanent bans due to plagiarism. So, it's true that there are limited cases will get such chances because there are unsignificant users get good net-effects. Even they are good net-effective users, if they did plagiarsim from time to time, their chances will be reduced.

I said that the punishment is not fair if a temp-ban has also not been issued and it's just limited to signature ban. I was always for a temp ban and signature ban instead of a permanent ban if users have done this years ago and only once. The others who have been doing it in the past and even now deserve the perm-ban.
1203  Local / Regional Languages (India) / Re: ICO pe paisha lagana bandh karo on: May 20, 2019, 02:17:22 PM
Reasearch karne se bhi pata nahi chalega ki kaunsa ICO accha hai kyunki aajkal saare project apna kaam ICO se paise jutane ke baad hi shuru karte hain aur jab unhein paise nahi milte to woh log ya to project bandh karte hain ya phir niveshakon ko cheat karte hain. 2016-17 mein bahut se ICO acche the aur niveshakon ko phayda bhi hua lekin 2018 ke baad sab ICO scam nikle.
1204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need so many cryptocurrency exchanges? on: May 20, 2019, 01:45:18 PM
We need more exchanges as now the market is down and most of the big exchanges have become insolvent, have been hacked and some just couldn't manage to earn enough to keep the site running.
In your reply unfortunately I do not see the adequacy. Why create hundreds of exchanges if they do not have the funds even to maintain the health of the sites?I met quite a lot of exchanges that simply disappeared and their sites did not work and my funds remained there. Since then I have used proven and reliable exchanges.

What defines a proven and reliable exchange? One which pays on time and doesn't ask KYC or one which takes a long time and asks for KYC? I have used many reputed exchanges and the same exchanges ended up scamming me or getting hacked. The truth is all exchanges are the same as they don't have any laws to protect the traders so even if we have a lot of exchanges, I don't see it as a problem and of course, I don't even trust Binance and Coinbase as they too can anytime scam their users. The scam of cryptopia is still fresh in my mind as I lost my money there.
1205  Other / Meta / Re: Any managers lost good posters due recent mass ban? on: May 20, 2019, 01:39:19 PM
I don't know the user Cellard but I didn't expect that even bill gator will be banned too (unless this is fake). He is very active in this section and I remember his thread that he will give sMerits. Now nobody is exempted. Anybody who did break the rules even it is 5-6 years ago will be banned Cheesy
It's not fake, he is banned. I have seen in one of the threads listing the recent ban appeal and the result. Later, I have had checked his profile too.
Check his profile- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=370611

But he has not got a 60 days ban as per BPIP like others so it seems now only signature bans are being issued for members who have proved themselves? It seems unfair if we are considering the same crime and the punishment is different for all members.

1206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum wallets for Android on: May 19, 2019, 07:54:37 PM
I'm looking for something secure and safe, which means preferably open source. I managed to found MEWConnect which is basically the phone version for Myetherwallet. Are there any other options that I should consider?
I downloaded MEWconnect but its still not working properly for me,so don't deposit any ethereum before make sure its working.

Coinomi can be one of the best wallet for storing altcoins on android or even you can try blockchain.com.

What problem did you face with MEWConnect? It's working fine for me.

Also, Jaxx is not safe as users have complained that their wallets have got hacked so I don't recommend using that wallet.
1207  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - The most advanced cryptocurrency exchange on: May 19, 2019, 05:41:46 PM
I have barely any coins on the exchange and I don't find it even worth withdrawing my tokens. I have some CCT tokens and they are charging more tokens as fee than the amount of tokens I have. They were worth 1200 dollars earlier but now worth $2. I can either sell them in distress sale or keep them on the exchange. Same goes for FLP.
1208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EARTH TOKEN - Participate in the $120 trillion natural asset market on: May 19, 2019, 05:04:29 PM
^With 0 volume trading since 6 months, you can't even expect anything better. They have been delisted from exchanges too. The token is dead long back.
1209  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does a modern woman marry for love or for securities(money and the likes)? on: May 19, 2019, 05:02:08 PM
For both and after she gets married, she gets none but has to just bear all the injustice that comes her way.

Well, why does the OP feel it's all because of women that marriages are breaking? I've seen many marriages breaking mostly because of the man rather than the woman so this question should be asked to the men as they mainly get married to good-lookers and then when their wife grows old, they look for younger women.
1210  Other / Off-topic / Re: Next Batman: Robert Pattinson on: May 19, 2019, 04:58:45 PM
Robert neither looks good nor does he act well. In Twilight, I liked Taylor more than the leads. Except a decent height, I don't see anything appealing in him.
1211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need so many cryptocurrency exchanges? on: May 19, 2019, 04:54:55 PM
We need more exchanges as now the market is down and most of the big exchanges have become insolvent, have been hacked and some just couldn't manage to earn enough to keep the site running. Having few big exchanges is not good for small projects who can't afford those enormous listing fees and they manage to get listed only on etherdelta and IDEX which is not good as the buyers dump the price and those coins just lose their potential of gaining momentum in the market.
1212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SNOV.io decentralized lead generation service on: May 19, 2019, 04:50:15 PM
Team burn 100m snov

But still no effect on the price. It still dropped by 2%.

Because snov is not listed in major exchanger Sad Only buyers can increase price

Tidex and Kucoin are also not that bad as the price initially was high because of many traders on these exchanges. Now traders only are so less so can't blame any exchanger. Even Binance has the same situation.
1213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum wallets for Android on: May 19, 2019, 04:37:54 PM
You can use Metamask extension for chrome on android phone. If you need the instructions, you can find them here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2turZ4yn1w
1214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: May 19, 2019, 04:23:46 PM
Even 20 sats as compared to the price in 2017. I feel 50 sats would be approximately the price it started. If ETH manages to reach $500 mark which it should looking at the recent week's upward trend, it shouldn't be tough. I can see so many buyers in their telegram chat for xPOS so it all looks positive now. I am looking forward to the swap now as I can see FX already reaching the $1 mark. Anyone who is looking forward to 20 sats, the swap ratio isn't a bad deal.

I submitted the necessary documents for the KYC, but my account was not approved.
i've encountered this message

"Hi   XXX,
Unfortunately we could not accept your onboarding application at this time, due to the documentation that has been submitted. Please click the link below to return to the platform and ensure you upload documentation which shows your registered address."

There is an address on page 2 of the bank statement.

I sent an e-mail. (info@jinbitoken.io , support@jinbitoken.io)
I wrote from twitter.
i wrote from telegram

I don't want my labor to be wasted.
But no interlocutors....

I don't remember what I submitted for address proof but usually they ask for passport and electricity bill/bank statement but both these bills and/or bank statements should be in your name with your address. Once my document was rejected as the electricity bill was on my parent's name and not mine and same for the bank statement.

^It's after token release that bounties will be distributed but they don't even mention when. I'm glad they don't ban users asking about it in the main group.

1218  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do bounty participants enjoy longer or shorter campaigns? on: May 18, 2019, 05:35:07 PM
How long or short a bounty campaign is, is not what bounty participants enjoy, for what they enjoy is the team treating them like a human and co-worker. Besides, they like the team to keep their own side of the bargain in terms of making payment in time with keeping to the rules and regulation consider no KYC issue.

You spoke my mind. I hate the fact that the teams treat the participants as some beggars begging for money when infact we are working in their promotional campaign. They just ban users from their telegram groups who complain about a valid issue and don't even answer them via a personal message. Even if the team is working positively towards their project, such rudeness shows they can't be trusted for long.

The current ban of 60 days and 2 years sig ban is appropriate and it's OK for users who did the mistake years ago but I don't like the excuse that they were new in the forum and so it was OK according to them to copy another member's post just to rank up. That's the most silly excuse as none of them are 3-year-old kids. It's just copying in the exam and giving the excuse that they did it to get more marks. There's no one who doesn't know such a simple thing. It's a different thing if they posted a news article and forgot to add a reference but not those copy-paste posts. They can't be considered "good posters".
